Difference in SC and FC cumulative balance

Hi All,
After running the conversion difference, there is still a difference between the SC and LC cumulative balance.
For ex. LC = 0.33 and the SC = 0 .00 (cumulative balance) Is this correct? I can see a value of 0.05 in SC C/D but in cumulative
balance its hows 0.
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Joseph

  • Differences in Asset and G/L balances

I have some 1st local differences between G/L and assets
How do I adjust those differences...

    Hi Ziggy,
If you know the assets involved, use transaction code <b>AS92</b>. Adjust the <b>Acquisition</b> and <b>Accummulated Depreciation</b> values manually and save your entries. This would update the <b>Net Book Book</b>. Once you're sure you have carried out all the required adjustment for each affected asset, the Asset Sub-Ledger would be corrected and this would automatically adjust the figures in the G/L.
    I hope the above helps.

  • Different Balance Due and Cumulative Balance

    Hi Experts,
My Client, SBO 8.8 PL17, are experiencing an issue where the balances differ from the balance due screen and the cumulative balance.
There are 2 closed invoice showing in the cumulative balance window as well as on Ageing report. These 2 invoices was closed with Credit Notes, both are linked to the target credit, on the actual invoice it shows as closed, the applied transactions clearly states that the doc is closed. In the DB, the INV1 lines for the invoice is also closed.
For some reason it just doesn't want to pick up that the invoice is linked to the credit.. The credit is not displaying though.
I have have read through notes but none of them have the same issue as this, they are all related to partial payments, which is not the case here.
If anyone have any suggestions, please let me know.
    Kind Regards,
    Wynand.

    Hi,
Kindly check the following query whether the same gives any result :

  • Cumulative and non-cumulative for key figure

    Hi,
In the aggregation tab, we have the aggregate type SUM, Max or Min.
we also have the comulative/non-cumulative values.
what's the difference between comulative and non-cumulative values? it would be good to have some example for illustration. and does comulative and non-cumulative have any relation with aggregate type?
    Many Thanks
    Jonathan

    Hi,
what's the difference between comulative and non-cumulative values?
Cumulative values are those key figures that are cumulated using all characteristics, thus also using time.
    Example: sales revenue, weight, etc.
Non-cumulative values are those key figures that are measured in relation to a period in time; that is to say they cannot be meaningfully cumulated over time. Non-cumulative values are summarized over time using so-called exception aggregation.Example:stock quantities/-values, number of employees, account balances, etc.
Does comulative and non-cumulative have any relation with aggregate type?
    Different types of non-cumulative keyfigures.....are....
    1.Non-cumulativekey figure = cumulative keyfigure with excep.aggregation
    2.Non-cumulativekey figure withassociated singledelta (cumulative)
    3.Non-cumulativekey figure withassociated in-andoutflow(cumulative)

  • Difference between cumulative balance and line items total in FS10N

    hi,
when I am executing FS10n, I observed that the cumulative balance amount is not equal to line items total .  This is due to some amounts in previous years are varying from the line ltem totals in those periods of previous years.
This is not happening with QA server only Prdn server is facing this problem.  Can anybody provide me a way to solve this..!?
    Regards,
    AJo
I have checked the master data for the GL and the check box for line item display is selected. It has not been changed for years.
Edited by: Anil Jonnalagadda on Oct 22, 2008 10:57 AM

    Hi Anil,
The reason for the differences that you are viewing can be various. As the differences are found in the cummulative balance then it means that the differences might have occurred in previous fiscal years. The first stetp is to find when these differences were originated: You can run report SAPF190 (in se38) for previous fiscal years, and company code in question- This report should show the differences with message "Errors" in the log. If differences are found then you have to creeate a message and send it to SAP for further analysis and corrections.(only SAP experts can do this kind of corrections - component FI-GL-GL-X)
Also bear in mind that if you did archiving in previous fiscal years then this would not be an error:
If you already did archiving and secondary index deletion on this accounts with SAPF048I. So this explains why line items balance and GL summary balance differ ! There is no programm error.
See consulting note 81489 which describes this issue:
The balance of an account results from the balance of the open items. In
connection with an archiving that has been carried out, the line item
display - used with cleared items - must not therefore be interpreted as
a balance display. For the balance display, there are separate
correspond to the display balance of the open items from the line item
    display.
Having archived and deleted secondary indexes ( with SAPF048I )
for an account you can not use line item drill down as a balance
display any more for a line item managed account.
( as not all line items are existing any more in table BSIS ! )
The transactions meant to display the binding balances are  FS10N,
    FK10N and FD10N.
They also give you the line items details, but only of those line
items not yet deleted ( by SAPF048I ).
    kind regards,
    Oscar Diaz

  • Difference in Cumulative balance amount of ERP and BW query report

    Hi all,
We have a report to display the Cumulative balance amount based on G/L account.
The issue we are facing here is, when we check a May month's cumulative balance in ERP side ( using Transaction code FAGLB03 by giving G/L account number, Company code and Year as 2010) we are getting 1000 EUR, and the May month's Balance is 300 EUR.
When we run our Qury report in BW side for the same conditions( same G/L account, Key due date as 31.05.2010 and same Company code) we are getting the Cumulative Balance as only 900 EUR. we are missing some 100 EUR in our report for our Cumulative balance. But,When I check the Cube on which our Query report runs, I could get the May month's balance as 300 EUR.
Kindly help me to rectify this issue.

The cumulative balance for the GL should be stored in the key figure 0BALANCE in BW
What is the amount when you do a list cube on this KF ?
If you don't have the same as in FI-GL, there are several possibilities :
    1) there's a mistake in the extraction flow (transformation)
    2) you didn't update the BW infocube with the latest data

  • Difference between cumulative and non-cumulative key figures

    Hi,
What is the difference between cumulative and non-cumulative key figures and under what conditions they are used. What is snapshort and where it is used.

    Hi.............
Basically the key figures are of two types cumulative and non cumulative.
Cumulative are the normal one which you use always and they always bring the new values of the key figures in the delta that is if suppose A has value 10 and after change the new value is 20 then you will use cumulative key figures there, and your delta( new value) will bring 20.
but suppose your key figures field only the change in the prior value that is in this case the delta in the key figure value will bring 10 (20-10- change of 10 )as new value in the key figure A then you will have to model it through the non cumulaitve key figures.
    Now
    1) Cumulative is for the first case that is if the key figure alwyas brings the new values of the key figure and not the change sin the key fiures value.
2)NCum. value with NCUM value change:
In this case ther is only one field which brings the changes for a particualr key figure and you ahve to define that key figure as non cumulative.
Ex: In case of stock only one filed brings both ingoing value and outgoing value so 10 ,-4,100,-34.....
In this case you will this option and use the key figure here in the space provided.
    3) In this case you haev two separate key figures one for the inflow of stocks and one for the outflow of the stocks.
you use one key figure for the inflow and one key figure for the outflow.
The main key figure autiomatically takes care of the logic and gives the correct output upon the summation
net value of stocks( inflow- outflow).
Also do remember in this case the key figure for inflow and out flow are the basic key figures that is cumulative key figures.
A non-cumulative is a non-aggregating key figure on the level of one or more objects that is always displayed in relation to time. Examples of non-cumulatives include headcount, account balance and material inventory. here the aggregation of key figure is based on the another info object
There are two different ways to define non-cumulative key figures:
    • Non-cumulative key figure with non-cumulative changes:
Before you can define the non-cumulative key figure, an additional cumulative key figure containing the non-cumulative change must exist as an InfoObject.
    • Non-cumulative key figure with inflows and outflows
There has to be two additional cumulative key figures as InfoObjects for non-cumulative key figures - one for inflows and one for outflows. The cumulative key figures have to have the same technical properties as the non-cumulative key figure, and the aggregation and exception aggregation have to be SUM.
    Features of non-cummulative key figures
    A non-aggregating key Figure.
Records are not summarized for Reporting
Exception Aggregation is being applied on these key figures on the level of one or more info objects usually with time .
Examples: Head Count, Account balance, Material stock
    consider simple senario
Date Net Stock Quantity Sales Revenue
    01.02.2005 40 1000
    02.02.2005 50 2000
    03.02.2005 25 3000
this is the query output if stock quantity has treated as cummulative and non-cummulative key figures
if stock quantity taken as a cummulative key figure
Date NET STOCK QUANTITY SALES REVENUE
    01.02.2005 30 1000
    02.02.2005 50 2000
    03.02.2005 20 3000
    RESULT 100 6000
in the above result the key figure has aggregated to the total value that wont give sense to the net stock quantity
if stock quantity taken as non-cummulative key figure
Date Net Stock Quantity (LAST) Sales Revenue
    01.02.2005 30 1000
    02.02.2005 50 2000
    03.02.2005 20 3000
    RESULT 20 6000

  • Opening and Cumulated Balances of PCA

    Dear BI Gurus,
I am using two standard (PCA) Data Sources
    <b>1. 0EC_PCA_3 and
    2. 0EC_PCA_4</b>      to Load data into my Custom Cube.I need Cumulated balance and Opening Balance of Actual Line Items for my reporting purpose.
There is an object 0BALANCE which is not getting populated from the  0EC_PCA_3 Data Source.
We are able to get only the Cumulated Balances of Periodic Transfer, but unable to get the Balances of all the other Accounts.
So, can anyone please help me out in getting the Cumulated Balances and Opening Balances of the Account Numbers.
    With regards

    For Delta update
The extract structure does not contain the BALANCE field. To get the inventory for balance sheet account, 0BALANCE can be filled in BW in den updating rules. For further information, see note 577644.

  • GL Balance difference in FS10N and FAGLB03

    Hi,
I have an issue, GL account balance for an inventory account is not same when compared bettween FS10N and FAGLB03
I checked the totals table GLT0 and FAGLFLEXT and both have different balances.
I have performed Balance carry forward using
    FAGLGVTR
    F.07
    F.16
Please advice, how can we rectify the difference.
    Thanks

    hi
FBL3N transaction is used for GL account line item display for Open items , clered items or all items and the total balance of the all items should be equal to the balance of the same GL through transaction FS10n which is using to display balance of GL.
FAGLB03 is used for balance display of GL if you have new GL activated. Blance of the same is as same as FBL3N through all items total for the GL. But, FS10N (tableGLT0) can still be updated - if you have Classic GL activated.

  • Difference between Snapshot scenario and non cumulative scenario

    Hi,
Can any one please tell me the difference between snapshot scenario and non cumulative scenario in
    inventory management.
Also please give example. I read the pdf " how to handle inventroy management scenarios", but can any one please give some easy to understand examples.
    full points guaranteed-

    hi,
In Non-cummulative method your stock movements are stored in the cube (inflow and outflow of NC KF) and the Total stock is calculated during query execution. Hence if there are lot of movements in the stock for the period you want to report on, query will take long time to execute.
In case of Snap shot scenario Stock movements are not loaded to cube. you use ODS to load the status of the stock and then from ODS you can load to Cube once in a month. So only summarized data will be availabe in Cube. Reporting will be fast.

  • Foreign and Local currency balance difference in GL

    Dear All,
I have a GL for Bank in which entries are posted manually through F-02. GL is maintained on company code currency (Say INR). The transactions posted are in foreign currency  (ex USD).
when we check the balance of the account in FBL3N it is showing FC balance as zero and Local currency balance as 100 INR.
The above situation is due to the following
    Received Amount 100 USD @ 40 = 4000 INR (manually posted JV)
Credited amount 100 USD @ 39 = 3900 INR (Manually posted through JV).
As both the activity is done through JV the system dint prompt for exchange rate difference account. So no my question is:
    1. In this scenario, is there any why the system can automatically post entry to exchange rate difference Or posting Manual JV is the only way out.
    2. What is the use of Tcode F.05. What it actually does.
    Thanks for your valuable time.
Please let me know if you need any additional details
    Regards
    Naveen

    Hi
Since you do not have any parallel currency, The balance of 100 INR in Local Currency is correct.  There is no need to write it off.
My understanding is that the transactions are as below.
Transaction    Doc Curr   Doc Curr Amt      Loc Curr     Loc Curr Amt
    1                     USD            100.00                 INR                4000.00
    2                     USD           -100.00                 INR              -3900.00
    Balance                                0.00                                          100.00
You have a Bank Account which is maintained in INR.
In first transaction, you have a receipt of 100$ and bank has applied a rate of 1USD = 40 INR.  So the balance is 4000 INR.
Then you have made a payment of 100$  and bank has applied a rate of 1USD = 39 INR.  So you still have 100 INR.
That is not a gain or loos.  It is valid balance.
    Thanks

Re: use of non cumulative keyfigure
Re: When do we use Non-Cumulative values?
    Key figures:
    1. Cumulative Vaules
    2. Non – Cumulative Values
    Cumulative Values:
Cumulative Values are Keyfigures for which Keyfigure Values are must posted in every time unit that reported on (= time period – specific Values).
    Example:
    Revenue
    Non – Cumulative Values:
Non – Cumulative Values are Keyfigures for which KeyFigures are only evaluated for selected time Periods.
    Cumulative Keyfigures With Exception Aggregation:
It's a 'normal' KF (with summation, min or max as aggregation behaviour), but you set some exception in this behaviour...for example, you can say that a KF, normally aggregated by 'summation', have to show the max value (or the average, or '0' or something else), that is the 'exception aggregation' when you use it in combination with 0DOC_DATE (or other char), that is the 'exception aggregation char reference'...in this case OLAP processor give to you the possibility to see your KF with different behaviour depending from you use 0DOC_DATE (in our example, MAX) or something else (SUMMATION).
Non – Cumulative keyfigure with Associated Single Delta:
If you have a stock KF that is fed from only one (other) movement KF that can assume positive and negative sign.
    KF1 (initial) STOCK (non-***.) = 100
    KF2 flow = -30
    KF2 flow = 70
    KF1 (final) STOCK (non-***.) = 140
Non-cumulative key figure with associated in and outflow:
This is the case of 2LIS_03_BF KF stocks fields.
Here, we have the same situation in point 2, but you will have not only ONE flow KF, but TWO, one dedicated to in and another one dedicated to out !
You have to use this scenario if you have no KF that have positive and negative sign, but two KFs each one representing positive (in) and negative (out) logical sign!
    KF1 (initial) STOCK (non-***.) = 100
    KF2 (out))flow = 30
    KF3 (in)flow = 70
    KF1 (final) STOCK (non-***.) = 140

    Hi.
Among other things, clustering allows you to share app data (such as http session
data) across cluster members, allowing you to failover should one cluster member
              crash.
If your app is stateless then this doesn't mean much - load balancing alone would
              probably be ok for you.
