Difference between N73 & N73 Music Edition !!!!!

What is the difference between nokia n&3 & N73 Music Edition ?
Is it only the software or there is a hardware difference ???
NOKIA N73, NOKIA 7250i, NOKIA 1100

As far as i'm aware it purely a cosmetic change (i.e. the Black Facia) and that it has a different music application, comes with better headphones & memory card for music. (I think). I have seen them both and thats all i could see different).

  • Nokia N73 (not music edition) Ring tone mute mode

    Hi,
I am having the Nokia N73 (not music edition) phone. If I receive any call when the music player is in the pause mode then I can see the vibrating alert only and not the ring tone. At that time my ring tone is going on mute mode. Is it a build-in functionality? Or it is a problem?
    Thanks,
    Parker.

Try switching profiles. If you see it's set to Silent, turn it to General instead.

Hi there. Having the exact same problem when trying to switch off in silent mode or pager mode but ok on general mode. Been sent away to three network who sent it back saying that all nokia n73s do this on three network and nokia are trying to fix this problem. The line manager at threes customer service centre told me that all n73s do this even on other networks. Is this true? What can I do about this. Did you get a replacement handset that works ok or are you still stuck with that handset and its problems?

  • Difference Between Enterprise and Personal Editions?

    Hi All,
I want to install Oracle 9i on Window XP Pro. I am wondering what is the difference between the Enterprise Edition and the Personal Edition? Do they both come with the Enterprise Manager clients that I am used to using?
    Any advice much appreciated.

    Hi Alex,
You can get the information from the "doc" directory in the "disk1". If case you do not have it, I had copy it here for you. Hope it can help you to know more about the differences before choosing which one to install. I too have the tough time deciding until I came across this information.
Enterprise Edition: If you select this type, Oracle Universal Installer installs a preconfigured seed database, networking services, licensable Oracle Options, database environment tools, the Oracle Enterprise Manager framework of management tools, including Console, Management Server, and Intelligent Agent, Oracle utilities, and online documentation. It also installs those products most commonly used in data warehousing and transaction processing environments.
Standard Edition: If you select this type, Oracle Universal Installer installs a preconfigured seed database, networking services, Oracle Enterprise Manager framework of management tools, including Console, Management Server, and Intelligent Agent, and Oracle utilities.
Personal Edition: If you select this type, Oracle Universal Installer installs the same software as the Enterprise Edition installation type, but supports only a single user development and deployment environment that requires full compatibility with Enterprise Edition and Standard Edition.

  • N73 (non-music edition): How to rename my song art...

    Hello,
I'm just new to using n73 and I like my phone very organized, but I don't know how to rename artists and albums so I couldn't put them in the right categories (I've got 100+ songs on my phone, and it gets me headache). :-p
I just want to know how can I rename the artists and such so I could keep them organized....
[I have also tried the file manager on PC Suit but it won't work]

You used to be able to drag the artwork anywhere outside of iTunes (10.7). Get Info on the track, click the artwork tab, and simply try dragging the image to the desktop or folder of your chosing. You'll probably have to rename the image file to your specifications.

  • Difference between "Show All Music" and Itunes Match

    iOS 7.0.2
I can't tell the difference.  Nothing seems to change if I have only "Show All Music" selected as opposed to selecting iTunes Match.  All I want to do is have access to songs not downloaded to my phone  in iCloud.

I've since had confirmed from iTunes Store Support that-
"The answer to you question is, Yes. The music that you did not purchase form the iTunes Store will automatically be available to your devices as long as it matches with the songs available from the store. For you to understand better, I provided some articles that will confirm my answer.
If you want the benefits of iTunes in the Cloud for music you haven’t purchased from iTunes, iTunes Match is the perfect solution. It’s built right into the iTunes app on your Mac or PC and the Music app on your iOS devices. And it lets you store your entire collection, including music you’ve imported from CDs or purchased somewhere other than iTunes. For just $24.99 a year."
On the strength of that I am willing to give iTunes Match a try, I guess.

  • HT2523 What is the difference between Pages and Text Edit? Pros and Cons?

I just purchased a Macbook Pro, and I am currently exploring its features. I see that it comes with Text Edit, which seems to be its form of Microsoft Word...but I also know that you can purchase "Pages" for the computer. What is the difference? Pros and cons of each? I will be a freshman in college in the fall, so I need something that I can do lots of writing and editing on.

TextEdit is a simple basic text editor. Far from what MS Word can do. This is Pages:

  • Color differences between LR and other editing/viewing programs

Thanks for the great info here. I'm hoping someone might know the answer to a question that is driving me over the edge. I SURE would appreciate sincerely any help. My problem is this:
If I load a picture into Word, Firefox, IE, or other picture editing programs, they all look very much the same. BUT, when I load the same pic into Lightroom Beta or now Lightroom 1.0, it is SIGNIFICANTLY warmer by at least +10 or so.
This is a real problem in that if I export a pic, say, to Outlook for emailing, it looks very blue in comparison to when in LR. So, I have to go back into LR and edit the pic to a look that looks not right in LR in order for the exported pic to look right in any other viewing program.
I have calibrated my monitor, but if you note what I said above, it can't be due to calibration -- i.e., that pics look the same in all programs except LR. (I'm using Windows XP). Many thanks for any help.

  • Differences between standard and enterprise editions

I have applications deployed to both AS7 standand and enterprise editions.
For development we have dynamic reload turned on. So when I touch a file .reload in the expanded application directory $ASHOME/domains/domainname/instancename/applications/j2ee-apps/appname/.reload the application gets reloaded.
In platform and standard editions this only reloads the application whose directory the .reload file is in.
However, in enterprise edition, every application seems to get reinitialized.
I could be mistaken as we have different applications deployed to both environments. The applications on enterprise edition might just be logging more information during initialization.
Or maybe there is a configuration option that allows individual applications to be reloaded versus all the applications being reloaded.
Has anyone else run across this?

    Hi,

  • How to tell the difference between DRM (fairplay) music and non-DRM music?

Apple finally is selling non-DRM music and I've bought a couple songs in the past with ease. I like the system but I'm having a problem finding out which music is still using DRM.
Apple originally differentiated it by charging 30 cents more for the unprotected music. Now however they removed the surcharge, but there's no way to tell if the music I'm looking at is protected.
I choose not to buy DRMed music as I'm using my music to burn MP3 CDs for my car, and having to crack protection isn't the way I want to do it.
How can I tell using iTunes Store which music is DRM protected, and which music is DRM free?

Agreed, I have stopped buying from iTunes until they eliminate the restrictions, and have started replacing the songs I DID buy from iTunes with non copy protected ones from Amazon. I tell everyone not to buy from iTunes for exactly that reason. There are lots of other excellent options, which do not have the stupid restrictions that Apple has. The iPod is great, iTunes with DRM is incredibly annoying.

  • Difference between miniDV and AVCHD editing

    Hi.
My main question here is that when I'm applying the slow motion effects on footages captured using my new flash-based camcorder, the video appears jerky. [Footages without slow motion appears clear]. Some background info below:
I've been using Premier Elements 4 and recently version 7 to do all my video editing work. My old videocam used miniDV tapes and when working with these footages I can simply download the footages using Premier Elements using the PAL-DV project settings. I can work on the footages adding effects such as slow motion and the final DVD appears clear, smooth and fine.
HOWEVER, I recently bought the new Canon HF11. When working with these footages, I select the PAL-AVCHD project settings. Almost all the final footages (output to DVD) appears very clear and smooth with the exception of the footages in slow motion - it appears very jerky.
I thought that the jerkyness is caused when you choose the wrong project setting (ie. upper vs lower field first) - by choosing the PAL-AVCHD project setting, I would've thought that it should be fine.
The way I'm able to get around this is to deinterlace the footages with the slow motion effect. My question is why do I need to deinterlace the footages when working with AVCHD, considering that I do not have to do this when working with footages from miniDV tapes? Am I doing something wrong or is this how AVCHD works (ie. have to de-interlace slow motion footages?)
Just trying to understand how this whole AVCHD format works, etc. Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Stein

Here's the specs of my camera:
    http://canon.com.au/products/digital_video_cameras/home/HF11_specs.aspx
Looks like it's AVCHD at 25p (or 50i)
I'm copying the files directly to the computer - ie. plug the camcorder to my PC, an external drive appears in Windows Exploer - I just copy the MTS files to my PC.
I just did some more testing and even de-interlacing it doesn't fully fix the jerkyness of the final footages on DVD.

  • What's the difference between educational and student editions of Flash?

I qualify for both the educational and student editions of Adobe CS4, and I'm not sure which one to buy.
Does the educational version have any significant advantages over the student version?
Can the educational version be used for commercial purposes (I know the student one can't)?
Are there any extra features or templates that are only available in the educational version and above?
Can I transfer the liscense for the student version to another computer?
My trial version lasts only 5 more days and I hope to have purchased a registered edition by than
Thanks in advance for any replies

Thanks I did some further research
    and
    According to http://www.studentdiscounts.com.au
    The student edition:
...Limit of one per customer per 12 month period can be purchased.
Students will be required to provide Adobe with proof of their current student status to install the product. Students must be enrolled in a degree-granting program at an acceptable Education Institution (being a bona fide university or college including community, junior and vocational colleges or other further education colleges that grants degrees requiring not less than the equivalent of two (2) years of full time study) OR Students must be enrolled at an accredited public or private secondary school providing full-time instruction.
This software may only be used on a privately-owned computer. The product may not be used for commercial purposes.
    The educational edition:
<Description same as full version with nothing mentioned about commercial purposes.>
    unresolved/further questions:
There are some other people which say that the educational version can be used for commercial purposes. e.g.
    http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=369107
    http://www.designerstalk.com/forums/software/25666-adobe-student-licensing.html (POST # 14)
If one designed a logo/animation for a friend's small business would adobe consider that as a "commercial purpose".
As for the "...limit of one per customer per 12 month period can be purchased" really mean?
It kind of implies that the student edition is only activated for 12 months (an extended trail version)
According to  http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=369107 the educational version can be upgraded but the student one can't.
    Is this true?

  • What is the difference between retail and student edition of Creative Cloud?

They both list the same contents and price, so what's the point in buying one instead of the other?

The Creative Cloud Photography Plan is the same price for individuals and students/teachers.
It wasn't clear that you were asking about the Photography Plan initially, so apologies for any confusion caused.
