Differences listed between ASCP Optimization and Inventory Optimization ?

Does anyone has a listed readymade document listing the differences between ASCP optimization and Inventory optimization modules.
thx for your help.
thx and rgds,
Pankaj

Hi,
As explained IO will recommend time phased Safety stocks it also provides various constraint option, we can make use of it as per our requirement.
In ASCP, following optimization are available:
1. Maximize inventory turns
2. Maximize plan profit
3. Maximize on-time delivery
If you want to use the same optmization in IO, we can fulfill the requirement by available IO constraints say max on-time delivery thro enforce service level constraint.
Hope it will help u.
Tks

  • Difference Between Raw Material and Inventory Account

    Hi Experts,
can you pls explain me the difference between raw material account and inventory account opened under Asset Drawer in Chart Of Account ??

    Hi Divya.......
There is no difference between raw material and inventory account. Infact the raw material is nothing but stock and stock includes the finished semifinished product also. In short the stock account belongs to the category inventory account.......

A Payer is the individual or company who settles the invoices foa a service or for delivered goods.
    Whereas the account group determines:
Which screens and fields are necessary for entering master data
Whether you can or must make an entry in these fields
How master record numbers are assigned (externally by you or internally by the system) and the number range from which they are assigned

    HI Manoja,
    a) Integration between Sales Order and  Inventory module.
While creating sales order due to Strategy group in MRP3 view of material master does an availability check and determines the first date of availability.
b)Integration between delivery and  Inventory module.
At the time of PGI (Goods issue)
Cost of Goods Sold is debited due to configuration in OBYC GBB T-Key To Inventory Account
c)Integration between Invoice and FI module.
In account assignment(that reminds me of your previous que CONDITION TECHNIQUE is used for Account Determination as well)
    Tcode VKOA
Also when Billing document is released to Accounting
Customer Account is debited for the amount in Invoice.
and credited to Sales Revenue Account
Hope this clarifies to some extent
    Post for further clarification

  • Difference/relationship between an activity and an order

    Hello experts,
Forgive such a simple question, but what is the difference between an order and an activity in SAP CRM?
I know an order will get entries in tables like:
    CRMD_ORDERADM_H
    CRMD_ORDERADM_I
...and from what I can tell, crmd_activity_h has a foreign key back to crmd_orderadm_h....
    Is an activity an order?
    What are the differences?
    How are they related?
    Thanks and regards,
    Dean.

    Hi Dean,

  • Sync songs and lists between my PC and laptop

I would like to sync my songs and playlists between my PC and laptop. They share a network in my home and I do not own an ipod. The 2 machines have been authorized to share each others songs. I use the pc when at home and the laptop on the road so they sometime become out of sync. The only way I see at this time is transfer songs via windows which is very cumbersome and time consuming trying to verify they each have the full complement of songs.

Set up an iCloud account, the same one on the mac and the iPad and the iPhone. On each device, configure iCloud by selecting the things you want to synchronise.
Make sure you do this on one device at a time. Make sure the first device you do has the "master" copies (the ones you really want to keep) that will go up to iCloud. Once all devices are configured, a change to reminders on the iPhone, for example, will automatically appear on the mac and iPad. Same if you change a reminder on any device, all the others will see it.

  • What's the difference/relation between a topic and a page?

    Hello all,
I'm not sure about the relation between a new page and a topic: it seems that a topic can be composed of pages, but when I look at the topic's HTML, there's no new section (DIV) for the added page.
Also, am not sure about the relation between the book and the topics/pages.
Would be grateful if somebody could either point to reference material or provide a few clarifying words on this.
    Many thanks, Donna

    Hello again
Okay, I'm interpreting that as meaning it really didn't make much better sense to you. I'll take another stab at it.
When we create content in RoboHelp, we create what most of the world would know as HTML Pages. These are simple files that contain HTML code. And on the World Wide Web, they would be generically called Web Pages.
But remember, RoboHelp is a Help Authoring application. Not a Web building tool. So while the tool (RoboHelp) actually creates different HTML Pages, in Help Authoring speak, we just call them Topics. Because we are typically describing something helpful. So this Topic is about clearing a paper jam from a printer while this other Topic is about How to Fill Out an Expense Report.
So generically speaking, each of our HTML Pages in our project is known as a different Topic. Sometimes we mix the terms can call them Topic Pages. So they are sort of synonomous in that respect. HTML Page = Topic
Now, part of building any respectable help system is the fact that you are able to create a Table of Contents (TOC). Each node (or entry) that is part of your TOC structure likely points to a different Topic in your project. But when we edit the TOC, we generically say we are creating a Page. (This is typically because the TOC most often uses icons that look like Open or Closed Books, with Pages inside each Book that individually point to Topics.)
Hopefully that makes better sense... Rick

  • Differences between NI-9472 and 9481 module

    Hi,
Can anyone tell me what is the major difference between the two modules?

you should read the operation manuals and instruction of the two modules, and the specification of whatever your switch-to-be-automated is connected to. What will be the current draw by that device? Can the 9472 or 9481 handle that? or can both handle it?
I would summarixe the difference between the two like this: the 9472 is designed to drive 24V logic (which can be assumed to not necessarily draw large currents), and the 9481 is relay that you use to switch on and off power to a device/light buld etc.

  • Differences IRF between Condition SD and Tax code FI

    Hello friends.
In a specific process, we have two distinct processes (example):
    1) SD Document originary from TM
Condition YR01 ->  +100.00 - Gross marge for calculation of IRF
    Condition YR02 ->  -15.00    - Tax 2
    Condition YR03 ->  -5.00      - Tax 3
Condition YR04 ->  +80.00    - net for calculation of IRF
    Tax calculation: 8.00
    2) Invoice Entry (by MM-MIRO)
Ex.: accounting documents is generated with:
In Suplly Master Data: IRF Tax Category: IC. IRF Tax Code: C0
Gross marge for calculation of IRF: +100.00
    Tax calculation: 10.00
Due to the client's process, we need to compensate the SD document with the accounting documents of FI, but the process cannot be completed because there is a difference in the calculation of the IRF Tax between the two processes.
According to the client, the source of the document in TM is right, i.e. tax is really 8.00.
The question is: How to adjust this on FI to consider both tax (YR02 e YR03)?
    I appreciate your attention.
    GLippmann

I did with depending IRF codes:
Financial Accounting New -> Financial Account. GL Settings New -> Witholding Tax -> Extended Witholding Tax -> Witholding Tax Base Amounting -> Portray Dependencies between Witholding Tax Type.

  • Difference posting between FI Posting and CO-PA

    Dear Experts,
Currently we are using CO-PA with Operating Concern Currency is set to USD, and Company Code Currency is set to IDR.
Company Code Currency is activate in Operating Concern configuration.
Customizing direct value to CO-PA from SD is set with VPRS Condition Type mapped to VVS01 Value Field (COGS).
We have the following transactions post in different date :
    1. Document Sales order created at 12 Jan 2012, with pricing condition date 12 Jan 2012. In Sales Order item, the Material was calculated in IDR amount (Material Valuation Currency is set to IDR in Material Master Data), eg : 91380 IDR. The Condition value was calculated into USD, eg : 10 USD with conversion rate : 9138 (taken from exchange rate type M).
    2. GI to Cust was post at 26 Jan 2012 in IDR, eg : 91380 IDR. No conversion happened because Material Valuation Currency = Company Code Currency.
    3. Billing was post at 26 Jan 2012, resulting Profit Segment posting. In Profit Segment document, Value field VVS01 was posted in USD (Operating Concern Currency) and in IDR (Company Code currency), eg : 10 USD and 89950 in IDR (Exchange Rate at 26 Jan 2012 : 8995 (Type M)).
The difference occur because Billing document take the value in column "Condition value" (10 USD) with condition type VPRS (see Tab Condition in Billing Document) using conversion rate 9138 and post into Profit Segment  with 2 currency, 10 USD as Operating Concern Currency and 89950 IDR amount as Company Code Currency but with conversion rate : 8995 taken at 26 Jan 2012.
    Please help.....

    Hi,
Please read note 429517: INFO: Currency translation Billing document -> CO-PA
This note clearly explains how the currency translation takes place

  • How do I sync Tasks/To-Do List between a MAC and an iPhone

I am in the process of converting from a Windows PC to a MAC, and from a Blackberry to an iPhone. Today, I use the Outlook Tasks application extensively on my PC which syncs with my Blackberry. I am looking for an application that will provide this same functionality on the MAC and the iPhone. Can someone recommend an application that has a MAC client for Tasks/To-Do List that will sync with the iPhone? I have looked into the new Microsoft Office 11 home and business for the MAC which does provide the MAC client for task, but I have not been able to find an app for the iPhone that will sync the tasks to my iPhone.
    Any recommendation would be helpful
    Thank you

Must be a POP account then?
No idea where the setting might be on an iPad, but see if it's similar to the Mac...
Mail>Preferences>Accounts>Advanced tab, it has a box for Remove from Server once downloaded.

  • Can I transfer Song Lists between my 30GB and My 2Gb Nano?

    Hi,
I recently got a 2Gb Nano and want to transfer some of the songs from my 30GB to my Nano that I listen to often. Can I do this? I am on an IBM computer running XP Pro.
    Thanks.
    Diamondlady
    IBM   Windows XP Pro

Ignore FawazOssman's rant [note: rant removed by moderator]. Assuming you intend to sync both iPods using the same PC it is simple as can be. Just connect the Nano, configure it to automatically sync selected playlists only, and select those playlists.
If you do not intend to use the same PC you'll have to download a third party program to copy the music from the 30GB iPod to the new PC. Then you can sync the Nano.
