Difference between actual stock and month-end stock

Hi Friends,
How do I calculate the month-end stock for the current month for a material, in a plant...
Thanks,
Birendra Chatterjee

You don't have to calculate the actual stock.
It's store in the MBEW table

  • Difference between Actual Cost and Allocable costs in splitting KSS2

I have Cost splitting structure results with me(KSS2)
What is the difference between Actual Costs, Control Costs, Allocable Actual, Actual cost balance and which amount will system consider for calculating the rate with dividing the activity rates.

    Hi,
In Splitting Structure KSS2 There are two Costs One is Target Cost (Planned) and Control Cost (Actual Cost)
In Variance Calculation U will See Target Cost (Planned), Actual Cost, Allocated Actual Costs.
    Target Cost = Planned Cost
    Control Cost = Actual Cost
    Actual Cost = Actual Cost
Allocated Actual Cost = Actual Cost of the Output Qty. This is Actual Credits from Activity allocation. This is Actual Credits from delivery of Stock.
    Hope you are Clear.

  • FrameMaker10: Cause of difference between actual display and element setting

    Hello, everyone
In using FM10 in Windows7, I've experienced the problems below.
    1) A black square(■) is displayed while an ASTARISK element is set in the structure view. ("*1" is displayed on another computer )
    2) Different BODY elements are used but no return is inserted between the sentences.
Acutually, I already know the solution to the problems: import an element definition to the file.
If you know the (possible) "cause" of the problem, please let me know.
[Message moved to FM Structured Forum by moderator]

I'm starting to grasp, where your problem might come from.
You're saying, that when you create a new document and use those elements you mentioned, you are getting those weird results?
And, after you import the element definitions, everything is as it should be again?
Then all you need to do, is to get your system administrator or whoever is responsible for your FM setup to update the standard templates you are using to include the latest element definition file (EDD), as it seems you are using an outdated or incorrect version of it.
The issue, that you are receiving a square bullet instead of "*1" means, that the ASTERISK element is mapped to some other text brick (the square bullet) than in the current version of your EDD (which is embedded in your template file).
The BODY element seems to be mapped to a character style instead of a paragraph style in this outdated version - meaning you will have no line breaks, as it is treated as an inline element.
So, in short terms: get in contact with the guy that did set up your structure definitions/ templates. He should be able to fix your problems in no time.
If the guy isn't in the company anymore or if those structures were created by some 3rd party company, you are going to need to do some more research on how to change templates and their respective element definitions.
It is most important for your work, that at least one person in your company has the knowledge how to fiddle with those things, or you might be facing more serious issues in the future.
On a side note: binary FM files are the ones using *.fm as an extension. Those files include everything the document consists of: your document, the template, the element definitions and everything else.
As a counterpart, XML files only contain your document and the structure markup. Templates, element definitions and almost everything else is applied to those files upon import in Framemaker, or excluded upon export.

  • Difference between Standard cost and standard price

    Hi:
I have gone through google but i could not find any answer to the question clicking my mind. When we talk about standard cost and standard price..Should they be taken synonymously? Are these two same concepts... If there is any difference between two please do let me know..Similarly is there any difference between Actual cost and actual price. Please guide
    Br

For Finished Goods,  Cost is nothing but your manufacturing or procurement cost.
Where as Price is nothing but your sales price of the same Finished Goods.
Simply when you buy, it is cost and when you sell it is price.
Price includes cost + Profit or loss.
But from SAP point of view Standard Price field in Material master is Standard Cost.
Standard cost will be arrived when we manufacture or procure
Sale price will be entered in Sale order as condition value.

    please advice

    Hi,
Are you referring these two field in WTR1 table? If yes,
(Figure 1 There is no price defined and received with zero price)
    1. Based on price list, this info price will be updated. If there is no price, this field is zero
    2. If you receive any item without price (for GRPO with zero price), then field is zero
    3. If you receive item with price, based on quantity, the moving average price will be updates at item cost.

  • Exact Difference between Non Stock NLAG and Non Valuated  UNBW Materia type

    Dear All
What is the Exact Difference between Non Stock NLAG and Non Valuated  UNBW Materia type?
I tried creating Purchase Order and found that accouting doc got created at both times and stock was not updated in MMBE for both material types.
    Regards

    Hi,
    non-valuated material (Material Type UNBW):
This type of material is managed on a quantity basis, but not on a value basis. This makes sense for materials of low value, stocks of which nevertheless have to be monitored (for example, operating manuals).
Non-stock material (NLAG) (Material Type NLAG):
Inventory management is not possible for these materials either on a quantity or value basis. For frequently required consumables, the use of this material type nevertheless enables you to store the information required to create
purchasing documents (such as texts and units of measure).
When a material is procured directly for consumption, no material master record is necessary. In connection with consumable materials, you can distinguish between the following cases:
    • Consumable material without material master record
    • Consumable material with material master record that is not subject to
inventory management (on either a quantity or value basis)
    • Consumable material with material master record that is subject to inventory management on a quantity, but not a value, basis

  • I need to know the difference between planned SKF and Actual SKF from business view and when I can use one of them ?

I need just to know the difference between plan SKF and Actual SKF in business example and when I use one of them.
    thanks

    Hi Salaam,
Statistical Key Figure (SKF) is a base to allocate the cost between cost centers. Usually, common cost centers cost should allocate to respective department cost centers on monthly basis.
Some of SKFs are: Calculating floor rent on SFT, Telephone charges on No. of units, and employees head count is with "Each" in SAP.
Apart from Ajay's reply, you can consider the Canteen exp in an organization. Assume Admin, Fin and Mfg departments are getting food services from Canteen. Here, total monthly cost of Canteen exp should be allocated to respective departments. Here, we use SKF as total head count of each department and distribute the cost.
Planned SKF is what you planned on the beginning of a period. (Assume head count was planned as 30 in the month beginning)
Actual SKF is what exactly you consumed over the period. (Actual employees provided canteen services during the month is 25)

  • Difference between Start Routine  and End Routine in Transformations

    Hi  Friends,
I'm using BI 7.0... here in Transformations step  we have two options..that is START ROUTINE... and END ROUTINE... What is the Difference between Start Routine  and End Routine in Transformations..
When  we go for Start Routine.. and when we go for End Routine..
Plz clarrify... points will be rearded..
    thanks
    babu

    Hi,
One real time scenario for End Routine.
We have a scenario where in a datasource field is mapped to three infoobjects on the datatarget side. There are 2 key figures which need to get data after these these Infoobjects are filled. The best place for this to happen would be in a End Routine, where in we would loop through the results package and using the values of the infoobjects from the data target ( Cube in this case).
    Hope this helps,

Can you please tell me the difference between Delivery date and Actual goods issue date ?
Delivery data can be be greater than goods issue date?
    Thanks,
    Ajay

    Hi Ajay,
Delivery date means its the original date on which the delivery should be done.Actual goods Issue date is the date on which goods to be delivered according to the purchase order. There can be delay in the delivery so we maintain 2 objects.
Yes delivery date can be greater than Goods Issue date.
    Hope this clears

Hi I have the old photo shop elements 10 on my computer and want to update and was wondering what the differences between photoshop, lightroom and photoshop elements are?
Also when I upgrade does it have to be with a monthly membership or can I just purchase the product out right like you use to be able?

You cannot "update" from what you have to any of the applications you mention. It will have to be a straight purchase or subscription at full price.
Photoshop is a professional level application that makes no apologies for its very long and steep learning curve.
Lightroom is all about volume, and very light editing.
The Photoshop Elements forum is at:
    https://forums.adobe.com/community/photoshop_elements/content
Remember, you are not addressing Adobe here in the user forums.  You are requesting help from volunteers users just like you who give their time free of charge. No one has any obligation to answer your questions.
I do not know where there is such a comparison table as you seek, but someone else might, or you can google.

  • Whats the actual difference between Business system and Business service

whats the actual difference between Business system and Business service

    Business System
    1) Business system is a logical system, and there is an importance on physical existence of the system.
    2) Also SLD entry is required.
3)It is generally used for SAP applications, this is just a general prinicple followed but not mandatory.
4)This is defined as part of the SLD and is a physical system whose parameters are well defined.
5(Business systems refers to the physical systems, for instance the R/3 system. You define the business systems in the SLD
    Business Service
    1) You use a Business Service, when you do not have the System details of the the partner system to which you want to communicate. i.e. you have not configured the partner system in SLD.
    2) Business Service is an Absract Unit with Sender and Receiver Interfaces,In this case you need to explicitly add the message interfaces while doing configuration in ID.
    3) It is generally used for NON-SAP applications, this is just a general prinicple followed but not mandatory.
    4) This is not defined as part of SLD and whose technical parameters are not completely known.
5)Business service is used when the message is not addressed to a business system. It is used mostly in B2B scenarios.

  • Capturing the difference between Actual and planned time

    Hii...
I have created and released a production order which contains 25 operations and qty: 3 nos. I have done operation confirmation for 0010 operation as 2.5 hours (where as planned time is 1.5 hours). I would like to know how to get a report which can show the difference between actual & planned times.
And also I would like to know the operation time 1.5 hours which entered ny me was for operation of 1 number qty or its for 3 quantities.

if you maintained in routing 1 qty = 1.5 hrs, when you create production order qty 3 = 3 * 1.5 hrs so total 4.5 hrs for that operation 0010 to completed
