Different Layout within a webflow for one Portal Page

Hi All,
Can I set different layouts within one portal page journey depending on the hyperlink
I click on one of the portal page with in a webflow.
My requirements is such that if user clicks on one of the link on one of the portlet,
I want to show them the next page with different content in a different layout
with in same portal page journey.
Can anyone post the sample code to achieve this.

1 - you can not change the photo frame size if that is what you are asking
2 - you can enlarge the photo within the frame by selecting it and using the slider above the frame

Apply Oracle Portal styles at the region level. Your portlets within each region will inherit the style defined for the region.
You may want to check out Report #40050 at portalcenter.oracle.com, "Design an Attractive and Compelling Portal Interface" for a good overview of the various design features of Oracle Portal.

Are you saying you have two separate WD Applications (both FPM) which you want to run as two iViews in the same Portal Page? If so, this is a very basic NetWeaver Portal capability - to add more than one iView to a Page. However this isn't the correct forum to discuss this, as that discussion would belong in the NetWeaver Portal Forum.

Available Layouts for Creating Portal Page

Hi, When selecting a layout for creating a Portal Page we are presented with a plethora of available Layouts.
1. What is the difference between the 1 Column (Full Width) and Light: 1 Coumn (Full Width).
2. Why would there be no Layouts with a Row Type Organization. Everything is Column Based. What if I want to Rows?

1. Difference between 1 Column (Full Width) and Light: 1 Coumn (Full Width) is that the second is used for light framework which will not load HTMLB. If you compare the JSP code for the two layouts, the container definition in light layout is not surrounded by hbj tags.
2. As Ajay said, you can add multiple iviews in one container and you get multiple rows in a column. You can always create your own layout which can can have rows as well. One such layout from SAP is T-Layout (Top - Full Width; Bottom - Narrow:Wide).

2 Different Partition Map Scheme's for one external hard drive

Is it possible to have one external hard drive with 2 different Partition Map Scheme's?
One of them will be used to externally boot tiger on a powerpc, and the other for use on my macbook pro?

And this drive is currently not partitioned I take it ?
You need to make a backup of the data on the drive then partition it, the first partition must be set under Disc Utility / Partition / Options as Mac GUI Bootable so it installs the drivers, then install Tiger onto the first partition and move your current data back onto the second one.
You will then be able to Boot Tiger on the older PowerBook by holding down 'option' at start up, if you just have it connected to the MacBook Pro and start up normally then it will appear as two volumes on your Desktop, the Tiger Boot Volume and your Data Volume.

Load different css for one master page in different variation labels

i have two variation label in my SharePoint 2013 site collection
one for English language
and one for the Arabic language
i have used the twitter bootstrap so now i have one master page and one style file for the two sites
i need to load custom css for Arabic to handle the RTL so how can load English style and Arabic style
should i use cssregistration and how

Alternatives for one-way pager?

Hi,
This is not a question about a programming problem, but more about directions to search for. Hope you don't mind.
At my company we use pagers to get informed about states of systems we monitor.Sending a pager message costs money. I am asked to look at how much time I would need to develop an alternative for the pager system.
Before starting to think about time to develop, I would like to spend some time to research alternatives of the pager system. The advantage of a one-way pager is that the pager keeps on beeping until the user acknowledges the message. The company we use to send out the pager messages guaranties the pager messages are received by the recipient. The disadvantage is that no read receipt is send back to the server. So if the pager is turned off you will never know the message is received.
Alternatives for the pager system are:
1. Logging in into a server from a Midlet and regularly polling this server for information that otherwise would have been send to the pager. When such information is available, signal the user acoustically, until (s)he acknowledges receipt of the information (like the nagging the pager does);
2. Send a SMS with a read-confirmation-request. When the recipient reads the SMS containing the information, send a SMS back to the server;
Both methods use notify receipt/read back to a central server so you know the message is received. When such a notification is not received a message to the pager could be sent anyway.
So, my question is, do you know any other alternatives?

Gateway for accessing Portal pages from PDA

Hi All,
I am working on Oracle portal and want to use the oracle 10g wireless feature for portal pages.
As per the directions I have enabled the mobile access for my portal as could see the content from the built in PDA simulator.
Now, I would like to view the content from the actual mobile device (PDA).
After aquring the device, I think I need to get the Gateway provider.
I am completely blank on how to get the Gateway Provider etc.
I would request you all to help on this. How to go for getting Gateway Provider and how I could view the content from actual mobile device

Running data at different rates within a SCTL for resource sharing

I have a design that contains several single cycle timed loops (SCTL):
(40MHz SCTL) -> (20MHz SCTL) -> (40MHz SCTL) -> (10MHz SCTL)
The first 2 SCTLs are decimation filters so that the data coming out of the 20MHz SCTL is
at a 10MHz sampling rate. The 2ns 40MHz SCTL is filter that is 4X resource
shared so that I can use the available dsp48E slices. I'm using target-scoped FIFOs to
pass the data between the loops. In simulation, I have the timeout set to -1 so that it reads
from the FIFO whenever there is data available.
When I run the simulation, I expect/want to see my control counter running 4 times faster
than my incoming data. I thought that since the data was written into the target-scoped
FIFO at a 10MHz rate and the control counter is in the 40MHz SCTL, I would see the
behavior I wanted:
    X a     X    b    X      c     X     d     X <- data from FIFO
X0X1X2X3X0X1X2X3X0X1X2X3X0X1X2X3X <- modulo-3 counter
Instead I see the data and counter essentially running at the same rate:
    X1X2X3X4X5X6X7X8X9XaXbXcXdXeXf X0X    <-data from FIFO
    X0X1X2X3X0X1X2X3X0X1X2X3X0X1X2X3X    <-modulo-3 counter
Also the iteration counter for the SCTL runs at the same rate which seems to indicate that the
loop only executes when data is pulled from the FIFO. I was expecting the iteration counter
to be at 3 before the second sample was read from the FIFO and at 7 before the third sample
was read from the FIFO. I'm guessing that the simulator is event driven.
I have a couple of questions:
1. How can I get the behavior I'm looking for?
2. If not, can I expect the behavior I want if I run this on the hardware?

update:
NI support suggested using the FIFO timeout signal to determine when the data is valid
coming out of the FIFO. I was using a -1 on the FIFO read to read only when a sample
was available. NI support said to use a 0 and then gate the data based on the timeout
signal. The behavior of the design changed, but still did not give me the timing I was
expecting. Instead of seeing my counter update on every new sample, I see the SCTL
"free running" It's difficult to determine if the counter is behaving properly, but I do see it
running faster. The problem is that the SCTL seems to be running much faster was well.
Using the -1 on the FIFO read I would see > 262K samples written out for every 1000 in.
Using the 0 on the FIFO read and gating the data based on the timeout signal, I see
>60K samples for every 1000 read in. I'm expecting 250 samples out for every 1000 in.
Can someone tell me what controls the behavior (in terms of execution0 of the SCTL? It
seems like it is event driven, but I need the design to be clock or cycle driven for both
simulation and execution of the hardware.

Accessing cookies from one portal page to another page

I have 3 pages in Portal 3.0.8-Oracle 8.1.7.
I have some problem in the cookies.
I will be thankful if your help me to
solve my problem.
The first page get the username and password
through a procedure based portal form.
Then it will check the username and password
with the table and redirects to a corresponding page,if the value is correct. In the second and the third page i need the username and password. For that i used cookies to retrive. But some time it works and some times it wont works. I feel the coding which i used is with bugs.
If you tell me how to write the cookies
and to retirve the cookies in the forms i will try that and it will be the solution for my problem. I am expecting your reply .

Session Time out for oracle portal pages in Oracle 10g.

We have a portal application deployed on Oracle application server. We need to apply a security control - which prompts the usr to log in after 15 minutes of inactivity.
I have tried types of tricks but it doesn't work. The thinsgs I have tired are listed below.
Am I still missing anything?

Link to another portlet with a different layout

Can somebody point me how to create a link in one portlet which opens
another portlet with a different layout.
I have portlet one in a 3 column layout, I want to open portlet 2 in a

Do you sync to the same computer which has both your and her purchases on ? If you do then she should be able to sync them to her phone from it.
If you use different computers then you could copy them from your computer to her computer (if they are not on your computer then you could re-download them on it). You can find where they are stored on your computer by right-clicking (control-click on a Mac) one of them in the Apps part of your iTunes library and selecting 'show in explorer' ('finder' on a Mac). You can then copy them to, for example, a flashdrive and then add them (you will need to authorise your account via the Store > Authorise This Computer menu option) to her computer's iTunes via File > Add To Library and she can then sync them.

Assign Multiple Sales Org for One Plant in STO process

Hi Experts,
Aware that I can assign multiple sales org to 1 plant (relationship: many to many).
I am trying to create STOs to supplying plant and assigning them to different sales organization but encountered problem.
Example:
Supplying Plant 1000 - Sales Org 1000A (food) and 1000B (apparel)
Receiving Plant 1100
Plant 1100 wants to issue 2 STOs to Plant 1000 - 1 for each Sales Org (for instance STO1 to food division, and STO2 for apparel division).
However, when I tried creating STO in the system, noticed that in the shipping tab (item details) the sales org, DC has been assigned to 1 particular assignment and data is locked.
Tried to get into SPRO to configure and define the shipping data for plants but noticed that it's 1 to 1 relationship (SPRO - IMG - MM - PO - Set up Stock Transport Order - Define Shipping Data).
How can this be done?

You can set different sales areas (~sales organisation) for one plant in SAP - based on issuing SLoc provided STO between storage locations is activated.
SPRO > Materials Management > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Set up Stock Transport Order > Set Up Stock Transfer Between Storage Locations > Define Shipping Data for Stock Transfers Between Storage Locations

How do we know which webdynpro prog is called when i click PR item in SRM Sourcing cockpit.
When i click Text/Attachment tab for the item which View or webdynpro is called?
Pls guide me how to find the respective Webdynpro program for the Portal pages.

To see technical details for a web dynpro view, when you are displaying the screen, right mouse click on the screen (any spot) and select contet menu "More Field Help". The web dynpro component and the view should be displayed.

Restiction on maximum no of portlets in one portal

Hi,
Is there any restriction on the maximum no of portlets which can be there as 'available'
in one portal(Page)?
We have around 127 portlets available in one portal and when we try to make more
portlets available from Weblogic Admin tool then it doesn't work.It makes existing
channels unavailable.
Please send some info if you are having on this.Its very very urgent.
