Did you try the plugin ARC for Room auto correction ?

Hello everybody, i know it might off topic, but i would like to know if some of you out there use the ARC Room Correction plugin from IK Multimedia, and how is reliable ? I am asking cause i always wonder about my mixes, to people they sound great to me some sounds weird, and was wondering if because my room is quite absorbing if it this that affects my mixes. So your opinion about that plugin will be very appreciated. Thanks to share your view.

We are all users here. There is no one from Apple responding on these user forums.
You did not mention which interface you are trying to use, or what steps Apple support had you try already, so I'll start with basics.
Your mid-2009 MacBook Pro would have shipped with OS X 10.5 'Leopard', and OS X 10.5 and prior versions supported the AppleTalk network connection and protocols, as well as others.
OS X 10.6, 'Snow Leopard' dropped support for AppleTalk.
So, Snow Leopard 10.6.8 likely does contain the correct DRIVER for your printer, BUT if your printer was originally connected via AppleTalk, AppleTalk will not work with Snow Leopard. Period.
There is at least one recently-published workaround to connect your printer via Ethernet, provided that you have the OPTIONAL HP Ethernet MIO interface card installed in your HP LaserJet 4MV printer.
If your printer DOES have the optional Ethernet interface, you can reconfigure your printer to use Ethernet instead of Appletalk. No, it's not 'plug and play' like AppleTalk was, but patiently following detailed step-by-step instructions it can be made to work.
The HP forums contains brief instructions on how to configure MIO Ethernet, and once configured, how to select the 4MV driver within this thread:

In my opinion, if you don't already have an HP Ethernet MIO card installed in your circa 1995 printer, then it's time to buy a new printer. Spending more money to 'upgrade' something that old doesn't seem like a good investment.

In v4 why did you flip the context menu for open in new tab/window. Sucks when you are used to the other way

I downgraded to 3.x because when I browse I have many new open windows (I have been using FF for so long I automatically select the second option). Seems stupid to change the order of the context menu when it has been the other way forever.
Please change it back or at least have the order as an option.

And there is an option to use a menu editor to put them back detailed in that thread as well. The problem, of course, is that you need to perform a complex customization to every computer on which you use Firefox in order to fix a problem that should never have been created, never made it through beta, and that the developers won't fix because they believe that they are right.
Frankly, eventually you get used to it. But in the mean time, they have annoyed, and in many cases pissed-off a large segment of their users for no reason at all.

Did you buy the Applecare for iPad?

Did you buy the applecare with your new iPad or planning to buy it? It says that for $99.99 CAN, it extends the warranty and technical support to 2 years. Plus it covers hardware damage but you have to pay extra $49.00 for service. I broke the glass from my iPhone before 1 day after I got it, Rogers told me that it will cost $400 for the repair, so I had to find a local person to repair it and it costs me $120.00 but I see some dusts trap inside it. Do you think for an extra $100, this is worthed?

There are two kinds of apple care.
Regular Apple care that has been for sale up to this last week and Apple Care +

Must be bought in the first 30 days after purchase

What you got with yours was regular Apple Care, which infamously did not cover screen breakage. Most people were quoted repair prices starting at $269 and up depending on model. And really it wasn't as much a repair as it was you being allowed to purchase a refurbished device to replace your broken one with.
Apple Care Plus means that if you break your screen, you have up to 2 chances to only pay $49 for a replacement/Repair (no idea if they do the refurb swap or if they really fix it.....with the program in play only a week or so there's no real data available)
I personally got the regular Apple Care. Apple Care + didn't exist a few months ago. I hadn't originally bought it, but after my new iPad's 30 pin port corked it on me (best buy replaced it) I realized that there are certainly batches out there with manufacturer's defects in them and the $99 was a relatively cheap insurance policy against me getting another device with errors in it. (my theory.....some factories aren't as good as others or get batches of bad pieces and parts, so you end up with some out there with errors in them)
In your case, regular Apple Care wouldn't have helped you since it doesn't cover damage. however, Depending on how expensive the Care + is, if I had a new iPad I'd seriously consider it.

Why did you remove The option to disable Java scripts?

Everyone knows malware always comes through java scripts. So why did you remove the option to turn it off ? Why the false saftey excuse? (duckspeak) This makes no sense. Alot of people also get errors and have slower speed with some pages so they disable it. I understand there is plugins available to block scripts but they never work 100%. It just really really seems strange that a browser that was built on the idea of safety, security and trust has now suddenly removed a item that makes users less safe, Under the guise of safety. Im also not sure how you are a computer expert and dont even know the difference between Java and Javascript. I have the exact same problem trying to use the Remote app on both my iPhone 3gs and iPad 2 with either my Mac or ATV2. My Remote app used to work on my phone - I can't recall if I ever actually used it with my iPad, but when I tried today, I got all the same results as you did (on both iPad, and then iPhone). I was using my ATV2 to play music from iTunes on my Mac and wanted to use the Remote app, but it would not connect to either device no matter what I did.

the current day was light blue in ical in 10.6 but with plenty of contrast, but I recently made the bigger leap all the way to calendar in 10.9. the choice of color is terrible for reasons such as Spile1962 puts below, but also not having any way to tweak it is terrible. I'm on a bran d new imac and can barely see a difference and frankly, while I appreciate the subtlety, I still forget to look for the darker bar across the top of the current week and day. we should be able to adjust weekend and current day bg colors.
I went into the app's package contents in hopes that they were using a tiff/png file that I could tweak on my own but couldn't find anything for them. all the icons are there, as are the bg sets for all the little pop-ups and things, but I couldn't even find a reference to a hex color in the plist file.
send apple feedback. I just did myself, except that Calendar hasn't made the list (yet?), only iCal up to version 4.x, and Messages is still only iChat for feedback, and some others are old as well. apparently after steve died, apple's attention to these details just died with him. it's been that long since those other apps should have been relevant on their site.

Can I set this as a default view?

You might go to Edit> Preferences> Zoom
Do this without opening any particular PDF so that it applies to the program itself and not just one document.

You can’t. You have upgrade or have whoever is send you files save as IDML. Don’t expect perfection.

I would like to try Customer ToughDay tool (http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/current/testing/tough-day.html) for load testing of our author instances of CQ5. While I am able to execute the application, the logging with log4j seems to be configured incorrectly.
Can you share the source code for toughday-5.5.jar? I think it can be a very good starting point for those of us who are new to CQ5 and need to load test it.

I don't believe there are any differences between the two versions. But you can check the source code for the Numeric Limit Test in TestStand\Components\NI\StepTypes\CommonSubsteps. But the main part of the step is the Code Module and this bit the users supplies this.

Uninstall SIMBL as follows. Back up all data before making any changes.
