Difference in Applecare model number

I am wondering if anyone might tell me the differnce between model #s MA519LL/A and MD014LL/A. Both would seem to be usable for a MBA 13. I'm guessing the MA519LL/A is an older model; but wonder if it is still valid.

With no response on this thread, and absolutely no help from Apple support call center, I bit the bullet and purchased the newer model - at the elevated cost.
Apple will not state whether the old version is valid, or invalid. So, if you try to save the money by purchasing the old model, you may get an incredible bargain, or waste your money.
If your up for the gamble, buy the older version and see if it works. It it does, please post back here for others to know. Otherwise go the safe route.
You can purchase the newer model cheaper than Apple sells it, though. I got mine (at a slight savings) from a place called L.A. Computer(?) (or something like that), a certified Apple reseller.

Sorry but what do you mean multiple model numbers? I just ordered the Apple Care package and on the website it lists MBP 13" for one price and MBP 15" & 17" for another, higher, price.
I just checked the website and don't se any model numbers listed. Checking again.
Still don't see anything with model numbers on it.
If your MBP is more then 1 year out of production then Apple Care is not available for that model.

Universal Dock Model Number

I have just purchased an Apple Universal Dock (with remote), to be used to connect my Nano (and soon iPhone 3G) to a pair of Audioengine A5 active speakers.
The dock I've purchased has a model number MB125G/A.
Browsing the net, I've found the Universal Dock with model number MB125G/B.
Any body know the difference between the A and the B model?
I've tried phoning Apple tech. support but they couldn't answer the question.
I just want to make sure that I've not just purchased an out-of-date model.

It seems, percentage of the battery level is always not correct (may change suddenly ± ~30 %). I suppose, I already did this procedure that you mentioned a few times not specially and it was no change. It is strange that even changing the battery did not solve incorrect level indication. Notwithstanding this is not so important problem, I can live with this. Fast drain of the battery is the biggest problem, which is not acceptable at all.

Difference Between Appraisal Model and Appraisal Doc

Hi Experts,
Please do let me know the difference between Appraisal Model and Appraisal Documents (Appraisal Template).
I mean in terms of functionality.
when are where to use them.
Through Appraisal model i m unable to create Appraisals for n number of employees in one shot. i.e, appraisals to be created for each individual of a department in one go.
i know this transaction PHAP_PREPARE_PA which will create mass Appraisal Doc's but i want to create Appraisal which can be stored in Infotype 0025.
Plz suggest.

the basic difference you are looking at is the old appraisal model
and the new MBO
the old appraisal model very much supports infotype 25 and you can view the data in there,
but once you activate the MBO you cannot have the old module active practically.
In the PHAP_prepare_pa transaction can be used for mass dipatch of appraisal documents,
select the second option for the same in the list .
The second option will allow you to select org unit which will allow to assign to all employees in the selected org. Unit.

Hello,
I have a Toshiba SA80 127 . Is there any way i can find out the model number of the US version of this Laptop ? since i probably need some repairs/replacements on parts (cooling fan/ LCD).

I agree with Homer
Contact the ASP in your country and ask the guys for the compatible fan or cooling module
In my knowledge there is no big difference between an European models and the US notebook series.
I assume both notebooks like Satellite A80-127 (EU) and A80-S178TD (US) would use the same cooling modules.
But this is only my personal opinion and you should definitely ask the ASP to ensure that the parts are the same.

As an example i have file contains 4 lines, xtext parsed this file and generated its model, then i made small modification in line number 3, so xtext partially parsed the file and generated another model.
The question is could we get the nodes that has been deleted from the model?

Audigy 2 ZS Notebook Model Numb

I'm having slight difficulties choosing the right PCMCIA card for my notebook. A guy mentioned I should buy the card with model number 70SB053002002, made availible april 2005, hence it was a newer version with better cardbus compatibilities. Can you confirm this?Which model number should I choose?70SB053000006 or 70SB053002002?And if you would be so kind, could you break down the differences, if any, other than the compatibility issue. ? A soundfont cannot contain alle drumkits, and it is not nessecary at all. I dont know a soundfont bank wich contains a complete set of drumkits, too. There are only some soundfonts like the crysis soundfont (to big for its "bad" quality) wich have some dummy-drumkits/ entrys or slightly modified sounds for each than usual. If all drumnkits would be stored in high-quality, the soundfont would be huge... Every synth i know uses the standard drumkit, if the chosen one is not existent. This is not optimal, but it will guarantee, that the the MIDI file or Program/ game will work. The KXDrivers wont do this. SO they are not useable for General MIDI. Only for MIDIs and soundfonts fitting together. But thats not the point of General MIDI. CMSS isnt working with these drivers, too. Dolby decoding/ encoding isnt possible with them, either. These drivers are not bad, but if you want a completely working card, KXdrivers are worthless.

now im telling u something: Im not an computer idot who doesnt know to make a complete newinstall of an driver. Im studing computer sience. And i have already reinstall the driver completly and im not going reinstall vista! Ok i have not so much digital audio knowleage. And the creative knowlaege base and the helpfile is an joke (doesnt found why i couldnt activate dolby). Its now the first time that i have found that i can read the model number on the package...... And its quite a joke that u sell sound card with different specifics on the same name. Im sorry that you have that u have so much bad support requeusts. But im suching for long for a resolution and im realy fustrated. The support is in the most cases realy bad. The most time i get support repley there with wrong solution because sb has just read a part of the mail. Thats not only you. Asus, sony ericsson....... I have now google so much and dont find a real solution for this beause its really the dam problem. I had realy not understood why the card not give an nice 5. signal to my amp. I never see an dts or dolby symbol in the menu. Never decoder options or passtrougth (ok i know its automatik activated, creative told activate it's!) and i have just bougth the card for my amp. But now i have now found the problem "SB046A" (no decoder)... know that because i saw a picuture of the decoder option and its that what i really need. I try to install an mod driver who have fixed much thinks and hope the card has the future and it is only a software difference. And its a joke to fix this with a 5$ very old power dvd software. Im completly sure that the games crash on the open al. Im realy realy disappointed because of that. Realtek brings ofter driver and look it also support the amp. Dont know why but i have a realy 5.. Ok it has not so much soundhardwarefutures like creative but the driver are very good. So i hope i have now right and good explaind it, because my english is ver bad.

So I have my board, which is the bulk version of the Audigy 2 ZS to see if there is indeed any difference between it and the retail models. Back on the sticker it still says SB0350 as model number, the same printed on the board. The Serial Number is: MSSB035047900802T. I also checked the DACs, and found two types: a Cirrus Logic CS4382-KQ 8-channel 24-bit 4SNR CODEC and a 2-channel Sigmatel AC9750, which has a SNR of only 89dB and a resolution of 20-bits.
Is this configuration the same as the retail model? And what is the purpose of the cheap 2nd DAC?

When I bought it even then only it said P500. Just out of curiosity I wanted to ask that can I install a 2nd HDD ??? There is a compartment below I saw....
I wanted to ask also that I hear a sound below the left speaker like if the wings of the fan are touching something !! The sound is barely there but when it is turned on it's audible for 2 secs a bit loud than becomes quite but still is there if listened very very carefully. Just wanted to ask is it something alarming or I should just forget it. Because I love it as it is performing awesomely. No problems what so ever. It runs smoothly. I even updated the BIOS. Although I read in the forums many complaints of people about the P500 & also about the BIOS problem that occured after the update from toshiba service station. Thanks to God my laptop is working smoothly.

Do you mean the model number or the serial number? Both are available in the "More Info" link within "About This Mac" (on the first tab, "Hardware"). You can also find the serial number under your battery.

I have had the exact same issue but with a projector.
The issue lies with Mountian Lion 10.8.2.
I tried many a combination with no luck to get HDMI working.
Took my mac into the apple store and came to the conclusion it was the software, so I asked them to install 10.8 onto it (this is destructive so a backup is a must)
Bought my macbook home and voila, now displaying through my projector.
There is a small graphics update after 10.8.1 which seems to be the cause.

Satellite Pro A300D - What is the model number for the keyboard?

My husband managed to dislodge a keycap on my keyboard, and broke the white scissor clip that holds hit on...(don't ask me how)
He spoke to the authorised service centre here in Norway, and they sent us replacement scissor clips (actually they sent an old non-functioning keyboard) but the clips are of a different design to the ones on my laptop.
I was wondering if anyone has an idea of the model/serial number of the keyboard used in the Satellite Pro A300D-151 (PSAK9E) so I can get the correct replacement part.
I really don't want to have to replace the whole keyboard when it's just 1 of the scissor clips that is broken...the laptop is only 5 months old.

Sorry buddy but its not possible to exchange some single keys on a keyboard so in this case you must replace the complete keyboard. But normally this should not be so difficult.
Either you exchange the keyboard yourself or you sent the notebook to the authorized service provider.
The model number for the keyboard is not known to me but contact your ASP!! They can order all Toshiba parts and they should know the right part number.
