Different PO series

system is generating PO/Delivery schedule series for one Product.( say for two wheeler )
we have to generate a new PO/Delivery schedule series for another product.(Say Four wheeler)
What are the steps to add new PO series and where to assign ?

For every execution SAP dont have different Transaction codes..
For creation of new Doc type please go to...
SPRO => MM => Purchasing => PO => Define No. range please define your new No. range here and save, Come back and execute Document type => click on the row of NB and press Copy button on Header and go ahead Please give Different name and Type starting with "Z" then Check whether NBF(Field Selection key) is assigned to your New Z doc type and assign new no. range you have created and save.
and create a new PO for this Doc type in ME21N select the new name you provided for new Doc type..
Try at your end.

The queuing series to be is based on the circumstances. If the client is already using MQ, then we need to go for MQ. Similarly for others too.

About security levels, i think normal Message Level and Network level securities can be handled with JMS adapters.

How to provide different plor series for plot chart

How to provide different plot series for a Plot Chart.
The IDs of the series are given in a ComboBox control

Series are stored in an array. If there is only one series, then you can change it simply by "pushing" a series into a new array, and then assigning that series array to the chart. If you are replacing one series in the chart series array, then you have to figure out which to remove and put the new one in.

UDO with different numbering series

Hi, we have a UDO with 2 different numbering series. When adding documents to the default, it is ok and adds the doc to the next avaialble number. The problem is when selecting the second serie, when adding the doc, it gets added to the default serie. A message says: "the actual posted document number is..
Does anyone have an idea why this happens??

Thanks for your answer. I am using SDK 2007.
When I created de UDO, I set manageseries = yes. I enter the series into sbo form. But when I try to use a serie other diferent than default, when the document is posted, I get the message : "the actual posted docuement is ..." and show me the numbering of default series.
This is way that I am using to set the number to docnum:

Displaying different data series on drilldown

I have a bar/line combo chart which displays two data series in bar form and one in line form.
What I want to be able to do is to only show the bars when drilling down and not the line data series.
I haven't found a way to do this yet, can anyone help?

I had considered using navigation to go to another chart, but surely if I do this it will go to the same chart wherever I click on the chart, rather than actually drilling down to the next level in the dimension (and thus being different depending on which item I click on) as a normal drilldown should do, unless I have missed something in your explanation?

Line chart with different length series?

Hello,
I would like to draw a line chart with three different series.
1. Previous year
2. Current year (until now)
3. Estimate (2 months)
I've got 12 values for the previous year, 4 values for the current year (January to April) and 2 estimated values for May and June.
When I define the three series, each is stretched over the whole width of the chart. How can I avoid that and force for instance the April values to be displayed above each other? Is it possible at all with this type of chart? (In Excel, it's quite easy...)

Hi,
Youll have to write a query for your series 2 and 3 that has the same number of data points as your series 1 query, in your example that would be 12. Line series charts are always stretched over the full width by design. The months for which you have no data, would have a value of NULL. Please note that there is one issue, which has been fixed in 2.2, that causes the charting engine to only render dots instead of lines for series 2, 3, , if they have a NULL value at the last data point. So if I understand your requirements correctly, you should try this on our 2.2 hosted beta instance, and then upgrade to 2.2 when it comes out.

Not downloading TV series - telling me I'm using a different Apple ID but I'm not

I downloaded two episodes of a TV show ("Touch") to my iPad and watched them. I then paid for the rest of the season of the TV show as one purchase (on the same iPad) to get the discounted price. I then downloaded the next episode of the TV show on the same iPad and watched it with no problem. I then tried to download the next episode on the same iPad and the following message popped up:
"This device is already associated with an Apple ID. If you download past purchases with your Apple ID, you cannot auto-download or download your past purchase with a different ID for 90 days."
At the bottom of the pop-up message were two options: "Cancel" and "Transfer"
Whenever I press the download cloud, the blue circle appears, but this pop-up message pops up and the blue circle just spins and spins and does nothing else.
I had this problem once before when I tried to download a single episode of a different TV series. I contacted Apple Customer Support but they didn't understand that I had been using the same device and same Apple ID all along and I gave up on trying to figure out the problem. I think maybe I did create a different Apple ID like two years ago, but if I did, I have no idea what the username and password are.
I should also add that this is the first time I've tried to download an entire season of a series; however, my Apple records indicate that the entire series was purchased and all of the episodes are listed In the video storage app.
Does anyone have any idea about what's going on? If someone could help me with this problem, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you in advance for any info anyone can provide!

Apple ID's are not device specific, so when you changed it on the iPad 2 it changed it on the iPhone 4 as well, since it's the same account still. What you need to do is create a second Apple ID (so you'll have two accounts, one for iPhone 4 and a seperate one for iPad 2).
To create a new Apple ID on your iPad 2:
1) Go into Settings > Store.
2) If you are already signed in, tap your Apple ID on the screen and you will be given a few options, one of which is to sign out of your account.
3) After you sign out, now click the "Sign in" button.
4) Tap "Create New Apple ID" and follow the instructions on-screen.

New Document Series for different locations for Production Orders

Hi Experts,
I have came across a scenario where we have to setup different Document Series for Different Locations. Actually the Company is having 2 units . First one is the factory itself and the second one is Subcontracting Unit to which the company sends the job work order . But there it wishes to track the productions processes and the Stock tracking Warehouse Wise for
this Second unit also . As Such I have created 2 locations and one warehouse for (RM,SFG,FG) for both the units.
The obvious requirement here is to maintain different Document Series for Productions orders for both the units .
Please guide me about how to overcome this scenario.

Yes. You can maintain different document series for production Order or any documents depending upon your business scenario. Let's say, you need to maintain Production orderu2019s of job work and sub contracting.
You can define this under Administration>System Initialization> Document numbering.
Select Production orders--> let say Factory first number 1, last number 199999, select current period indicator and update. Similarly for the subcontracting, in the name field, "work order", first number as 110001 or the way you desire, and then the last number.

Single Chart Series with multiple color data points

I am developing an application using the flex chart component
and I am binding data to 3 different chart series which is pretty
intense processing. I was wondering can I use only one chart series
and when I bind the data points just to change the color per data
point which meet certain criteria?

ADF Line Graph with dynamic series - can do ?

I want to implement a drill-down from a high level line graph into a lower level line graph. The master graph may have 4 series in it, and each of these 4 series may have 6 - 8 different sub-series that need to be shown in the lower level graph (so up to 30 in all sub-series). Rather than create 4 of the lower level graphs, what I'd like to be able to do is create the lower level graph once using a VO which reads the master graph context. The definition of a graph model however in the ADF at first glance doesn't appear to cater for this. Have others done this ?
Thinking that if I could:
a) define the detail VO so that it used generic columns for the series amounts
b) was able to override the series attribute name/label used for the legend etc. by way of code (backing bean?) for each series again based on context
c) was able to optionally hide a series that was not needed (as defined by the generic detail VO) for a given master context
... then maybe I'd have a chance. But b) and c) don't look catered for.

For the record, I gave this a go, and was able to get it working satisfactorily. There was no way as far as I could tell to set the visibility of a series. So essentially, what I've been able to do is set the series label to blank, set the line width to 1 (min, doesn't seem to honor 0), and the color to white to match the background of the chart ... for those series that are superfluous in a given chart render. It works fine except for the fact that if you've used the highlight rollover series effect, if you move the mouse over the legend area where the "hiding" series are, you get a bit of flashing on the legend entries that are displayed.
Ideally, we'd have a way of actually taking these out entirely. If there's a way to do it, I'd be interested in hearing about it.

Chart series can't change color

I create different type series in the series block only the columnserie can affect my specified color.
The other two serie only use the default color. The color like this:

Dear Experts,
I have created different different document series for marketing documents such as 'MEL', 'PER', 'SYD'.
Now suppose, I create a Sales Order using series 'MEL'. My requirement is if I copy this Sales order to delivery, then the document series on the delivery should also be selected as 'MEL' automatically.
how can I do that ?

Document numbering series depends on the user who is adding the document. Due to that, for example if the user who created a Sales Order is the same user than the one who is creating the Delivery and he has got assigned same document series as the default one for Sales Orders and for Deliveries on Document Numbering customization, system will propose the same series than the one one in the Sales Order. Or if it is a different user, but both user have got assigned same series, it will also work as desired.
The problem would be if the user who is Copying from the Sales Order into the Delivery has got assigned different series than the user who created the Sales Order. In that case system will propose the series who is assigned as default series to the user who is creating the delivery, no matter what the series on Sales Order is.
I think you could block a user from adding a Delivery if its series does not match with Sales Order's one using Transaction Notification. But I do not think that there is a way to making system always propose the series based on related document series.

Query to search within several different tables...

This is my first post, so be patient
Anyway, I have next tables in SAP B1 - OINV, OPCH, ORPC, ORCT, OVPM and all of those have DocNum, plus OJDT which has Number.
My problem is how to create query which will search through all of those values.
Problem is that those values are different, since series are different e.g. OINV.DocNum is from 10000 to 12000, OPCH.DocNum is from 15000 to 19999 etc...
I am not a newbie when it comes to SQL but this with the SAP B1 is completely new experience.
I will appreciate any help!

The scenario is like this, the client involved in different activities selling software, providing corporate training, implementing SAP projects etc. So these departments have their own sales, presales and marketing teams working for generating the business. Whenever they contact a new prospect, customer or client all the activities are need to be recorded in single SAP B1 system. So these sales guys want to use a different numbering series with prefixes resembling their department name followed by a number generated by the SAP B1 system. Any suggestions Please.
