¿Can be created different galleries web (of iPhoto)? I need two galleries web.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. In order to have two separate galleries you need two separate .Mac accounts.
However, you can restrict one gallery or group of galleries in your overall gallery to one group of people and the second gallery to another different group by assigning each for group of galleries a unique password and user name for access.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

Can I use thumbnails rather than the {sitename} to load different galleries?

Hi all-
I'm new to Spry and all things Javascripting but I'm attempting to construct a image gallery using Spry in Dreamweaver CS3. I've used the "Original Photo Gallery" from the Spry Demo folder as a jumping off point and everything works correctly.
I would like to know if it is possible to use representative thumbnails rather than the select dropdown to launch the different galleries? I'm sure it is, but I'm a total neophyte and have no idea what to do. I'd like to set up a AP Div with 9 thumbnails in a table that would each launch a different gallery. How do I do that?

Hello, because you're SELECTing tournament.tourtype in the SELECT list, the answer is not really. If you didn't need t.tourtype in the SELECT list, you could have:
select m.memberid, m.lastname, m.firstname

            and upper(t.tourtype)='OPEN');And you know the t.tourtype is 'OPEN' anyway, so you don't need to SELECT it. So you could have this, and the answer is yes:

Multiple SSID with different Login Web authority pages

Our current setup is one Anchor control and then several WLC’s, I want to know if I can have multiple SSID and use different Web Auth pages form them, so I can have a SSID that requires a password to Authentication access and another SSID that requires pass through Authentication but they would have different web authentication pages and go to different pages once Authenticated.
Is this possible to ?

If you are running WLC software 4.2 and above then u can do this on per WLAN basis.. here is the link which tells on how to do it..

Data Different in Web reports and Bex Report

Dear Experts,
We found that the data in web reports is not in line with BEx reports, The Infoprovider is same the query is same. But when we are executing reports with same varialbes in BEx and Web reports, they are showing different values.
COuld you please let us know what could be the possible reasons for the above criteria, and how to overcome it?

Embedded Image from different anonymous web application broken

Hi,
I have two web applications, one is NTLM and another will be NTLM & anonymous.
User uploaded images into anonymous web application and embedded the images in a post (custom html box) from NTLM web application.
When user try to load the images from the post, image link is broken. After refresh the page, some of the images are loaded and some are not. The image are being loaded randomly.
I am suspecting on TMG redirection to different web application but i have no further information for that.
From Sharepoint log, i have the following:
Unexpected HttpException while client is still connected. System.Web.HttpException: An error occurred while communicating with the remote host. The error code is 0x80070057
May i know what are the suspected root cause? anyone can help please.

According to the symptom that issue occurs intermittently, I suspect it is related to coding of web control you added for images. Please provide more information about how you embedded the image in a post.

Font size in Photoshop looks totally different in Web

Hello,
i have a very strange problem. Im using Photoshop CS6 right now to make some modifications to my website.
We are using font type Arial 12pt in the PSD file and also Arial 12pt in the web. But in the web the font looks much bigger than in the psd file.
When we save the PSD as a JPG file in browser and compare it to the website the fonts of the JPG file look fine but in the web they look much bigger.
It seems we have to use 12px in the Web so it will look same like 12pt in PSD.
But im very confused by this. How is that possible? Or what are we doing wrong?

The web runs on pixels, not point. Depending on the default browser font size, system font sizes and a million factors the dynamically rendered type in the browser can always look different. Even assuming 72 dpi isn't exactly true any longer due to high-DPI displays and browsers using other logic internally. that and of course the CSS formatting on the web site can override certain things as well... Complicated subject with no easy answers. Generally you should expect that it will look off more than expecting it to look right under all conditions. Therefore make up your mind how you render certain texts and don't intermingle image-based text them too much with normal text.

Some questions about the limit of memory usage of Adobe flash player in different OS & Web Browser

I'm from HP, and now using Adobe flash player making some products about massive data displaying.
For my target, I need to show more than 200 K rows in client web browser, using AdvancedDataGrid.
And that may needs more than 200M to cache the data in Web browser memory space.
So, my questions are:
Does there any memory usage limit in flash player?
Say, if we have 4G bytes of physical memory in machine, in Windows, how much can I use in flash player?
Also, if we have 4G bytes of physical memory in Linux, how much can I use in flash player?
Does it depends on the Web Browser?
Say, is there any difference between different web browsers?
If the limit exists, can we control the limit?
Say, can we define some parameters in the tag in web page to expand the limitation?
Or, can we try to control this limitation by the Flash player management which exists in the Windows Control Panel?

1. Yes. The Toolkit for CreateJS is an extra downloadable extension for Flash CS6. It will publish html and js files that will provide the animation instead of the swf that you would normally publish. The success or failure of the resulting javascript version of your animation is the result of working within the constraints of the toolkit. You are pretty much constrained to using the timeline in Flash for your animations. If you work only in Actionscript, then the output will be very disappointing.
2. Edge outputs javascript, css, and html to give you an animation. The user interface allows you to design within the constraints of what Edge can do. You can preview and adjust and tweek your animation as you work. Edge is an html5 tool. It can create html5 animation. It is not a replacement for Flash. It is something that you can use instead of Flash to embed animation in html.
The problems and benefits of each are unique. Neither is a good substitute to learning javascript, css and html5. If you don't understand the code that is created from each of these tools, you can easily end up with huge, bloated, files that perform poorly. I'm very biased toward actually knowing what is going on. If I need to edit something, I want to be able to go into the code and make a change, not add an additional chunk of code to work around what was there. I don't use the timeline at all, and so nothing that I have will publish using CreateJS. Well, it will publish, but nothing happens because there is nothing on the timeline to translate.

Report output different in web mode

Hi all,
I've got a simple tabular report(Rows and columns without headers) which i deploy on the web and the report is displayed on a browser. The output i get from the browser is different from when i test and run it in report builder.
When i deploy the report and view it on the browser, the rows do not start from a new line and each record is joined. How do i specify a line feed to start each row.
For e.g, this is how it looks in report builder when i run it,
record1 xxx xxx xxx
record2 yyy yyy yyy
This is what i get in web mode,
record1 xxx xxx xxx record2 yyy yyy yyy
note : The report is a character mode report.

Another simple solution when you have simple text to show in a web and keep the presentation is to use the <PRE> tag. (see http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/struct/text.html#edef-PRE)
In you case

Session expiration across different adf web applications

Version of jdeveloper is 11.1.1.4.0. I have two adf jsf applications deployed in two different weblogic servers. Web application 1 navigates web application 2 in an external window or inline popup using a url view activity. I navigate from web application 1 to web application 2 without a problem. However when navigating back from web application 2 to web application 1 any action made in the ui of web app 1 throws an exception:
javax.faces.application.ViewExpiredException: viewId:/main.jspx - ADF_FACES-30108:The view state of the page has expired because of inactivity. Reload the page.
This problem does not occur when the 2 web applications are deployed in the same weblogic managed server. Is there any way to overcome this session inactivity issue.

Just upgraded from Elements 3 to 5 - pleasantly surprised with the Animated Web Gallery templates. Any idea if Adobe will have (or does have) any additional templates available?
My new Granddaughter would like a pink background
- the baby animated template is blue.
- Any suggestions on changing the background color.
- I'm new to HTML
- can't find an obvious line with the background color I'm sure it's a number vs a descriptive name)

Date Format is different in WebI Rich Client and Infoview

Iam facing problem with date format , but i need the date format as like dd-mm-yyyy.
WEBI Rich Client is displaying the format dd-mm-yyyy.
but in infoview it is displaying like mm/dd/yyyy
Can i have any solution for this ..

Help the Teacher! 20 Different i Web Pages - 1 iWebsite

Hi! I am a teacher and my students are creating web pages using iWeb. They each have a computer and have create one page. Now I would like to put all their pages together on one class webiste. I created the homepage and I want all their pages to be linked to my Homepage created.
Long story short. How do I save their iWeb pages and paste it to my iWeb page? I'm new at the MAC thing!
Any help would be great!

Hi,
iWeb stores its files into a file called Domain.sites2.
This file is usually located here:
User/Library/Application Support/iWeb/Domain.sites2
You could rename each domain file with the name of the girl/guy whom built the page on a certain computer then transfer all the domain files to one computer (perhaps using a usb stick) and use iWebSites

to merge the Domain files. That would result in having all the pages in one domain file. Then you're able to put them in the same site and publish them all together.
Be sure to have a backup of all the domain files.
Note that you have to change permissions of the Domain file to be able to edit, save changes and publish a website from another user account and from another computer as well.
Select Domain file press Command(Apple)+i under Ownership & Permissions go to =>Details =>Others and select Read & Write
You have to do that in the original user account and computer in which the Domain file was created.
If your computer goes nuts and you didn’t change permissions you will find an error while publishing and saving.

Authorization working differently in Web app.template

Hello all
I created an authorization object and gave access to 2 projects (say 10,20 and :). I created a query and created a authorization variable to the project. When I tested the query, it showing only the proejcts the user has access to. But when I create a Web template and created a dropdown box and referred the data provider to this query, system is showing only one project. If I add any new projects to the authorization also, it is showing only one value. But if I add *, then it shows all projects. I am in BI 7.0
Not sure where I am doing the mistake. can any one help

Check the infoobject property in your query defiinition, if you have selected Access type for Result Values as Posted values then you will get only values that are available in the your cubes or DSO. If you need to see all values(Projects authorization values then choose Master data option on the Advance tab of your query.

Hi John,
How have you added the required jar files. For DC projects you cannot use project properties and add the jar files to the build path (In case you have followed this method).
You will have to add the public part (i believe it is ejbclient.jar and is generated automatically when you create an EJB DC) of the EJB DC as used dc.

Adobe Muse Displays Colours WAY differently than Web Browsers

Hello, I did a live chat about this and he refered me to post here. I tried reinstalling Muse and reseting preferences but this didn't work. Colours displayed in Adobe Muse appear dirastically more vibrant than in all web browsers. It's not just subtle, It's a a fairly noticable difference and it makes it hard to design accuratly.

You can simply copy the URL (that is there in the browser's address bar when you preview in Browser from Muse) and paste it to any other browser's address bar, then hit enter to see how that looks in other browsers.
