Didn't revecive filevault code Yosemite

When I installed OS X Yosemtie I need to go through configurations windows. Same windows you have always when you star your yourney with Mac so I think you know what I'm talking about. There was a FileVault window. I didn't want that but I forgot what it is and turn it on. I realized that encrypiton started when I wanted to work only on battery I saw "Connect power adapter to resume encryption". So I thought ok never mind. I need to let it go to the end. Also I started reading about it in internet. And I red that I should get a code just right after I turn it on and before encryption start running. Now encrypiton is done but I don't have FileVault code. What now? Maybe issues is caused that I started FileVault process at the begining (configuration) not from the system preferences.

I decrypted the drive, and all is well. An Apple technician told me FileVault is unnecessary "unless you work for the C.I.A."
Decrypting takes 8-12 hours. You can use your computer or let it sleep during the process, you just have to keep it plugged into a power source.
I think it's a major flub that they made this a default for Yosemite, as so few need it, it clearly doesn't work properly, and Apple is a little cavalier about introducing an element that could potentially get someone locked out of their computer.
Personally, I didn't like that it didn't provide a security key, which was supposed to be a part of the process, so I decrypted the drive, and that's my advice to all of you.

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Disable Filevault on Yosemite?

Hey, I just updated to Yosemite and in the set-up window I activated Filevault having a different idea about it. However, when I went to disable, it won't let me until it's all encrypted. Will I have to wait until it's all encrypted to disable it? Or is there anyway I can stop the encryption and disable it all?

You can generate a new recovery key by issuing this command in Terminal:
sudo fdesetup changerecovery -personal
You will be prompted for the password used with your user login. Once you enter that password, it will generate a new recovery key.
You can then confirm this key is active by issuing the command:
sudo fdesetup haspersonalrecoverykey
It should return TRUE.

I got a new phone today the iphone 5c, the guy at the store put the new sim card in but didn't tell me it needed a pass code to activate it, thinking it would be like the 9999 or the 0000 or even the 1234 but no it wasn't so i ended up disabling my phone, i can't get past the pin code to even reset it in itunes, please someone help me!!! I am so over this phone and i haven't even had a chance to enjoy it...

it sounds like it is a passcode on the iphone (not a sim pin). http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1212 will help. if you want to look at sim pin lock http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1316.

Does this article contain anything useful? A volume limit can be set on an iPod without a code being supplied, in which case anyone with physical access to the iPod can change the volume.

Same problem as everybody else. USA user, same inabilities. My Account > Profile ("Profile completeness = 80%). The only thing pending is "Verify Number" "We were unable to send you a confirmation code at this time". This time is apparently any time, all the time and every time. 3 days on this problem. Skype Preferences on my Mac: Messaging > Identify SMS Messages to > Verify Number For this I get "The operation couldn’t be completed. (SMS_Failure…" Any additional part of the message is obscured by the size of the display. HELP!!!

If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup).
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
If this doesn't work, you'll need to force Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times.
