Difference between last gen vid and newest gen?

Hi,
I have an opportunity to buy the previous generation 60GB iPod video for $220. It's an open box special, nothing wrong, not a refurb. Full warr, etc, just like buying it new, but opened box. The current gen 80GB is $349, which is $129 more. I don't need the extra 20GB.
I'm wondering what the differences are between the two models. I see that the newest gen has a "60% brighter display." Any comments on that?
Other differences, better or worse?
Without needing the extra 20GB, any other reasons to spend the extra $ on the 80GB?
Any known weaknesses with either one?
Thanks

The differences are, then new 5 Generation iPod, has better battery life, a brighter screen (as you mentioned), a search feature, available in 30 and 80 gigs, and is cheaper than the original 5 Generation iPod.
But in order to use the new 5G iPod you must have iTunes 7.X

    Hi Gary...........
Welcome To SAP Business One Forum..........
Last Purchase Price is the price of Most Latest Purchase of that particular Price......
And Last Evaluated means Last Calculated Price is the
You can also perform the valuation based on the last evaluated prices. In this case, SAP Business One uses the last calculated costs for each item. If you run a valuation under the FIFO method, for example, and then run a valuation for the last calculated costs, SAP Business One valuates the items using the last value that was determined for an item under the FIFO method.

  • Difference between this month amount and last month amount.

    Hi experts,
in report i am showing amount in one coloumn for one year and month wise. in another coloumn i need to show the difference between present month amount and last month.amount for the total months..how to done this..
    regards...roi

    Hi,
You may do this using cell definition.
If number of months and format is finite then you may do this creating seperate RKF/Selction for each month and then use the same in required CKF/Formulas for deducting. You may display the CKF/Formulas in report for your requirement and hide the rest.
    I hope it will help.

  • What is the difference between the iPad "3" and the latest model

I saw that the "new" iPad was recently replaced at the same time the "Mini" was released. What is the difference between the iPad "3" and the newest model?

The two differences that I can see are the new processor for the 4th gen iPad - the A6X which is supposed to be twice as fast as the current 3rd gen, and the new Lightning connector cable on the 4th gen.
Essentially that's all that there is ... Both have the retina display, iOS 6, same size, and so on.

Do we have a way to get the differences between xtext model before and after partial parse?
As an example i have file contains 4 lines, xtext parsed this file and generated its model, then i made small modification in line number 3, so xtext partially parsed the file and generated another model.
The question is could we get the nodes that has been deleted from the model?
could we get the new nodes added to the model?
could we get the differences between the two models?

  • Differences between XI 3.0 and 7.0?

Can anyone say the difference between SAP XI 3.0 and SAP XI 7.0? Also I would like to know when 7.0 is released in the market?

    Hi,
that's the answer I received from OSS support regarding availability of XI 7.0 (status end of last year):
<i>the actual Release is XI 3.0 which is part of NetWeaver '04 as you
    probably now.
XI 4.0 to XI 6.0 will be left out to synchronize the Release numbers of
    NetWeaver components.
That means that the release which followes XI 3.0 is called XI 7.0 (and
    not XI 4.0).
For XI point of view there is not much difference between XI 3.0 and XI
    7.0
    Regarding your question:
unfortunately we plan to give out the next major release just about end
    of next year (2006).</i>

  • Re: DIfference between Schemas, PCRS' FUnctions and Operations

    Dear SAPExperts,
Can anybody pls tell me what is difference between Schemas, PCRS' Functions and Operations.
    Thanx in advance
    Regards
    Aniruddha

    Hi Aniruddha
When the payroll driver is executed (for ex: PC00_M40_CALC for INDIA is executed) the schema IN00 (standard schema) is executed and it calls certain functions (functions may use Rules. Rules contain Operation) and also subschemas.
Functions could be of four types
    1. Performing some payroll computations (E.g. INEPF function calculates the PF amount of an employee during payroll run)
    2. Calling rules (E.g. P0045 function calls a rule INLN to compute the loan details of a personnel number).
    3. Getting data from Infotypes (E.g. P0581 will get the data from Infotype-581 for payroll processing).
    4. For some decisions. (E.g. IF & ENDIF function is used to execute as per the true and false decisions) etc.
When the PY is executed SAP uses lot of Internal Tables to store data and also provides data to other internal tables.
The read and change access to Internal Tables is enabled using functions that are executed in a personnel calculation schema and using operations that are executed in personnel calculation rules.
The following is just an attempt to provide some info on how Functions are processed during the PY Run. For ex: (functionality of subschema XIN0 and INBD)
    1. INITIALIZATION OF PAYROLL: When the Payroll is executed first the subschema XIN0 is called,   This subschema comprises the following main steps:
    I.     Specify program type (payroll or evaluation)
II.     Set switch for database updates (YES/NO) all database updates are controlled via this switch (otherwise simulation)
III.     Only infotypes from the HR master record which apply to the selected personnel number are read.
IV.     All Time Management infotypes are imported.
    V.     Specify check against control record PA03 (test or live).
    2. READ BASIC DATA: Once the Initialization of Payroll is successful, the subschema INBD is called. This subschema reads the Basic data of an employee who is there in the Payroll execution. Basic Data includes, determining Employee Name, Reading Work Center/Basic Pay Data, Setting Financial Year Dates and Allowance Grouping Tables, Reading Previous Employment Tax Details, Reading Housing (HRA/CLA/COA), Reading Exemptions, Reading Income from Other Sources, Reading Section 80 Deductions, Reading Investment Details (Sec 88), Reading Provident Fund Contributions, Reading Other Statutory Deductions, Reading Car and Conveyance, Reading Long Term Reimbursements, Read ID Details. Function GON checks whether all the master data has been imported, no further processing of schema will occur unless certain data is present.
The Subschema INBD calls the following functions in order to read the Basic Data:
    ENAME :
Function ENAME reads the last valid name of the employee in the payroll period. The formatting used for the country in question is used when displaying this name.
    WPBP
If an employee receives a pay increase within a payroll period, the Basic Pay infotype (0008) is changed and delimited as of a specific date. Two data records exist for one payroll period.
During payroll, the system writes the Basic Pay wage type to the results table with two different indicators. These split indicators are a link to the WPBP table that contains the relevant values. The system takes into consideration both data records for the corresponding partial periods when calculating remuneration.
    ININI
    P0580
    P0581
    P0582
    P0584
    P0585
    P0586
    P0587
    P0588
    P0583
    P0590
    P185I
    GON :
Function GON checks whether all the master data has been imported. No further processing of the schema will occur unless certain data is present. Checking procedures vary from country to country. There must always, however, be a work center (P007).
[Def. of Functions, Rules and Operations (copied from Raju's answer)
Schema is a collection of functions
A Rule is a collection of operations.
An operation is a very basic piece of logic that is used, mostly, to manipulate wage types

  • What is the difference between PO Charge Account and PO Accrue Account ?

    Hi
On Requistion's Distribution screen , there is a A/c codes exists : PO Charge , Accrue, Budget & Variance .
Can anyone explain me the exact purpose of the same and what is the difference between PO Charge Account and PO Accrue Account ?
    regards
    Thanks
    SD

    Hi Sanjay,
Here is the OA help (11i) :
    Entering Purchase Order Distributions:
    6. Enter the purchasing accounts. When you save your changes in this window, Purchasing uses the Account Generator to automatically create the following accounts for each distribution:
Charge: the account to charge for the cost of this item in the purchasing operating unit
Accrual: the AP accrual account in the purchasing operating unit
Variance: the invoice price variance account in the purchasing operating unit
Destination Charge: the account to charge for the cost of this item in the destination operating unit
Destination Variance: the invoice price variance account in the destination operating unit
Note: The last two accounts are created only if the receiving destination operating unit is different than the purchasing operating unit and there is a transaction flow defined between the two organizations.
If you are using encumbrance control, Purchasing also creates the following account for each distribution:
    Budget: the encumbrance budget account
The Account Generator creates these accounts based on predefined rules. See: Using the Account Generator in Oracle Purchasing.Hope it helps

  • What is the difference between quicktime 7 pro and quicktime x

What is the difference between quicktime 7 pro and quicktime x

QuickTime Pro 7 is a very useful video tool.  You can make simple edits to video files, cut-n-paste multiple video files together into one, save the video or transcode it into a variety of common video formats, use it to analyze a video to see which codec it's in, and even play videos in professional settings.
    QuickTime X is completely useless.
With QT X and Final Cut X, Apple has completely abandoned the professional video market.  Both of these software packages are dumbed down for Windows users, and are intentionally designed to anger and alienate the professional user that has come to rely on Apple software for their video needs over the last 20 years.  Final Cut X is really just iMoviePro. If I wanted iMovie, I'd use iMovie, but I need a professional video app, not a kiddie video app.  Therefore I can not use FCPX.
I have work to do, under strict deadlines and budget limits.  FCPX and QTX actively prevent me from getting any work done at all.  Apple has left me no choice.  I have to go back to Adobe Premiere or Avid Media Composer since these are still professional applications.  Final Cut and QuickTime have been turned into kiddie-style iMovie-like apps that have no functionality whatsoever.
Apple is heading in a very disappointing direction.  They have a history of cutting off legacy items without notice.  They have decided that optical media is over and everything is online.  But my clients don't have that luxury.  I still have to deliver products on DVD and increasingly Blu-Ray.  Apple's obstinate refusal to support Blu-Ray has cost me clients, and I've had to resort to third-party software and hardware.
Apple has abandoned the professional video market.

  • What is the difference between saving to "Documents" and "Macintosh HD" and when should you use each one?*

What is the difference between saving to "Documents" and "Macintosh HD" and when should you use each one?

When you save to the folder with the little house icon, the file is placed at
    /Users/your_user_name/
You would really have to go out of my way to save at:
(the shortcut for the Boot Drive, regardless of its name).
I am not sure how you decided that Time Machine is not saving your files. The default is for Time Machine to do incremental Backups of everything on all attached drives, except for certain temporary information in Cache files. If you have four Users, Time Machine will back them all up.
Looking at the raw Time Machine backups will tell you very little, because it does lots of its work with Hard Links, and because it does incremental backups, so only files that changed since the last Backup are saved at thet cycle. The way to determine whether Time Machine is saving things is to display the window you care about in the Finder, then invoke the "Star wars"/ "Back, back, back in time" Interface.

  • Difference between "change auth data " and "expert mode" in pfcg

    Gurus ,
i need to know , what is the difference between
    "change  authorization data "
    and
"expert mode for profile generation" in PFCG .
and what is the significance of the three options that we get when we choose expert mode ?

    Hi Susin,
To change the authorization data for the transactions assigned to the role, choose Change Authorization Data or Expert Mode for Profile Generation.
If you are generating the profile for the first time, there is no difference between the two modes.
When you change a role, you must regenerate the authorization profile. In this case, the status of the profile generation is displayed red or yellow at the top of the Authorizations tab page.
If the status display is red, you must perform an authorization data comparison, since the menu was changed since the last profile generation or no authorization data exists.
If the display is yellow, the authorization data for the role was changed and saved after the last generation. The generated profile is no longer current. You need to regenerate it.
The significance of the three options that we get when we choose expert mode is as follows:
Choose one of the options to maintain the authorization values (in normal mode, the correct option is automatically set):
1> Delete and recreate profile and authorizations
All authorizations are recreated. Values which had previously been maintained, changed or entered manually are lost. Only the maintained values for organizational levels remain.
    2> Edit old status
The last saved authorization data for the role is displayed. This is not useful, if transactions in the role menu have been changed.
3> Read old status and compare with new data
If you change transactions in the role menu, this option is the preconfigured. The profile generator compares the existing authorization data with the authorization default values for the menu transactions. If new authorizations are added during this process, they receive the status New. Authorizations that already existed receive the status Old.
Note the following during the comparison:
Values for organizational levels that are no longer required are deleted, all others are retained. If new organizational levels are added, you need to maintain them.
The standard authorization for the object S_TCODE is always automatically filled with the current transactions from the role menu. It cannot be copied or manually changed, only deactivated.
    Thanks,
    Saby..

  • Difference between brand-new 15" and 17"

What's the difference between the 2.4GHz 15" and 17" besides the 17" larger screen?
Does the 17" battery power last shorter than the 15" since it has a bigger screen to lid up?
    thanks

17" uses CCFL for its backlight technology, where as the 15" uses LED.
As reported, the battery life is a little longer on the 15"
The 17" is a great machine with tons of screen real estate. Of course that large screen can be a double edged sword. If you fly a lot or travel, the 17" is more unwieldy. The trays on airlines are too small to comfortably accommodate such a large laptop.
Where the 17" shines in that if you do travel somewhat but want a desktop replacement.
Personally I like my 15" MBP besides use the price difference between the two models and get an iphone, the price delta almost pays for one
