Difference in PO price

I  have got an issue,
In interface the current Net price  is $27,788.41 but SAP Value for same order is $28,077.84.
So difference is $ 289.43, which is higher than interface price.
Could you please tell me, why SAP price is higher than interface net  price???
Thanks in advance,
natraj

Hi,
Go to MR21 and correct the MAP ( moving average price) for that material.
Probable reasons:
Check the currency in purchase order.
If freight value is there then check the currency for the same.

  • Difference in GR price and goods issue price

    hi all,
we are facing problem in difference in goodsrecipt price and goods issue price.
material is maintained with moving average price.
we do GR  (101) for full month and the last day we do goods issue for some quantities. (201 mvt type)
while chekcing the material  price, goods issue price is less than the goods recipt price.( total value / total stock )
what is the possibilities of the difference and where we can identify the changes.?
price also not updated through MR21.
    regards,
    Vinay

    hi vinay,
Please check the order prices for the material. Are you purchasing the material from a single vendor or multiple vendors? What is the price that you have maintained for each vendor in the info-records? If you have maintained different prices, the valuation of your material will keep changing with each GR since your material has price control V. During GR, the P.O. price is taken. During GI, the Moving Average price is taken from material master. When you do the goods issue at the end of the month, the Moving average price AT THAT POINT OF TIME  is taken for posting to the Consumption Account / Stock Account. Hence, you will have a difference in the GR / GI values. I suggest, after every GR, you go to MB03. Check the material document and the accounting document. Alongside, look at the Accounting View of the material and note the M.A. price. When you do the GI, note the M.A. price.
    Revert back if not clear.
    Regards,
    Rahul.

  • Why there are big differences in the prices of spare parts (hinge) ..?? particular egypt ibm

I have Lenovo 3000 N200 0769 with problem in left hinge lcd , the number of it i think (41W5214) 15.4 lcd.
lenove egypt (IBM) was told to me cost 100 $ but in Many sites (hinge) cost betwen 19 $ , 30$ , 80 $
i want to understand why there are a big difference betwen prices , and why the ibm egypt is  Highest price...!!!
i was asked  ibm egypt can replace (Repair) it , if I bought one by my self from internet , but refuse my Request and told to me you must bought it from egypt ibm !!!
    thank you

it`s hinge!!!! just Metal hinge !!??
not hardware like ram or H.d or vga.....etc
original or not it`s nothing important like other hardware must be original
if you see the hinge pic (41W5214) you will know what i mean about 80$ differences in the prices
    and
why lenovo Egypt refuse my Request to replace (Repair) it , if I bought one by my self ??
the answer is Forced to purchase an Expensive one from lenovo Egypt "kind of business" and customers not important to agree or disagree
I hope Lenovo tighten the control of the Egypt Branch, with some simplification

  • PRD-Auto Post price differences to different price difference accounts

    Dear all,
As I know, in Account Automatic Posting, the transaction key  PRD is for Cost price Difference.
If I want to post price differences to different price difference accounts in the case of goods receipts for different cost in purchase orders, How can I configure it?
Example, in PO, there is 2 costs: Freight (F) and Insurance(I) are key in as Condition Type.
I would like to post price difference from F to account XXX, and  price difference from I to account YYY.
    Can I configure like this?
Thank you very much for your support!
    Cao Huy

    Hello,
    What is price difference.
Price differences arise for materials valuated at standard price in the case of all movements and invoices with a value that differs from the standard price. Examples: goods receipts against purchase orders (if the PO price differs from the standard pricedardpreis), goods issues in respect of which an external amount is entered, invoices (if the invoice price differs from the PO price and the standard price).
Price difference in genereal will not trigger for the materials with price control V ( Moving average price) but however
Price differences can also arise in the case of materials with moving average price if there is not enough stock to cover the invoiced quantity. In the case of goods movements in the negative range, the moving average price is not changed. Instead, any price differences arising are posted to a price difference account
For you example, you have you are having PO with Freight (F) and Insurance(I), these are called pallned delivery costs, not Price difference,
so create two different condition type for Freight and insurance and assign two different G/L accounts for these condition types in account determination.
While posting system will hit perticular G/L acconut.

  • DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GROSS PRICE, NET PRICE AND EFFECTIVE PRICE

    HI FRIENDS,
CAN YOU EXPLAIN ME IN DETAIL, WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GROSS PRICE, NET PRICE AND EFFECTIVE PRICE WITH A GOOD EXAMPLE.
    REGARDS.

    Hi,
    Example: Material Price is Rs.1000/-
& Discount is 10% and tax is 10% and freight is Rs.50/-,Fixed( it may also %)
So Here the Material Price is called Gross Price Rs.1000/-
    Gross Price (Rs.1000/-) – Discount {Rs100/-(10% of Rs.1000/-)}= Net Price Rs.900/-
    Here Net Price Rs.900/-
    Tax Rs. 90/- (Rs.900/- +Rs.90=Rs990/- is called sub-total)
    Freight Rs. 50/-
    Rs.1040/-
The Total Price (Rs.1040/-) is called Effective Price.
    Note:
    1) Total value = total quantity x price
When a price changes, the value of the stock changes, since the value is calculated from the price:( its also depends on price Control)
    2) Effective (actual) price: Net price minus cash discount and plus miscellaneous provisions and delivery costs as well as non-deductible input tax.

  • Report on difference between PO price and Material standard price

    Hi,
We need a report on Purchase price difference, which is report showing Open PO price & Material standard price, if there is a price difference
This need to be run every day to avoid buyer changing price at PO level unless there is a valid reason
Similarly difference if any between Schedule agreement price & Material master standard price
    Please help

    Hi,
There is no standard report available for this.
    You need to develop one.
Considering your requirement, it can be achieved with a query as well provided you do not need complex functionality out of the report.
    Hope this helps.

  • Abnormal difference in PO price & GR price-urgent

    Hi,
I am facing a strange situation where there is a huge difference between the PO price for a particular item & the GR value. There has been no Invoice done for this material.
Initially stock was uploaded through mov type 561 with proper value.
Than after that GR has been done once for this material & there is a huge difference between GR & PO value
The material has Moving average price. When i am cancelling the GR , the price revaluation account is getting hit.
Please throw some light on  the probable reason for the problem...& how to solve it.

    Hi,
Go to MR21 and correct the MAP ( moving average price) for that material.

  • Foreign Exchange difference posted to price difference account at MIGO

    Hi,
We have a problem regarding posting foreign exchange rate difference at the time of GR.
We are costing materials at the beginning of year, and purchases made during the year as per PIR will result in legitimate price difference which is posted to price difference account.  Thatu2019s working alright.
Now, due to new business requirement, we maintained PIR in MXN (Mexican peso), & standard cost is converted in local currency USD as per exch. rate maintained in OB08.
Now, when we do GR, the difference of foreign exchange at the time of Std. cost & GR date is posted to Price difference account instead of foreign exchange account.  For eg. Std .cost of material A is 1000 MXN, and GR cost of material X is also 1000 MXN, however corresponding USD is different because of different foreign exchange rate.
Will appreciate if someone can suggest on how can we post it to exch.rate diff.account instead of price diff. acct. ?
    Thanks,
    Nirav

    Hi,
    Thanks for your replies.
We have already maitained exch.rate GL OBYC-KDM, which is successfully posted with the exch.rate diff.arising out of GR & IV at the time of IV.
I'm talking about price difference in Std. cost & GR value because of exch.rate diff.
For example, Std cost for Material A is 1000 MXN converted to $100 with exch.rate of 10. Now, GR happens with 1000 MXN converted to $200 with prevailing exch.rate of 5. Please note that std. cost and GR is the same price 1000 MXN, but USD amount is changed resulting $100 gets posted to PRICE DIFFERENCE Account, whereas we want to post it to FOREIGN Exch. diff.A/c becuase it's arising out of exch, rate difference.
Please let me know if it makes sense.
    Thanks,
    Nirav

  • Refund for difference in CD price

I purchased a CD on Nov 21 for $10.99 and today (11/27) it's $6.99!  How do I get a refund for the difference???

I don't think you can.  That's how the market works.  Maybe some stores offer a price drop guarantee but at best it's only for maybe 30 days and it isn't the case with anything Apple sells as far as I know.  At best with some hardware you can return it within a time window and then buy it again at the cheaper price I guess.  You're talking about an album though and iTunes Store sales policy is all sales are final.

  • Difference between Sales price (VKP0) and further sales price (VKP1)

    Hi,
Please could anyone help me to understand the difference between VKP0 and VKP1. In which scenario, both will be used in SAP Retail?
    Thanks,
    Ashish Kumar

    Hi
As per your given example :-
    In VA01 screen;
    Material:100000939 ; quantity: 1.000,000kg Unit price:146,62 total:146.620,00
    But;
    VF01 screen;
    Material:100000939 ; quantity:432 (Batch1)
    quantity:366 (Batch2)
    quantity:162 (Batch3)
If you check you will find that system is calcultaing correctly.
In above case total material delivered is 960 Kg (432366162) and reate is 1000 per Kg. so total value is 140755.20. and if you calculate the price separately for each batches separately it will be 63339.84, 53662.92, and 23752.44 for the batches with quantity 432, 366, and 162 respectively. If you add these value it will be same as the value for 960Kg.
Now in any case if you are getting some difference in paise then you may use Price Condition Type DIFF or round off the Price Condition.

  • Value Differences on Material Prices

    Hi guys
I have a requirement where they want to see the material standard price and the new cost after running the costing estimate.
I knw that I can obtain the material std price in table MBEW. But where can i obtain the new price of material when I am NOT saving my cost estimate - since we do that ONLY at year end?
Is there a way out of this?
    Thank you
    Rukshana

Both the standard price and the saved cost estimate can be extracted from KEKO/KEPH table. All cost estimates are stored here. When a cost estimate is released to the material master, there is a status that updates that this has been released. Based on the status can be extracted. The logic to identify a cost estimate may include, the minum of restriction by valuation variant, lowever level not equal to 0, Costing date.

  • Difference of Unit Price in Order and Invoice

    Hi All,
We have created an order for 50 pieces of a material whose cost as maintained in the Material Master is $285.70 for 1000 pieces which is copied over to the order as $0.2857.
In the Billing document the cost is copied as $0.29 for a piece from the preceding document.
The rounding off is causing a discrepancy in the ultimate Condition Value between Sales and Billing document
Please let us know the cause of discrepancy and how should this be rectified.
    Regards
    Pratheb Nadarajah

    Hi
At the conditons types level, there is a rounding rule configuration, check copy controls how is pricing determined there.
    Reward if this helps

  • GR and IR price difference.

    Hello Gurus,
I am facing one issue. We have a PO created of lets say 1000 qty and the condition rate for it is 1.5. Now GR is been done of 100 qty then in the GR, the amount is local currency should be 150, but the amount is coming entirely different. It is higher than 150, say 170. Now when i am doing IR at that time 150 is coming as the value and hence there is a difference in IR and GR. I checked the currency and its all same. Also I checked the exchange rate, that is also same. Please let me know from where Amount field in GR comes. Is it calculated through Moving Average price in MM.

Amount in GR comes from standard cost in material master. Entry will be:
    Inventory A/c Dr           170
To GR/IR A/c                       150 (based on condition rates)
To Price Difference A/c           20 (difference between standard price and condition rate)
At the time of invoice receipt:
    GR/IR A/c  Dr             150 (Original condition amount)
Price Difference A/c      10 (new price increase)
To Vendor A/c                     160 (total vendor liability)
    Please award points if useful.

  • GR/IR Price Difference

This is somewhat complicated to explain but let me give it a whirl.
What has happened is we have receipted an item in at 4570, then we invoiced it at 4800 (taxes and unplanned delivery costs)
For some reason the item was unreceipted a month later at the invoice price of 4800, then it was receipted back in, but it receipted back in at the PO price of 4570. How did this occur.
There were 3 line items on the PO
The 1st line item was receipted and paid no issues, the second one is the one I have issues with, and the third one was receipted and unrecipted, then the price was changed to 0.00 and receipted back in again.
When I look at the MB51 and look at the PO movements, I see the two reversals (102) however, for some reason it seems that line 2 and 3 became lines 1 and 2, because I see a 102 movement for line item 1, however this never occured on the PO.
This helps me understand how when line 2 was receipted back in it came at the 4570 price because it took the price from what was actually line 3 (never invoiced)
Hopefully this makes sense to somebody. I am trying to recreate this in a test environment so I can understand why this occured. I have not had any luck yet. If anybody has any suggestions or needs further clarifications please let me know.
    Thanks for your time.
