Differeence btwn se09 and se10

Hi friends can any one clarify my doubt regarding se09 and se10.
what is the difference between these two transactions.i know that these r used for transport requests.
   thanks in advance......

Hi
SE09 is the workbench transport requests transaction - here the developers can track changes to all ABAP workbench objects
(dictionary, reports, module pools, etc). This is a developer-specific transaction and mostly all developers have access to
this transaction.
SE10 is the customizing request display transaction - this displays all the customizing requests in the system. Again,
this could be restricted to Business analysts if required, since they would be doing most of the customizing changes
in the system.
SE01 is the main screen of the Change and transport Organizer. From here the administrator can acheive
all tasks related to transport requests - such as create, change, view logs, display client/delivery transports,
etc. SE09 and SE10 can also be accessed from here. However, not all developers might be granted access to this transaction.

but i think this is not the correct answer which is  already appear in the thread list
recently sombady has answer like the one which i have mentioned above but the interviwer said that this is wrong.
CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE EXACT ANSWER AND HELP ME OUT.
    Regards
    fareed

    Hi Fareed,
First of all, i would say its a nice obsevation. As soon as i saw your post i started checking both transactions in seperate window and i found something interesting.
    My Observation is as follows:-
<b>When we create a Transaction, apart from the Transaction Name, Program Name, Screen Number etc., we also can give someting called "AUTHORIZATION FOR CALLED TRANSACTIONS", under the menu: UTILITIES of the window.
Also we can use TRANSACTION:SE97, Maintain Transaction call Authorization in CALL TRANSACTION. Here we maintain the list of TRANSACTION CALLED for our Calling Transaction.
Now if you see, this list for Transaction SE09 and SE10, The Authorization for Called Transaction Differs a lot. Hence the difference bettween SE09 and SE10 is mainly the AUTHORIZATION Objects.</b>
<b>NOTE:</b> This is my own observation, so there are chances of misinterpretation from my side, accounting to the human err. But this is something new to me too.
    Thanks and regards,
    RAVI :).
PLEASE AWARD POINTS IF YOU FEEL MY SOLUTION TO YOUR QUESTION IS RIGHT $-).

    hi nagendra,
    chk this thread:
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/profile?userid=3498743
SE09 transaction is for workbench transport request wherein the developers can track their changes or modifications to the workbench objects .
Whereas SE10 is a customising transport request transaction.this is used for displaying customising requests. Sometimes this may be restricted to business analysts.

  • Diff se09 and se10

    Hi all,
Can anybody please say me the difference between se09 and se10
    Thanks in advance

In earlier versions – se09 used for workbench request (client independent)and se10 used for customizing request
(Client dependent) and SE01 is extend view of both workbench and customizing request.
But now ( from 4.6 ) se09 and se10 are same and has both workbench and customizing request and se01 is the extend view of the same like you can directly enter the request number and display the details of the same or get list of request created by user in particular client, etc.

  • SE09 VS SE10

CAN ANY ONE TELL ME THE EXACT DIFFENECE BETWEEN SE09 AND SE10

    Hi,
Workbench Organizer (SE09) Correction and Transport System
    Customizing Organizer (SE10)
Task and Change requests are released from the system using SE09 or SE10.
SE09 - Workbench Request and it is client specific what we BW consultants develop in workbench.
SE10 - Customizing Requests which is Global. It affects to all the clients in the system. Generally Basis team use to develop it.

At least in later versions of SAP, SE09 and SE10 are identical - both calling screen RDDM0001 screen 100
    Thanks.

  • Is can we develop MATCH btwn VBEP and VBFA, for data pulling?

    Hi Experts,
I got a requirement, in which I hv to develop a report for the Open quantities for sales order items. fine.
I ssue is that, in the report I hv to show at Schedule line level i.e. VBEP.
So, by pulling the records from VBEP depending on the seldction criteria, I hv to pull the MATCHING record from VBFA for Post Goods Issue.
Then, I hv to implememnt the follwoing formula,
Open Quantity = VBEP, say Schedule line 1 quantity -(mnus) first saved corresponding Order, Item Quantitity-RFMNG in VBFA for PGI type
As we know, VBEP is at Schedule line lvel, where as VBFA is ITEM level!!
So, pls. let me know that,
1 - Is really, we can develop the MATCH btwn VBEP and VBFA tbls, I mean, always, the data will be correctly pulled?
2 - If so, Is the folllwoing statement is OK?
LOOP AT IT_VBFA WHERE VBELV = IT_VBEP-VBELN and POSNV = IT_VBEP-POSNR and ERDAT LE IT_VBEP-MBDAT
3 - Any other good statement for my requirement?
Looks like, functional guy is also NOT much idea, here.
    Thanx

    Vikash,
In case of ATP you are including the order line quantity that is being entered into consideration for calculating ATP (on the fly) where as the item supply demand will consider only scheduled order lines.
Also ATP check does the check for all the lines if the item has configuration (I believe). THis is not the case in the item supply demand. It is just doing the check only for that item.
Also ATP can be global. If you want to check the availablity of the item across your supply and demand network, you can do that (Global Order Promising). Supply Demand is purely inventory function. ATP is planning function.
These are few differences. There can be or are much more.
Take a look at the ASO_ATP_INT to get an idea how to do this. This is used in quote and iStore where customers can check themselves when the product is available using the date.
I suggest you use ATP functionality and not Supply demand logic.
    Thanks

  • SE09 vs SE10,   SM30 vs SM31

    Hi,
I do not find any reason behind attaching 2 diff transactions to same programs in SAP.
SE09 & SE10 have been assigned to the same program RDDM0001 screen 100  and authorization object S_TRANSPRT.
Similarly SM30 & SM31 have been assigned to the same program SAPMSVMA and screen 100.
