Different PO item number in SAP and in external system

We are sending Purchase Orders to external system via Idoc and receiving dispatch advices (Inbound delivery) from the external systems via Idoc. In SAP PO line items are numbered as 10,20,30....... In the external system the line items are numbered as 1,2,3........
So when Inbound delivery is received into SAP from external system it is failing due to line item numbers are not matching.
I got info that this issue can be resolved by using fields E1EDL24-POSNR and E1EDL24-POSEX correctly. I do not know exactly how.The Idoc type used is DESADV.
Please help with this issue.

You can see these fields in WE02 when you process with your idoc number.If you want to edit idoc POsnr from 1...10 then you can edit idoc through we19 transaction.
If you want perminanat solution then check with ABAPer to pass one zero after line item number as your external system passes 1,2....10..etc.
This can possible check with your technical team.

Receiver is FTP only.....
SAP side is RFC.........
RFC sender will be initiating the scenario, and there is receiver is File, PI should go to file directory and take the file then send it back to RFC as response.
Sender: RFC
Receiver: File
1. is this scenario with condition based routing.. so that each time outof many receiver systems it will trigger any specific system.
if above is the case then you can achive this without BPM also..

I Used async in this scenario.....sender side configurations also done....
But when when I am triggering BAPI from SE37 I am getting an error
Exception SYSTEM_FAILURE

Runtime error CALL_FUNCTION_NOT_FOUND has occurred
How to Solve this????
I checked the RFC destination which i created in TCP/IP..a nd i mentioned the same in se37 RFC target system..
Connection is Ok
Or we need to create proxy for MI and report for this?

Hi,
- Xif adapters and service process the BDOC messages.
- adapters for inbound and outbounfd processing.
-it will forward the messages from the inbound queues to the control component.
-BDOC is a business document where the flow of data to and from the CRM system takes place.
-Bdoc is a container that contain business data
- it describes the hierarchial structure of the business data.
-you can also create custom specific BDOC types,
-BDOC's as a data container to process business objects as one unit and this avoid having to transport several individual tables.
Bdoc types are found in BDOC repositry.
Bdoc types have two part
Header- consist of one single segment so-caooed control segment
Body - consist of one or more data segment
Idoc having three types of data:
control record
Data record
status record

Printing the data of SAP in the external system!!

Hi Friends,
I have one requirement.
The user is using some external system for creating PO/SO through BAPI from SAP R/3,the actual requirement is when the user presses the print button in the external system
then the corresponding PO/SO should get printed in the external system.How can i achieve this?

Here some of points which i think
1. Get PO number from external number
2. For the some PO write RFC, which will give you
    corresponding PO details from SAP.
3. So get data from SAP system.
4. come back to external system extract PO data which
    you have recently got from SAP system
5. Using print command in external system do can finish
    your work.
This all is depend upon external system. If external
system is SAP then things are much simpler than this.

Different commitment item between FI/CO and FM

We have defined a commitment item group 506 and two sub commitment items 70 and 90 which are Directly postable in Former Budget Structure Template. And these sub commitment items was defined in the G/L account master record.
We park FI documents all through using commitment items 70 and 90. But I find some Funds Center only commitment item group 506 displayed in Report FMRP_RFFMTO30X.
Our DEV system have a client copy from PRD at 2008.6.1. In DEV system I find some Funds Center displayed commitment item 70 and 90 in Report FMRP_RFFMTO30X. That mean these commitment items is right before 2008.6.1, Some operates made budget controlling changed from 70 and 90 to 506.
I want to know, which operates could make this and how can I revert.

Interface between SAP and Document management system

Hi,
I have a requirement to interface SAP 4.7 with a Document management system(Fakta).A vendor invoice will be created in SAP using FB60 transaction.The vendor invoice(in paper form) will be scanned by the Fakta digital document system.The Fakta system will handle the approval process for the vendor invoice and update the status of invoice in SAP as APPROVED.
My requirement is when an SAP user wants to see the scanned invoice stored in the fakta system,he should be able to view it from SAP preferably from FB60 or the document overview for the invoice in SAP.What is the best way to do this.
I found one option of using RSDEMO_HTML_VIEWER which may not be useful as we think.Is there a better option available?
Please share your experience.

Communication between SAP and JMS external server

Dear all,
I have to create a formular Smartform and provide file XML. For that it's ok because the smartform allow it in standard.
After I have to send the file XML to server JMS. How to make that ?? I have got a system SAP Netwaever 7.0 ECC 6.0 only stack ABAP. And I haven't got SAP Netweaver PI and I can't to install it.
I saw in SAP Netweaver Library "Components of SAP Communication Technology" differents connectors available for example Java connector (JCo). Can I use that for send to server JMS?? (with little developement of course).
Or the stack Java (J2EE) is required ??? I am going to have to install it also.

Better you continue with that and plan and document the file system and size strategy.
'SAP Sizing' is very important, utilize it - service.sap.com/sizing
After you understand the guides' advice and explore standard sizing, then share your queries with us.
This concept is very detailed one and really the 'subjective' one - depends case to case - customer to customer - ultimately the SIZING will help you - It can't be explained clearly in a discussion thread 'initially'

Can I have different Libraries on my internal HD and an External HD?

I'm out of internal HD space and need to move most of my Photos/Events to a different iPhoto Library on an external HD. From the discussions (and the Fat Cat site) it appears that Fat Cat's iPhoto Library Manager may allow me to do this - is this correct? Any other suggestions?

Yes - or you can simply copy the iPhoto library to the external drive and switch between libraries by depressing the option key, launching iPhoto and using the select library option - once the library is safely on the external and tested you can delete photos form the one on the internal drive leaving only the ones you want - not that doing it in smaller batches of 100 or so gives the best results

Get PO and Item number from FI Cleared Items

Hi,
I need to retrieve PO and item numbers from FI cleared items.
So I retrieve the records for a particular GR/IR account from table BSIS. Based on FI document number, item number, fiscal year and company code, I get the PO and item numbers from table BSEG.
However, I cannot use BSEG in query i.e. SQ01.
What is the easiest way for me to retrive PO and items numbers?

Hi,
First of all, cleared items live in BSAS. BSIS is for the items that are still open.
Goto SQ02 and make a direct table read to BSAS; click 'Extras' icon; on the right part of screen click 'Create' icon; give name BSEG and choose 'Additional table' radio button. The keys suggested by the system should be good.

Item number in billing document not matching with delivery document-reg

Hi All,
In the billing document the item number is coming from Shipment document. ie., there are three deliveries in a shipment. Each delivery has got one line item, ie., 10. These three deliveries are assigned to a shipment, the order in which the deliveries are attached if we take as 10 for first delivery, 20 for th esecond and 30 for the third, In billing document the billing from first delivery is getting the item number as 10, the second delivery's billing document is getting the item number as 20 and the third as 30.
Can someone please reply where and how this is configured?

Item number in sales order versus delivery not equal

Hello Guru's,
Please help me solve this problem, i created a sales order with 6 items in it and save it. Before I create the delivery I deleted the sales order item number 1,2 and 3 so the item that was redy for delivery are sales order items nubmer 4,5 and 6. When i created a delivery for this materials the item number that was in it is not 4,5,6 but 1,2,3 so the item number 4 in the sales order was considered as the 1st item in teh delivery. What will I do in order that when i create a delivery for a sales order it will capture the item number maintained in the sales order.
example :
sales order-
item   material number material description
1              123                      abc                           deleted
2               456                     def
3               789                     ghi
delivery
1               456                     def
2               789                     ghi
it should be
delivery
2               456                     def
3               789                     ghi

Hello Ysabella,
Your requirement is justified since the numbering in the sales order would usually follow the sequence given in the customer's purchase order. If there are a lot of items in the PO, and if this sequence is messed up, then the customer would lose track of what he/she ordered and what he/she received.
To ensure that the item number from the Sales order is copied to the delivery, all you have to do is set a flag in transaction VTLA at the header level - 'Copy Item number' (V_TVCPLAK-POSVO).

SAP and TAS Connection through Web Services

we are planning to Integrate SAp and another TAS system using web services (no XI/PI). Please tell me if this way is correct.
XML format of iDoc will be the data format, web service technology will be used to exchange data between SAP and TAS.
To Transfer data to TAS, the client application running on SAP server will try to connect to the web service running on TAS server. Once connection is established, idoc data will be sent to TAS, then the connection will be closed.

Hello,
What will be you Language used for Connection.
One method i may suggest is use ABAP FTP.
With this push the files to a file sever location and read it using webservice.
like wise let webservice generate a file and place a file in location and let ABAP prog pick the file.
this way you can maintain a status flag for the number of records, thus having a staging area.
