Different colours for 1 calendar

Hello,
We sync a google calendar with everyone in our office.
This calendar contains my private and work related appointments.
In my iCal (Snow Leopard) I would like to give a different colour to my private and work appointments, is this possible?
Creating a second calender is not an option, we only want to share 1 calendar with everything in.
I know this is possible in Outlook, but I'm not a fan of Windows...

We use ical and sync to Google Calendar, but when I create events in iCal, there is no option to make it private.
We have created a CalDAV connection to Google Apps Calendar, so any help about why there is no check box for Private would be appreciated.

I was wondering if we could select two cells in a list and have two different colours for each of them.

Can you set different colours for invitees in calendar?

In calendar on the iphone/ipad can you set any events that you accept from invitees to a different colour so that you can instantly distinguish them from your own events?

You could choose None in Preferences > General > New Mail Sound and set up a rule for each account in Preferences > Rules as follows:
If [any/all] of the following conditions are met:
[Account] [AccountName]
Perform the following actions:
[Play Sound] [Sound]
Problem is, that would cause the sound to be played for junk mail as well — probably not what you want.

I have my own iCal and one for my boss. I need our appointments to show up in different colours so that I can tell at a glance which are mine and which are his. Currently our appointments show up on the same calendar, on top of each other, and both are coloured red.

Different colours for accordion

I would like to be able to have different accordion panels in
my site, each using colours relevant to the page topic. So, for
example, all pages about our services would use a green font, all
pages about our research department would use red and so on. I can
adjust the CSS colour scheme but don't know how to apply a
different set of colours for other accordions as they all seem to
pick up from the main CSS.
If it's really simple to do this, please could someone tell
me how. I'm a novice so idiot-proof instructions are necessary!

This is a simple trick, but it will need some extra job for
you (it's all
CSS, so don't be afraid)
I think you have two options:
1.- Create different CSS files using the original one
provided by Spry as a
template: You should change the values as desired. This way,
pages about
services would load spry_services.css, pages about research
would use
spry_research.css and so on.
2.- Add a class to the body tag and change the css selectors:
you can use a
single css file where you must duplicate the original
selectors (.eg:
accordionPanelTab should become .services .accordionPanelTab,
.research
.accordioPanelTab... and you can change the properties
there).
The former is a good choice if you want to have you css code
and files as
clear as possible; the latter will work ok with DW templates

Publish multiple ical calendars with different colours for each calendar

hi
i am wanting to publish either multiple iCal calendars or a calendar group online so that the colours are preserved for different calendars. it would seem that the MobileMe published calendars still only support one colour (blue). could someone recommend another method of publishing read only iCal calendars online, preferably free, but i don't mind paying a small amount

Acording to the first post it also shows data, so it is a GUI component. i never sow a textbox.
JTextPane can show data in different colors. also JTextArea can.

i want to set a specific colour for title bar in top level container component (JFrame or JDialog), then it will be the colour for every OS and the colour will not change even user set different colour scheme.

It will be easier to have a global view of your calendar if the meeting has a different background color that the dinner.

There are a few items you could use to colourise/shade an event over:
-> Calendar (e.g. Primary, secondary, subscribed resource, subscribed user etc.)
-> Event type (business, personal, holiday etc.)
-> Free/busy state (Free, busy, busy-tentative etc.)
-> Invitation state (accepted, rejected, tentative)
The new interface (although this is subject to change) appears to allow different background colours for events by calendar in much the same way as the current Thunderbird Lightning plugin.
