Can anyone please tell me the difference between the Pro A300-21F and the Pro L300-1RS as the specs on the Tosh pages appear to be identical.
As we all are, I am seeking the most powerful machine at the lowest cost. Tks

L750-12Q has USB 3.0 and L750-10F has USB 2.0.

L750-12Q is offered in Poland and L750-10F in Germany.

Differences between Premiere Elements 11 and Pro CS6?

I would like to know the differences between Adobe Premiere Elements 11 and Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 in relation to video editing. If someone can point me to any resource on the web like a comparision chart of features, differences etc that would be perfect. I understand the Premiere Pro CS6 would have a lot of extra bell and whistles, special effects etc... but what I would like to know if there is a difference in terms of the the quality of the Final Product?
Our needs for a video editor are very simple. We need to create simple titles and text overlay to show the name of the speaker and/or topic. A few times we the audio was not recorded on the video camcera but we do have the audio recorded for the event on a separate audio recorder in .WAV format. So we would like to sync up the video with this audio. Can this be done in Adobe Premiere Elements 11?
And in cases where the audio was recorded with video, we would like to increase the gain/volume for the audio or clean up some hum or background noise. Can this be done in Adobe Premiere Elements 11?
That is it, we do not need any special effects or animations etc... Please let me know if Adobe Premiere Elements 11 can help us meet our needs. If there is any other software that would be more suitable please advise.

If your video and audio contain a clap, you can manually sync by sliding the audio peak along the video. The audio wave form will be blanked out when sliding, with a frame counter showing how many whole frames you have moved the audio at each moment, so it is a "drag, stop, compare, drag another frame or two, stop, compare" process that works. APE11 allows adjusting the volume levels and also provides level normalization if desired, but more involved audio cleanup such as hiss and hum removal, compression, or auto gain are not available.

You should download the APE11 trial to judge for yourself how well it will meet all your needs.

Differences between Satellite S500-116 and Satellite S500-11R

I would like to buy some of these notebooks fpr my company but I'm a little confused, because the only difference between these models that I found was that the 116 has a HD-Webcam, which I don't care about but still
But then I wonder why the 11R is more expensive....
Please help me because I would really want to choose Toshiba over Fujitsu Lifebook :)

It seems that both models are designed for the German market
Anyway, they are equipped with the same CPU, RAM, graphic card, etc. The only difference seems to be the webcam, S500-116 has a HD webcam.

Difference Between Logic Express 8 and Pro 8

I was close to purchasing Logic Express after finding out the store ran out of Logic Pro. I held off Express because i wasn't sure if i would get "some" of the same features. Im mostly looking for the feature that Pro has, where the audio "time stretches" itself according to tempo. I know earlier versions of Express couldn't do that. I didn't know if Express editing was the same as Pro. I like the fact that in Pro you can just grab and cut audio instead of double clicking the audio and editing it in a separate window (WEAK)!!!

Difference between Satellite A500-025 and A500-02F

Satellite A500-02F costs about 10% more than Satellite A500-025.
Is the Satellite A500-02F much better and worth the extra money or are they basically the same . The Satellite A500-02F has a T6066 chip compared to T6065 in the Satellite A500-025 much difference?
The Satellite A500-02F has DDR3 memory, will this make much difference? Any other differences?

I think you have already answered the question yourself. The Satellite A500-02F has a faster CPU and DDR3 memory. It should be a little bit faster in programs they need a high CPU performance and in games for example.
Its also depending on the programs that you want to use but I would choose the faster model. I dont buy every year a new notebook so I would choose the faster one and 10% difference isnt so much. ;)

Im not quite sure if the software is identical. You could try to use the drivers from European and from Australian driver page.
But generally its advisable and recommended to use the drivers and tools from Toshiba Australian driver page if you have got a Satellite A10 PSA10A.
If you have got a Satellite A10 PSA10E then you should use the drivers and tools from European driver page.

Difference between Satellite L775-111 and L775-13D

These two laptops have the same specs except the 13D is 6GB RAM and 29 pounds cheaper. Am I missing something?

Any real difference between a 1.83 and 2.0 MacBook Pro?

I have recently bought a MacBook Pro 1.83 GHz model. It was on sale at my local computer store and I thought it was a good find, as it was brand new and was selling for £1099, a £300 saving on the 2.0 GHz model. Before I start using it, I just wanted to know if anyone knew if there was a real performance difference between the two and should I have paid the extra £300 to get the 2.0 GHz machine?
I only ask this, as I know that over time Apple sometimes tweak the machine to improve it and (after talking with someone at Apple), I've been told that there have been 5 or 6 changes to the inner workings (or revisions as they called them), and I wondered if this changed the performance or if it was just minor improvements regarding heat and noise and so on.
To finish, does anyone have any speculation as if this is a good time to buy a MacBook Pro with the introduction of the Core 2 Duo chips in the new iMacs?

So what you are saying is that the 170 MHZ difference between the 1.83 and the 2.0 is noticeable, but the 160 MHZ difference between the 2.0 and the 2.16 is not?
I thought we were passed the marketing gimmicks and the clock speed race, but I guess not.
Clock speed doesn't tell you anything about the performance of a CPU. Intel almost ran themselves into the ground by trying to pump up their clock speeds and feeding that tripe to the masses. AMD focused on a solid architecture that created a robust chip. As a result AMD took the lead in performance and stability.
Intel's greatest achievement to date has been the PIII Coppermine. So good was this architecture that they have gone back to it. The Centrinos are based off the Coppermines as are the dual cores.
The point of the story is that clock speed means nothing. Save your cash and put it to better use by getting a 7200 rpm drive or more RAM.

I would like to know if there is any difference between the 15 inch MacBook Pro produced at the end of 2008 and the one produced AFTER iLife 09 has been launched (at the beginning of 2009). Hi, I think I know why Apple is able to offer 8gb ram support on the revised 2.66 MBP and not on the 2.53 or 2.4 MBP.

There are TWO different revisions. The first is B2 and the latter is B3.
I think that the former does not support 8GB of RAM and the latter does. That explains why the 17'' has support and now the NEWs 15'' also have, Apple gave the 15'' not only a speed bump but also the newer revision of the chipset!

Note that iStatPro has not been updated in quite awhile and may not be reading the guts of a totally new system correctly. IIRC, the Late 2011 MBPs were beginning to tax iStatPro already, as they had newer sensors the older code was completely unaware of.
For strictly measuring temps on the guts of these newer Macs, maybe use Marcel Bresink's free Temperature Monitor? Last updated in March 2012. In my Late 2011 15" MBP, it picks up all 18 sensors...

Sorry but according all possible documents I have found on the Internet Satellite A210-11C is definitely PSAEGE and I didnt found any with PSAFGE part number. Where you picked up this info?
