Different Capabilities between BW 3.0 and 3.5

Hi Everyone,
I am currently gathering user requirements for BW FICO.
There's a user requirement to edit/change the data that has been updated in the infoproviders. Has anyone of you done such a requirement before? How can we edit the data once it has been updated into the infocube?
My BW system is currently BW 3.0B.
I have been tasked to check if other versions like BW 3.5 is able to do direct maintenance of infocube data.
But I can't find any documentation on the new capabilities of 3.5. Does anyone of you have the link to such documentations?
