Different letter format in IT906

Dear gurus
We have  2 personnel areas, and the process and communication letters are different from one another (like promotion, transfer letters etc)
In infotype 906 Additional Data for Corrs. Letters, is it possible to maintain more than one subtypes for transfer, promotion ( for different letter formats for the different personnel subareas) if so  where to configure

  • Different Date Formats on CRM and BI Client

    Hi,
    When trying to run the CRM Interactive Report "Accounts with Open Activities", I receive the following error:
    Different date formats on CRM and BI client 01/13/2009 13.01.2009 SC5CLNT200
    Does anybody know how to resolve this error?
    Thanks

    Hi Peter,
    As far as i remember, I had the same issue.
    Once I matched the date format in reporting client using SU01 on default tab with CRM date format, I did't see the error again.
    Did you try restarting the Browser & also relogin GUI.
    Else lets see what else can be done.

  • How to trigger different page formats dynamically in smartforms

    Hi ,
    I have a requirement in smartform,want to trigger different page formants based on country code  for ex if country code is ZA12  then pageformant should be DINA4 else page format should be LETTER.
    Rgrds
    Vasumathi

    Hi,
    According to me, you have to create 2 smartforms, one in DINA4 and other in LETTER format.
    In your driver program, you have to maintain condtion depending on country code.
    if country code = 'ZA12'.
    call fm <--- DINA4 format
    else.
    call fm  <--- LETTER format
    endif.

  • Problem with SQL*Loader and different date formats in the same file

    DB: Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.4.0 - 64bi
    System: AIX 5.3.0.0
    Hello,
    I'm using SQL*Loader to import semi-colon separated values into a table. The files are delivered to us by a data provider who concatenates data from different sources and this results in us having different date formats within the same file. For example:
    ...;2010-12-31;22/11/1932;...
    I load this data using the following lines in the control file:
    EXECUTIONDATE1     TIMESTAMP     NULLIF EXECUTIONDATE1=BLANKS     "TO_DATE(:EXECUTIONDATE1, 'YYYY-MM-DD')",
    DELDOB          TIMESTAMP     NULLIF DELDOB=BLANKS          "TO_DATE(:DELDOB, 'DD/MM/YYYY')",
    The relevant NLS parameters:
    NLS_LANGUAGE=FRENCH
    NLS_DATE_FORMAT=DD/MM/RR
    NLS_DATE_LANGUAGE=FRENCH
    If I load this file as is the values loaded into the table are 31 dec 2010 and 22 nov *2032*, aven though the years are on 4 digits. If I change the NLS_DATE_FORMAT to DD/MM/YYYY then the second date value will be loaded correctly, but the first value will be loaded as 31 dec *2020* !!
    How can I get both date values to load correctly?
    Thanks!
    Sylvain

    This is very strange, after running a few tests I realized that if the year is 19XX then it will get loaded as 2019, and if it is 20XX then it will be 2020. I'm guessing it may have something to do with certain env variables that aren't set up properly because I'm fairly sure my SQL*Loader control file is correct... I'll run more tests :-(

  • Different letter contents in one RDF

    Hi all,
    I have nine different letter style of report. some have table like structure in between the letter content, some may not have table like structure.
    The main content (letter) have to get from the a table field . That field is getting value through a form, while giving value we are placing %TABLE1,%TABLE2 ,... like identifiers in between . This meant to identify at which part we have to split the letter description to include the table like part in the report.
    The content of the table like part may be from another table which will be populated based on emp_code,.....
    the report have tol look like
    It my pleasure...... position HR Assistant

    BASIC | 2000 |
    -----------------|---------------------------- |
    HRA | 1000 |

    suppose X,Y,Z are db table
    following are the sample of values stored in the fields

    y.ehra->1000
    Z.dsm_code->PWI
    Z.dsm_desc->Promotion with increment
    Z.dsm_param_slno ->1,2,3 (ie for one PWI there may have multiple dsm_param_### values)
    Z.dsm_param_title-> Designation,Department,Join_date( with respect to slno 1,2, 3). (Z.dsm_param_title=X.title )
    Z.dsm_param_datatype->CHARACTER,CHARACTER,DATE (with respect to values mentioned in dsm_param_title)
    Z.dsm_param_name->P_desig,P_dept,P_join (wrt dsm_param_datatype)

    Very difficult to understand exactly what you want, but I'll give it a try. Looks like you have 3 queries in your data model:
    select ...
    from x
    select ...
    from y
    select ...
    from zLink the foreign keys between these queries with the link tool. You can also put everything in one query:
    select ...
    from x,y,z
    where ... (use the foreign key relations here)In the layout editor each of the 3 groups will be a different repeating frame.

  • Different Date Formats in the same "From"

    Hello
    We used different date formats depending on the users language.
    In a report this is simple to implement ... read the date field twice (in different formats dd/mm/yyyy and mm/dd/yyyy) and display only one based on the language.
    I want to be able to do the same in a "form" which updates a date. In this case the about is not allowed.
    Has anyone have solution for this using "APEX" forms or do a need to write a process to achieve this?
    Thanks
    Pete

    Pete,
    You don't specify what version of Application Express you're using, so I'll assume APEX 3.1 or later.
    Are you setting the date format yourself, based upon the user's language?
    1) You could have the application's language derived from Browser, and then APEX would automatically set the NLS_LANGUAGE and NLS_TERRITORY settings accordingly. Then, I would simply use 'DS' as the Application Date Format. For Date Pickers on a form, I would use item type 'Date Picker (use Application Date Format)'.
    2) If you're already determining the date format yourself and you don't want APEX to do it for you, ensure that you are setting this value in an application item (e.g., PETE_DATE_FORMAT). Then, you could still use Application Date Format with a value of &PETE_DATE_FORMAT. (inclusive of the trailing period).
    When you use Application Date Format, the conversion should happen automatically for you so that you don't have to code this yourself on the Form.
    I hope this helps.

  • URGENT: XML-SQL: Error parsing different date formats in the same XML file.

    Hi Everyone,
    I have a big problem while using the XML-SQL utility. I have a XML file with different date formats. I get exception like the one below.
    "oracle.xml.sql.OracleXMLSQLException: 'java.text.ParseException: Unparseable date:"
    And the XML file is :
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
    <Info Key="ID">
         <Insert>
              <ID>1</ID>
              <BookingDate>10.12.2001</BookingDate>
              <OpeningTime>19:16</OpeningTime>
         </Insert>
    </Info>
    I have tried using different setDateFormat which is contrary.
    sav.setDateFormat("d.M.y");
    sav.setDateFormat("H:m:s");
    Can someone help me on the same.
    Thanks in advance.
    Subramanian.

    You might have to describe the columns as varchar then modify the table to the right format.

  • Same logo printing different colors for different file formats?

    I created a logo for a client who will be using it for some printed materials.  I provided the logo in 3 different file formats: EPS, JPEG and Tiff.
    In INDesign and MS Word, the logo is printing a different color for the EPS vs the Jpeg/Tiff file types.  Is there something I'm missing?
    I've even tried changing the color to something completely different and we are getting the same result.  There is STiLL a considerable difference between the Eps file and the other two files.

    No the logo was created for print and I originally had used a pantone color but converted to CMYK.  The actual value is C69 M7 Y0 K0.  When my client inserts the eps file into her InDesign layout, it prints a bright aqua color and if she uses either the jpeg or tiff, it is a much different blue.  We've tried other colors because I was thinking it might just be the fact that it's a blue color... but the same thing happens to other colors. I am wondering if there is some sort of color management setting that is causing the eps to be different?

  • Standby Database on a Source and target of different endian formats

    Hi
    I have a this well know case where the source server and target server are with different endian formats. I want to implement a Data guard 11g in this enviroment. How can I do to implementing having the issue of the different endian formats.
    Thanks

    Here is the answer.... for your learning....
    Checking the Database Before Cross-Platform Database Conversion
    As explained in "Basic Concepts of Cross-Platform Data Transportation", you can use the RMAN CONVERT DATABASE command to automate the copying of an entire database from one platform to another.
    Before converting the database, see the list of CONVERT DATABASE command prerequisites described in Oracle Database Backup and Recovery Reference. Confirm that you meet all these prerequisites before attempting the procedure in this section.
    One prerequisite is that both the source and destination platform must share the same endian format. For example, you can transport a database from Microsoft Windows to Linux for x86 (both little-endian), or from HP-UX to AIX (both big-endian), but not from HP-UX to Linux for x86 (big-endian to little-endian).
    Note:
    If you cannot use the CONVERT DATABASE command because the platforms do not share endian formats, then you can create a new database on a destination platform manually and transport needed tablespaces from the source database with cross-platform transportable tablespaces.

  • ANYBODY KNOW HOW 2 BEGIN WRITING ON A PAGE AS IN A LETER FORMAT FOR A BOOK

    WHEN COMPOSING YOUR BOOK OBVIOUSLY YOU CAN CLICK ON YOUR PAGE AS A SINGLE OR A WHOLE PAGE LOOK AND I KNOW I CAN DROP A JPEG IN LETTER FORMAT WHICH DOES NOT LOOK CLEAR OR VERY PRESENTABLE. QUESTION IS THERE A WAY TO JUST BEGIN WRITING ON THAT PAGE JUST AS YOU WOULD START A LETTER I NEED TO WRITE A POEM IN THAT LOOKS CLEAN AND CRISP ANY SUGGESTIONS ?

    1 - learn to use upper and lower case - all caps is like shouting and very hard to read
    2 - I don't have iPhoto 6 anymore but I believe that some book themes have layout pages that are all text just like iPhoto '08 does - see Liz Castro's page for full descriptions of the iPhoto '08 themes and the layouts available for each to see if that points you in a good direction - http://www.lizcastro.com/iphotobookthemes/
    you may have to spend some time digging around in looking at the layouts available for several themes

  • Adobe form not printing on A4 paperbut printing on letter format

    Hi All,
    We have made a form on letter format and its working fine.
    However when treid tofire output to A4 size paper its not working.
    Can some please  help me with this,its not that I can change the paper size in my form from letter size to A4.
    I want the smartform to be in letter format but I should be able to take the printout in A4 also along with letter format.
    Please help me on this. Thank you in advance.
    Regards,
    Kishore Kumar Dasari.

    Hi,
    Do you use a smartform or an Adobe form? You mention both. If it is a smartform and you specify LETTER in the form, then acommand is sent to the printer to select paper size LETTER. Similarly if you specify DINA4 in the form, then acommand is sent to the printer to select paper size A4.
    You can specify page format INCH12 in the form and then no command is sent to the printer so the default paper size of the printer will be used.
    Regards,
    Aidan

  • Trigger returning different date formats.

    Posted from Windows forum:
    We just reticently received a update to an .net application from a vendor. When our client machines (Windows XP) run the app we receive 2 different date formats returned from an post insert table trigger. The correct format is 'DD-MON-YY' in which a couple machines still return and the others return the format 'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MM:SS'. I've tried setting the NLS_Date Format with no success. Database is Oracle 8i. Any suggestions?

    CREATE TABLE X.ACCESS_LOG
    ACCESS_LOG_ID NUMBER NOT NULL,
    SYS_ID NUMBER NOT NULL,
    DATE_IN DATE NOT NULL,
    DATE_OUT DATE NOT NULL,
    INSTRUMENT_ID_IN NUMBER,
    INSTRUMENT_ID_OUT NUMBER,
    STATION_IN VARCHAR2(20),
    STATION_OUT VARCHAR2(20),
    AREA_IN VARCHAR2(25),
    AREA_OUT VARCHAR2(25)
    CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER XFER_TO_TRACKING
    AFTER INSERT
    ON x.ACCESS_LOG
    REFERENCING NEW AS NEW OLD AS OLD
    FOR EACH ROW
    DECLARE
         v_qtr Number;
    BEGIN
    SELECT qtr
    INTO v_Qtr
    FROM X.QTR_SET
    WHERE to_date(:new.Date_In,'dd-mon-yy') BETWEEN first_date AND last_date;
    Insert (....)
    END/
    Here is the basic code for table and trigger. When the trigger fires the value for :new.date_in will come over in the format of "dd-mon-yy", which we have been looking for, or "YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MM:SS" which just came up with this new release depending on which station is used.
