Different JCombobox items in JTable for the same column

Hello Everyone,
I am reading from a file and displaying in a JTable. I want all cells in a specific column to be JComboBoxes but the items in the JComboBox differ from one cell to another, how can this be achieved?
The following is a snippet from the Sun tutorials,
JComboBox comboBox = new JComboBox();
comboBox.addItem("Snowboarding");
comboBox.addItem("Rowing");
comboBox.addItem("Knitting");
comboBox.addItem("Speed reading");
comboBox.addItem("Pool");
comboBox.addItem("None of the above");
sportColumn.setCellEditor(new DefaultCellEditor(comboBox));
And hence every cell in the sportColumn has the exact same set of options in the JComboBox which is not what I want since I read from an external file.
Any help or sample code would be highly appreciated.
Thank you in advance

Override getCellEditor(int row, int column) in JTable to control which editor gets used for which cell.

    Any suggestions or ideasYou are correct. You cannot build two prompts on the same column. Use this link for instructions on how to build a "between prompt" because of this fact:

  • Mix AVG and Total for the same column in ALV grid

    Hi,
    We are using CL_GUI_ALV_GRID=>SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY, and I'd like to know if the following situation is possible.
    Let's say we have a column which contains a number of hours, and we set it up to subtotal by period, but as an average rather than a total (DO_SUM = "C"). This is not a problem so far.
    The problem is that we'd like for the "Grand Total" at the bottom of the ALV grid to total all of the subtotal averages, instead of calculating an average.
    Ex:
    Period            Hours
    2010/01           6.0
    2010/02           7.0
    2010/03           2.0
                    5.0  (This is an average... 6.0 + 7.0 + 2.0 / 3)
    2011/01          12.0
    2011/02           5.0
    2011/03           4.0
                    7.0  (This is an average... 12.0 + 5.0 + 4.0 / 3)
                12.0 (We want this to be a total of 5.0 + 7.0)
    So we want the "grand total" line to be 12.0 which is the sum, but it currently comes out as an average.
    Therefore we're looking to average at the sub total level, but we want a total of the subtotal levels at the grand total level for the same column.
    Thanks,
    Denis

    Refer to the suggestion given by Naimesh here Can we modify a sub-total in ALV making use of function GET_GLOBALS_FROM_SLVC_FULLSCR and the method GET_SUBTOTALS. You can see the parameter ep_collect01 refered in case of subtotals. Can you please check ep_collect00 for grand total in your case.
    As said about EP_COLLECT00,here goes a classic example Modify grand total in ALV GRID

  • How to generate different report view in teststand for the same execution?

    My requirment is to have two different view for the same report that gets generated during one execution using in TestStand OI(CVI)? One view would be summary view (displays only test step types, excluding action step types) and the other view is detail view that displays all the steps that are recorded. Data for all the steps needs to get recorded in database. Any suggestions are helpful!!
    CLD,CTD

    Hello.
    I think you would have to create two separate reports, one as summary report and one as a 'full' report  The viewers are just 'viewers' and simply display whatever you set to them.
    I had display a text report that was basically a summary report ( failures only ) and then display an HTML report that contained all steps were set to be recorded.  This required quite a bit of modifications on both the process model and the operator interface side.  The operator interface (in LabVIEW ) had to contain 2 separate UIReportView controls.
    Let me know if that is your desired direction and I could point you to some more ideas.
    Thanks,

  • Different SBA DNS SRV entry for the same dns zone?

    Hello,
    I got here a testlab with one enterprise pool and one sba deployed. The Branch Site got also an DNS Server installed. Both are using the same dns zone "test.com".
    Of course now i got different server for the same SRV Record _sipinternaltls._tcp.test.com - one for autodiscovery in the enterprise pool and one for the sba. Also I want to add the second one as failover srv + the DNS Server in the Enterprise Pool should
    be used as a Forwarder.
    Now I got some issues how to deploy several entries on two different dns server for the same zone.
    1.) If I add manually the same zone + DNS SRV entries on the SBA the dns is somehow not resolving/forwarding the entries on the other dns server in ee to other servers which are not on my SBA dns.
    2.) If I only pinpoint the SRV entries for _sipinternaltls._tcp.test.com (one for sba and failover for ee site) the dns won't resolve the second a record to the enterprise pool.
    What is the Best Practise for DNS SBA? Always point to the enterprise pool and, therefore, no other configuration is needed?
    Regards DrWho

    I played a little bit around. Problem was that I can not add the pinpoint dns srv entries via gui. Aditionally the tutorials did not work as my DNS server for SBA is not on a domain controller. In the end I did this:
    sbafe -> fqdn of my sba
    eefe -> fqdn of my frontend of enterprise pool
    dnscmd . /zoneadd _sipinternaltls._tcp.test.com. /primary /file _sipinternaltls._tcp.test.com.dns
    dnscmd . /recordadd _sipinternaltls._tcp.test.com. @ SRV 0 0 5061 sbafe.test.com.
    dnscmd . /recordadd _sipinternaltls._tcp.test.com. @ SRV 10 0 5061 eefe.test.com.
    dnscmd . /zoneadd sbafe.test.com. /primary /file sbafe.test.com.dns
    dnscmd . /recordadd sip.sbafe.test.com. @ A 192.168.10.220
    dnscmd . /zoneadd eefe.test.com. /primary /file eefe.test.com.dns
    dnscmd . /recordadd sip.eefe.test.com. @ A 192.168.0.40
    Question is if that is a good best proctise or should the dns server within a zone contain the same records (Primary/Backup). The Client will then always hit the FE of the EE Pool first.
    Also its quite a lot of work to setup.

  • Two different accounts to be posted for the same valuation class on PGI

    Hi Experts,
    Please note that we want to post two different accounts for the stock offset entry( based on the nature of customer ) in the transaction of PGI in SO. However the valuation class is the same as the nature of the material is same (only the nature of customers is different). We have put one of the two accounts in OBYC GBB - VAX and GBB - VAY.
    Is it possible to have two offset accounts on PGI for the same valuation class.If yes, how will the system identify which one to be posted to.
    Thanks in advance for answers..

    hi
    why not create two asset class to easily to separate two situations for two company codes? just a suggestion
    or
    maintain one depreciation key for asset class as a default, if for another company code, just change the depreciation key manual when creating asset master. it is not very complicate.
    or
    create two depreciation areas, one for each company code, then, you will have one useless depreciation for each company code -- not a resonable way
    and, yes, that is the limitation of substituion in AA.

  • ALV  List  in the same Column for the row  CELL  i need button or value

    Hi,
    In my ALV list  for the same column I need Button or  Value for the different rows (CELL) depending upon my condition.
    as well as I have to make  read only of 3 rd column CELL based on my first column dropdown value CELL for this Row Only.
    Depends upon the value in  column 1 /  row 2   I have to  read only  the CELL of   column 5 / row 2   ie for the same row.
    Depends upon the value in Column 1/ row 3    I have to   EDITABLE  or   Button   the CELL  of column 5 / row 3 ie for the same row
    How to do the logic for this.
    I tried and got it for the entire column only.
    But my requirement is for the sepecific cell in the column.
    Kindly help to proceed further.
    Thanks in advance.
    Dav

    Here is how you can make a particular cell in the row read-only based on certain conditions.
    In my example I am displaying the flight details in an ALV. Here I am checking the airline id and if it is "AA' I am making the cell in the column airline id as readonly. In my example I am putting a check and readonly on the same column. However you can do this for different columns as well.
    In order to achieve this you need to add a new context attribute 'READONLY' of type abap_bool to the context node which is bound to data node of ALV.
    The method where I populate the node has the following code to populate the data.
      data: lr_input_node type ref to if_wd_context_node,
            lr_flight_node type ref to if_wd_context_node,
            lv_cityfrom   type s_from_cit,
            lv_cityto     type s_to_city,
            ls_from       type bapisfldst,
            ls_to         type bapisfldst,
            lt_flights    type table of bapisfldat,
            ls_flights    type bapisfldat.
      data: lt_final type if_mainview=>elements_node_flighttab,
            ls_final type if_mainview=>element_node_flighttab.
    * Instantiate the variable lr_input_note to the node NODE_FLIGHT
      lr_input_node  = wd_context->get_child_node( name = 'NODE_FLIGHT' ).
    * Instantiate the variable lr_flight_note to the node NODE_FLIGHTTAB
      lr_flight_node = wd_context->get_child_node( name = 'NODE_FLIGHTTAB' )
    * Get the attributes CityFrom und CityTo
      lr_input_node->get_attribute( exporting name = 'CITYFROM'
                                    importing value = lv_cityfrom ).
      lr_input_node->get_attribute( exporting name = 'CITYTO'
                                    importing value = lv_cityto ).
    * Fill the stuctures ls_from and ls_to
      ls_from-city = lv_cityfrom.
      ls_to-city   = lv_cityto.
    * Call the function BAPI_FLIGHT_GETLIST
      call function 'BAPI_FLIGHT_GETLIST'
       exporting
         destination_from       = ls_from
         destination_to         = ls_to
       tables
         flight_list            = lt_flights.
    Now I am going to check if the airline id is 'AA' and based on that I will fill the readonly context attribute.
    loop at lt_flights into ls_flights.
        MOVE-CORRESPONDING ls_flights to ls_final.
        if ls_flights-airlineid = 'AA'.
          ls_final-readonly = abap_true.
        else.
          ls_final-readonly = abap_false.
        endif.
        append ls_final to  lt_final.
      endloop.
    Finally bind the data to the context node.
    * Bind the data to the node NODE_FLIGHTTAB
      lr_flight_node->bind_elements( lt_final ).
    Now you need to do the ALV configuration settings.
    * create an instance of ALV component
      DATA:
        lr_salv_wd_table_usage TYPE REF TO if_wd_component_usage.
      lr_salv_wd_table_usage = wd_this->wd_cpuse_alv( ).
      IF lr_salv_wd_table_usage->has_active_component( ) IS INITIAL.
        lr_salv_wd_table_usage->create_component( ).
      ENDIF.
    * get ALV component
      DATA:
        lr_salv_wd_table TYPE REF TO iwci_salv_wd_table.
      lr_salv_wd_table = wd_this->wd_cpifc_alv( ).
      wd_this->alv_config_table = lr_salv_wd_table->get_model( ).
      CALL METHOD wd_this->alv_config_table->if_salv_wd_table_settings~set_read_only
        EXPORTING
          VALUE  = ABAP_FALSE
    * set visible row count
      DATA:
        lr_table_settings TYPE REF TO if_salv_wd_table_settings.
      lr_table_settings ?= wd_this->alv_config_table.
      lr_table_settings->set_visible_row_count( '10' ).
      DATA:
        lr_column_settings TYPE REF TO if_salv_wd_column_settings,
        lr_column          TYPE REF TO cl_salv_wd_column.
      lr_column_settings ?= wd_this->alv_config_table.
      DATA: lr_input_field TYPE REF TO cl_salv_wd_uie_input_field.
      lr_column = lr_column_settings->get_column( 'AIRLINEID' ).
      CREATE OBJECT lr_input_field EXPORTING value_fieldname = 'AIRLINEID'.
      lr_column->set_cell_editor( lr_input_field ).
      lr_input_field->set_read_only_fieldname( value = 'READONLY' ).
      CALL METHOD lr_column_settings->delete_column
        EXPORTING

  • Two prompts on the same column

    Hi Experts,
    I am trying to define two different prompts (and associate them to two different presentation variables) on the same column. However, when I display the 2 prompts on the same dashboard page, whenever I select a value for the first prompt, the same value is automatically selected for the second prompt.
    Is this normal behavior? How can I do to capture two separate values?
    Thanks,
    Guillaume

    Hi Stijn,
    Thanks for your quick reply.
    I think that's what I have done. I have 2 prompts (Prompt1, Prompt2) on the same column, and respectively associated with presentation variables Var1 and Var2.
    In the request, I refer to '@{Var1}' and '@{Var2}' in my filters. On the dashboard page, I display Prompt1 and Prompt2. But the moment I select a value for Prompt1 and click 'Go', the same value is assigned to 'Prompt2' (and thus to Var2). And if I select a value in Prompt2 and click 'Go', again that same value is selected in Prompt1.
    Bottom line, it looks like a dashboard prompt defined on a specific column can only have one value. Is this correct? And if so, how can I capture 2 different values for the same column and use them as parameters/variable in a request?
    Thanks,
    Guillaume

  • CBO generating different plans for the same data in similar Environments

    Hi All
    I have been trying to compare an SQL from 2 different but similar environments build of the same hardware specs .The issue I am facing is environment A, the query executes in less than 2 minutes with plan mostly showing full table scans and hash join whereas in environment B(problematic), it times out after 2 hours with an error of unable to extend table space . The statistics are up to date in both environments for both tables and indexes . System parameters are exactly similar(default oracle for except for multiblock_read_count ).
    Both Environment have same db parameter for db_file_multiblock_read_count(16), optimizer(refer below),hash_area_size (131072),pga_aggregate_target(1G),db_block_size(8192) etc . SREADTIM, MREADTIM, CPUSPEED, MBRC are all null in aux_stats in both environment because workload was never collected i believe.
    Attached is details about the SQL with table stats, SQL and index stats my main concern is CBO generating different plans for the similar data and statistics and same hardware and software specs. Is there any thing else I should consider .I generally see environment B being very slow and always plans tend to nested loops and index scan whereas what we really need is a sensible FTS in many cases. One of the very surprising thing is METER_CONFIG_HEADER below which has just 80 blocks of data is being asked for index scan.

    Hi Paul,
    I misread your question initially .The system stats are outdated in both ( same result as seen from aux_stats) .I am not a DBA and do not have access to gather system stats fresh.

  • Under Options , Applications There are multiple entries for the same item (Acrobat Document). how can I delete the duplicates?

    Under Options, Applications there are multiple entries for the same item. (Adobe Acrobat) . Three show Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.3 and the other shows (ask) or (save file) with no ability to select Acrobat Reader . Is there a way to edit this list to remove the duplicates and
    the incorrect entry? Adobe installed a very quick update today.

    They are all different. Hover your mouse pointer over each of the "Content Type" descriptions and you should see a "tooltip" to see that each has a different description.
    You need to update your plugins. It is important to keep them updated due to continuing security fixes and improvements in those plug-ins:
    * Adobe Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in, version 11.5 (you '''<u>may</u>''' need to update)
    * Shockwave Flash 10.1 r53
    * Next Generation Java Plug-in 1.6.0_20 for Mozilla browsers

    #*NOTE: this is not the same as Shockwave Flash; this installs the Shockwave Player.
    #*Use Firefox to download and SAVE the installer to your hard drive from the link in the article below (Desktop is a good place so you can find it).
    #*When the download is complete, exit Firefox (File > Exit)
    #*locate and double-click in the installer you just downloaded, let the install complete.
    #*Restart Firefox and check your plugins again.

  • VBAP is hving 3 items, while VEDA only 1 for the same VBELN ????

    Hi Experts,
    1 - Why the Item # is 000 in VEDA (Contract Data)table, while its (item #) is 10 in VBAP for the same VBELN and for the (very first) same item?
    And in some cases,
    2  -The VBAP is hving (say) 3 items, while in VEDA only 1 item for the same VBELN?
    thanq.

    ThaQ sESHU;
    UR STATEMENT:
    <i>In my system i have 000,010 Items ,this table will not have many items ,maximum one item,while selecting data btw VEDA and VBAP ( Keep VBELN is common field ,do not keep item number )</i>
    but, in my case, the STKEY differs based on Item #.
    say, Item 10----> stkey = A
    while, say, Item 20----> stkey = B
    So, I forced to mention the POSNR too! So, my SQL is,
    IF WA_VBAP-POSNR = 10.
    SELECT SINGLE VLAUFK
    FROM VEDA
    INTO WA_VLAUFK
    WHERE VBELN = WA_VBAP-VBELN
    AND ( VPOSN  = 000 OR VPOSN = WA_VBAP-POSNR ).
    endif.
    Any comments?
    thanq.

    Thanks
    I wanted to mark your answer helpful too but I didn't know that I could only put it for 2 answers. Sorry

    Hi,
    Can we post the the Invoice with different currencies for the same PO.
    For example.
    PO has Qty 100 pcs.  amount 100 USD
    GR   Qty 100 pcs.
    Is it possible to post Invoice of 50 pc with 50 USD, and 50pcs with some other currency.
    Any sugggestions pls.
    Thanks,
    Satya

    Hello
    As per my knowledge, that is not possible.
    And in whjat scenario, we need to do that?
    In MIRO header itself we have the vendor currency, so it is not posbile to maintain different currency in different line items in MIRO.
    If you want, you can do MIRO in different currency that what is in PO.
    In the example given, you have o post 2 invoices, one for 50 qty in USD and the other 50 in different currency in other invoice transaction by giving the currency in basic data-invoice header and then only press ENTER after giving the PO number.
    Hope this helps
    Regards

    Why does mountain lion "bunch up" all my microsoft office documents that I have open when I hit f3? When I had snow leopard for example, if i had 4 or 5 different microsoft office documents open at the same time I could hit f3 and easily pick one of them.
    Notice how in the photo, I can't identify which MS office document I would like to switch too. Perhaps since the Dashboard and Desktop windows are at the top of my screen now Apple doesn't let you have all the applications take up the full screen and be sized individually so that you can have a better idea on what to pick.
    I like the idea of grouping to an extent... If you have a bunch of random things it was hard for me to decifer between what was safari, chrome, or word. But now that they grouped them like this, if you have multiple pages of one program running, you can't switch between those pages easily like before.

    If I wanted to open any of my Applework documents I had to open them one at a time and resave them with pages. This could take weeks.I have 1000s of apple work documents.
    You don't have to open and re-save every AppleWorks document you have right now. Just wait till you need one, then do it. The documents aren't going anywhere.
    Am I dealing with Microsoft? This was a BIG surprise to me that Apple would release an OS without testing all programs.
    Frankly, it is not Apple's responsibility to ensure compatibiltiy with every piece of software available for OS X. That is the responsibility of the software vendor. Lion has been available to developers for several months before it's release, so Microtek had plenty of time to update their software. Yet they did not. How is that Apple's fault? I think Apple was very generous to give you a refund for Lion.
    I'm not trying to belittle your frustration but I do think your ire is misplaced.
