Differencec between the Nano Plus and the M

What is the difference between the Nano Plus and the MuVo. I'am thinking about getting one fdor my husbnad fro christmas. I have the Nano Plus 52.So I can't decide on which one to get him. The only thing I don"t like about the Nano is the armband. Ipod has nicer ones

Hi harinirao!
I suppose you mean the MuVo N200 player when you say Zen nano plus? I just saw that creative has changed the name of the player but the mp3-player looks almost like V200, is that right? In that case, it must be N200.
I have a MuVo N200 with 52 mb and it's white. I do also have some friends that have a V200 player and I will try to describe the differences...
As far as I now, the N200 player is almost like V200 but better. A big plus with N200 is that the player supports line-in recording which means that you can connect it to almost any radio or cd-player and record directly from it to .mp3 format. This is something you don't get if you buy V200.
And, the N200 player is much more smaller than V200 so it's much more easier if you travel or don't have so big pockets. So my advice to you is to buy the N200 (aka Zen nano plus) player.
You need a cable to connect the N200 to a computer but I don't think that matters so much.

There aren’t any. AirDrop between the platforms requires that the Mac support Bluetooth 4.0, which wasn’t introduced to them until the 2012 models.

  • Notes does not sync between iPhone 6 plus and iPad Air

The Notes app does not sync between iPhone 6 plus and iPad Air. These used to sync before when I had an iPhone 4. I have been trying to troubleshoot this for about an hour now, so all the basics such as deciding on a default Notes account, to turning on and off iCloud functions for both devices, as well as signing out of of my apple account on both devices, then back in. Nothing seems to be working - is this a fault in the current iOs?? It's driving me nuts.

    You can't pair iOS devices.
    that's not how continuity works.

  • Problems running creative zen nano plus and nomad muvo on same compu

We have 2 nomad muvo mp3 players and now a zen nano plus .Have had constant problems with the media organiser .
Installed zen nano plus and selected enable smart fit to get maximum amount of songs and it worked fine but as soon as we tried to install software for the 2 nomad players it would not work smart fit for any of them.
Uninstalled everything and got the zen software in and it was running ok but then seemed to have problems and although smart fit was enabled it just copied files as the original mp3.
It then fatally crashed yesterday and I am awaiting a replacement as I had only had it for 2 days.
Is it possible to run all 3 and to be able to use smart fit on all 3 players or am I better off having just one working and using the file converter for the other 2.

Make sure that you have installed the MediaSource plugin for MuVo in order to get SmartFit You have to access SmartFit via the MuVo node of the Sources window in MediaSource. You won't see SmartFit if you access your MuVo via the My Computer node of the Sources window in MediaSource..
Here is what you should do to get the latest MediaSource software:
    - Download and install the latest Creative MediaSource Player/Organizer 3.30.2 from your product download site.
    - (Depending on your firmware)
Download and install the latest Creative Zen and NOMAD Jukebox plugin 2.00.9 for Creative MediaSource from your product download site.
    or:
Download and install the latest Creative MediaSource Plugin for PlaysForSure devices (version .00.8) from your product download site.
    - Download and install the latest Creative MuVo plugin .0.05 for Creative MediaSource from your product download site.
    - Download and install the latest Creative MediaSource Plugin for CD Burner 3.0.8 from your product download site.

  • Zen Nano Plus and N200- the sa

Yesterday I ordered a N200... or a Nano Plus, actually i don't know since the title said Zen Nano Plus, but the pictures and text said N200. Of course I asked support which I was going to get when I ordered and in their reply they said they are the same but with different name... so I don't really know what i'll get tomorrow, but then I guess it won't matter if they are the same with different name... But are they really the same?

    Hello,
Just so you don't make a mistake, the 200 and the Zen Nano Plus were different for me. Both I bought were GB but the software was different on the N-200. I was told NOT to load the N-200 on the Zen Nano Plus. I also bought Notmad software and they said that the ZenNanoPlus would be supported soon.
I mistakenly thought I had to upgrade the firmware to get Audible compatibility. I did not. It was Audible ready out of the box. It was .00.02 from the factory. I got 2 different Creative support people telling me 2 different things...including how to upgrade the firmware with N200. One support said DO NOT do it.
Finally I got someone who said it was audible ready as it is. I tried it and it worked perfectly. So...just check. I am not sure who was right. All I know is I blew one up once trying to upgrade and I am real cautious now. At this time, I would not trade the Zen Nano Plus for anything......except perhaps for a copy of the new firmware for the Zen Touch ! Had to get that in.

  • Difference between Nano Plus and n2

So many say that the Nano Plus is the same as the n200. It is definitely similar, but if it is truly exactly the same then the firmware for the two should be interchangeable. We see warnings posted that the n200 firmware shouldn't be put in the Nano Plus. Exactly how do they differ? Has anyone here taken apart both of them?

I like the name change. The name n200 is quite lame. I would have preferred the name Pico instead of the name Nano. Perhaps either they couldn't use the name Pico for legal reasons, or perhaps they might be planning a player even smaller than the Nano, and want to use the Pico name for that? Coulnd we see even smaller players in the future from Creative with the names Femto and Atto
Even though I like the name change, I don't like the fact the the firmware for the Nano Plus isn't interchangeable with that for the n200. It would be nice if one of the mods here explains the exact reason why the firmware isn't interchangeable, and exactly how the Nano Plus differs from the n200. Imo having a Nano and Nano Plus is a good idea, but if it was my choice, I would have left off the microphone, line in, and radio on the Nano, but still included the case and armband.

  • Zen Nano Plus and Real Player Music St

Anyone know how to get .rax files purchased from the Real Music Store to load onto the Nano Plus?

[size="2" face="Comic Sans MS">I have the Real Player Plus version of 0.5, so hopefully your player will have some of the same tools. First, highlight the track you want to convert in Real Player. At the top of the page of your Real Player, click on Tools and you will find Convert Media Format. Click to open? and it should show the track you are wanting to convert and another pane with your options. You will have to use wma or MP3 for your Creative Player. • Zen Nano Plus and audible

Hi, I subscribed to audible. From all MP3 players I have the only one audible manager recognizes is Creative Zen Nano Plus. When I try to transfer to player I get message that my program in format 4, creative supports format 2 and 3. Is there a way to upgrade my software? Thanks

You will not be able to upgrade the player itself to play format 4. It only plays 2 or 3.

  • Zen Nano plus and recargable batterie

As per topic, can you use rechargable batteries for the above? If yes then gonna have to find some that are good quality and will last long(er). he he

The relati'vely new Sanyo 000 mah nimh AAA batteries might provide the longest run time of all the AAA rechargeable batteries. Also be sure to get a charger that is meant for nimh batteries, and that has a separate charging circuit for each battery(usually a separate charging indicator light for each battery). Many chargers only charge batteries in pairs. If a charger only charges batteries in pairs, then in addition to having to charge an even number of batteries at a time, it will not be good to charge batteries that were used separately and are in differents states of discharge on the same charging circuit as one might be undercharged or the other overcharged.

  • Will Zencast Organiser support the Zen Nano Plus in the futu

I would like to know whether a future release of Zencast Organiser will support the Zen Nano Plus and similar players in Zencast Transfer. Or is this only possible for MTP players? Also items from a particular channel need to be played back on players?(normal play mode) by date (oldest first) and not alphanumerically by file name, or at least for this option to be introduced. I like to hear my podcasts in date order. Surely this makes sense and wouldn't be too difficult to introduce into Zencast transfer?

I have the same problem with my Zen Nano Plus gb player, only it shows up under "Other Devices"

  • Zen Nano Plus - Connection Problems and Firmware Upgrade probl

Like many others posting on this forum, for a while I had problems trying to get my GB Zen Nano Plus to be recognized by the .0.03 Firmware Update software.
I eventually got it by doing this:
While the Firmware Update software was "Searching" for a device, I kept on unplugging and plugging in the Zen Nano Plus from the USB cable while holding down the Play button, unti it "caught". I tried this since I noticed it would initially see the unit saying "A device has been detected in recovery mode...", but then throw the unit into "non-recovery" mode and hence force the Firmware Update software to keep on searching.
Anyhoo, after it did finally "catch" it (after about 0 times unplugging/plugging while holding the Play button down), it showed my firmware as .03.02, and so I did the upgrade to .0.03. The upgrade said "Complete". I then take the unit off of USB, and put my battery back in. and. uhm. well. Now it won't turn on at all. *sigh*
So there I go again in the "unplug-plug" loop on trying to get the older .03.02. Finally caught after about 30 times (yes my hands are tired). And after downgrading to .03.02, putting the battery back in, the unit turns on fine.. WHEW.
So, beware to everyone. Not sure if I'd trust the .0.03 Firmware. Doesnt seem to work on my Zen Nano Plus, and I JUST bought the thing from Circuit City about a week ago.
And for those of you having problems getting the Firmware Upgrade to work.. try my (tiring) method.
I tried this on my Dell D600 laptop (actually used the USB ports on the docking station).

lcvdw wrote:Can you tell me what I am supposed to see if it is connected properly?
With your player connected and View, Devices by Connection selected in Device Manager navigate through as follows:
Advanced Config and Power Interface (ACPI) PC
    ->Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System
    -->PCI Bus
You should then see a series of USB Host Controllers that you will have to click through in turn to find the one your player is connected to.
Underneath each controller should be a USB Hub, and then devices are listed beneath the hubs.
For my N200 I have USB Mass Storage Device, Creative MuVo N200 USB Device then Generic Volume.
Your entry should be similar but with Zen Nano Plus instead of N200.
While you're there, right-click on the entry for the hub attached to your player and select Properties. On the Power tab it will show how much current the port can supply and in the Attached Devices list it will show how much power the player needs. In my case the hub supplies 500mA and the player needs 00mA.

  • Zen Nano Plus: Line in recording from micropho

I've got a Creative Zen Nano Plus and was very happy about its ability to encode MP3s from the line in jack.
Since the integrated microphone is not very good for recording (especially loud music) I tried to connect a microphone to the line in jack. Unfortunately I had to recognise that it doesn't record anything no matter if "Sync Track" is on or off.
I'd be glad if someone can tell me what exactly the problem is. Do I need some kind of special microphone (I read somewhere that it has to be "pre-amped", whatever that may mean) or is the line in jack designed for just recording from devices like a CD player? Help is very much appreciated. :-)

    Big bump.
I did some research quite a while ago and thought that I should report the results for people also having that problem.
A line-in jack is not a microphone-in jack. The difference between them is that the former is not supplied with electricity, so it can't power simple external microphones on its own. Thus, a real microphone-in jack is needed, though none of the Creative products has one included. You will still need a pre-amped microphone to get recordings with proper volume, though. A good and cheap solution is the Archos Stereo Microphone that comes with a preamplifier including volume adjust (http://www.archos.com -> Accessories -> Audio accessories).
Microphone-in jacks can be found for example in the iri'ver iFP-7** and iFP-8** series. Since this players are discontinued and newer models don't have these jacks, it's kind of hard to still use that feature.
