Different Attachment extension(.xls,.txt) in sender mail adapter
Hi Experts
Is it possible to use different type of attachment extension (e.g .xls,.txt) in the sender mail adapter?
My requirement is , the attachment in the mail adapter will be used as the main payload. So I am using PayloadSwapBean adapter module.
Currently I am using the following module key for .xls attachment and it is working.Configuration for .xls attachment is as follows
swap.keyName-Content-Disposition
swap.keyname-Content-Description
swap.keyName-Content-Type
swap.keyValue-attachment;filename="MailAttachment-1.xls"
swap.keyValue-MailAttachment-1
swap.keyValue-application/vnd.ms-excel.
Now, the attachment may be .xls or .txt file.
Now If I want to use .txt atachment then do I need to define all these parameter again and in that case what will be my content type for .txt file.
Your inputs required
thanks
AyanPayloadSwapBean will only convert the attachment as the main payload.
Yeah for reading excel file I have a separate custom adapter module. This is not in the scope of my question..
All I am asking , can .txt as well as .xls attachment be used in the same sender mail adapter.
If that is possible what will be my content-type for .txt or can I remove content-type and use only content-disposition and content-description so that any type of attachment it can recognise.
The momment I am specifying content-type , I am making it particular that only say .xls attachment , it will identify.
I hope I make you clear.Inputs required
Thanks

Why are there 2 different customization directories seen in MDS repository
We are upgrading from 11.5.9 of the applications to 11.5.10. We have noticed that before we apply any personalizations to 11.5.10, there are personalizations already out in the MDS repository in a customizations directory. The customizations directory is in a different location, however, than the customizations directory that is created when we create 11.5.10 personalizations. The already existing personalizations in the MDS repository have a 'customizations' directory that is immediately after the <application name> directory (ie: /oracle/apps/icx/customizations/site/0/por/rcv/webui/IcxPorRcvHomePG). The new personalizations applied to 11.5.10 have a 'customizations' directory that is right after the whole document path (ie: right after webui directory), but before the document name (ie: /oracle/apps/icx/por/rcv/webui/customizations/site/0/IcxPorRcvHomePG).
My 2 guesses as to why these 2 differnt customization directories could exist are:
1) the path to the customizations directory changed from 11.5.9 to 11.5.10 and the one with the customizations directory immediately after the <application name> directory is the path to old personalizations from 11.5.9
OR
2) Oracle puts their own customizations in and the Oracle customizations are found in the path where the customizations directory is immediately after the <application name> directory.
Can someone please enlighten me as to why there are 2 different paths to customization documents?
Thank you,
Paula JerniganPaula,
I am assuming by directory you are talking about the path in MDS.
I am pretty sure I have read that the path for customizations did change. We are using 11.5.10 so I cant be sure.

Using SQLJ 8.1.6 translator with no customization
SQLJ is very interesting because of the possibility of interop AND including vendor customizations. However, it seems that, except for Oracle Corp, no one has written a customizer. IBM, Sybase, and Informix all claim to support SQLJ, but, as far as I can see, they are all using the reference implementation and only Oracle has provided extensions and a customizer!
I'm trying to use generic code as a proof of concept, and add in the Oracle enhancements in "stage 2".
According to the Oracle SQLJ programmer's guide, the OraCustomerizer class is used as the default. This requires that OraCustomizer class and JDBC driver is needed to deploy on any platform when using a customized .ser file.
Four questions:
1. Is it possible to turn off the customizer (-P-customizer=NULL for example ?) and still use the 8.1.6 translator? The only alternative is to revert to the reference impl. translator.
2. Why is Oracle JDBC driver required if Oracle customizations are present in .ser file? I can see the need for OraCustomizer, but why the driver?
3. If deploying an app with an .ser file that includes Oracle customization on, for example, a DB2 system, what is the most lightweight way to include OraCustomizer and JDBC? Currently, I'm appending both entire .jar files to the end of the classpath.
4. Is anyone else writing a customizer other than the 3 that are included in 8.1.6?
BTW, the programmer's guide (and the SQLJ concept) is excellent! I'm looking forward to the enhancements in 8i version 3.
Thanks in advance,
Bob Beauchemin

null1. Yes, you can turn off profile customization, or set a different default profile customizer.
-profile=false - turns off customization
-default-customizer=classname -sets the default customizer. If classname is empty this in fact turns off customization.
2. If an Oracle customization exists, and the statement is executed on an Oracle connection then we enable Oracle-specific types and other enhancements. We use Java reflection to link to particular Oracle JDBC driver present.
If the connection is not an Oracle connection, then we just use the JDBC-generic runtime.
The OracleCustomization of the .ser file adds information to the existing profile. I do not believe that this information uses Oracle JDBC-driver-specific classes (I have not verified this, though). Thus you should not need an Oracle JDBC driver in your application, even if you performed the Oracle customization.
3. You could create an application that is customized for all target platforms (customizations are additive) and distribute it as-is.
Alternatively, you can create the application without customization and then individually customize for each platform. This will be more work but your application (that is, your .ser files) should be slightly smaller.
4. IBM and Informix provide versions of SQLJ, AFAIK. I do not know if Informix has a customizer. (IBM does, as you have discovered.)
5. The next release of Oracle SQLJ (8.1.7) will support the SQLJ ISO standard, which is based on JDBC 2.0. This results in an incompatibility between SQLJ customizers/customizations from the ANSI specification (such as the current Oracle and IBM customizers) and from ISO. Thus, if you want to plug and play customizers you may be restricted to using SQLJ 8.1.6 for the time being. -
I have several computers throughout my house and work, but mainly use my "Desktop-MAIN. " I frequently add different add-ons, scripts, extensions, etc. as the need for one arises. When the time comes that I am using my laptop in bed, or my sons computer in the den (whatever) I find that they are missing many of the cute doodads I have become accustomed to on MY desktop computer. In Firefox I used FEBE backup, which would backup EVERYTHING, including extensions, add-ons, etc. I just had to take it to my other computers and run FEBE, import the backup file and "whala!" My browser had all of the add-ons and things that my main computer had - w/o having to manually add each one.
Just connect the new iPod to your computer and setup the iPod via iTunes (instead of via wifi).

I want to backup my email messages and archives. I intend to them put into my 'Documents' folder for 'Cloud' backup and also into an external hard drive which I have always used in the past and, as a 76 year old with a new computer, 8.1 in place of XP and TB instead of Outlook Express, I just feel more confident about my external hard drive! I have TB 31 and Windows 8.1. I have set my computer to show 'hidden files and folders'. In username/AppData/Local there is a TB folder with 'Profiles' and it has my XXXX.default folder - but it only has a limited number of files and folders (Cache/cache2....). In username/AppData/Roaming there is also a TB folder with 'Profiles' and it has my same XXXX.default folder - but this contains a completely different and far more extensive collection of files and folders (4 different folders plus several MAB and SQLITE files and others). Why do I have two identical default folders with different contents? Do I have to save both of them? Can someone please explain/help, preferably in words that this 76 year old might understand.
Thanks Matt. Reassuring to this elderly user! I'll make sure I back up my Profiles xxxx.default folder from the Windows Roaming directory - but should I back up the (different!) TB contents from the TB Profiles directory in Windows Local as well?

I downloaded some extensions and they are placed in the ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEPServiceManager4/extensions: see the figure:
but when I go to PS CC2014 and click on Extensions this is what I get:
If I go back to the Extension Manager it says they are installed and do I want to delete them and reinstall. I tried that but nothing happened.
Can someone help?
Tanya
2013 iMac 27" with 16GB and 1 TB drive
using Mtn Lion1. CC 2014 uses different folder for CEP extensions. If you installed both CC apps and CC 2014 apps, Extension Manager CC will install CEP extensoins to both "~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEPServiceManager4/extensions" and "~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions". Please check if you can find your extensions in the latter folder.
2. Flash based extensions are no longer supported by PS CC 2014. So if some of your extensions are Flash based, even if they are installed to the folder above, PS CC 2014 will not load them. You have to install their HTML based counterparts. Refer to

Problems uploading images with uppercase (.JPG) file extension.
I am using coldfusion 8 and have no problems uploading an image using CFFile when the image has a lowercase file extensions such as .jpg however if the same file has a Uppercase file extension .JPG coldfusion hangs and then just times out. The files are exactly the same just different cases in the extensions.
Any idea?
My cffile is set as such <cffile accept="image/*" action="upload" destination="#uploadfolder2#" filefield="profilePictureFileBrowser" nameconflict="makeunique" >
I tried changing the accept property to image/*, image/jpg, image/JPG but that did not fix the problem eitherThanks for the quick reply. So I removed the tag and even though I get an error after submitting the form it appears to not hang anyways. Any idea how to fix this?
I am on a windows 2003 server so cases sensitifity should not be a problem. I am perplexed as to why this would work with lowercase extensions an not upper? -
Query regarding identification of Customizations done in Oracle Apps
Hi,
I am from an IT personnel from a banking industry.
Here we are using Oracle Apps (CU1) that too on Oracle 9i. In order to go ahead with
migration of Oracle to 10g we need to migrate the application from CU1 to CU2.
But before we go with this migration, at first place we need to identify what all
customizations have been done in CU1. The application is operational in our bank since 7-8
years, somewhere we have lost the tracking sheet of the customizations done earlier.
Please help out if there is anyway (tools, script, etc) to find what all customizations
have been done in the product.
Thanks & Regards,
Abhinov Asthana
MumbaiSorry - incorrect answer :-)
CUSTOM.pll does not capture ALL of the customizations/extensions that may be present.
As stated before, currently there is no tool or query that will give you this info - it can only be captured thru good documentation practices.

How to Define Multiple Notification Rules for Different E-Mail Channels?
In C4C we can define a notification rule for New tickets, for example, that provides an acknowledgement of receiving the customer's e-mail.
This works great for a single support team, but what if we have multiple support teams, each with their own e-mail address, and each with unique requirements for their auto-acknowledgement?
When setting up a new notification rule, there doesn't appear to be any option to define the e-mail channel, service and support team value, or a "from" e-mail address.
We're on-boarding over a dozen e-mail teams, and I'd hate to tell them that they'll all have to share one auto-acknowledgement template from a single do-not-reply address.
Does anyone know if this is possible to:
Define the e-mail channel or service and support team as an condition in the notification rules.
Define the outgoing "from" e-mail address for a notification rule.
Thanks for any insight the community might have!
Mike
T-Mobile USAHi Mike,
As of release 1402, your analysis is correct. The out-of-the-box notification rules do not include the "incoming email channel" as one of fields on which to build condition, and all notifications are sent from a common do-not-reply address.
You can easily overcome the first limitation by using the SDK. For example, when the ticket is created you could set an extension field based on the email channel, and then use the extension field to define different notification rules, using different templates. All extension fields are automatically available to be used as conditions.
Thank you for your feedback and for bringing this item to our attention. We will definitely keep this in mind as we plan for future releases.
Kind regards,

Why customize application exception this way?
hi
i found too different ways to customize a same application exception
they actually work the same way but with a little difference that i can not figure out why
the first one is
public class BaseAppException extends Exception {
static final long serialVersionUID = -5829545098534135052L;
* the message of the BaseAppException.
private String exceptionMessage;
* A public constructor for BaseAppException containing no arguments.
public BaseAppException() {
* A public constructor for BaseAppException specifying exception message.
* <p>
* @param msg
* exception message.
public BaseAppException(String msg) {
this.exceptionMessage = msg;
}it uses a private member "exceptionMessage" to store the exception message
and here is the second piece of code
public class BaseAppException extends Exception {
static final long serialVersionUID = -5829545098534135052L;
* A public constructor for BaseAppException containing no arguments.
public BaseAppException() {
* A public constructor for BaseAppException specifying exception message.
* <p>
* @param msg
* exception message.
public BaseAppException(String msg) {
super(msg);
// this.exceptionMessage = msg;
}this one passes the message to the base throwable
both works but i am wondering why define a private string memeber for message storing and not pass it to the base throwable??I'm not sure what you're trying to do here, but at
first glance "TestK t = new TestK();" inside the for
loop seemed unusual.
If you place it before the loop it works fine.I guess what he is trying to ask is that why is that if you use the new operator in the code, you donot get the exception while if you dont use it you do get one. While in any case either you use it or not you are supposed to get a new String as per the String API.
Well thats an interesting observation and I have no explanation as to why is this happening. I do remember that thread where somebody pointed this out as a use of the String(String original) construtor. Furtehr adding on to that the API states about this constructor the following
Initializes a newly created String object so that it represents the same sequence of characters as the argument; in other words, the newly created string is a copy of the argument string.
so I donot get why not using it would cause the exception to be thrown. I have tested the code though and it seems to behave as pointed in the original post.
Interesting question though, food for thought. -
Hi all,
All my bsod's and ctd's while gaming have vanished since I changed my memory from Kingston to Infineon (See earlier threads about this). Needless to say I am happy as a pig in the mud with this.
Since my mem-sticks performed so well, not at spectacular timings but anyway, I decided to add a 3rd 512 m stick to it. From earlier posts I knew it was pushing it, but wanted to try it anyway
Much to my suprise, the rig is rock-solid with 1.5 gig mem, but when I right-click "My Computer" on my desktop it has added a sentence to "computer".
Besides the right processor, the right bus-speed and the right amount of mem, it now also says "physical address extension"
Anyone what this means and if it is good or bad
Thanks"Physical Address Extension" recently appeared in my own computer listing as well. My guess is that this was turned on in your system not when you added your new memory stick, but rather when you installed SP2. Did you do these two things around the same time?
I don't understand Physical Address Extension very well, but my understanding is that it is a particular method by which XP addresses your memory. Before SP2, I believe it would only have been turned on if your computer had more than 4GB of RAM. However, after installing SP2, I think it gets turned on by default because it is required for optimal operation of the new DEP (Data Execution Prevention) feature in SP2. In other words, XP needs to address RAM differently (using Physical Address Extension) in order for DEP to work optimally and take full advantage of the A64's "No Execute" feature (finally!).
You can get more information from the horse's mouth.
I regards to XP's DEP and the A64's NX feature, although SP2 has essentially "enabled" them, the default setting is not the highest security possible, so you may or may not wish to change this. I'm not sure how well DEP+NX works, as I have no means of positively testing it, but I have yet to experience any errors as a result of increasing DEP security on my own machine. See my post in this thread for more details. -
CS target version with Extension Builder 2
In version 1.5 I could select both CS5 and CS5.5 as targets for my extension, now ( version 2) I can only select one version.
Does this means that by selecting CS6 I can deploy for 5, 5.5. and 6 with the same build or do I need to deploy 3 different versions of my extension ?
Trying to make sure it will be compatible with all 3, is it the best solution just to code and build for version 5 ?
Thanks and sorry for all the confussion, the update to 4.6 and extension 2 is taking a lot of time to make my previous work compatible.Making the CSAW libs 4.5 only was a huge mistake in my book! (I can't believe I missed that in prerelease.)
That's a giant step backwards, and I'm not going to be using CS6 CSAW libs anytime in the near future. Backwards compatibility is way too important, and multiple projects is a horrible way to work...

I'm getting "Init: SSL call to NZ function nzos_OpenWallet failed with error 29248" error in log file HTTP_Server~1 while starting OHS (using opmnctl startall).
I created a Wallet with auto login option checked. I was able to create certificate Request and got a certificate from verisign (14 days Validity). I imported Root certificate and intermediate certificate from verisign into the wallet and then successfully imported the trial certificate. ## httpd.conf -- Apache HTTP server configuration file
# Based upon the NCSA server configuration files originally by Rob McCool.
# This is the main Apache server configuration file. It contains the
# configuration directives that give the server its instructions.
# See <URL:http://www.apache.org/docs/> for detailed information about
# the directives.
# Do NOT simply read the instructions in here without understanding
# what they do. They're here only as hints or reminders. If you are unsure
# consult the online docs. You have been warned.
# After this file is processed, the server will look for and process
# D:\product\10.1.3\OracleAS_1\Apache\Apache/conf/srm.conf and then D:\product\10.1.3\OracleAS_1\Apache\Apache/conf/access.conf
# unless you have overridden these with ResourceConfig and/or
# AccessConfig directives here.
# The configuration directives are grouped into three basic sections:
# 1. Directives that control the operation of the Apache server process as a
# whole (the 'global environment').
# 2. Directives that define the parameters of the 'main' or 'default' server,
# which responds to requests that aren't handled by a virtual host.
# These directives also provide default values for the settings
# of all virtual hosts.
# 3. Settings for virtual hosts, which allow Web requests to be sent to
# different IP addresses or hostnames and have them handled by the
# same Apache server process.
# Configuration and logfile names: If the filenames you specify for many
# of the server's control files begin with "/" (or "drive:/" for Win32), the
# server will use that explicit path. If the filenames do not begin
# with "/", the value of ServerRoot is prepended -- so "logs/foo.log"
# with ServerRoot set to "D:\product\10.1.3\OracleAS_1\Apache\Apache" will be interpreted by the
# server as "D:\product\10.1.3\OracleAS_1\Apache\Apache/logs/foo.log".
# NOTE: Where filenames are specified, you must use forward slashes
# instead of backslashes (e.g., "c:/apache" instead of "c:\apache").
# If a drive letter is omitted, the drive on which Apache.exe is located
# will be used by default. It is recommended that you always supply
# an explicit drive letter in absolute paths, however, to avoid
# confusion.
### Section 1: Global Environment
# The directives in this section affect the overall operation of Apache,
# such as the number of concurrent requests it can handle or where it
# can find its configuration files.
# ServerType is either inetd, or standalone. Inetd mode is only supported on
# Unix platforms.
ServerType standalone
# ServerRoot: The top of the directory tree under which the server's
# configuration, error, and log files are kept.
# Do NOT add a slash at the end of the directory path.
ServerRoot "D:\product\10.1.3\OracleAS_1\Apache\Apache"
# PidFile: The file in which the server should record its process
# identification number when it starts.
PidFile logs/httpd.pid
# ScoreBoardFile: File used to store internal server process information.
# Not all architectures require this. But if yours does (you'll know because
# this file will be created when you run Apache) then you must ensure that
# no two invocations of Apache share the same scoreboard file.
ScoreBoardFile logs/httpd.scoreboard
# In the standard configuration, the server will process httpd.conf (this
# file, specified by the -f command line option), srm.conf, and access.conf
# in that order. The latter two files are now distributed empty, as it is
# recommended that all directives be kept in a single file for simplicity.
# The commented-out values below are the built-in defaults. You can have the
# server ignore these files altogether by using "/dev/null" (for Unix) or
# "nul" (for Win32) for the arguments to the directives.
#ResourceConfig conf/srm.conf
#AccessConfig conf/access.conf
# Timeout: The number of seconds before receives and sends time out.
Timeout 300
# SendBufferSize: controls setsockopt() call made to set send buffer size on
# all sockets. Default OS value on most Windows platforms is too small.
# Larger values can help if the average page size served by OHS is
# large (~64 k)
SendBufferSize 16384
# KeepAlive: Whether or not to allow persistent connections (more than
# one request per connection). Set to "Off" to deactivate.
KeepAlive On
# MaxKeepAliveRequests: The maximum number of requests to allow
# during a persistent connection. Set to 0 to allow an unlimited amount.
# We recommend you leave this number high, for maximum performance.
MaxKeepAliveRequests 100
# KeepAliveTimeout: Number of seconds to wait for the next request from the
# same client on the same connection.
KeepAliveTimeout 15
# Apache on Win32 always creates one child process to handle requests. If it
# dies, another child process is created automatically. Within the child
# process multiple threads handle incoming requests. The next two
# directives control the behaviour of the threads and processes.
# MaxRequestsPerChild: the number of requests each child process is
# allowed to process before the child dies. The child will exit so
# as to avoid problems after prolonged use when Apache (and maybe the
# libraries it uses) leak memory or other resources. On most systems, this
# isn't really needed, but a few (such as Solaris) do have notable leaks
# in the libraries. For Win32, set this value to zero (unlimited)
# unless advised otherwise.
# NOTE: This value does not include keepalive requests after the initial
# request per connection. For example, if a child process handles
# an initial request and 10 subsequent "keptalive" requests, it
# would only count as 1 request towards this limit.
MaxRequestsPerChild 0
# Number of concurrent threads (i.e., requests) the server will allow.
# Set this value according to the responsiveness of the server (more
# requests active at once means they're all handled more slowly) and
# the amount of system resources you'll allow the server to consume.
ThreadsPerChild 50
# Server-pool size regulation. Rather than making you guess how many
# server processes you need, Apache dynamically adapts to the load it
# sees --- that is, it tries to maintain enough server processes to
# handle the current load, plus a few spare servers to handle transient
# load spikes (e.g., multiple simultaneous requests from a single
# Netscape browser).
# It does this by periodically checking how many servers are waiting
# for a request. If there are fewer than MinSpareServers, it creates
# a new spare. If there are more than MaxSpareServers, some of the
# spares die off. The default values are probably OK for most sites.
#MinSpareServers 5
#MaxSpareServers 20
# Limit on total number of servers running, i.e., limit on the number
# of clients who can simultaneously connect --- if this limit is ever
# reached, clients will be LOCKED OUT, so it should NOT BE SET TOO LOW.

# the system with it as it spirals down...
#MaxClients 150

# Dynamic Shared Object (DSO) Support
# To be able to use the functionality of a module which was built as a DSO you

### Section 2: 'Main' server configuration
# The directives in this section set up the values used by the 'main'
# server, which responds to any requests that aren't handled by a
# <VirtualHost> definition. These values also provide defaults for
# any <VirtualHost> containers you may define later in the file.
# All of these directives may appear inside <VirtualHost> containers,
# in which case these default settings will be overridden for the
# virtual host being defined.
# Port: The port to which the standalone server listens. Certain firewall
# products must be configured before Apache can listen to a specific port.
# Other running httpd servers will also interfere with this port. Disable
# all firewall, security, and other services if you encounter problems.
# To help diagnose problems use the Windows NT command NETSTAT -a
Port 7777

# ServerAdmin: Your address, where problems with the server should be
# e-mailed. This address appears on some server-generated pages, such
# as error documents.
ServerAdmin [email protected]
# ServerName allows you to set a host name which is sent back to clients for
# your server if it's different than the one the program would get (i.e., use
# "www" instead of the host's real name).
# Note: You cannot just invent host names and hope they work. The name you
# define here must be a valid DNS name for your host. If you don't understand
# this, ask your network administrator.
# If your host doesn't have a registered DNS name, enter its IP address here.
# You will have to access it by its address (e.g., http://123.45.67.89/)
# anyway, and this will make redirections work in a sensible way.
# 127.0.0.1 is the TCP/IP local loop-back address, often named localhost. Your
# machine always knows itself by this address. If you use Apache strictly for
# local testing and development, you may use 127.0.0.1 as the server name.

# Apache parses all CGI scripts for the shebang line by default.
# This comment line, the first line of the script, consists of the symbols
# pound (#) and exclamation (!) followed by the path of the program that
# can execute this specific script. For a perl script, with perl.exe in
# the C:\Program Files\Perl directory, the shebang line should be:
#!c:/program files/perl/perl
# Note you mustnot_ indent the actual shebang line, and it must be the
# first line of the file. Of course, CGI processing must be enabled by
# the appropriate ScriptAlias or Options ExecCGI directives for the files
# or directory in question.
# However, Apache on Windows allows either the Unix behavior above, or can
# use the Registry to match files by extention. The command to execute
# a file of this type is retrieved from the registry by the same method as
# the Windows Explorer would use to handle double-clicking on a file.
# These script actions can be configured from the Windows Explorer View menu,
# 'Folder Options', and reviewing the 'File Types' tab. Clicking the Edit
# button allows you to modify the Actions, of which Apache 1.3 attempts to
# perform the 'Open' Action, and failing that it will try the shebang line.
# This behavior is subject to change in Apache release 2.0.
# Each mechanism has it's own specific security weaknesses, from the means

# Set various options for the SSL engine.
# o FakeBasicAuth:
# Translate the client X.509 into a Basic Authorisation. This means that
# the standard Auth/DBMAuth methods can be used for access control. The
# user name is the `one line' version of the client's X.509 certificate.
# Note that no password is obtained from the user. Every entry in the user
# file needs this password: `xxj31ZMTZzkVA'.
# o ExportCertData:
# This exports two additional environment variables: SSL_CLIENT_CERT and
# SSL_SERVER_CERT. These contain the PEM-encoded certificates of the
# server (always existing) and the client (only existing when client
# authentication is used). This can be used to import the certificates
# into CGI scripts.
# o StdEnvVars:
# This exports the standard SSL/TLS related `SSL_*' environment variables.
# Per default this exportation is switched off for performance reasons,
# because the extraction step is an expensive operation and is usually
# useless for serving static content. So one usually enables the
# exportation for CGI and SSI requests only.
# o CompatEnvVars:
# This exports obsolete environment variables for backward compatibility
# to Apache-SSL 1.x, mod_ssl 2.0.x, Sioux 1.0 and Stronghold 2.x. Use this
# to provide compatibility to existing CGI scripts.
# o StrictRequire:
# This denies access when "SSLRequireSSL" or "SSLRequire" applied even
# under a "Satisfy any" situation, i.e. when it applies access is denied
# and no other module can change it.
# o OptRenegotiate:
# This enables optimized SSL connection renegotiation handling when SSL
# directives are used in per-directory context.

Please help me rectifying this error.
Thanks a lot in advance.Hi,
Found a note explaining the significance of these errors.
It says:
"NZE-28862: SSL connection failed
Cause: This error occurred because the peer closed the connection.
Action: Enable Oracle Net tracing on both sides and examine the trace output. Contact Oracle Customer support with the trace output."
For further details you may refer the Note: 244527.1 - Explanation of "SSL call to NZ function nzos_Handshake failed" error codes

Problem With httpd.conf and mod_rewrite rules Apache 2.2
I have some RewriteRules that are working on my Leopard Client Apache 2.2 machine - but when I try to implement them on Leopard Server Apache 2.2, they don't work. I don't get any errors, they just won't execute.
Could somebody with Leopard Server help me out using the below info?
Here are the rules I am trying to add: (below is the httpd.conf file)

=========HTTPD.CONF=============
#### Default httpd.conf for Mac OS X Server, Apache 2.2
#### This httpd.conf differs from the httpd.conf distributed
#### with Apache and the httpd.conf present on Mac OS X.
#### Feel free to edit this; the Server Admin app also edits this file but will
#### respect your changes unless noted below. See also ReadMe.txt.
## ServerRoot: The top of the directory tree under which the server's
## configuration, error, and log files are kept.
## NOTE! If you intend to place this on an NFS (or otherwise network)
## mounted filesystem then please read the LockFile documentation
## (available at <URL:<a class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://">http://www.apache.org/docs/mod/core.html#lockfile>);
## you will save yourself a lot of trouble.
## Do NOT add a slash at the end of the directory path.
ServerRoot "/usr"
## PidFile: The file in which the server should record its process
## identification number when it starts.
PidFile /var/run/httpd.pid
## ScoreBoardFile: File used to store internal server process information.
## Not all architectures require this. But if yours does (you'll know because
## this file will be created when you run Apache) then you must ensure that
## no two invocations of Apache share the same scoreboard file.
#ScoreBoardFile "/var/run/apache2runtimestatus"
## Server-pool size regulation. Rather than making you guess how many
## server processes you need, Apache dynamically adapts to the load it
## sees --- that is, it tries to maintain enough server processes to
## handle the current load, plus a few spare servers to handle transient
## load spikes (e.g., multiple simultaneous requests from a single
## Netscape browser).
## It does this by periodically checking how many servers are waiting
## for a request. If there are fewer than MinSpareServers, it creates
## a new spare. If there are more than MaxSpareServers, some of the
## spares die off. The default values are probably OK for most sites.
MinSpareServers 1
MaxSpareServers 1
## Number of servers to start initially --- should be a reasonable ballpark
## figure.
StartServers 1
## MaxRequestsPerChild: the number of requests each child process is
## allowed to process before the child dies. The child will exit so
## as to avoid problems after prolonged use when Apache (and maybe the
## libraries it uses) leak memory or other resources. On most systems, this
## isn't really needed, but a few (such as Solaris) do have notable leaks
## in the libraries. For these platforms, set to something like 10000
## or so; a setting of 0 means unlimited.
## NOTE: This value does not include keepalive requests after the initial
## request per connection. For example, if a child process handles
## an initial request and 10 subsequent "keptalive" requests, it
## would only count as 1 request towards this limit.
MaxRequestsPerChild 100000
## Dynamic Shared Object (DSO) Support
## To be able to use the functionality of a module which was built as a DSO you
## have to place corresponding `LoadModule' lines at this location so the
## directives contained in it are actually available before they are used.
## Please read the file http://httpd.apache.org/docs/dso.html for more
## details about the DSO mechanism and run `httpd -l' for the list of already
## built-in (statically linked and thus always available) modules in your httpd
## binary.
## Note: The order in which modules are loaded is important. Don't change
## the order below without expert advice.
## Example:
## LoadModule foo_module libexec/mod_foo.so
#### For Mac OS X Server: Note that the Server Admin application
#### and the apxs utility enable and disable modules
#### by removing and adding a comment character.

# Settings for hosting different languages.
# Required modules: mod_mime, mod_negotiation
# DefaultLanguage and AddLanguage allows you to specify the language of
# a document. You can then use content negotiation to give a browser a
# file in a language the user can understand.
# Specify a default language. This means that all data
# going out without a specific language tag (see below) will
# be marked with this one. You probably do NOT want to set
# this unless you are sure it is correct for all cases.
# * It is generally better to not mark a page as
# * being a certain language than marking it with the wrong
# * language!
# DefaultLanguage nl
# Note 1: The suffix does not have to be the same as the language
# keyword --- those with documents in Polish (whose net-standard
# language code is pl) may wish to use "AddLanguage pl .po" to
# avoid the ambiguity with the common suffix for perl scripts.
# Note 2: The example entries below illustrate that in some cases
# the two character 'Language' abbreviation is not identical to
# the two character 'Country' code for its country,
# E.g. 'Danmark/dk' versus 'Danish/da'.
# Note 3: In the case of 'ltz' we violate the RFC by using a three char
# specifier. There is 'work in progress' to fix this and get
# the reference data for rfc1766 cleaned up.

========HTTPD.CONF==========I am modifying the correct httpd.conf file on the server, it just doesn't seem to work. - If I put the rewrite rules in the <Directory /> the rewrite works but it adds /Library/WebServer/Documents to the URL.
I also tried putting the rewrite rules in <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> but that did not work either.
mod_rewrite is enabled and running on the server.
I will post the rewrite rules again in the code brackets. Sorry for the long post. - If some one can try them out on their Leopard Server to see if they can get them to work, it would be much appreciated. Again, these work on my Leopard Client but I can't get them to work on Server.
-- The httpd.conf file posted above is just the default conf file found in /private/etc/apache2/
