Different Structure in 6.0 ?????

I was very familiar with the old structure of /$WL_HOME/$PROJECT for
single instances of WebLogic and /$WL_HOME/$PROJECT_CLUSTER/$SERVER for
clusters, with each dir having a different weblogic.properties file.
WebLogic Server 6.0 uses the terms domain, server, cluster and
machine...what do these equate to in relation to the old layout?
Here are my assumptions:
Domain = group of similar servers or clusters (privatedomain and
publicdomain). No real significance, just for organization.
Server = same as before
Cluster = same as before
Machine = beats me
Since the server don't get it's IP from the machine listing, why define
a machine for that server?

Hello.
I think I am not 100% understand the business scenario, is it a classic or extended classic scenario?
From MM point of view , GR is not possible  if the confirmation control key is asking for a inbound delivery .  This is
customizable in the customizing.
The confirmation control key could be determined from inforecord or entered manually.
From SRM point of view , if it is extended classic scenario , please check the PO related document tab, if the shipping notification is on. This flag is from supplier master.
If you wants to change the flag when SRM PO is transfered to MM , please consider BADI  .BBP_ECS_PO_OUT_BADI

  • How can i map a file with different structures to several deep structures?

    Hey experts,
    here is my situation. I have to build a file2file scenario. The file has a flat structure without any separators. Depending on the value of the keyfield, i have to determinate, which kind of structure in the current sequence there is. Like i wrote, there isn't any fieldseparator, but for every possible structure (overall 4 types) i know the type by the length of every field in the structure.
    My task is:
    1. Read the file into PI and transform to XML
    2. Map the flat structure depending on the keyvalue to the deep structure
    3. Transform several fields in the different structures like the requirement
    4. Write back the file via FTP as the same flat structure as before
    Do you have any approach to solve the item number 2 (the other steps are clear for me)?
    Do i need several mapping-programs? If so, how can i determinate the right mapping-program, deping on the keyvalue?
    Thanks in advance
    Tobi

  • Display 2 different structured internal tables in single screen using ALV

    Hi,
    I have two internal tables. Both has different structures. My requirement is to display both the internal tables in single screen using ALV Grid but NOT using OO ALV Grid display.
    Is there any way of spliting the Final ALV display screen into two with two different headers and details as shown below.
    Header1 for internal table 1
    Data of internal table 1
    Header1 for internal table 2
    Data of internal table 2
    Can anyone suggest a better way to display this.
    Regards,
    Senthil

    hi
    first think i can say ALV GRID means only for OO ALV it is not possible to display two I.T. data in singr report screen.
    better to use of the fm: REUSE_ALV_BLOCK_LIST_DISPLAY
    so that u can display both I.T. data in separate report list under single screen
    Check the example programs:
    BALVBT01 Testprogram ALV: Block list
    BCALV_TEST_BLOCK_LIST Program BCALV_TEST_BLOCK_LIST

  • Comparing Data between two tables with different structure

    Hi,
    I have 2 tables T1 and T2. Both tables have different structure. I have to check for rows missing in T1 which exist in T2 and vice-versa. I can do that using MINUS operator. But the part where the data exists in both T1 and T2, I have to compare some columns (9 columns the names of this column coming from a meta-data table) if they have same values. If not an exception has to be generated.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Whenever you need help on this forum, post:
    (1) The version of Oracle (and any other relevant software) you're using
    (2) A little sample data (just enough to show what the problem is) from all the relevant tables
    (3) The results you want from that data (4) Your best attempt so far
    Executable SQL statements (like "CREATE TABLE AS ..." or "INSERT ..." statements) are best for (2).
    Formatted tabular output is okay for (3). Type before and after the tabular text, to preserve spacing.
    What do you mean by "an exception has to be generated"?
    Do you want to raise an error?
    Do you want something to appear in the result set?
    MINUS finds rows that are in one result set, but not in another.
    INTERSECT finds rows that are in both result sets.
    Column names have to be hard-coded into the SQL statement.  If you want to write something now that will get column names from a metadata table sometime in the future, then you have to use dynamic SQL.  SQL*Plus sometimes has quick and dirty ways of doing dynamic SQL, so say whether you're using SQL*Plus or not.

  • Performance between two partitionned tables with different structure

    Hi,
    I would like if there is a difference between two partitionned tables with different structure in term of performance (access, query, insertions, updates ).
    I explain myself in detail :
    I have a table that stores one value every 10 minutes in a day (so we have 144 values (24*6) in the whole day), with the corresponding id.
    Here is the structure :
    | Table T1 |
    + id PK |
    + date PK |
    + sample1 |
    + sample2 |
    + ... |
    + sample144 |
    The table is partionned on the column date, with a partionned every months. The primary key is based on the columns (id, date).
    There is an additionnal index on the column (id) (is it useful ?).
    I would like to know if it is better to have a table with just (id, date, value) , so for one row in the first table we'll have 144 rows in the future? table. The partition will already be on the columns (id, date) with the index associated.
    What are the gains or loss in performance with this new structure ( access, DMLs , storage ) ?
    I discuss with the Java developers and they say it is simpler to manage in their code.
    Oracle version : Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production

    I mean storage in tablespaces and datafiles on disk.
    Can you justify please and give me concrete arguments why the two structures are equivalent ( except inserting data in T(id, date,value))
    because i have to make a report.i didnt say any thing like
    two structures are equivalent ( except inserting data in T(id, date,value)i said
    About structure : TABLE1(id, date, value) is better than TABLE1(id, date, sample1, .... sample144)because
    1) oracle has restriction for numbers of column. Ok you can have 144 columns now but for future if you must have more than 1000 columns , what will you do?
    2) Restrictions on Table Compression (Table compression is not supported for tables with more than 255 columns.)
    3) store same type values on diffrent columns is bad practise

  • Difference between the different structures while dealing with User-Exits

    While dealing with User-Exits, we come across the different structures/Tables like XVBAP,YVBAP,TVBAP,IVBAP,*VBAP....
    What is the difference between them ?

    Usually X<tablename> and Y<tablename> are used in change document management to determine records updated (Y is old values and X new ones).  (Look at transaction SCDO)
    T<tablename is an internal table read from database and I<tablename> is an import table parameter of the same structure. <tablename> is an equivalent of <tablename> declared with statement TABLES and contains usually the "old" value.
    Look at exit documentation. start at [User Exits In Sales Document Processing|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/1c/f62c7dd435d1118b3f0060b03ca329/content.htm]

  • Can we assign 1 flat file to 2 different structures in LSMW.

    Hi all,
      Can we assign 1 flat file to 2 different structures in LSMW.
    Please help.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Amruta.

    Hi,
    of course you can assign a flat file to as many LSMW structures you want.. If one structure is subordinate to the other, then all fields of your flat file are available to assign to any field in the structures.
    For example, you want to create/change vendor company code data via standard upload program. There are structures BLFB1 for company code data and also BLFBW for vendor withholding tax. If your file is a flat file and contains a record for each vendor and say, up to three withholding tax types, you can assign your structure to both BLFB1 & BLFBW. You have to enter code in BLBW, though to transfer up to 3 BLBW records

  • Sending itab with different structure in form-perfomr

    Hello,
    I have a
    perform generate_master tables itab1.
    perform generate_master tables itab1.
    form generate_master tables itab structure ?.
    loop at itab into wa_itab.
    lv_werks = wa_itab-werks.
    endloop.
    endform.
    here the structure for wa_ will be different.
    Can anyone help me with this.
    Alternate solutions are welcome.
    Regards
    Renu

    Hi Renu,
    if you want to process tables of different structures in the form, you can
    - pass the structure name
    FORM generate_master
      changing itab type table
      using    strucname type tabname.
    field-symbols:
      <rec1> type strucname1,
      <rec2> type strucname2.
      case strucname.
        when 'STRUCNAME1'.
        loop at itab assigning <rec1>.
          write: / <rec1>-field1.
        endloop.
        when 'STRUCNAME2'.
        loop at itab assigning <rec2>.
          write: / <rec2>-field2.
        endloop.
      endcase.
    endform.
    - try to find you fields and decide on success for this
    FORM generate_master
      changing itab type table.
    field-symbols:
      <rec> type any,
      <fld> type any,
      loop at itab assigning <rec>.
        assign component 'FIELD1' of structure  <rec> to <fld>.
        if sy-subrc = 0.
          write: / <fld>.
        endif.
        assign component 'FIELD2' of structure  <rec> to <fld>.
        if sy-subrc = 0.
          write: / <fld>.
        endif,
      endloop.
    endform.
    And then use
    PERFORM CHANGING itab[].
    Note:
    LOOP AT itab ASSIGNING <field-symbol>.
    is never slower, in most cases much faster than
    LOOP AT itab INTO wa.
    And you can never forget the MODIFY statement because you work with the table record directly.

  • Merging Different structures during Mapping

    Hi Gurus,
      I've the following scenario. I've got 2 files with 2 different structures
      File 1 ->  <ID>
                        <NAME>
      File 2 ->  <NUM>
                        <DATE>
      I need to perform a mapping to a structure as follows
                    <NEW STRUCT>
                        <ID>
                            <NAME>
                        <NUM>
                             <DATE>
       Can this be during in the mapping?
       Do I need to perform 2 message mappings? i.e, one for File 1 structure and another for File 2 structure?
       Hope my query is clear.

  • Importing multiple csv's (different structures) to destination table

    I am using a data flow task with flat file source and ole db destination and looping thru a folder to import multiple csv files into a destination table. What if I wanted to import different csv files, for example, with different structures or layout.
    The different csv's would have the same columns for destination table  but in different order/name. How do u map each one to the destination table? Multiple data flow tasks or multi flat file sources?

    The standard Data Flow Task supports only static columns metadata defined at design time. I would recommend you check the commercial COZYROC
    Data Flow Task Plus. It is an extension of the standard Data Flow Task, which supports dynamic columns metadata. You can handle all your input flat files using single
    Data Flow Task Plus.  No programming skills are required.

    Hi
    max number of strucutres is two  one  at the row and another in  coloumn
    generally structures are reusable components.
    select the coloumn >right click>select the structures
    here you can assign the structures in the coloumn
    If it is useful please need to assign some points

    Hi,
    Create 1 custom controllers for each Model.
    1.Cust COntroller1:
            Node one.
            ->Attr1(type:String)
            ->Attr2(type:long)
    2.Cust COntroller2
            Node one.
            ->Attr1(type:String)
            ->Attr2(type:long)
    Through the component controller only u can send the data by mapping.
    In component controller:
      Node one.
            ->Attr1(type:String)
            ->Attr2(type:long)
    Step1:Map the elements from custControler1.
    Before mapping make sure that u have data in CustController Context=>value node.
    (Note:cust controler node s model node means copy the elements to value node using copyservice)

  • Move values of one field symbol to other field symbol of different structur

    Hi all,
    i need to move values of one field symbol to other field symbol of different structure.
    I need to perform operations like MOVE-CORRESPONDING on two field symbols of different structure.
    How can i achieve this?
    field symbol 1 have 2 field and field symbol2 have 4 fields....
    Best Regards,
    Vijay.

    Hi,
    You can use -
    MOVE-CORRESPONDING <struct1> to <struc2>.
    In this case it will move the contents of the components from struct1 to struct2 that has identical names.
    You can refer this link also-

  • Pass the internal table with different structures to the class module

    Hi ,
    I have created a class method to fill up the data in XML format. the method can be called from various programs with internal table with different structures. I want to pass it as dynamic How can I do that.
    I tried to declare that as type any.
    but not working.
    regards,
    Madhuri

    Hi,
    You could work with data reference.
    Use GET REFERENCE OF itab INTO data_ref for passing the internal table to your method, and dereference it within the method with ASSIGN statement...
    DATA: lr_data TYPE REF TO data.
    GET REFERENCE OF itab INTO lr_data.
    CALL METHOD meth EXPORTING pr_data = lr_data.
    METHOD meth.
      FIELD-SYMBOLS <fs> TYPE ANY TABLE
      ASSIGN pr_data->* TO <fs>.
    ENDMETHOD.
    Kr,
    Manu.
