Lookup a queue in a different WebLogic server in the same domain

I have 2 WLServer in the same domain. Each WLServer has different purposes. In the first one i have a queue configurated, so i have a mdb that send a message to this queue.
In the second one WLServer i have another MDB that i would like to subscribe in the queue in the first one but seems that i could not do it. I configured the mdb to get the message and try lookup for the JNDI name from the other server, but when i try to execute a redeploy it seems that the mdb can not be alive.
Should i create a foreign server in this case?

You should be able to turn on Automatic Downloads under iTunes > Preferences > Store and it should automatically get a copy of anything you buy.
If you only want stream it and have it show as an iTunes in the Cloud item make sure that is checked on the Preferences > Store

Security Error in the same domain

Hi all
I've been trying to access servlets from within my flex
application on a different server, but on the same domain.
The domains are something like:
http://server-1.domain.test.co.uk
- Flex Application
http://server-2.domain.test.co.uk
- Java Servlets
They are both deployed on Tomcat 5 servers, on separate
machines.
i.e. If I try to call
http://server-2.domain.test.co.uk/Servlet?param1=test
from within Flex under
http://server-1.domain.test.co.uk
I will get an RPC Security Error.
If the addresses are typed directly into the browser there
are no communication issues.
I have run with similar configurations in the past and not
had this problem. I've deployed crossdomain files (although I
shouldn't need them) and it has not made any difference.
I do not want to use a proxy if I can help it, and I am NOT
using dataservices.
If anyone has any ideas let me know, cheers.

I have different domains in different folders. why it opens the same domain always?

this is crazy. I have different folder for the domais and avery time I want to open one of them, it opens always the same domain. After I upgraded to OS X 10.8.2 I do not know... did they change the way iWeb works?

Just launch the application, find and select the domain file in your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder that you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.
WARNING: iWeb Switch Domain will overwrite an existing Domain.sites2 file if you select to create a new domain in the same folder. So rename your domain files once they've been created to something other than the default name.

Two CAS Servers on the same domain but different AD Sites

I have a customer that has 1 EXCH MB server & 1 EXCH server running the Hub Transport and Client Access roles. These two servers are in the same domain and reside in AD site A. Now he wants AD Site B (also in the same domain) to have 1 EXCH MB server
& 1 EXCH server running the HUB/CAS role. The problem is the CAS role in site A is the only one that is public interfacing. The CAS server in site B has not certificates at all, and I want all the mail to re-route to the CAS server in Site A. Does anyone
know how I can do that???

The CAS in the internet facing site will proxy to the CAS in the non-internet facing site. And you do have a cert on that CAS in Site B. The default built-in one. However, if you have clients in Site B, you should replace that built-in cert with one that
is trusted by clients such as Outlook and Lync etc...It doesnt have to be a 3rd party cert, it could be on that is trusted internally.

If I have vlans on switches named differently and they join the same VTP domain what happens?

I have a switch that has vlan 10 as accounting and the other switch has it Accounting. What happens when they join the same domain? Do they keep their respective names?

What are the VTP mode of both switches?
If they are both Server then the one with the HIGHEST revision number will copy the VTP database TO the other unit.

How can you set up your iphone 4s to show 2 seperate email address but that are on the same domain

I have 2 email address linked to me on Outlook. one is a personal one for me and one is a group email address but both on the same domain.
I have my own inbox set up on my iphone and i have tried to set up the group email address on my iphone, but because the credentials are the same, it is only bringing through my emails and not the one for the seperate email address - is there a way round this?

What do you mean "the credentials are the same"? The part of the email address before the @ should be different. If not then you do not have two different email addresses.
Just go into the mail settings and choose add account. Enter the info for the second account. It won't matter that your incoming and outgoing smtp server are the same. If it did how could millions of people all use Yahoo or Google?
If what you really have is one email account with a rule set to send specific emails to another folder, someone else will have to help you.

Yes you can have 2 Da deployments in one domain.
I have done this a number of times for customer when upgrading from UAG DA to 2012.
Make sure you use different Group policies for the DA servers and Clients. make sure you target the client with only one GPO at a time. Also use different AD groups.
You then change the GPO assignment to the clients and they will flip when the client does a gp update. I have done this for a site that had over 5000 clients and we didn't have one call about it.
You can use DirectAccess Offline Domain Join for any broken machines.

I am trying to Install Exchange on my Lab, getting below error
message.
The Schema Role is installed on Root Domain and trying to install
exchange on Child domain.
1 Root Domain - 1 Child domain. both are located on single site.

Hi Srinivasa,
I guess, you didn't completed the initial setup schemaprep and adprep before starting the installation. You can do it as follows:
1. Open command Prompt as administrator and browse to the root of installation cd and run Setup.exe /PrepareSchema /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms
After finishing this,
2. Setup.exe /PrepareAD /OrganizationName:"<organization name>" /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms
3. To prepare all domains within the forest run Setup.exe /PrepareAllDomains /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms. If you want to prepare a specific domain run Setup.exe /PrepareDomain:<FQDN of the domain you want to prepare> /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms
4. Once you complete all of the 3 steps, install the pre-requisities for Exchange 2013
5. Finally, run the setup program

SocketPermission error in applet when accessing the same domain

Hello, my applet downloads the contents of an URI from the same domain, using a relative URI. This should be AFAIK an unprivileged operation and should be always allowed, even for unsigned applets, such as mine.
(In contrast to accessing URIs from a different domain, which requires the applet to be signed or self-signed & confirmed).
Indeed, the applet works perfectly under Windows, both with MSIE+Microsoft JVM, MSIE+Sun JVM and SeaMonkey+Sun JVM and Opera+Sun JVM.
In contrast, under my Gentoo Linux, in SeaMonkey+Sun JVM this doesn't work. Under both Windows & Linux the Sun JVM version is 1.6.0, SeaMonkey version 1.1.7, Java plugin "Java(TM) Plug-in 1.6.0_03-b05". - Everything is emerged from the current stable Portage tree (ebuilds www-client/seamonkey [1.1.7], virtual/jre, dev-java/sun-jdk [1.6.0.03], plus I created a symlink 'libjavaplugin_oji.so' in directory '/usr/lib/seamonkey/plugins' pointing to '/usr/lib/jvm/sun-jdk-1.6/jre/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so'
I have made no changes to my java.policy file. [Yet it seems that such rule as "allow URI access in the same domain" cannot be expressed in this file's language]
The error message I get is exactly what I would get have I tried to access an URI from a different domain. [See below].
Googling as well as searching Sun's forums failed to give an answer. Has anyone have had similar problems? Is it more likely to be just a configuration/Gentoo problem, a more general problem, or perhaps the problem is just between the monitor and the keyboard?

I believe the problem you are facing is bcause you must use the original user ID you provisioned with your Xfinity Home account. Unfortunately, we only support a single user ID per account on the mobile applications today. We do plan to change this in the future.

That's your issue!
Since you're attempting to use Windows Authentication you'll need to start the SSMS process under the domain credentials of the domain account that has access to that SQL Server. Otherwise windows is going to send you local user token which is going to quickly
be rejected as your local computer user account is not the correct domain account.
You can do this by either using shift+right-click run as different user or from the command line using RunAs /user.
In either case, if you want to use Windows Authentication you'll need to run the SSMS process as that domain user so that you can pass a valid security token.
Edit:
I read that backwards... If it's not on any domain (or member of a workgroup) you'll have a really hard time in using windows authentication as you're limited to LOCAL users on that machine. Thus you could really only use windows auth if you were logged
in locally on that server. I'd either setup a SQL Login for this or join it to a domain.

What I'm suggesting is to make the entry so that they <b>are</b> in the same domain...
so, instead of XXXXX, put a value which is your portal hostname plus the domain of the backend system.
For example, if your portal is portalxxx, then make it
23.23.12.12 portalx.qqq.com
They are now effectively in the same domain... When you access your portal as http://portalx.qqq.com, you will get the SSO cookie for qqq.com.
If they really need to be in different domains, then search the forum for "domain relax". There were posts here in the last 48 hours that covered this.

Problem with SQL*Loader and different date formats in the same file

I'm using SQL*Loader to import semi-colon separated values into a table. The files are delivered to us by a data provider who concatenates data from different sources and this results in us having different date formats within the same file. For example:
...;2010-12-31;22/11/1932;...
I load this data using the following lines in the control file:
EXECUTIONDATE1 TIMESTAMP NULLIF EXECUTIONDATE1=BLANKS "TO_DATE(:EXECUTIONDATE1, 'YYYY-MM-DD')",
DELDOB TIMESTAMP NULLIF DELDOB=BLANKS "TO_DATE(:DELDOB, 'DD/MM/YYYY')",
The relevant NLS parameters:
NLS_LANGUAGE=FRENCH
NLS_DATE_FORMAT=DD/MM/RR
NLS_DATE_LANGUAGE=FRENCH
If I load this file as is the values loaded into the table are 31 dec 2010 and 22 nov *2032*, aven though the years are on 4 digits. If I change the NLS_DATE_FORMAT to DD/MM/YYYY then the second date value will be loaded correctly, but the first value will be loaded as 31 dec *2020* !!
How can I get both date values to load correctly?

This is very strange, after running a few tests I realized that if the year is 19XX then it will get loaded as 2019, and if it is 20XX then it will be 2020. I'm guessing it may have something to do with certain env variables that aren't set up properly because I'm fairly sure my SQL*Loader control file is correct... I'll run more tests :-(
