Didn't Complete Download
Okay, so. I redeemed a gift certificate to iTunes normally, and started to download an album, normally. While it was downloading, I clicked on one or two of the songs in the album to see if I could get them to a playlist even before they finished downloading. Then the dowloading songs froze up. Just froze up. So I pushed the Escape key, which closed the window. When I opened iTunes again the songs were not showed in the Downloading section and, not only the money from the songs which I never got, but ALL $15 FROM THE CARD were gone from my account, leaving me with exactly zip.
Any help, please?
This happened to me the other day... it really annoyed me! Well it's quite simple all you have to do is:
Once you are in iTunes...
Click the "Store" menu at the top ->
Find "Check for purchases".
Hopefully it will find the songs you were trying to download and it will finish downloading them.

Let's try a repair install of iTunes.
Restart the PC first.
If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair".
If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "iTunes", and click "Change". Select "Repair" and click "Next" as per the following screenshot:

A track that I bought from the store only play partially as if it didn't completely download. This was some time a go and there is no record in my iTunes account of its purchase. Any thoughts to a solution?

You may want to consider deleting and redownloading the affected songs from the iTunes Store.

Music store download didn't complete
I purchased the latest episode of Lost ("?") and it did not complete downloading, but when I try to download it again, it asks me if I want to purchase it again. I verified in my account section that it shows as the latest purchase.
How do I download what I paid for?

Also if you have any internet blockers they might be preventing it from completing. I have encountered a problem similar to this and it was one of those two issues that solved it.

Check USB connections
If there’s an issue with the USB port, cable, dock, or hub, or if the device becomes disconnected during restore, try troubleshooting the USB connection, then troubleshooting your security software.
Common errors: 13, 14, 1600-1629, 1643-1650, 2000-2009, 4000, 4005, 4013, 4014, 4016, “invalid response”, and being prompted to restore again after a restore completes.
To narrow down the issue, you can also change up your hardware:
Use another USB cable.
Plug your cable into a different USB port on your computer.
Try a different dock connector (or no dock).
Add (or remove) a USB hub between your device and computer.
Connect your computer directly to your Internet source, with no routers, hubs, or switches.
If you see your error after changing your USB connections, continue to the next section to troubleshoot your hardware. -
Unable to restart after a Security update failed to completely download.
I was downloading a security update. It failed to completely download. When I tried to restart the computer, it will get up to the blue screen background of the user login page. It will not go any further. I tried using the >Shift< key to get it into a SAFE mode but nothing happens except the progress indicator revolves. Should it be revolving over 3 hours and still no progress is seen? Is there something else I can do? Is there Apple or 3rd party software that could perhaps fix it? Please help I don't want to start from the beginning and re-install everything.

Try Disk Utility. You need your system restore disk.
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc that came with your computer, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.) Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Click the disclosure triangle to the left of the hard drive icon to display the names of your hard disk volumes and partitions.
5. Select your Mac OS X volume.
6. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk.
One reason that an update can't finish is that you didn't use Disk Utility to Repair Disk Permissions before you ran the udpate. Second possibility is not enough free disk space. If you haven't upgraded the hard disk in your iBook, it probably has a 60GB drive or less. Never allow your free drive space fall below 20% of the total drive. This information can be viewed in Disk Utility at the bottom of the page with MacintoshHD 10.4 selected in the panel on the left.

Iphoto didn't finish downloading not able to re-download
I bought the upgrade for iphoto and when I went to resume downloading several days later - it didn't complete. now I am getting around to trying again and I can't resume the download. In Itune store - it says it was purchased and downloaded. How do I download this upgrade that I paid for again?
First, from the App Store menu bar click Store > Check for Unfinished Donwloads.
If that doesn't help, try this...
How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install.
Make sure and use the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
You may need to temporarily disable anti virus software if installed before downloading or updating apps. -
Is there a possibility to clear ONLY the COMPLETED downloads when a button is clicked in firefox?

Along the lines of cor-el's last post, if you want to delete most of the downloads, you can select the entire list using Ctrl+a then Ctrl+click the ones you want to exclude from the selection.
In some cases, Firefox supports "places queries" to drill down on specific kinds of history. However, I didn't see one for downloads documented in the MDN article, so I'm not sure whether there is a way to query just for successfully completed downloads.

I have rented two movies on my laptop and they will not completely download..it shows that they are theere but when i try to watch them on my laptop or my ipad it wont open up???? help

A number of people have reported similar issues recently, many appear to have found a discrepancy of some kind in their account settings and making changes to these settings or simply resetting them has resolved the matter.
Check your account details are correct, check that you are using the correct details for Location, Region and Time Zone. You may want to change these settings and then change them back to see if that helps.
You might also try logging out of and then back into your iTunes account (Settings > iTunes Store > Apple ID’s > Sign Out) and restarting your router. (Some have reported that after doing this, they need to check for rentals even though it may report that there aren’t any, after which rentals once again appear in the ‘movies’ feature)
Rentals should appear under their own heading in the ‘Movies’ feature, you might also check at Settings > iTunes Store > Check For Rentals. -
Has anyone experienced problems with Mackeeper? I did not complete downloading this software. Yet, occasionally when on the internet, I will have the MacKeeper multi-colored circle replace my pointer. How do you deal with this?

Hi I had to recover my SCCM media server from SQL and now having trouble to install Windows Update. When I deploy Windows Update, I can see status is "UKNOWEN".
I feel like something to do with WSUS/SQL/SCCM media server syncing issue.. But I can't point out that trouble setting to fix it. I have checked and make sure, there is no proxy setting in IE and SUP.
In the wsyscmgr.log is saying it is having syncing issue.
