Different Sender ID

Hi All,
In our host trading partner i configured "Sender ID" as "XXX"
In our host B2B, can we have a different sender ID's... if Yes , Please tell how to configure this?
While creating a Operational capabilities we have a tab called Dcoument Exchange, there are like
General
* Name
* Exchange Protocol Revision Generic - 1.0
Exchange Protocol Parameters
Name Default Value Override Value
EDI Interchange Sender ID Qualifier
EDI Interchange Sender ID
EDI Interchange Receiver ID Qualifier
EDI Interchange Receiver ID
EDI Group Sender ID Qualifier
EDI Group Sender ID
EDI Group Receiver ID Qualifier
EDI Group Receiver ID
Could you guys tell me what is this for and use?

Hi CNU,
These fields are for TP identification in EDI. By default it is exchange but you may change it to interchange/group. Please refer -
http://www.b2bgurus.com/2007/08/trading-partner-identification-in-edi.html
You may create separate DC's to have different sender ID's.

  • Using a different Sender GL in Internal Order Settlement

When we settle an Internal Order from GL/Cost Element 1 to Fixed Assets, we get:
    Dr: Fixed Asset
    Cr: GL/Cost Element 1.
For various reasons, we do not want to Credit the original GL/Cost Element but rather another one.
Does anyone have any sugestions as to how this can be achieved?
    Thanks.

    Hi
Can you tell me what is meant by "Internal Order from GL/Cost Element.."?
As per the functionality, when you settle an internal order, something is moved from the intrnal order and put to another.  Hence the place from where it is moved is credited and the receiver is debited.  The internal order has postings through the cost element you have posted.  So the movement is from what the internal order has in its account.
Order settlement is done through a secondary cost element created and this cost element is used for debiting and crediting the sender and receivers.  Hence your idea of using a totally different GL/Cost element (of course that do not have postings with respect fo the internal order in question) is not practical, I hope.

  • Host setup having two different Sender Id's for EDI X12 over generic exch

Greetings. I am attaching the document which has screen prints of B2B set up that we have done for a trading partner called PETsMART and the Host set up for RSC(interchange sender/receiver Id is 9014270492). The TP is sending 850s to us and we are (the sellers) sending Invoices (810). I am pasting the RAW EDI data for the 850s and 997s sent by PETsMART and RSCs Respectively. Their interchange sender Id is ISA06 173808684. They are sending the Interchange receiver Id as 781318710 for one account and 9014270492 for the second account. But the set up we have for RSC capabilities (EDI_X12 Over Internet) is for only one interchange receiver Id. I mean to say we can support only one Interchange Receiver Id. How can we support both the accounts at the same time? I dont think we can set up two different hosts. Can we? Is there a way to support this?
First the RSC Host set up has been done with interchange sender Id as 781318710 and did the testing with a test PO and sent the FA. Later the intrechange sender Is set up as 9014270492 and did the second test PO and sent the set up. The trading partner can send the POs in production with any of the sender id. How to support both the Ids at the same time?

    Hi,
As per the above suggestion I have added the Interchange receiver Id and redeployed the configuration. The TP is not getting the FA for the second account whose interchange Id is added. The error is as folows.

  • XI question on two different sender

    Hello all,
I want XI to pick up two files and send them to two different receivers based on some conditions. This condition will be done via message mapping.
Is it possible to do it without BPM? If we can do it with BPM how? I don't want to use transformation step becasue don't want to combine the messages.
    Regards,
    N.S

    HI,
I think you should use BPM. We have one exact example see the below link
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/77/0737133012b24b9d0a12c6df2b1054/content.htm
But without BPM?? i hav'nt tried,
    not sure try
to receive two messages from the same machine as two messages and combine them into mltiple mesages and use 1:n , two interface mappings to send to two diffrent systems.the same interface mappings in receiver determination
then other way is if you use the condition to send to diffrent systems.

  • Different sender address and automatic, configurable signature per address?

    Hello,
I use Mail.app 4.0 on Snow Leopard (10.6) and I have a problem to configure it.
How can I define different Signatures per sender address. I know how I can define more than one sender address, and i know how can i define more signatures. But I can't configure any dependency between sender addresses and signatures.
Isn't it possible in Mail.app? Anybody know a solution?

User 2 just needs to be a contact.
A DL is also possible too.

    Hi Matthew,
You can achieve this by using multiple EVDRE's in the same schedule.
    For example
    A               B        J       K             L
    EVDRE1                     EVDRE2
             COL1                               COL1
PARENTA  10              PARENTA CHILD1     =lookup value in column J using column A and some formula eg EVPRO(child1)
PARENTB  10              PARENTA CHILD2     =lookup value in column J using column A and some formula eg EVPRO(child2)
                             PARENTB CHILD1    ...
                             PARENTB CHILD2
    Hope this helps,

  • Different Sender Service as expected! Please help...

    Hi all,
I have an HTTP -> XI -> HTTP scenario with on both sides an SAP system. So the SAP systems communicate with XI through HTTP.
In the SLD i configured both systems. e.g. systemA and systemB.
SystemA sends data to XI and XI sends it to systemB (the receiver service is SYSB_100). This works fine.
Now, systemB sends a message back to XI, but in the monitoring it returns an error saying that it cannot find a receiver determination. If i look at the sender service name it says <b>BS_</b>SYSB_100 in stead of SYSB_100.
My configuration is done using SYSB_100 in the sender agreement etc. In the SLD i can not find anything saying <b>BS_</b>SYSB_100..
Does anybody know where to find the prefix "BS_"? I have looked all day, but i am not able to find it anywhere.. it seems that systemB sends it, but i am not sure.. systemB is ECC 6.0 system by the way...
    Thanks in advance.
    M. Leeraar.

    Hi -
If your using the sender plain HTTP adapter, then you have to supply the service name (e.g  BS_SYSB_100) in the query string of the URL.  For example:
    http://sap-ag.com:8088/sap/xi/adapter_plain?<b>service=sender</b>&namespace=urn%3Asap-ag%2Ecom&interface=%2Fsap%2Forders
If you're using an RFC/HTTP destination to send your request, check the destination in your source SAP system.
Any special reason why ur using HTTP adapter instead of proxy/idoc/rfc adapter for sap to sap communication?

    Jin

  • Mobile me/iCloud has different send from email address

Hi, I've upgraded to iOS 6 on my iphone4 and since ive done this my mobile me address wont send any emails, I can receive emails fine but when I go to send a mail on icloud or on my phone or on the mail programme it is telling me that my send from address is [email protected]  I dont know who this is and I cant seem to change the settings.  I've re installed mail several times and it still doesnt work, has this happened to anyone else or can someone help please??

If you go to http://icloud.com and go to the Mail page, click on the cogwheel icon at top right and choose Preferences, then click 'Accounts' in the toolbar of the pane which opens, what does it show (don't post your email address)?

  • IMessage - different Sender information than Apple ID

I have 1 Apple ID setup under my wife's name. Linked to this ID is my son's iPod Touch. Currently when an iMessage is sent, my wife's Apple ID appears as the sender. We would like to change the Sender's ID to my son's name-without setting up New Apple ID

I had this problem. I finally figured it out yesterday. Try this:
On the device that is having trouble seeing purchases, go to Settings>iCloud>Family Sharing> Then tap on the user of the device you are on. Under "Family Purchases" make sure it has the AppleID of the person for that device. Mine originally had my husbands AppleID in there (he is the Organizer), but I changed it to mine. That doesn't make it so that the purchases are under me. The purchases remained under my husband, but my ID had to be in this spot for it to work.
After that, I closed settings, then I went to Settings>iTunes and App Store> click on the AppleID and Sign Out, even if it has the right AppleID in there. Then Sign In again using the AppleID of the person on that device. Again-- even if it has the right ID in there to start, still sign out and back in.
See if they show up. If they don't show up still, try doing a restart (hold down power button and home button until it restarts).
They should show up by then, but if they don't, at that point, try to go into iCloud and Sign Out and back in.
I think the key is having the right ID in "Family Purchases". I hope this works for you.

  • ALE Conversion Rules:  Make recv'r dependant on different sender segment?

    Hi Everyone,
I am putting in a conversion rule for MBEW-LIFO.  I need this field to be checked on the receiving end ONLY for certain Material Types.
I know I can create a conversion rule to place in 'X' in MBEW-LIFO, but can I make that dependant upon Material Type, which is not in the E1MBEWM segment? I believe material type is in E1MARCM....

  • Gmail subject from different sender than its contents

    Hello all:
Suddenly, a few days ago, I noticed that some (10%) of my gmail, downloaded using IMAP to Apple Mail, is curiously mixed up and missing:
The Subject and From are LinkedIn, but the Reply to and the entire BODY of the message are from WestJet airlines. There is no matching subject/from WestJet and no matching body from LinkedIn. Online, everything is fine - the problem is in the download.
I have not upgraded to Mavericks because I am afraid of such problems. Is there a quick fix? Rebuild? Thank you so much!
    Tannis

I rebuilt the folder containing the problem emails and that seemed to have fixed the weirdness.

  • How to re-use one SOAP Sender Channel for two different messages?

    Hi!
I have an XI Proxy to SOAP Sync Scenario. 5 messages uses only 2 channels - cc_XI_Sender and cc_SOAP_Receiver. All messages comes from one Sender Channel and goes to one Receiver channel, and it works fine.
When I make the same for SOAP to XI Proxy Sync Scenario, I've got a problem. For example I have 2 different messages (mi_so_MSG_ONE and mi_so_MSG_TWO), so it works, if I had a two different sender channels (cc_SOAP_R1 and cc_SOAP_R2).
If I set the same Sender Channel in both Sender Agreements (cc_SOAP_R1), only one message (mi_so_MSG_ONE) goes without errors. When I send a second message (mi_so_MSG_TWO), in SXMB_MONI this message comes from Business System (BS_TEST) as message type one (mi_so_MSG_ONE), and then in stage of transformation in Interface Determination goes to message mapping program for other kind of messages (MM_MSG_ONE_to_XI_PROXY). And then - error in message mapping.
I try many URLs for both messages:
    1) http://host:port/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:BS_TEST:cc_SOAP_R1&version=3.0&Sender.Service=&Interface=
    2) http://host:port/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:BS_TEST:cc_SOAP_R1&version=3.0&Sender.Service=BS_TEST&Interface=*
    3) http://host:port/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:BS_TEST:cc_SOAP_R1&version=3.0&Sender.Service=BS_TEST&Interface=...MyNameSpace...mi_so_MSG_TWO
    Message in payload:

    <!--  Inbound Message   -->
    <MSG_TWO xmlns="urn:xxx:yyy:MyNameSpace" xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">... some fields... </MSG_TWO>
But in SOAP Header I see that is NOT second message!

Is it correct that many kinds of messages cannot goes through one Sender Channel ? If not... How can I reuse one SOAP Sender Channel for both this messages?
    Thanks for helping.

    Thanks for answers!
It means a webservice application will be deployed and exposed in PI using the associated Message Interface and its namespace information in the SOAP Sender channel.
It means only one Sender Channel per one pair of names (name of Message Interface and name of namespace). And it will fail if I change something. And question is: why URL for sending SOAP message contains parameter "Interface"?
"backward compatibility" or "for future use only"?
Nothing happens when I change this parameter, seems that name of Interface comes from first of founded Sender Agreements.
If the structures are the same
    No. Structures are different.
Making one structure per all SOAP incoming messages looks workable, but... looks strange (in fact I have a lot of SOAP messages, more than 100 Sender channels).
I found an information, that I can use one Sender channel per many messages with different structures only if I make this messages like different Operations in one Service Interface (in PI 7.1).
But in this case in list of messages in SXMB_MONI I will see only a one name of Service Interface for all my messages and it's not so comfortably for supporting: to take a name of operation that fails I need to goes inside.
In older version of XI (prior 7.1) using one sender channel per many messages allowed without any hints.

  • Different email sender for each workflow

    Hi all,
The company i am working for already got some workflows and i am creating more for them. The problem is same users will be getting email from different workflows with almost similar subject text ( the option to have different subject text is being considered). We need to distinguish between the email sent from different workflows in order to help users identify the workflow. Is it possible to have different sender for different workflow send mail tasks
    HR-WF-PA for PA workflows.
    HR-WF-PD for Hr workflows.
MM-wf for MM workflows. same for MM many WF's
FI-wf for FI workflows. same goes here..
    etc..
It's kind of hard for users to go through each mail and see if its relevant for them or not.
If i can have different sender for each workflow they can easily distinguish.
    any suggestions?
    thanks
    sas

    Hello SasPas,
you'll need to implement the following steps:
    - Subtype business object SELFITEM
    - Overwrite method SendTaskDescription
    - Copy/Paste the standard coding into the new method's coding section
    - On the spot, where the work item ID is read, navigate to the FlowItem with the given work item ID.
    - Read from a custom made table, where you assigned Flow-Item WS9xxxxx to sender names (actual user names in SAP)
    - Create user names for each eMail address, you'll need and maintain their email address in SU01
    - Replace the call to function module SWW_SRV_MAIL_SEND with a new call to SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 that offers the import parameter SENDER_ADDRESS. There you'll put the user name in. The document transposition to call the new function module might be a little tricky. Please try.
-> The workflows that now make use of the standard send mail function, i.e. using SELFITEM.SendTaskDescription now have a new sender's eMail address. There's no need to change the workflow pattern, if you make a SYSTEM WIDE DELEGATION in transaction SWO1 from SelfItem to your subtypes business object type.
    Best wishes,
    Florin

  • Cannot send email links from Safari share button in iOS8

    Hi All:
This is a new one for, and not something I have experienced since link sharing was introduced. I am running iOS 8.1.1 on my iPhone 6. When I find a web page I want to share in Safari, I tap the Share icon, and the share sheet comes up. I select Mail, and a pre-populated email sheet appears. I can type text in the Message or Subject fields, but if I try to select a different sender address or enter a recipient address, the email message simply disappears. it's not in Mail trash or Drafts. It's just gone. This does not happen with my iPad mini 3 at all. Also does not happen on any of my family members' phones.
Obviously, I can Select,Copy,Paste the link into a manual email message. But sharing a link via email does not work in my phone. Any ideas besides a restore?
    TIA!

In Mail, select Mail > Preferences > General > Default email reader: Mail 5.2

  • Mail 4.1 incorrect "sending from" settings, won't send SMTP mail

I've noted quite a few others reporting 10.6.1 SMTP mail problems, but I haven't seen my specific issue noted elsewhere.
I've been able to send using my IMAP AOL address via Mail and longtime SMTP settings until today. Now, Mail apparently is scrambling outgoing email addresses and mismatching them with the outgoing SMTP settings. For instance:
Using AOL address example [email protected] (showing correctly in the "From" window), the email will not send. The "cannot sent message using the server 'LG'..." dialogue comes up with the options to edit the SMTP server list or use the Connection Doctor. (All Connection Doctor reports coming back green, so the trouble's not there.)
Looking a little closer at the dialogue box, though, it says Mail thinks the outgoing message is being sent from an entirely separate email address. In a couple of tests, the incorrect "sending from" address changes - one time it was a different AOL account, the next was an entirely separate .edu account. Wish I could attach a screenshot, but the bottomline is: I can see the "From" field showing the [email protected] address, but the error message about reconciling the outgoing server settings shows "Sending from: My Name <[email protected]>"
Whatever the issue is, it is apparently not affecting (so far) my IMAP personal domain or IMAP gmail accounts - they're both sending and receiving normally.
So Mail apparently is trying to send AOL account mail, but it's not finding the correct SMTP connection because somewhere along the way it's shifted the "sending from" to a different account.
    Any thoughts?

I've been using Mail app with AOL accounts and the current settings for years with no trouble. This is new.
I still think it's a Mail app issue - it's clearly showing in the error message a different "Sending from" account from the one that's actually selected and showing in the "From" window of the email message. It's as though Mail is trying to apply the existing SMTP settings for an erroneous account to the outgoing message. It's either trying to send [email protected] mail with YY.aol.com SMTP settings or vice versa.
I'd be open to re-creating the AOL IMPAP accounts if I could avoid losing years worth of sent and received messages. I have everything backed up with Time Machine, but I've had very erratic email recovery issues with it since Snow Leopard too.
