Difenentiate labels by serial number

Hi All,
I am able to create barcode labels on smartforms, but i want to differentiate the labels by serial number, how it can be done.
For Ex: today i have taken 25 labels printout, the serial number should be 1 to 25, for the next set of labels it has to start with 26, 27... so on.
How it can be done in smartforms. Need ur assistance.

You do need the dashes.
Also double check that O & 0, I & 1 are not being confused.
The serial no. pretty much follows a three numbers then three letters approach.

CS2 Premium serial number not accepted at use on Win 7 system

I have at several years old version of the Creative Suite 2 Premium. It has been licensed on a Win XP system previously, but now I try to install it on my new Win 7 computer.
But the "Personalize your software" - window will not accept the serial number that I can read on the product casette from the label named "SERIAL NUMBER CREATIVE SUITE PREM".
Am pretty sure that it is entered correctly, and in fact the same serial number is accepted during installatin.
Please advise....

The request for the serial number comes when I start up InDesign, I have not tried the other programs.

Elusive Serial Number on box (Photoshop Elements 11) bought from Amazon

Have been trying to set up Photoshop. Can't get past the serial number stage! Looked at box, smaller box inside, all inserts. The only numbers appear on the outer box, to the left of the official Adobe sticker. However, there is NOTHING labelled as "Serial Number" There are 2 bar codes - one has an 18 digitcode. The other has a two letter : 8 digit set above the bar code and underneath there is a 12 digit set with spaces thus x   xxxxx xxxxx   x
Can anyone advise me?

Serial number to install premiere 12?

I am trying to install premiere elements 12 and it won't accept any of the numbers off the box I purchased it in for a serial number. Dissapointed that there were no instructions on the disc on aquiring the serial number.

You should be looking specifically for the serial number on the box in which the discs came. The digit sequence should be, with it clearly labeled serial number.

I purchased the boxed bundle Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12. There were two installation discs, each in its own envelope (one disc for Windows installation, one for Mac).
These two installation discs were in a rectangular box on which was pasted a label with serial number for Photoshop Elements and a label with the serial number for Premiere Elements.
If you continue to have problems, Adobe is the only one to straighten out this type of matter. Click on the following link

How to find ThinkPad serial number if label is worn?

QuestionI'm having some trouble with my T500 ThinkPad and want to contact service, but am not sure how I can find out the machine type and serial number to provide to support when I call because the sticker on the bottom of the laptop is faded so I don't know what the S/N is. I do have one number though: [serial removed] was what I copied down from it before it became faded. I dont know what to do now, so if you have any ideas, that'd be great.

Generally the label with type and serial information is found on the bottom of laptops and tablets and on the rear of desktop systems and on the back or along the edge of displays. As noted by the question asked above, in some cases, the label may become worn. To reduce / avoid this, the type / serial label was relocated to the battery compartment on some systems with removable batteries, along with the Win 7 COA. As Win 8 does not have a COA lable, and print technologies for labels have improved, most current systems have the label on the bottom.
Some tablets may have the type and serial information label on the inside of memory door / SD card slot covers as was the case with the ThinkPad tablet type 1838/1839.
Here is a link to an article on the support site with examples of label locations for different model Lenovo systems. If the system will not power up at all, finding the physical label is the best course of action when contacting service.
If the label is missing and the system will power up, there are several ways to easily find this information as it is written into the BIOS on the system board.
1) Command Prompt
Run an elevated command prompt, Enter the command "wmic bios get serialnumber" (without the quotations).
2) BIOS
Boot to BIOS (press F1 on startup) and the model type and serial number will be listed.
3) Diagnostics - Lenovo Solution Center (LSC) or the prior Lenovo ThinkVantage toolbox.

Yes you can get the device id, try following stuff:

New Serial Number label?

Hello,
after a repair of my MacBook's topcase I'm missing the Serial Number label in the battery compartment.
It's still visible/readable in OS X though.
But now I'm afraid that in case my hardware has a serious crash I can't prove anyone 1. that it's my laptop and 2. that it still has guarantee on it.
As I expect my old one to be lost ...is there a way I can receive a replacement label from Apple?

Check your coverage by entering your serial number in your System Profiler in the "About Your Support Coverage" box on this page. If it's in there, you should be fine.

PS Elements 13 - purchased box DVD, but the label serial number only has 18 numbers and not 24. Only a pin on the sleeve. Stuck!

The chat line is down for the Chrismas Holiday and I'm stuck. Cannot locate the 24 digit serial number to register the product to use it. Any advise? I've got the DVD for a MAC that I purchased for $89. from B&H Photo online. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you bothered to do any research at all? Not every app was upgrade to 5.5. Those that weren’t will next be upgraded to CS6.

Mac App Store (MAS) apps, per Apple, do not have serial numbers, activation codes or passwords. The MAS does not carry tial versions. It carries free and paid versions. A free version usually has less available features than a paid version of the same app.
If you had a trial version of this app from another source from this same developer, you should have deleted the trial version before downloading the paid version from the MAS. The two versions have now become mixed together. You should get an app such as AppCleaner and completely delete this app and all associated files from your Mac. Then start over and download the paid version from the MAC from the Purchases pane.

Problem with serial number when in stalling second disc

I am installing Adobe Photoshop Elements 10. The first disc installed fine. Then the computer restarted and I inserted the second disc. But this time when I put the same serial number in as I did before with the first disc, it tells me that it is incorrect. Please help me!

What is in the second disk? Is it Adobe Premiere Elements? If it is then it must have come with its own serial number. Look on the disk sleeve if there is anything on a orange label.
To ryn Adobe Photoshop elements, you only need one disk. I don't know what package have you bought or did you buy about a year ago because some PSE came with Windows and MAC disks in one box while some people buy a special package that comes with PSE and Photoshop Elements.
I hope this message will make you look further in the box to see if there is anything else in it.

I am getting a bit concerned about what is happening in your situation. Yesterday you posted your question in at least two different forums, one of them being here in the Premiere Elements Forum.
Don't Have Serial Number for Premiere, Only Photoshop?
Wherever you posted, the reply was to contact Adobe via its Adobe Chat. It is the only one who can sort out this matter for you.
In the thread cited above I offered to help you with the difficulties that you were having visualizing the Adobe Chat in its web page. I was waiting for your follow up on that in the above thread. Instead, I find your same question in a new Adobe Premiere Elements Forum thread this afternoon with no refer the prior threads or prior recommendations given you.
I will also mention again...when you buy the Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements bundled in one packaging and with installation files for each on the same installation disc, each program has its own serial number. The Photoshop Elements serial number does not work for Premiere Elements and vice versa. The serial numbers are on labels on a box which houses the installation disc envelope(s). So, if you purchased both programs and found the Photoshop Elements serial number, then the Premiere Elements serial number should be in a label right underneath the label with the serial number for Photoshop Elements. I recall writing this in your yesterday's thread on this matter.
The moderator will no doubt be along shortly to close or delete this thread. So, just in case, please bookmark your yesterday's thread cited above so that we can continue this communication which is trying to help you.

InDesign Suddenly Not Recognizing Serial Number

I have CS2, which I installed right after I bought the Intel Mac, 3 years ago.
Was able to enter the Photoshop serial number that it wanted at that time, but I have since lost or misplaced the folder that had all my Adobe registration info.
I have the Photoshop disks, the manuals [remember when you actually GOT manuals!], the original boxes, but I can find only ONE serial number, 6.5 upgrade, and the CS2 Install disk doesn't like it.
I have the CS2 serial number.
Here's the problem:
A last week, I had InDesign open and minimized all day while I was dealing with a website issue that took way longer than I thought it would. Forgot all about InDesign. When I tried to shut down at the end of the day, I had to ForceQuit InDesign, but it closed.
The next morning when I tried to open InDesign to continue working, I was presented with the registration page.
I HAVE no serial number just for InDesign except for a previous upgrade [removed by forum moderator] but the InDesign screen doesn't like that at all.
So, I thought I would see if I could re-install it from the original CS2 disks. I put in the first disk and IT wants information! I supplied the serial number but it asks for the serial number of a Photoshop 5.0 or later. I have 5.0, 5.5, and 6.0 - the disks, the manuals, the original boxes, and I entered the ONE serial number I was able to find. It didn't like it.
I've had several Adobe IDs, numerous computer, lots of different email addresses, four or five different physical addresses, and during the past 3+ years have dealt with power outages blowing machines, a flood, and no printer on this Mac. One of my accounts is showing some product registrations, but not all and not a Photoshop 5.0 or beyond. It's showing Elements and Premier, which I purchased afterward for my husband's PC.
Once upon a time, I printed out a record of all the PageMaker, PageMill, and Type purchases, but it's in that mysterious missing "Adobe" folder - the hanging file labeled "Adobe" is empty.
I've entered help desk tickets, but the "resolved" my problem without resolving my problem and haven't responded to my "reopened" ticket.
Now, today, InDesign won't even open at all, even to the registration screen. I do not know what to do.
What can I do? I'm still on Tiger, if that matters at all.
Anyone know. I really need to get into InDesign. Would love to upgrade to CS4, but just cannot afford it right now.

In the middle of cleaning out my Gmail inbox (which was why I didn't respond immediately - way too much "marketing mail" in there). My mind's too muddled right now to make much sense of "techy" stuff, and I'm on a different computer. But I promise, I will give the situation more attention. About the same time that happened, other weird stuff started happening. Haven't pinpointed it. Am on a Mac - guess I felt "too safe".

Is there anything I can do if I don't have a serial number FCStudio 2?

I kind of got burned by a shady dude when I bought his copy of FCS 2, he didn't give me the serial number and he move to frickin California. I have tried to contact him countless times but I think he is just content to have my money and leave me in the lurch. This is a legal version but just know serial number. I feel so dumb for not checking it first and taking him at face value. I don't know what to do. I want to be totally legal and good but I can't swing $1300+ to buy this again. I already dumped five hundred into a pile of useless books and dvds. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In reading your post, I'm assuming the pile of useless books and dvds you're referring to are the various manuals and dvds that comprise the entire FCS2 bundle. One little booklet of only about a dozen pages, titled +Installing Your Software+, should have been included with the set. On the front of it would be a couple of duplicate sticky labels containing the serial number you need.
If that booklet isn't there, or, if it is but the labels have been removed, you might still be okay. It's possible the original owner pasted one or both of the serial # labels somewhere inside one or two different manuals. Check it out & I wish you luck.
