Did you guys put Text Enhance in the Firefox browser?
I now have really annoying green underlined text with pop ups all over the place, did you guys put this into the browser? i didn't want such a stupid annoying thing.
how is this supposed to enhance firefox?
Mine came in the form of an extension called "Facetheme". It masquerades as a facebook layout tool. Not sure how I got it. Go to Tools>Ad-Ons>Extensions and disable any suspicious extensions. There is your problem. I couldn't "remove" it so I uninstalled it. Problem soled.

I often have to open files .cue with Text Edit. Right Click, Open with, Others, Text Edit. Is it possible to put Text Edit in the menu avoiding to use "others"?
The easiest way is to keep Textedit in the Dock and drag the .cue file(s) to the Dock icon.
You can also create an Automator Service:
Open Automator
Select: Service
Select Service receives selected [files or folders] in [Finder]
and:
Then select one or more .cue file, right click (or Control-click) on the selection to display the contextual menu. Scroll to the bottom of the contextual menu and select Services -> (what you named the Service). -

That's going to be a ridiculous waste of money and energy.
First of all, the current ATI drivers don't support multiple GPUs, so at the moment even a single 4870X2 would be only a 'normal' 4870 (which is quite a speed beast already). GFX drivers evolve rapidly, so things might look different next month, but when it comes to Linux and hardware there's one Golden Rule: stay away from the newest stuff and wait for proper support to get coded.
I also wonder what power supply could possibly cope with the differences between idle and full load; that's way beyond 400W. But then, I'm one of those "quiet&green" types where >100W idle is already a bit much.
I kind of understand that you want to get it done and not worry about hardware for the next 10 years or so, but that's simply not how the hardware world works and never did. At least not for the average consumer. -

Can you please help to understand how the firefox decides on the Expires date for a cached javascript file ( my server did not set any Expire header, but firebox set it down). I tried to understand but different javascript file gets different Expires date value when it is being cached. Please help me as I tried lot and could not get proper answer for this. Do you guys know where to populate the CSS class items on the WYSIWYG Editor as shown below? We're trying to make it easily for the client to apply formatting by selecting the CSS Class on the list.
The Page Template must contain a reference to exactly one stylesheet.
That single <link rel="stylesheet"> tag must be directly in the <head> section of the Page Template, not in any content holder.
The class to be added cannot have a selector any more complex than a single class. E.g., this is fine:
.button {
background-color: red;
padding: 5px 10px;
This will fail:
.content .button {
background-color: red;
padding: 5px 10px;
The classes to be added must each be added to the list in the Partner Portal (Partner Portal › Tools › Online Editor Settings › select your site from the dropdown › Editor Apply CSS).
With caching disabled, the above changes will be visible when you change a page's Template and answer 'Yes' to the 'Do you want to reload?' alert box.

I want to eliminate an autofill choice that pops up when I sign into yahoo using the Firefox browser. I tried yahoo help which said hover over the unwanted line and press delete, but that did not work. Do you know how I can get rid of this autofill? I am using a Mac if that makes a difference. If you used Sync to do that "import", disable Sync for at least one of those Profiles.

Thank you for your suggestion. I have Sync enabled for all the profiles. To my surprise, however, Sync was of no use in getting Default's extension collection into Shopping. For that I had to resort to the article http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_data_to_a_new_profile_-_Firefox.
I will try disabling Sync on Shopping. -
The scroll bar (the one used to scroll up and down any kind of website), that is normally in the right part of the firefox browser, would be of much help to me if it could sometimes be moved to the left part of the browser. Is this possible? How can it be done? Can anybody tell me the exact steps to take in order to do this (if it is possible of course)? This would be helpfull to me, since I think that the firefox scroll bar is overlaping the scroll part of the facebook chat sidebar, since I just can see a few people on this facebook chat sidebar and I can´t scroll along it, as I could a while ago. So my guess is that the firefox scroll bar is covering the other. In order to solve it in a simpler way, I guessed that if the firefox scroll bar could be moved to the left side of the browser, this problem could be solved. So, can anybody help me?

How can I undo the firefox browser refresh and get my old browser & settings, etc. back?
I accidentally did the browser refresh yesterday (2-17-2015) without reading further down the page on what that would do. It of course gave me a fresh browser. The problem is I lost my customized appearance (Dark blue fox, I believe), the add-ons I really have come to really on, etc. Firefox did create a folder with the old settings. I'm not that savoy understanding how to get that folder to open, run, whatever it takes to put all the things I want back into working order on the firefox browser. Please excuse my lack of proper terminology, jargon, etc. I know enough to be confused and everything I have learned IT has come from stumbling through it over the last 15 years of having my own PC.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Many, many Thanks, OttodewyWhen you reset (refresh) Firefox then a new profile is created and some personal data (bookmarks, history, cookies, passwords, form data) is automatically imported and the current profile folder will be moved to the desktop to an "Old Firefox Data" folder.
Installed extensions and other customizations (toolbars, prefs) that you have made are lost and need to be redone.
It is possible to recover data from the old profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.

Note that is is also possible to use the Profile Manager to create a new profile.

Running the other 7 MobileSafari pages in the background?
Since MobileSafari doesn't let the other 7 pages (out of the 8) run in the background, are there any third party browser apps that can? Or is it the same restriction since they're still using its rendering engine underneath?
