Different machines, different groups.

ok.. so we of course have multiple machines and on each machine a user may be in different groups.. but i get errors ie:
com.waveset.util.WavesetException: An error occurred modifying user 'USERUSER' on resource 'MACHINE'. com.waveset.util.WavesetException: usermod: unknown group dev
but say on MACHINE1 there is group dev and USERUSER is in it.

Please elaborate what you are trying to do. Your description isn't exactly helpful.

Why does my iTunes show apps in two different groups?

When I open my iTunes 10 and look at the Apps tab, it shows my iPhone and iPad apps distributed amongst two different groups: iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad Apps and iPhone and iPod Touch apps. I don't really understand this as I don't have a iPad. An I only loaded a few apps to my iPod Touch years ago. Seems to me that the Listing should be showing apps sorted by the "Authorized Devices" to which they have been installed.
Another complication is that I have two Apple Store accounts...my US account from when I bought my first iPod Touch while living in the US and then a Thai account since I am living in Thailand and it makes payment easier. Isn't there a way to see the apps loaded into my Library sorted by Apple Store account??
Apple software is becoming more and more like the Microsoft products we all love to hate. Sadly, ease of use for the user is out the door. It's why I continue to use iTunes 10 and OS 10.6.8...stable and I know what I get and don't get already :-?

Is there any way to save these new contacts in a specified group instead of putting them into the contacts root, where they are mixed with all the old ones? How to run the Invoices in different groups within the batch in AP

Need to know that how to run the Invoices in different groups within the batch. This will be of very helpful when we deal with lot of lines under one batch. (e.g) like somewhere we issued a Corporate Card to all the employees Via Bank Of America. Every Month they will send the complete details of all the employees who ever swiped the corporate provided BOA. Accordding to Natco all those lines should be loaded as One Invoice so that a Single Payment can be provided to BOA and it will also makes their life easier. This standard program sometimes it works normal sometimes it will run like a TORTOISE. So thats why in the manual they suggested to use GROUP ID to split the Invoice Load.

Changing Cost Center / Profit Center asignment to a different group

I want to change the assignment of some of our cost Centers to different groups in the hierarchy. I know that the data already posted to CC/PC moves to the new group for reporting. Hi,
That's true: by moving CCtr to another group, the reporting will show you the figures under new group. You can copy though, the existing group to a new one (KSH1), and change it afterwards. This will allow you to do the reporting with alternate hierarchies.

Try inserting the groups statically that are common for both the parameaters like this
GROUP BY
Name1,
Country,
MCC || '/' | MNC
and now create a formula like this
whilereadingrecords;
if =1 then
{Name2 field}
else
Now insert one more group using this formula and move the group to second level by using group options.

Same legal unit as investee on different groups

Hi experts,
I am trying to enter same legal unit on different groups in the legalentity dimension members through the parenth1 hierarchie.
The problem is the system does not allow to enter 2 lines with same legal unit so it is not possible to tell the legalentity dimension members this entity belongs to two other groups. So at the end i decided to enter this consolidation unit in the group with more shares over it.
I am realized this data is entered in the dynamic hierarchie screen so in the consolidation reporting there will not any problem.
On the other hand if the owner of the group in which the entity has not been included wants to view a report with input data of the group, he/she could not see data about this entity that it is suposed it is on the group.
Example of the issue.
Company1(Belongs group1) owns the 70% of Company3
Company2(Belongs group2) owns the 30% of Company3
Company3 placed on the group with more shares(group1)
If the owner of the group 2 try to open a dynamic report of the data inputs of the group, company3 will not be showed on the report if we choose group2 in the current view parameters
Do Anybody have this issue before? How can we solve that problem?

Easily duplicate / paste layer in different group folder?

I design Web sites using Layer Comps so the homepage and innerpage examples are all in one .PSD. This means my Photoshop CC file has TONS of layers and folders that require me to scroll in the Layers Palette.
Is there a way to copy/paste or move a layer to a different group folder without dragging it? Copy/paste for layer styles is a great tool. Is there anything like this for layers themselves?
Sometimes I resort to opening a blank PSD to drag the layer to that, then go back to my source document and auto select the new group I want it in, flip back to the blank doc and drag the layer from there. That is not a great workaround if I want the positioning to be the same as the original layer.

Getting file names of different groups in a data portal

Hi,
I am finding difficult to retreive the file names of the different groups loaded in the data portal. For example, say I have loaded two different files of same ext .tdms in to the data portal which automatically assigns as two groups. My objective is to retreive the file name of the two groups loaded using VBS in diadem 11.1.
Can anyone help me in this regard.

I have got a plugin which loads the multiple lvm files with their sourcefile name. Earlier it would be like Labview Data, Labview data1, Labview data2.... when multiple files are loaded. Now with this plugin attached in the startup script, all the files are loaded with their original file names.
Attached the plugins, place the Custom LVM Load Event. Vbs in the start up script, the other attachment is the function callled by the main script.

this is the expected result. Data source is a Business Object relational universe
This is the account structure ( first 2 levels ) extracted from a webi report
In database i haven't all account aggregation : example "PRMO MDC" is "TOTALE RICAVI"+"CUSTO DEL VENDUTO" i need to calculate this on the report.
Another example: "MDC COMMERCIALE" is not account class liv3 "MDC COMMERCIALE" but it's "PRIMO MDC"+"MDC COMMERCIALE"
EBITDA N°1 = "MDC COMMERCIALE"+"SPESE DI GESTIONE"
EBITDA N°2 = "EBITDA N°1" + "AMMORT E ACCANTONAM"
