Difference in Premium vs. Standard?

I was online with chat, and they weren't much help.
I am trying to understand what this feature is/means in Premium:
Customize Business Catalyst sites to suit your customers
That doesn't make any sense.  How is that different from a standard plan where you can develop and design sites to suit your client's needs??
What are they talking about?  Just customizing the statistics and reporting?  If I have clients paying directly instead of invoicing through me, they won't be surprised to find out that Adobe is hosting their backend!   :-)
Jeff

Hi Jeff,
Not sure what your reading or not:
Here are the plans and their names - http://www.businesscatalyst.com/pricing/monthly
These and their features are clearly listed.

  • Difference between Report Template "Standard (PPR)" and "Standard"?

What is the difference between Report Template "Standard (PPR)" and Report Template "Standard"? What does PPR mean and what makes it different? Why would you use PPR rather than just standard?
    Thanks,
    Linda

    Hello,
PPR (Partial Page Refresh) is just a term used to describe some AJAX pagination and sorting functionality, it's just a holdover from before the term AJAX existed.
You can just change the template and on your report to enable that functionality. In 3.0 it will just be on off switch in your pagination options.

  • Want to know the difference among the sap standard schemas TM00/TM01/TM04

    hi, experts
i have read the standard courses HR310 and HR311,but i am still confused about the difference among the three standard TM schemas TM00,TM01 and TM04.
i only learn from the book about it as follows:
TM00: Time evaluation with time events
TM01: Time evaluation for work schedule deviations
TM04: Time evaluation for times entered as hours.
i want to know the details about different forms of time data and different strategies in evaluating the time data in the three standard schemas.
       thanks in advance

    Hi,
TM01: read the actual data, Automatically calculate the overtime with the help of events.
TM04: Negative time evaluation, Get the data from the Work schedules
TM01: Positive/Negative time evaluation: Read the exception of workschedules, get the data from the time events form the 2011IT.
    TM01:
Schema TM01 can be used for time evaluation if you only record
exceptions to the work schedule, and not all times that count as working
    time (actual times).
You can use schema TM01 to import and process time data that has been
    recorded online.
The schema forms time balances, time wage types, and time quotas, and is
processed using the time evaluation driver, RPTIME00.
The valuation basis for time evaluation forms a planned pair, which is
generated according to the planned specifications in the employee's
    personal work schedule.
The planned pairs generally correspond to the time worked. Only
attendances from infotype 2002 and absences from infotype 2001 result in
a difference between planned and actual.
Schema TM01 automatically generates overtime for all attendance times
recorded over and above the planned specifications in the personal work
schedule. If overtime is recorded in infotype 2005, it can be approved
systematically taking account of overtime breaks.
    TM00:
Schema TM00 processes time events that have been recorded at a time
recording terminal, or the time pairs formed from the time events in
pair formation. Attendances and absences are also imported.
Schema TM00 is based on positive recording of time data, that is,
recording all times that count as working time (actual times).
Schema TM00 only evaluates time data with clock times (or full-day
records). The main task of schema TM00 is to classify the actual times
by comparing them to the planned specifications in the daily work
schedule (start and end of planned working time, core times, breaks, and
    so on).
    TM04:
The time worked by the employee is recorded in the Attendances infotype
(2002), and not as clock-in and clock-out times. When processing
clock-in/out times, the emphasis is on the length of time between the
postings and not on the times at which the postings were made.
You can use schema TM04 to process attendances and absences that specify
a number of hours only, rather than concrete start and end times.
The times stipulated in the daily work schedule are not relevant. Only
specifications such as planned hours and minimum daily working time are
evaluated from the daily work schedule.
TM04 caters both for negative time recording (recording of exceptions to
the work schedule) and positive time recording (recording all
    attendances or actual times).
If negative recording is used, the planned hours are generated on the
basis of the daily work schedule. Recorded absences and some attendance
times are deducted (see schema TP01.)
The "Time Management status" indicator in the Planned Working Time
infotype (0007) shows whether all actual times are recorded for an
employee, or only exceptions to the planned specifications.

    Devi.

  • Upgrading to 4.0.1 changes license from Premium to Standard

I'm running a volume licensed version of Flash Builder 4 part of the CS5 Web Premium suite.  After updating to Flash Builder 4.0.1, it now loads as Flash Builder Standard.  Is that just the title that is showing incorrectly on the start screen and about page, or have I somehow magically been downgraded from Premium to Standard?
    Thanks.

I'm definitely downgraded to standard.  When I go to Flex Unit it tells me I need a Premium license.
So far this has happened on 2 computers.  One (win XP sp3) with Flash Builder pre-installed and then CS 5 installed and one (Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit) with no Abode products installed until all of CS 5 was installed.  It can`t just be you and I who have experienced this.

  • Testing advantages of Premium over Standard

My company has recently decided to go for Flex 4 to build an app. We're fairly new to Flex and we're about to purchase FB4 licences. We're trying to decide whether to go for Standard or Premium licences.
Reading the feature comparison I see the difference is basically centred around testing. I have a few specific questions:
Premium has "FlexUnit support". What does that actually mean? As far as I can see flexunit is a free testing library (with a graphical display), so both versions should be able to run it. Does this simply mean that Premium will show the graphical display? Or what does premium specifically offer?
Premium has "Support for automated functional testing". On other pages I see the following mentioned "Support for automated functional testing tools such as HP QuickTest  Professional software is also available." This leaves me wondering - do I need to purchase the HP tool to get the functional testing support? Really I don't want to purchase any other tools, so what do I get out-of-the-box? I've had a search around but I don't see any tutorials on the web showing me how to use this feature of FB4. I'm currently using the trial Premium version, but I don't see any menus or buttons which sound promising (like "Create new functional test..."). Is there any information which can help me in using this feature? Lastly, can you give any info on how this might be better than using say Flex Monkey?
Thanks for any guidance and sorry for the quadruple-barrelled questions!
    John

    Hi John,
Thanks for your question about Flash Builder Premium.
Flex Unit support in Flash Builder relates to the following capabilities:
    * Create unit test cases and unit test suites (Wizards guide you through the creation of test cases and test suites, generating stub code for the tests)
    * Run the test cases and test suites in Flash Builder
    * Navigate directly to source code from the Flex Unit Results View
You may find this article on the Adobe Developer Connection site useful: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/articles/flashbuilder_tdd.html
In relation to support for automated testing, Flash Builder Premium comes with the required libraries for you to be able to use automated testing tools with your Flex application.
You will most likely want to use a third party tool, in addition to Flash Builder, to undertake automated functional testing. Information on the Flex plug-in for HP QuickTest Professional and supporting documentation is available here: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitlement/index.cfm?e=flex4_automation_plugin
As someone else pointed out on this thread, another important tool included in Flash Builder Premium is the Profiler; you might also benefit from the Network Monitor (which enables you to watch network traffic between your Flex application and a remote server) in the Premium edition - more information on those features can be found in this article: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/articles/flashbuilder4_debugging_profiling.html
I hope the above information helps with your decision.
    Thanks,
    Andrew

  • Upgrading from Premium to Standard and Visa Versa

    Hi all
Our upgrading issues rumble on here at my workplace!
We currently have 2 machines which are installed with CS2.
    We have (due to ordering issues - mistakes!) 1 x CS2 - CS5 STANDARD upgrade and 1 x CS5 to CS5.5 PREMIUM upgrade.
My question is, if we upgrade our PREMIUM CS2 to a STANDARD CS5, can we then upgrade again using the PREMIUM CS5-CS5.5?
My question is one of compatibility!
    Thanks!

    Yes you can upgrade.

  • Windows, Design Premium, & Design Standard CS4 Re-install

I need to re-install my Windows software. I have a serial number for CS4 Design Premium & CS4 Design Standard. Will I be able to re-install all of these CS4 programs iwthout any "hiccups" once I wipe my slate clean with a new Windows install?

We don't know anything about your system and generally preemptively asking is not going anywhere. Run Help --> Deactivate and then simply proceed with your system rebuild. if you have specific issues, you can always come back.

  • Compatibility Issues between Premium and Standard CS5.5?

    Hi all
Our on going saga at my workplace I hope is drawing to a conclusion.
Can anyone tell me if we have one machine with Premium CS5.5 and one machine Standard CS5.5 will there be any issues with sharing files?
We do share files alot on our network between us - mainly indesign files and illustrator files.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

It’s the programs that are included. With Standard you don’t get Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash or the Extended version of Photoshop.

  • Documents to Go Premium as standard on BB7?

    Hello
On the Dataviz website there is a message to owners of Blackberry 7 devices that DTG Premium now comes installed as standard on BB7 devices.
I downloaded DTG Files, but when I click on the icon a message appears saying I need the DTG Desktop application, and continues: "would you like to Try Premium, Buy Premium, Learn more, etc"  - Does that mean I don't really have Premium on my BB7 device? (Torch 9860)
In the Application Properties section of my device, it says I have version 3.0.0.122 of DTG, but the word Premium does not appear anywhere.
DTG on my device has 38 modules including:
    DTG
DTGCommon (incl Resource in 7 languages),
    PdfToGoLib
SheetToGo (incl STGResource in 7 languages)
SlideshowToGo (incl Resource in 7 languages)
WordToGo (incl WTGResource in 7 languages)
    Many thanks, Phil

I have been battling this same issue. I thought I had it resolved (no I don't remember how) until I did the last software update and I've been going in circles since.
Has anyone gotten a solution to this? I NEED to be able to edit documents!

  • Exporting Multichannel MXF: Difference between adaptable and standard tracks

    Hello:
I have to export a mxf file with 4 channels:
    -1st channel: program stereo (L)
    -2nd channel: program stereo (R)
    -3rd channel: program stereo (L)
    -4th channel: program stereo (R)
I have a master stereo .wav, when creating the sequence, what is the difference between these two options?
    1:
-Making all the tracks standard, putting the master both in 1st and 2nd tracks
    -A1: output 1+2, A2: output 3+4
    2:
-Making all the tracks adaptable, putting the master only in 1st track
    -A1: output 1+3, A2: output 2+4
I don't understand what does Premiere do with adaptable tracks, how does it distributes the master's two channels?
    Thank you very much

    Ok, interesting update!
I opened two new projects in CS5, and imported the "problem" CS3 P2 export footage.  One project was preset to 1080p 24, the other set to 1080i 60.  Still pixelated in the 1080p, but clear in the 1080i project, only when paused.  Still pixelates when playing, even though resolution in the project window is set to full during both playback and pause.  That's good enough for me! It would appear that even though the footage was shot in progressive mode, it still needs to be a 1080i project.  Also, simply opening the CS3 project in CS5 and allowing automatic conversion opened the door to failure.  I read somewhere that CS5 is more strict about formats than prior versions, and it appears to be true.
Also, I've read that DVCProHD footage out of the HVX-200P is not really progressive, regardless of 24p mode settings.  That also seems to be true, based on this experience.
I'm still going to burn a BD-R just to make sure, and if I feel like blowing a second BD-R, I'll test the 1080p project export as well.  Hopefully, this thread can help others with similar footage.  I'm still curious what changes in the CS5 coding manifests this issue, where it didn't in CS3.  I imagine that will only be answered by one of the developers that wrote the code, or another Adobe employee that knows via said developer.

  • What is the difference with 1 Lync Standard Edition using VMware Fault Tolerant and 2 Lync Enterprise Edition in a cluster

    Hi
As I will be planning to setup Lync on a virtual environment regardless if it is going to be the Standard or Enterprise edition.
I am thinking if we use 1 Lync Standard Edition for the FE Server with Fault Tolerance enabled, would it be as good as having 2 Lync Enterprise Edition in a cluster?
    Thanks

    Hi there,
the main difference between using Lync enterprise and lync standard is the High availability and scalability feature,
you will get fault tolrance setup with one lync standard edition running on whatever hyper-v and vmware platform, however this will not be an optimum highly available solution for the simple reason that upon a host server failure the image will move
to another available host server and users will lose their active session durin the move process.
on the other hand what you will gain if you the Enterprise edition is that you will have a unique identity to which all lync clients will be connecting and this identity is the lync pool identity which is in the background handled with multiple Front-End
servers and AV conferencing pools, mediation pools and so on.
In additioin when you have multiple front-ends in place, those front-ends will not work in active/passive mode as in a regular cluster, in contrairy all the servers will be active and handeling the work load.
hope i make it a bit clear, if yiu need more info i am ready

Thanks for the response, being a small environment of 300 users, standard edition would be more than enough for me but the fact for HA is very critical for me at this stage. That is why I am exploring the option of using VMware FT.
I don't quick get what you mean on the users having to move to another image as my understanding of FT is in the event of a host failure (not VM failure like bluescreen etc), the VM will fail over to another host with no lost in any ping etc.
So, in theory, the Lync Server VM would never know that the parent ESX host had failed and it needed to failover to another host. Hope my understanding is correct.
    Thanks
