Dear Sir/Madam,
What is the difference between Kp26 And Kp06 And kb21n
Tell me if i'm wrong !!
KP06 is for cost center(production / Non prdn) cost element planning
KP26 is for production cost center with activity planning
KB21N is for which rate / ratio from one cost center to other cost center rate is given / moving.

You are right KP06 is used to do planning for Cost center and KP26 is used to planning of activity for cost center.

Find out type of activity in process flow

I am currently working on generating process flows. I place a bunch of mappings or sub process flows (sometimes more than 20) in a process flow. Then I connect them basically to indicate the order in which they have to be processed.
Next I want to generate the succes, warning and error transitions. I can easily list the activities in the process flow using
OMBRETRIEVE PROCESS_FLOW 'SOME_FLOW' GET ACTIVITIES
likewise I can easily retrieve the transitions.
My main problem now is that I cannot find where to start.
I know a process flow is created default with a START1 activity but the name can be changed, so that is not a fool proof option. I have been looking for something like
OMBRETRIEVE PROCESS_FLOW 'SOME_FLOW' ACTIVITY 'START1' GET PROPERTIES (ACTIVITY_TYPE)
But the property apparently does not exist.
If I do
OMBDESCRIBE CLASS_DEFINITION 'PROCESS_FLOW' GET CHILD_TYPES
I see a START_ACTIVITY child type is listed. Now I am looking for a way to connect the child type to the activity

After posting the question on the forum I remembered I had made lists of activities for various activity types, in my case MAPPINGS and SUBPROCESSES. So I tried the same for START activities, just like you apparently have done. And with the same conclusion; there is not a complete list of activity types you can use.
I also noticed there is no START activity in the Palette of the Process Flow editor. And that you cannot delete a start activity (API-10011 You cannot delete this type of activity). Apparently a start activity is a special case of activity. And I think I will treat it this way. I will assume no one in his right mind will rename this activity from it's default 'START1' name and start my exploration of the flow in the process there.

The Transaction SWETYPV is used to link the workflow to the event...
This transaction is very sensitive.. If by mistake if any changes happens then might be workflow get struck and its very difficult to rectify the problem

2) Normally Routing is used in Discrete Scenario

SAP Error Msg No. KP236, Cost Ctr 112233, act type AABB: Activity Schd. Act

When I do KSPI - Plan price calculation. I am getting the error message no KP236. Cost center 112233, activity type AAABBB: Activity<scheduled Activity. When I go to KP27 and see the detials for the cost center and for the activity type, I can see that there is some value present in the column Act. Scheduled which is greater than planned activity. How to make this Act. Sched column to Zero. I tried transaction KPSI, but this only copies the values from Act. Sched to planned activity. But I want to make the Activity Scheduled column to be Zero. Can anyone give me some pointers as in where to look to solve the issue?

"Planned activity < scheduled activity:
The calculation occurs with the scheduled activity instead of the planned activity or capacity. In the list of results, the
system issues error message KP236. The results are not updated, unless the "still post" indicator is set in the
settings for the price determination. See the long text of message KP 236 for further information (the same applies for
capacity instead of scheduled activity)."

Help on Livecycle/DSN...API or some type of Active X solution to help making connection

I have a solution that I'm trying to come up with.
LiveCycle is a relatively handy tool for automating input from ODBC data
sources to download to forms
What we would like to do is automate the process of setting up the DSN used
by LiveCycle and automate the process of making the connection to that DSN
to populate the fields in the forms. Automating the DSN setup is done. But
what I'm looking for is an API or some type of Active X solution to help
with making the connection, populating the forms using LiveCycle and
printing the PDF output file. Can you help me with this?
Currently I'm using LiveCycle Designer 8.0 as part of the Adobe Acrobat
suite. Can I use this, or do I need to look at a different software package?

Iam sorry that I can´t answer your question about the Active-X-Stuff and I truely doubt, that you will look in this thread again. But Iam interested in your solution for automated build of an DSN. Is it within the PDF-File, so not every user wanting the the PDF to be filled have to settle up an extra connection? And does it work, if the user has no permission to make a DSN on his own?

Event Action Filters (difference between column Active & Enabled?)

I have a IPS4260, running v6.0(3).
Under "Configuration" > "Event Action Rules" > "Event Action Filter".
What is the difference between column "Active" and "Enabled"? This is confusing.

Event action filters are evaluated in a specified order. Active means that a filter participates in the order. Enabled means that it can perform a filtering action. Use Disable when you want to preserve the order, but not perform the action (e.g. if you want to turn it off for debugging, but want to keep it's place in the list later). Use Inactive when you don't want the filter in the ordering at all (e.g. if you want to keep it as a reminder, but don't plan to use it again). The filter list is displayed by CLI and IDM in logical order - first all of the Active filters in their specified order, and then all of the Inactive filters. I don't think the designers really intended to have 2 similar options; it is more a side effect of the data model used for storing the configuration.

Use an alternative Exchange Rate Type for activity actual price

Dear All,
I try to use an alternative Exchange Rate (not M) in controlling area version "0", I need to use a custom currency exchange rate like in planned price (here I create a new planned version with exchange rate "N").
I find same notes and it seems that standard Sap use only Exchange Rate "M" for actual price but I notice that for example in transaction KB21N (activity allocation) system shows in additional info exchange rate "N" (input in version "0").
Is not possibile to use other Exchange Rate for actual price, activity allocation, for confirmed activity in production order?
Controlling area has currency type 30 (group currency EUR), this company has MXN.

In KB21N (activity allocation), system uses the exchange rate type you have maintained in controlling area version plan settings (transaction OKEQN). Activity allocation during the month always happen at the planned price maintained in KP26 at the exchange rate specified in plan version. During actual price calculation and revaluation during month end, it calculates actual activity price at (uses M rate to convert to controlling area currency) and revaluates consumption.
I think you cannot use other exchange rate, see the coding in include LKSPIF00 that is used in KSII where currency type is hard coded to M, if this is plan price calculation it's picking tka07-kurst.

Derivation Strategy for billing types - Post activation in KE4W

Dear Friends,
I recently activated KE4W for billing types S2, Credit Notes & Debit notes.
This is for restricting the COGS flow to CO for these billing types.
Now when i am releasing the sales document to accounting - Its asking to maintain derivation strategy.... KEDR for all the billing types.
From my previous implementations i have never maintained KEDR for billing types... as it is suppose to be on a standard derivation strategy.
How can i go about resolving this.
Do i at all need to maintain KEDR for billing types.. or is this error because of something else..

HI,
normally KE4W (reset CO-PA value fields) does not require any KEDR-steps.
I suggest to make a test derivation within KEDR to identify the step(s) where the message occurs.
Maybe also T-Code KECM is helpful (Overview of derivation, characteristic derivation) to see if the billing type is used as a key field,...

Play difference type of audio simultaneously

Hello everybody
i am making iphone app.
i want to play two audio files simultaneously. here the type of two files is difference. one is wav and another is mp3.
i tried to play these file with AudioToolbox Fameworks.
Therefore, in some time it normally works but in some time my app halts at the AudioQueueStop function.
i want to play two files normally in all the times.
is there anyway to do this!
Any kind of information on this topic is highly appreciated.

You could possibly try using AVAudioPlayer instead. It's much simpler. However, I am having some trouble playing non-wav formats. See my other post for details. You can try your luck.
