Differenece between mm/dd/yyyy and mm/dd/ccyy formats.

hi,
is there any difference between the 2 date formats .mm/dd/yyyy and mm/dd/ccyy formats.
select to_char(sysdate , 'mm/dd/yyyy') from dual returns 07/22/2011
and
select to_char(sysdate , 'mm/dd/ccyy') from dual retruns 07/22/2111how to differenetiate or analyse both.

CC stands for CENTURY
Change CC to RRRR to get the year
Check the oracle documentation of TO_CHAR()
SCC or CC------------------Century; server prefixes B.C. date with -
YYY or YY or Y------------ Last three, two, or one digits of year
select to_char(sysdate , 'mm/dd/yyyy') from dual returns 07/22/2011
and
select to_char(sysdate , 'mm/dd/RRRR') from dual retruns 07/22/2111
