Restore the phone from backup on the last computer your phone synced with, and this will remove the passcode http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414. Connect the iOS device to your computer and try to make a backup

Then restore via iTunes. The iOS device will be erased. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Just got my iPad 2. It was working fine. Left it alone for a few minutes and now it wants a passcode. I didn't set a passcode! My Apple ID and passcode don't work! Help.

Connect to iTunes and set up your iPad as a new device. I don't have a clue as to why your iPad is requesting a passcode when you didn't create one to begin with. But after setting up your iPad as a new device and turn off passcode in settings, so this can't happen again, unless you do want to use a passcode (not a bad thing you know as it will stop someone from using your Ipad if they get it).

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTunes and plug (very important)
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note: Data will be lost

If you can't use the computer that you normally sync to then you will need to use a different computer, but you won't be able to re-sync your content.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

HT201380 OK... I updated all "asked" items. Now I am "locked" out of my iPhoto. Any help PLEASE! I'm out of the USA right now, but it had been working fine up until today.

First, there are no PPC Macs that can run Snow Leopard or later. Did you buy your iMac used? Where did you get Mavericks in the first place? If it was installed by the seller, then you are not licesnsed to use his/her copy.
Do you know exactly what iMac model you have? If it's a post 2010 model you can do the following:
Install Mavericks, Lion/Mountain Lion Using Internet Recovery
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Internet Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND-OPTION- R keys until a globe appears on the screen. Wait patiently - 15-20 minutes - until the Recovery main menu appears.
Partition and Format the hard drive:
1. Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
2. After DU loads select your newly installed hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion. Mavericks: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks and click on the Install button. Be sure to select the correct drive to use if you have more than one.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet
            if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
This should restore the version of OS X originally pre-installed on the computer. You may then go to the App Store to download Mavericks using your Apple ID.
If you have a 2010 model you may require a special firmware upgrade before you can do the above: Computers that can be upgraded to use OS X Internet Recovery.
If you have an earlier iMac then you must get Snow Leopard 10.6.8 installed by installing a version of Snow Leopard either included on the software restore discs or:

SO its finals time and while i was studying I decided i was going to update my phone to IOS 7 i went down to the study room and i came back and tried to unlock my phone and now I am locked out because my password wont work and its the same password I have had for a long time! Restore, if iTunes will let you. Everything except the password will be restored. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. Be forewarned that it takes a long time. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.
