  • Message# AA649 In area 01, you can only post manual dep. up to the amount

    hi friends
when i do the transaction in ABAA ,it went error said that In area 01, you can only post manual dep. up to the amount  0
i had select allowed all value in unplan depreciation ,and why the detail message said the The asset does not have any net book value; in this case, you should check the transaction as described above.
    Asset affected: 000025100073-0000
    Diagnosis
This posting cannot be performed, since manual depreciation can only be posted in the amount of            0.00 in area 01.
    Procedure
Check the transaction type entered, or change the posting amount.
Caution:  If the amount concerned is 0, this could be the result of two situations:
    1. The asset does not have any net book value; in this case, you should check the transaction as described above.
    2. The asset has a depreciation key with automatic depreciation calculation. However, if you want to include depreciation in addition to the automatically calculated depreciation, it has to be unplanned depreciation.
Otherwise, you should use a depreciation key that does not calculate automatic depreciation (SAP-supplied key: MANU).
    thanks

    Hi,
    1)  Transaction type 640 normally is a previous year transaction type. My suggestion is that you have no values from previous years.
You use the transaction type 640.
Please check if it works with transaction type 650.
Check the setting from the transaction types:
    Table TABW (SE16)
    =================
    Trans. Type........Trans.Type grp.
    640.........................64
    650.........................65
    Table TABWG
    ==============
    Trans.Type grp. ...........Curr.-yr.acq. transaction
    64
    65..................................................X
The difference between this 2 transaction types 640 and 650 is the sign TABWG-XZUGNE (Current-year acquisition transaction) in the transaction type group.
    2. Please see the text passage from 13221 point 2:
    2.  An incorrect depreciation key is used. Manual depreciation and
automatic calculation of the same depreciation type are mutually
        exclusive.
If another depreciation must be set in addition to the automatically
calculated depreciation, there has probably been an unplanned
        depreciation.
If the asset should have only manual depreciation, please use
another depreciation key, for example, 'MANU'.     ..."

  • Could anyone provide the complete manual of SAP Query Creation

    Hi,
Now I am learning to create SAP Query.
I viewed many questions and answers about SAP Query.
Some mentioned this, and some did that...
Could anyone provide a complete manual of SAP Query Creation for developers.
I can create SAP Queries step by step with it.

Step-by-step guide for creating ABAP query
    http://www.sappoint.com/abap/ab4query.pdf
ABAP query is mostly used by functional consultants.
    SAP Query
    Purpose
The SAP Query application is used to create lists not already contained in the SAP standard system. It has been designed for users with little or no knowledge of the SAP programming language ABAP. SAP Query offers users a broad range of ways to define reporting programs and create different types of reports such as basic lists, statistics, and ranked lists.
    Features
SAP Query's range of functions corresponds to the classical reporting functions available in the system. Requirements in this area such as list, statistic, or ranked list creation can be met using queries.
All the data required by users for their lists can be selected from any SAP table created by the customer.
To define a report, you first have to enter individual texts, such as titles, and select the fields and options which determine the report layout. Then you can edit list display in WYSIWYG mode whenever you want using drag and drop and the other toolbox functions available.
ABAP Query, as far as I Believe, is the use of select statements in the ABAP Programming. This needs a knowledge of Open SQL commands like Select,UPdtae, Modify etc. This has to be done only by someone who has a little bit of ABAP experience.
To sum up, SAP queries are readymade programs given by SAP, which the user can use making slight modification like the slection texts, the tables from which the data is to be retrieved and the format in which the data is to be displayed.ABAP queries become imperative when there is no such SAP query existing and also when there is a lot of customizing involved to use a SAP Query directly
    use either SQ02 ans SQ01
    or SQVI tr code

  • Spanish Manual for SAP GRC AC 5.3

    Hello,
I want to know if someone has an spanish manual for SAP GRC AC 5.3 for the 4 modules (RAR, SPM, CUP & ERM).
Or if someone knows a link to get them. I need them.
    Thank you in advance.
    Best Regards.
    Pablo mortera.

    Hi Pablo,
In 5.3 we can use the SPM by two different ways.
    1. FFID based: In this you make a user as a FFID and then you use this FFID to perform all the actions.
User based roles are for the above.
    3. Role based: In this you assign the roles(maintained in SPM) to the user.
Role based roles are for above.
The basic diffeence is in first one you use user (FFID) to perform the activities whereas in second you use role (which are maintained in SPM).
You can get more details of this in user guide and configuration guide.

  • Different languages without using SAP authentication

    Hi folks,
is it possible to leverage the language capabilities of BW in WebI through an Universe WITHOUT using SAP authentication (means having a fixed user in the underlaying BW connection and NOT SSO)??
We are facing this requirement in a POC having Cognos as oponent and they can do this!
    Thanks and regards,
    Harald

    Hi Sebastian,
yes I know, but this is then fix per connection. What I want is having one universe with one connection, BUT still leveraging the different language-texts from SAP BW... Is this possible or not? Until now I only see the possibility to create one universe for each language and this is not satisfiying the customer...

  • What are the different functions used in sap script?

    Hi,
What are the different functions used in sap script? What are the parameters used in each Function?
    Regards,
    Mahesh

he print program is used to print forms. The program retieves the necesary data from datbase tables, defines the order of in which text elements are printed, chooses a form for printing and selects an output device and print options.
    Function modules in a printprogram:
When you print a form you must used the staments OPEN_FORM and CLOSE_FORM. To combine forms into a single spool request use START_FORM and END_FORM.
To print textelements in a form use WRITE_FORM. The order in which the textelements are printed, is determined by the order of the WRITE_FORM statements. Note: for printing lines in the body, you can also use the WRITE_FORM_LINES function module.
To transfer control command to a form use CONTROL_FORM.
    Structure of a print program
    Read data
    Tables: xxx.
    SELECT *
    FROM xxx.
Open form printing - Must be called before working with any of the other form function modules.
Must be ended with function module CLOSE FORM

To begin several indentical forms containing different data within a single spool request, begin each form using START_FORM, and end it using END_FORM
    call funtion 'START_FORM'.....
Write text elements to a window of the form

    Hi Nanie,
Could you pls try the below steps?
step1: change your rule collection based on Groups.. like, if group1 then portal desktop  is desktop1
if group2 then portal desktop is desktop2.
setp2: assign company one users to group1 and company2 users to group2.
step3: for desktop1, use the first theme.
for desktop2, use the second theme.
    Thanks,

  • How to exclude the manually create SAP PO from MRP Run?

    Dear all
There is this situation that due to the long procurement lead time, certain PO is created manually in SAP in advance based on the sales order enquiry made by customer. (In normal case, we will create a sales order in SAP and then run MRP to create PR to converted to PO)
Most of the time, customer will confirm their enquiry so that we can create sales Order in SAP and this will make it just in time for our raw material to arrive. However, when the PO is created in advance without triggered by MRP caused by Sales Order, this PO booked quantity is often taken up by the consideration of MRP RUN by other sales order. And if later customer confirms their enquiry and there is no PO stock for this due to this stock is already considered by other sales order.
Is there a way that I can exclude the manually create SAP PO from MRP Run?
    Please advise.

    Dear Csaba Szommer
    Thanks for your reply.
    Sorry for confusing you.
    1. We are in a MAKE TO ORDER (MTO) environment.
    2. There is this situation that due to the long procurement lead time, certain PO is created manually in SAP in advance based on
the sales order enquiry made by customer. (In normal case, we will create a sales order in SAP and then run MRP to create
        PR to converted to PO).
    3. Most of the time, customer ABCwill confirm their enquiry so that we can create sales Order in SAP and this will make it just in
time for our raw material to arrive.
    4. However, for the PO that is created in advance (not created by PR  triggered by MRP caused by Sales Order), this PO
On Order Quantity is often taken up by the consideration of MRP RUN by other sales orders.
    5. It creates problem that if later this customer ABC confirms his enquiry and we create SAP Sales Order in the system, the
stock of PO created previously is already  eaten up by other sales orders.
We are using MTO and do not use Forecast. And MTO Strategy is set at the material master level and as such I do not think we can simply modify the MRP Strategy to suit this unique case, as for the very same material, in one PO it should be considered by MRP but in another PO, it should be excluded from MRP Run.
Is there a way that I can exclude the manually create SAP PO (for the case of Customer ABC email enquiry without creating Sales Order in the System first) from MRP Run?

  • "conect" 2 different companies that use SAP

    hi all!
    My question is:
We have 2 different companies that use SAP. Is there a way to "conect" both companies, so that company A gets information than company B has.
For example inventory levels from B, so that A can replenish when B has certain level?
    Thanks a lot!

    Hi Mflores,
If you implement BW the you can get complete information n number of companies.

  • Asset Activation with different values in dep. areas via CJ88

    Hi,
I would like to activate an asset via CJ88 from an AuC.
The challenge is that I would like to activate different values in different depreciaton areas.
I have seen that the AuC uses transaction types 338/339 for the transfer posting. In this transactions types it is possible to choose transactions types for the transer posting for the new asset which is currently 331/336. What I have done is that I copied 331/336 to Z31/Z36 and adapted them so that its possible to chosse the values for the different dep. areas. I also replaced 331/336 in the types 338/339.
But when I run CJ88, it still takes 331/336....
Any idea? Is my approach possible? Any other Idea?
    Thanks and best regards,
    Sebastian

    Hi Sebastian
Assume you want to settle 100 to Dep Area 01 and 120 to Area 15
During initial settlement, let the system settle 100 to both using 331/336
You make a copy of them and limit the Z trans type to Dep Area 15 alone.. Then post 20 USD to Dep Area 15 using ABSO

  • Calucalation of depreciatio using two different percentages and dep areas

    Hi experts,
I have a doubt on the following scenario
As per requirement of my client 10% SLM maintain for Machinery and at the same time 20% maintain depreciation for the same asset for special tax depreciation purpose in same year, is it possible? Then please suggest how can i configure these scenario.
    Thanks & Regards,
    vinod

    Hi Vinod,
Find below the steps to configure for the scenario -
    1. Define 2 Depreciation Areas -
            a) Book Depreciation
            b) Special tax Depreciation
2.Define Base Methods - You can use pre-defined base methods provided by sap
           0012 - For Book Depreciation
0026 - For Spl Tax Depreciation
    3. Define 2 Multi-Level Methods -
one for For Book Depreciation with following values under Levels -
             Base Value - 01, Percentage - 10%
           For Special tax depreciation -
            Base Value - 24, Percentage - 20%
    4. Maintain Period Control Method
    5. Maintain 2 depreciation keys -
Assign the base method, Multi-Level methods and Period control methods as defined to the respective
              depreciation keys

  • Idle assets (asset shutdown) different treatment in dep areas.

    Hi
We have a situation where if the asset remains idle (shutdown flag in asset master contains a from and to date), then
    a) in area 01 depreciation should be stopped
    b) BUT in area 20 depreciation should continue.
What is the best way to do this? I am aware that there is a shutdown flag in depreciation key too.
    Please advise.
    Best wishes
    Raj.

    Hi Markus
Thanks a lot for your response and it makes a lot of sense. I was very apprehensive about using 0000 as you rightly said it would wipe out depreciation.
Another question is if I create a new depreciation key with shutdown unticked in it and assign it to a depreciation area I see that it recalculates depreciation for the time the asset remained idle in the "Current" year which is good.
Would you know if on the application of the new depreciation key (where shutdown is unticked)  will it also recalculate depreciation for the periods it remained idle in "closed" fiscal years?
    Best wishes
    Raj.
