    Hi,
    I have the following scenario.
When we generate Trial Balance S_ALR_87012301 we have balance for Some GL codes,
But when we Generate FBL3N we are not getting the same balance. But when we Generate FAGLB03 we are able to Match with Trial Balance .
But All the Items are in Green but having some balances.
    How to overcome this ?
What could be the reason for the same ?

  • Difference between FAGLL03 and FBL3n

    Hi
My user is taking report for GL line items for 5 GL Accounts for 3 company codes for the month of July (Tcode: FAGLL03 and FBL3n).
But in FBL3n, there are 5 items and in FAGLL03 there are only 3 line items. When i did from my id, it properly shown me all 5 line items in both tcodes
Please let me know the reason

    Hi,
After gl balance report executed use T.code /NSU53 to see the missing authorisation object. Go to PFCG give the role and you can add the missing authorisation object to that role.
When you double click on the balance check are choosen only open items to be displayed or not. If line items are bulk then only system will give option.

  • Difference between FS10N and FBL3N

    Friends,
When we run the FS10N report for a G/L a/c in a company code for the year 2007, it only shows an open balance of X amount. This amount is only for a particular business area. I have checked the settings and the report is not restricted for that business area. In fact when I run FS10N by excluding that business area I do not get any line items.
However, when we run the report FBL3N for the same a/c for the same company code for open items as on 08-Aug-07, we get another amount Y, which is far bigger than X and contains the line items for all business areas.
Can you please explain why this is so and what needs to be done so that the amounts of the FS10N and the FBL3N reports are same.
Also, no archiving or deletion of data has been carried out in the system.
    Thanks & Regards.

    Hi Sameer,
GL account balance- The balance of a G/L account is the sum of the debit and credit balances of the account.
There are two types of balances:
    Credit balances
    Debit balances
Structure: The account balance displays the following:
The opening balance (the balance carried forward from the previous year)
The total of all transactions for each posting period, broken down into debit and credit postings (transaction figures)
From these figures the system also calculates the following for the account balance display:
    The balance per posting period
    The accumulated account balance
From the SAP Easy Access menu, choose Accounting->Financial Accounting-> General ledger->Account->Display balances.
Enter the G/L account number, the company code, and the fiscal year. You can also limit the display for a specific business area.
You can save your selection criteria as a  selection variant. The next time you start the account display, the parameters you selected are already set. To save your settings, choose Goto-> Variants->Save as variant...
    Choose .
    ============================================================
FBL3N- You can display the line items for one or more accounts.
Line items are document items that were posted to a specific account. In contrast to a document item, a line item only contains the information from the document that is relevant from the account view.
You can display the following line items:
    Open items
    Cleared items
    Noted items
    Parked items
Items with special G/L transactions (in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable)
Items with customer or vendor items (in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable)
You can display the line items for the following account types:
    Customer accounts
    Vendor accounts
    G/L accounts
    Prerequisites
In order to display the line items for an account, the account must be managed with line item display. This means that you have set the indicator Line item display in the master data of the account.
This setting is mandatory for customer and vendor accounts.
For G/L accounts, you have to make this setting in the account master data.
For more information about the Line item display indicator, see  Defining "Line Item Display"
    Features
If you have posted a business transaction and want to display the line items, you have the following options:
Display the document and then the line items. For more information, see  Displaying Documents.
Display the account and then the line items.
You can use the following functions to display line items:
Line Item Display with the SAP List Viewer (ALV)
This is the standard function. The line items are displayed in a list where you can use the functions of the  SAP List Viewer (ALV) for creating the layout, for example, sorting, creating totals, and so on.
    Classic Line Item Display
You can only use the classic line item display as a modification solution.
Hope I had beena ble to help you. pleaze assign points.

  • Retained earnings account- differences between F.01, FS10N, FBL3N

    Hi Sap Gurus
Maybe someone can help me. When Iu2019m trying to control the amounts for the retained earnings account comparing the FS10N, FS10N drilldown, FBL3N, and F.01 they give me all different values.
I understand that the differences between the FS10N and FBL3N can be related to the carryfowrd process.
But, okey. Why when Iu2019m double click on the FS10N report the system shows a different value from the FBL3N? Another problem is when I compare the amount from FS10N and F.01 for the same retained earnings account, the system show complete different values, how I can verify the amounts for control and audit process?
    Regards
    Gabriela

I cannot speak on F.01 but between FS10N and FBL3N and FS10N drill down, they should equal in grand total. Keep in mind that FS10N GL Account balance display is based on one fiscal year display but the cumulative balance should be all activity from day 1 that has been carried forward.
Try running FS10N for the last fiscal year possible. If carryforward for the retained earnings accounts have been performed for each year, then the ending figure in the cumulative balance column will equal the same total ending balance you get when you execute FBL3N GL Line item display for the same retained earnings account (providing you select "All items" and don't include in posting date restrictions or any others on the selection screen).
Using FS10N for each fiscal year, you can check to to see if the beginning cumulative balance is the same as the previous years ending cumulative balance. If not then they may be a carryforward issue.

  • Difference between FBL3N and KSB1

    Hi,
Which can be the reasons of the difference between FBL3N and KSB1.
I understand that these reports have to have the same value.
    Regards,
    Pablo

    Hi,
FBL3N gives the GL line Items, which includes GL accounts created with Cost Element as well as without Cost Element.
Whereas KSB1 includes line items which were generated for Cost Elements only.
Hence if there is a Balance Sheet Account, You will not have a Cost Element created for the same.  The entry will appear in FBL3N for that account, where as you will not have it in KSB1.
    Hope you got the difference.
Appreciate if you could award points if  you find this information helpful.

  • Difference between Trail Balance and FBL3n

    Hi Alll,
Is there any solution when FBL3N is not tallying with Trail Balance.  After raising the billing some times the user want to reverse the transactions and later they will do corrections again rasing the billing.
I found the difference between becaz of cancelation billing.
Can u give some idea i will go through ur advices.
    Thanx in advance,

    Bhaskar

In case of ECC 6.0, Documents are splitted on Profit center level on GL entry level. on this basis FBL3n is a report based on Entry View. There will be several cases that trial , balance sheet will not tally with FBL3n.
You should use FAGLL03 with will give you Gl line items on GL level with profit center and this will tally all you financial reports.
Hope this will be benefecial for you.
    Assign point if found useful.

  • Difference between F.05 and FBL3N amount in local currency

    Hey all,
There are difference between standart reports F.05 and FBL3N amount in local currency. Amount in Foreign currencies are the same. What could be the problem?
    Thanks,
    Esin

FBL3N show you the balances as per the exchange rate of Posting date of the document.
F.05 show you the balances as per the exchange rate of valuation key date.
Also exchange rate type might be different for foreign currency valuation.

  • The Difference Between?

Ok so I believe I know the answer here but asking anyway.
What is the difference between the adobe creative cloud team license vs the adobe creative cloud enterprise license?
is the team licence basically individually licences products per account users?
and is the enterprise one license that covers multiple users at once?
Thanks and sorry for the question but had to verify.

    Hi tbirdbrent ,
Thank you for posting on the forums, the answer to your question is as follows.
    1) Creative Cloud for teams brings together the very latest Creative Cloud desktop apps, updates and upgrades the moment they’re released, and all of the services and business features your team needs to create their best work and collaborate with their peers. Adobe offers two Creative Cloud for teams plans — you can opt for a complete plan (all apps and services) or a single-app plan such as Photoshop CC (access to one app and select services). With each option, you’ll receive access to the same easy-to-use web-based admin console that allows the administrator to centrally purchase, deploy, and manage all seats across your organization — whether single app or complete — under one membership agreement.
    2) Creative Cloud for enterprise is for organizations with large deployments that require centralized provisioning and customized deployment of apps and services. Enterprises also receive enterprise customer support and expert services. Creative Cloud for enterprise also works with Digital Publishing Suite; Adobe Anywhere for video; and Adobe Marketing Cloud, which includes Adobe Experience Manager — all sold separately.
Also, the team licences is not individually licences products per account users and the same goes with the enterprise license.

  • What is difference between sy-tabix and sy-index.

    SAP Seniors,
Can you please let me know what is difference between sy-index and sy-tabix.
I read the SAP help, it is confusing for me. it looks like both are same from help. please help me.
    Thank you
    Anitha.

    HI,
Here is a brief description of difference between SY_TABIX and SY_INDEX and using them with several conditions.
    SY-TABIX
Current line of an internal table. SY-TABIX is set by the statements below, but only for index tables. The field is either not set or is set to 0 for hashed tables.
APPEND sets SY-TABIX to the index of the last line of the table, that is, it contains the overall number of entries in the table.
COLLECT sets SY-TABIX to the index of the existing or inserted line in the table. If the table has the type HASHED TABLE, SY-TABIX is set to 0.
LOOP AT sets SY-TABIX to the index of the current line at the beginning of each loop lass. At the end of the loop, SY-TABIX is reset to the value that it had before entering the loop. It is set to 0 if the table has the type HASHED TABLE.
READ TABLE sets SY-TABIX to the index of the table line read. If you use a binary search, and the system does not find a line, SY-TABIX contains the total number of lines, or one more than the total number of lines. SY-INDEX is undefined if a linear search fails to return an entry.
SEARCH <itab> FOR sets SY-TABIX to the index of the table line in which the search string is found.
    SY-INDEX
In a DO or WHILE loop, SY-INDEX contains the number of loop passes including the current pass.
    Hope this helps.
    Thank you,
    Pavan.

  • What is difference between sy-index and sy-tabix and where both are using ?

what is difference between sy-index and sy-tabix and where both are using ?

    hi nagaraju
sy-tabix is in Internal table, current line index. So it can only be used while looping at the internal table.
sy-index is in Loops, number of current pass. This you can use in other loop statements also (like do-enddo loop, while-endwhile)
    SY-INDEX is a counter for following loops: do...enddo, while..endwhile
SY-TABIX is a counter for LOOP...ENDLOOP, READ TABLE...
Here is an example from which you can understand the difference between sy-tabix and sy-index.
Itab is an internal table with the following data in it.
    id Name
    198 XYZ
    475 ABC
    545 PQR.
loop at itab where id > 300.
    write :/ itab-id, itab-name , sy-tabix, sy-index.
    endloop.
    My output will be :
    475 ABC 2 1
    545 PQR 3 2
Sy-tabix is the index of the record in internal table.
sy-index gives the no of times of loop passes.
So, for the first record in the output (475 ABC), 2 is the index of the record in internal table and as it is first time loop pass occured, sy-index value is 1.

  • Difference between sy-index & sy-tabix

    Dear friends,
Please tell me the difference between sy-index & sy-tabix
Actually my problem is i don't know how to compare for example between first record'field n and second record'field n when u r in loop so i can take particular action based on result
    on current recor
if possible send me sample code.
    Regards;
    Parag Gavkar.

    SY-TABIX:
Current line in an internal table. With the following statements SY-TABIX is set for index tables. With hashed tables, SY-TABIX is not filled or it is set to 0.
    - APPEND sets SY-TABIX to the index of the last table row, that is the total number of entries in the target table.
    - COLLECT sets SY-TABIX to the index of the existing or appended table row. With hashed tables, SY-TABIX is set to 0.
    - LOOP AT sets SY-TABIX to the index of the current table row at the beginning of every loop pass. After leaving a loop, SY-TABIX is set to the value it had before entering the loop. With hashed tables, SY-TABIX is set to 0.
    - READ TABLE sets SY-TABIX to the index of the table row read. If no row is found with binary search while reading, SY-TABIX contains the index of the next-highest row or the total number of rows +1. If no row is found with linear search while reading, SY-TABIX is undefined.
    - SEARCH itab FOR sets SY-TABIX to the index of the table row, in which the search string was found.
    SY-INDEX:
SY-INDEX contains the number of loop passes in DO and WHILE loops, including the current loop pass.
