Difference between Mb1b 541 Mov type and ME2O

Hi,
I want to know difference between Mb1b 541 Mov type and ME2O.
Thanks and regards
Gitesh

Hi,
ME20 has 2 options one to directly transfer, that is without delivery.  And, anotehr is with delivery.
Option 1 will create a material document in ME20 transaction.
With option 2 it will create a delivery note.   you have issue the material in vl02n if delivery note is created and then material documetn will get generated.

alexandro.

  • Difference between fully-specified data types. and generic types

    Hi,
Can anyone tell me the difference between fully-specified data types and generic types.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    P.S.

    HI
    Generic table types
    INDEX TABLE
For creating a generic table type with index access.
    ANY TABLE
For creating a fully-generic table type.
Data types defined using generic types can currently only be used for field symbols and for interface parameters in procedures . The generic type INDEX TABLEincludes standard tables and sorted tables. These are the two table types for which index access is allowed. You cannot pass hashed tables to field symbols or interface parameters defined in this way. The generic type ANY TABLE can represent any table. You can pass tables of all three types to field symbols and interface parameters defined in this way. However, these field symbols and parameters will then only allow operations that are possible for all tables, that is, index operations are not allowed.
    Fully-Specified Table Types
    STANDARD TABLE or TABLE
    For creating standard tables.
    SORTED TABLE
    For creating sorted tables.
    HASHED TABLE
    For creating hashed tables.
Fully-specified table types determine how the system will access the entries in the table in key operations. It uses a linear search for standard tables, a binary search for sorted tables, and a search using a hash algorithm for hashed tables.

  • Could I use other movement type in ME2O copy from 541?

    Dear friends,
Could I use ME2O with other movement type copied from 541 ? or only with 541 ?
    Is it customizable ?
    Best regards,
    Ale

You can Use only 541 Movement Type in ME2O that too System Propose this Automatically. So, You cannot Select Movement Type in ME2O.
You can use MB1B also For Transfer Stock to Subc. Using 541 Mov type. MB1B is Multipurpose.

  • Whats the difference between RFC destination of type "HTTP" and "TCP/IP"

    Hi Folks,
I want to know the difference between RFC destination of type "H" and "T".
In what instances/tasks we would use them?
Looking forward for your valuable answers...
    Cheers,
    Ram.

    Type of RFC connection.
By entering the type of RFC connection, you specify the communication method (TCP or SNA) and the logon type in the target sys
Type T (TCP/IP) destinations are connections to external programs that use the RFC API to receive 'Remote Function Calls'. You must specify the host name and the pathname of the program to be started. The communication method depends on how you select the program location.
Type H is the HTTP connection to R/3 system
Type G is the HTTP Connection to external server

  • Not allow user to change Vendor in MB1B(541 mov) in subcontracting process

    Hi all
Im doing 541 mov type in mb1b wrt PO number, the vendor number is automatically fetching from PO but user can change the vendor there,
I have to set display field as vendor, not allow to change vendor in MB1B..how can i set??? plz help me
    thanks
    ramesh reddy

    Hi,
I would like to remeber you there is no direct connection between the purchase order and the
subcontractor stock. When you enter the purchase order in the MB1B
transaction, the data defaults from the purchase order only as an aid to
    entry.
Please review the following notes for further explanations:
70739 - No order-related stock of material provided in R/3
50540 - Quantity proposal for movement type 541 for the
The transaction is designed to be a way to simplify the input of the
data. It allows you to change the data and overship or undership if you
would like. As there is no vendor stock specifically related to a
purchase order, there is no quantity check, and if you want, you can
post it several times or change the quantity.
In standard procedure we normally use ME2O instead of MB1B

  • Movement Type and Its Reversal

    Hi all,
    In Sub contracting scenario-
541-  Transfer posting to Stock with Sub contractor from unrestricted stock.
542- Transfer posting to Stock with Sub contractor from unrestricted stock Reversal
I want to know does 542 means TP from subcontracting stock to Unrestricted stock.
Which scenario i can used 542 to movmnt type?
How the GR and Byproducts, scraps are  is handled in Sub contracting.
    Regards,
    Ashu

    Hi
3 diff scenarios you may use 542 movement type...
1)You are sending some component to SC-vendor...for assembling against SC-PO...
Now the Order has been cancelled...you want to cancel the SC-PO, and take back the Component from SC-Vendor...Now you have to take back the Components from SC-Vendor in T.Code:MB1B,useing 542 movement type only....
2)Suppose you have issued some Components to SC-Vendor against SC-PO for making one assemble....Now the SC-Vendor has consumed the Component less compare to our Estimation(what we maintained in BOM)...
So Now you have to take back the Bal.qyt. of component fron Sc-vendor....for this purpose...First you have to Do regulr GR for the Finished assembly....and separately, you have to do Sub.Adjustment in MIGO, with ref.doc.as Your SC-PO....the Under consumed component will be adjusted in 544 O+ movement type automatically....and this Under Consumed bal.qty.Components you have to get back into Company stock in MB1B,useing 542movent type...
3)If you want to get By product from SC-Vendor.....then you can get back by useing 542movement type only...
If you want to get By product from SC-Vendor.....you have to maintain while creating BOM itself...
For eg) you give Product "A" to SC Vendor and getting back Product "B"...and By product "C"....
Then Create BOM for Product "B" in CS01...and in Components list...you give Product "A" , and maintain Product "C" as a negative component(ie) By product..)
Then Create PO for Product "B" in ME21N with Item Category "L"....
    Then Issue Product"A" to SC-Vendor in ME2O///
After completion of product "B"....you do GR for Product "B"...in MIGO 101+ movement type....
At this time, the Component, Product"A"...will be automatically consumed in 543 O-- movement type...and your By Product will be generated in 545 O+ movement type and it will be lying at SC-vendor's Place....
Then separately, you can Get back this By product in to Company's stock in MB1B movement type....useing movement type 542....
I think I have clarified all your questions...

  • What is the difference between component(Y, Pb, Pr) and component(R,G,B)?

[I previously posted this question in another thread as hadn't realised how to post new question]
    Q. What is the difference between component (Y, Pb, Pr) and component (R,G,B) ?
I’d previously thought I was reasonably savvy on all things HD, but when I turned my thoughts to looking into getting a mac mini to run part of my home cinema I realise I have some confusions around the above.
    Here’s what I think I know:-
The mac mini has a DVI output of the type which can output both digital and analogue, and so via physical adapters it could be used to connect to displays that take HDMI or VGA style RGB leads.
I know on the market I can get a DVI to Component cable lead which would therefore lead me to assume it could drive my HD plasma with component input (Y,Pb,Pr), as I currently drive the HD TV via component cable with a SKY HD box (720p and 1080i), an xbox 360 (720p) and a progressive scan DVD player (480p), all through a Denon AV-amp.
The problem is, I’ve heard somewhere that the DVI to component is R,G,B only and that it is not Y, Pb, Pr which is making me wonder it a) this will work and b) if I really understand component video afterall.
I notice the Apple TV outputs Y,Pb,Pr but colours them red, green and blue, so am even more confused….
Hopefully someone can help educate me on this !

    Thanks for this.
My Plasma is a Panasonic 42" Viera March 2005 model. No HDMI, No VGA.
It can process signals up to 720p and 1080i via the component (an interestingly it makes a huge difference over SD even though the native panel is 480..!?!)
Am I right in thinking that the iPod component cable will also be R,G,B and therefor might be a suitable trial? Ie. if the TV accepts the input from the iPod then it should work for the mini?
Only other thing of note is I'm doing all this via my Denon 1707 AV amp which does have the facility of upscaling, but I imagine it needs to stick to one format?
    Thanks.

  • Difference between Excise duty on Setoff and Excise duty on Inventory

    Hi,
What is the difference between Excise duty for Setoff and Excise duty for Inventory?
    regards,
    sathya

    hi Sathya
Excise duty on set off means the values goes to a particular G/L and take the credit of it whie selling the material. Excise duty on inventory means your value will get loaded to your inventory. In case of duties on set off, you define your own account keys against condition type in tax procedure and G/L is assigned to this Acc key on OBYC/OB40. and in case of duty on inventory, standard acc key NVV is assigned and no G/L assignment is carried out in OBYC/OB40.

  • What is the difference between the normal function module and bapi function

    hi,
what is the difference between the normal function module and bapi function module.

    Hi
BAPI stands for Business API(Application Program Interface).
A BAPI is remotely enabled function module ie it can be invoked from remote programs like standalone JAVA programs, web interface etc..
You can make your function module remotely enabled in attributes of Function module but
A BAPI are standard SAP function modules provided by SAP for remote access. Also they are part of Businees Objest Repository(BOR).
BAPI are RFC enabled function modules. the difference between RFc and BAPI are business objects. You create business objects and those are then registered in your BOR (Business Object Repository) which can be accessed outside the SAP system by using some other applications (Non-SAP) such as VB or JAVA. in this case u only specify the business object and its method from external system in BAPI there is no direct system call. while RFC are direct system call Some BAPIs provide basic functions and can be used for most SAP business object types. These BAPIs should be implemented the same for all business object types. Standardized BAPIs are easier to use and prevent users having to deal with a number of different BAPIs. Whenever possible, a standardized BAPI must be used in preference to an individual BAPI.

  • Difference between After parameter Form Trigger and before Report Trigger

    hi,
Can some one tell me difference between After parameter form Trigger and Before parameter trigger.
Why do we need both these trigger , why can't we use any one of them because after parameter trigger will obviously fire before report trigger and similarly before report trigger will fire after parameter form.
    Thanks
    Ram

    Hi,
    i will make it clear..!
Actually, we have four type of triggers in reports..!
Before Parameter -- fires before params are suppied to the calling report..
After Parameter -- fires after params are suppied to the calling report..
Before Report -- fires before report is generated..
After Report. -- fires after report is generated..
Before Report and After Report triggers are used for formatting the report design..
like u can specify a report to be displayed based on a condition in the Before
Report trigger and u can specify some backend updations in the after report trigger
which fires after report is generated..

  • Difference between business process, sales process and order process

what is the difference between business process, sales process and order process?

    Dear Gopala,
business process is a general definition of the process which you have:
for example, you get an order, you have no goods, but you can produce them, you start an assambly processing, the production order will be created, then the goods will be prepatred, then the delivery will be created, the goods issue booked then your customer gets thwe goods and send the delivery confirmation, you create an invoice etc.etc.
sales process is a part of  a business process.
Sales process shows how you sell the goods, there are different sales document  categories to do this: sales orders, contracts, scheduling agreements etc.
order process is only one of possibilities of the sales process.
Order process is used if you get really a one-time (or at lease not on a regular basis many times) the simple orders where your customer says what goods he would like to receive and when. Then you create a sales order (in dialog transaction VA01) and can create a delivery. There are different types of sales orders in the standard. The customizing of sales order types is available under the transaction VOV8.
I hope, this info help you a little bit further to understand SD design.
    Kind regards,
