    Hi LarryMeikle
The biggest difference between Photoshop CS6 and Photoshop CC is that Photoshop CC is subscription-based--you have to subscribe to Adobe's Creative Cloud service to use it.  Also, Photoshop CC includes new features that were not in Photoshop CS6.
Let us know if that helps.
    Thanks!

  • Difference between using new Date() and new Date(System.currentTimeMillis()

    Hi All,
I have seen many open source api's where they are updating dates with the following code
    new Date(System.currentTimeMillis())

what is the difference between using new Date() and new Date(System.currentTimeMillis()) ??
    Thanks,
    J.Kathir

when i print the new Date() it prints the same
It does because of backward compatability. This constructor exists in version 1.3.1 but not in newer versions.Really ? Please point me to where you read that.
API doc 1.5 : new Date() (still there, not even deprecated)
A quick look at the code for this constructor:    /**
         * Allocates a <code>Date</code> object and initializes it so that
         * it represents the time at which it was allocated, measured to the
         * nearest millisecond.

  • Difference in sound between Logic on PPC and Intel (64 Bit)

    hi,
I'm using PPC for Logic Pro. Is there any difference in sound between using logic pro on PPC and running it on Intel Macs. I'm not good in tecnical things, but someone told me, Logic would sound better on Intel based Macs, because the system is 64 bit instead of 32 bit on PPC. Is that true? Any experiences?
    Thanx,
    grooveX

    There are no differences!
the "sound quality" is stryctly relted with the Audio equipment.
(the new Intel Xeon processors are faster than PPC... in 2008... obviously... but in 2003/4/5 PPC G5 was much faster than same year 2003 Intel Xeon release
If you work with DAE TDM HD accell in PPC or on Intel the sound will be the same...
obviosly if some update shoot down the compatibilty with PPC side you will cannot use the future upgrades...
if you use a Motu 828 Mk3 the sound will be great... and same as ppc or Intel or Windows and Linux
(but Logic works on Mac... PPC and Intel... is the same... logic is the master of the sound).
Anyway... I think the analog recording studio in the 1970 1990 gives you a super great sound... in some cases the analog recording studio sonds much better that digital studios..
I'm talking about a simple example.. the audio frequency are from 20 to 20.000 HZ... the music quality... (artistically) is not related with the quality of the machine that you use for make it....
I suggest you not follow the mode ... and run to buy the last model .. most often are money thrown to the wind.
if you buy a good new interface.... you are in the rigth way...
but the very important thing is:
MAKE YOUR MUSIC AND DON'T MATTER ABOUT these unnecessary competitions ... is only useful to those who sells computer!
I know people that doing good music with old G4 ...
    ...music with highest quality ...
is not the machine that makes the music .... Only MEN can obtain a piece of art ... even using dirt!

Quite frankly my first response to them would be: why do you even care?
That would be quickly followed by: do you have any meaningful questions you would like to ask? Perhaps something that might actually be relevant to what you do here?
I personally don't care if someone has memorized the syntax required to create DDL/DML. I care whether they know how and when to use it.
Check the docs for the syntax diagram and from at least 9i on it will be similar to this from 9i

Your question isn't clear, but I would like to say that, I've many times used this particular property node for clear the data (graph) from the chart.
I am not allergic to Kudos, in fact I love Kudos.

  • Can any computer use 2.4 and 5 ghz?

I need to change the frequency of a router and computer.  can any computer use both frequency?  I know about the router, but not the computer.

Most very recent computers will have wireless cards that use both bands.. if you don't know look up the specs on the computer.
But cheaper end will still be 2.4ghz only. And a lot of older stuff will be 2.4ghz.. because it has better range and is more compatible.

  • What's the differences of optimizer_features_enable between 8.1.7 and 9.2 i

Everyone , now i may to change the optimizer_features_enable to set is 8.1.7 due to have urgent performance issues after upgrade from 8i to 920 . I know the default value of optimzier_features_enable is 9.2 in 9i and it is a database level parameter. So i want to know all the differences of optimizer_features_enable between 9.2 and 8.1.7 . It will impact the whole system if changed it to 8.1.7 ? Thanks in advance !!

It will, obviously, affect the entire database. Setting optimizer_features_enable to 8.1.7 basically turns the CBO in your database back to an 8.1.7 CBO. There are a fairly large number of changes between 8.1.7 and 9.2, many in hidden parameters. I don't believe Oracle publishes a list of differences, but there are folks out there that have researched the differences. Wolfgand Breitling has a couple of papers on the subject http://www.centrexcc.com/

  • How much of a difference is there, if any, between an MBP A1260 and MBP A1286??

I want to get a cover for my refurbished Macbook Pro and though my model # isn't "listed" in my System Preferences what I do get is MacBook Pro4,1 Early 2008.  I asked through here if someone could tell me what model that was and I was told A1260.  When I have searched for covers for my MBP A1260, I keep getting A1286.  Is there a big difference or is that in the same series so that if I ordered the cover it would fit or it will be too big or too small?? Thanks for any help with this.........much appreciated.

Here is a view of the A1260 specs which are for an MBP early-2008 model 15".
And the A1286 specs which are for an MBP late-2008 and above model 15".
They are both 15" models so size-wise you shouldn't have a problem getting the cover you want for an A1286 model.

  • Difference between used disk space and folder space

My startup harddrive (an SSD) info gives that 88 GB are used. If I open it in OS X and look at info for all the folders in it, their summed used space is 24GB. Thus 64 GB are used to unknown purpose and cannot be used.
This problem seems to appear from using migration assistant to transfer from my old mac to a slightly newer. Both running Yosemite 10.10.1. I had to shutdown the migration because the computers seemed so lose contact with each other and the end of the migration seemed to go on for ever.

  • Difference between using IP unnumbered and using IP's

I have a G2 router with the sm-700 for remote site and an appliance for the date center.
I followed the quick config guide and have it all working. This is using IP's on the interface SM1/0. for the router SM
Then I wanted to try it with IP unnumbered on interface SM1/0, cant get it to work.
WCCP packets are not increasing when I run wccp statistics on the device.
    the router config looked like this;
    int g0/0
    ip address 10.1.1.1 255.255.255.0
    int sm1/0
    ip unnumbered g0/0
    service-module ip address 10.1.1.240 255.255.255.0
    service-module ip default-gateway 10.1.1.1
    ip route 10.1.1.1 255.255.255.255 SM1/0
    does this look right?

This statement does not look correct to me:
    ip route 10.1.1.1 255.255.255.255 SM1/0
You need to put a route towards SM IP in this statement, that is:
    ip route 10.1.1.240 255.255.255.255 SM1/0
    See http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/routers/access/interfaces/software/feature/guide/ism-sm-sre.html#wp1056674 for example.

  • Is there a difference in quality between importing into 08 and Final Cut Pr

When importing video from a DV camera, is there a difference in the quality of the raw video recorded onto the Hard Drive between iMovie 08, iMovie 6 and Final Cut Pro?
Will I get better quality using Final Cut?
    Thanks
    Kevin

sorry for 'overwhelming' you with info
yes, all apps copy the dv-encoded material from miniDV devices 'natively' = lossless import..
but only iM08 then adds some 'loss' .. nobody knows exactly, what & how.. but you are not able to EXport lossless from within iM08 ..
example: import dv, export dv = adds blurr and 'magnifies' somehow the same file .. ( ! )
using iMHD≤6, FCE/P allows you, to export lossless = highest quality possible (except the parts of your project, which need renderning, e.g. titles, transitions...)
example: import dv, export dv = same quality ...
so, if _pic quality_ is your major concern, avoid iM08 ..
if you want fast results and export quality doesn't matter: iM08
if you want a Library off all imports ever and full integration into AppleTV/, YT.. = iM08
if you want other codecs than dv and simple use = iM08
if you want all imports for any future project and high dv quality = FCE/P
if you want easy to use and high dv quality = iMHD≤6 ..
if you want other codecs than dv and Hollywood quality = FCP
