Different order of iPhoto albums at iTunes

Hi there,
after upgrading to iOS6 and iTunes now there is the problem that the order I sorted my albums in iPhoto on my MBP is not available at iTunes. There is only an arbitrarily order of the albums thus now on iPhone and iPad I have not the order that I want :-(
...particularly annoying with almost 70 albums with in 5.000 photos
Any Idea to solve this problem or is it "just" a bug?

When you launch iPhoto with the option key depressed you'll get this window:

All libraries on your hard drive (and on external drives) will be listed and the currently used library will be listed as (default).

Apparently I can't order an iPhoto album as I live in Macau. Used to have a Canadian CC so it wasn't a problem previously. Anyone know of a work-around?

How to establish a specific order on an album in itunes?

The order of the album is supposed to go like this:
Live Forever CD1
Live Forever CD2
I Know A Place
Punky Reggae Party (Jamaican 12'' Version)
Smile Jamaica
Who Colt The Game
Keep On Moving
When I play them on itunes, itunes rearranges them in this order:
I Know A Place
Live Forever CD1
Live Forever CD2
Punky Reggae PArty (Jamaican 12'' Version)
Smile Jamaica
Who Colt The Game
Keep On Moving

Thanks for responding. I'm afraid I don't get that option, both when I just do a single track or an entire album. The only option I get is the Disc Number option but no Track Number option is given to me.

Can't see my iPhoto Albums in iTunes...

This is a puzzler: Below my iPhoto Library of some 5000 pix, I've got 20 or so titled photo albums with selected photos, lined up in the left column of iPhoto (v.5). I'd like to copy just a few of these albums to my 60GB iPod-Photo. But when I go to iTunes (v.4.9) to select the folders for syncing, the only folders that display are the annual folders (2003, 2004, 2005, etc.) and their numbered monthly & daily content folders. I don't need thousands of pix on my iPod!!!! But all my titled albums, which are visible and intact in iPhoto, are missing from the iTunes list. An empty folder called "Albums" DOES appear, but it shows "0 photos" as its content. I've tried trashing and recreating the Albums.xml file, to no avail. Anyone have any thoughts on what the problem is, and how to fix it?

I'm new to this whole ipod thing, and leaving messages. I coulnd't figure out how to post a new message, but i have a similar prioblem to this, but not exactly the same. basically, i loaded my photos form my computer to my ipod, but now i want to delete some, and i don't know how to do this, and i can't find where the photos section is in my i-tunes. I think i have the latest version of i-tunes because i literally only recieved my ipod last week.
If someone can help me i'd really appreciate this, because apple help pages are not very useful

Problem syncing iPhoto albums through iTunes

While using iTunes 11.0.5 to sync iPhoto 11 albums to my iPad, iTunes seems not be awaree of any update in the contents of the albums.
iTunes also recognizes new albums if I create them in iPhoto, but indicates they contain 0 photos.
This way I am not able to transfer new photos from my MAc to my iPad using sync in iTunes.
Any idea how to solve this problem?

Try deleting the photo cache from your Mac and then re-try the photo sync (with all albums that you want selected) and see if they all then copy over - the location of the cache, and how to delete it, is on this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1314

I am trying to order an iphoto picture album. A window comes up asking me to redo my acct info. I have done this repeatedly to no avail. I went to store, then to account, enabled the quick click but this did not help either.

ITunes doesn't see new added photos in iPhoto Album

Hello:
Am attempting to sync an iPhoto Album using iTunes on a iMac, 10.7.2 to an iP4 running iOS 5.1 Have successfully sync'ed this iPhoto Album to the iP4 for some time... Now, in iTunes, the number of photos in the Album does not agree with the count in iPhoto; iTunes does not see the photos I added in iPhoto today; so the sync doesn't put them on the phone. (Have used at least two methods to add these to the Album in iPhoto; it consistently shows them added and photo count incremented...)
Any suggestions/help appreciated.

OK...for anyone having this problem... It seems that iMac/iPhoto may save image items with image extensions as "documents", not with a .jpg / image extension. Even when I download them and use the "save as image..." menu choice.
Sorry for pulling the trigger on this so quickly, but importing an image using "save as image" led me to believe that Mac OS and iPhoto would tag it as such...it may not...in spite of the fact that iPhoto displays it as an image and recognizes it.

This has beome very difficult as it is my daughters Birthday on Friday and I have been unable to order the iphoto albums as the sytem refuses to let me order them as it does not think my phone number is valid. I have put this number in every sytem I have including my shipping information. can anyone help me. This is a UK number and my details are in UK directories.

IPhoto albums appear differently ordered on iPod Touch

Imac 2010 with 10.7 and latetst update
iPhoto '11 with latetst update
iTunes with latets update
iPod Touch 4g
iOs 5.01
In iPhoto there are different albums with a certain, manual, ordering.
When syncing these complete albums with iTunes to the iPod the same, manual, ordering was used.
Recently (I believe since OSX 10.7) the ordering seems to be random on the iPod, after syncing. No changes are made on the albums on the iMac.
Ordering the albums on the iPod and then syncing with iPhoto has no effect on the iMac and after the sync the albums are reshuffled again on the iPod.
This is about Albums, not the orde rof individual photo's (EXIF and other stuff).
Anybody else with this issue?
Any solutions?

- the link is about photo's. I specifically mention Albums
- the link (and the cahnge) is from august 2010. My album sync problem is from late 2011.

Apple TV (2) photo slideshow display order different than iPhoto album being shown

Both ATV (2) and iPhoto (9.4.2) have latest software updates. I sort photos in Albums by date. But ATV displays the photos in a different order. Does ATV use some other intrinsic sort order for its display? Is there a way to make the ATV slideshow show the photos in an Album in the same order in which they appear in that Album in iPhoto on my iMac? Thanks.

I suspect that you will have to re-edit the metadata to accomplish your goal. As images are copied and moved this is often modified (place/geotag, faces, dates).......... Just a though. You can download the photos and both check it and if necessary change it in iPhoto

Can I put iTunes library and iPhoto albums on external hard drive?

How can I, if there is a way put my iTunes library and iPhoto albums on my external hard drive to free up space on my internal hard drive? If this can be done what are possible issues and do I just access them through my external drive when I need them. Can I sync my iPod to the external drive in order to deal with daily pod casts etc?

Your profile signature is confusing. There it says "iPhoto '08, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8)". But your question mentions older systems: " iphoto 7 and cannot download the upgrade on my OSX 10.6.8 system"
Do you have two different Macs? If you have a second mac with OS X Mountain Lion (10.8), you could upgrade that to MAvericks and buy the most recent iPhoto '11, version 9.5.1 from the App Store. That would be the least expensive solution to upgrade your iPhoto.
If you only have iPhoto 7 on OSX 10.6.8, you can can buy the boxed iLife '11 installer package from Amazon. This will install an early version of iPhoto '11, that runs well with your current system and will let you print your book. You will need to run the iPhoto library upgrader to convert your old library, see: iPhoto '11: About the Library Upgrader
Also, you should be aware, that upgrading your library may change the book layout a bit, because the themes have changed between the versions, so you need to keep a backup copy of the library and iPhoto 7, to be able to compare the upgraded version to the original.
