DIFFERENT type of mms problem (receivers can't view)

Hey all, I have a different mms problem after updating my 3GS to ios 4...
Seems I can send mms and videos just fine, however the end receiver just sees a still image and hears the audio. I've done a lot of tests with this, and my wife's 3GS does the same thing. But it only started happening when she updated to ios 4 ( on different AT&T plans and updated at different times) her 3GS is only a month old.
I've somewhat pinpointed this directly to ios 4, as any video I have shot with it will do this, but only if it is to someone without an iPhone, or with and iPhone but not running ios 4
It seems kind of sporadic as well. I think it has to do with the way each app handles mms out. If I'm in a text message and hit the camera icon and create a new video right there on the spot, Things seem to go fine. But if I've already taken a video and its in my camera roll. And I choose to send that, #1 it doesn't seem to warn me about length that much anymore, and will just try to send the vid as is. #2 it doesn't do any sort of preparation with the vid, just pops it into the message and allows me to send.
I've restored, restored to new device, redownloaded ios 4, reset my network settings, and done pretty much everything people have suggested for other mms problems. Nothing seems to help. And yes. Mms is turned on in my settings and subject field is turned off along with group mms and character count.
What it seems like to me, is that ios 4 doesn't have the same trim length or compression algorithms for mms as os 3.1.3 had. My friend who hasn't updated yet can send vids to my receiver just fine. It seems like the default maximum mms video length might be too long on the 3GS, and I end up sending videos that are unplayable to anyone but ios 4 users.
Can anyone help, or has anyone else had this issue? Should I be calling Apple or AT&T about this?

A different type of iPod problem

So, I plug in my 1g 5gb iPod and it is recognized by windows and iTunes. iTunes even shows the one song that I have on there. I was able to put that one song on there but every time I try to add another song, the transfer process gets to about 98% than iTunes hangs for about 10 seconds. Then the iPod disappears from iTunes and this window pops up saying "Hardware Found" and wants me to locate the drivers for it. I tried it on a buddy's laptop using my own PCMCIA card and it worked fine.

Ok, so I figured out my problem and now it works wonderfully.
I'm connecting through a pcmcia firewire card through my laptop, which is 2.5 years old now. I decided to try a few other laptops. My school required you to buy a laptop your freshman year, so all the freshman have the same laptop, all of the sophmores have the same laptop, and so on. I have a junior laptop (because I'm a junior, see how it works?). Anyway, I tried it on another junior laptop and had the same problem. I then tried it on a sophmore laptop and a freshman laptop and both worked the first time without a single hitch.
So I found out that it wasn't the iPod, my pcmcia card, or the drivers on my laptop. It was the actual port that the pcmcia card plugs into. The other laptops are different models and have different pcmcia adapters. So now I know what ever I do, it won't work for my laptop. I had to use one of our pledge's laptops to put all of my songs on. Now I'm looking for an external adapter or some sort of hub that I can plug firewire into which in turn plugs into my laptop via USB. Hope this helps.

This seems doable with nxsd. In our case, each row seems to be a different type of record and you can handle this case using a sequence of elements (one for each record type).

How can I get the program to recognize two different types of thermocouples?

I am using a PCI-4351 card with a TBX-68T terminal block. I was having trouble writing and finding a program that would give me more than one reading/sec. I found a program on the NI website called "435x_logger_triggering", and so far it is the only program that I have found that will actually collect data at 60 Hz. Unfortunately, this program only lets you specify one mode for your thermocouples. This is a problem because we are using two thermocouples, one is type K and the other is a type R, so we get bad readings from one of the thermocouples depending on which mode it is set on. I would like to know how I can program in a seperate mode for each channel in this program. Un
fortunately, some of the sub VI's in this program are password protected, so I don't know if this is possible. Everything is entered correctly in the Measurement and Automation explorer, so that isn't the problem. I will attach a copy of the program that I am using. I have modified it slightly from the one I got off the NI website, so that the thermocouple readings have a time stamp and are saved to disk. Any assistance you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

You should be able to sample two different thermocouples in the example that ships with the 435x driver called "Getting Started with multiple tranducers Continous". Simply put each type of thermocouple in a different index . Each index of the Transducer Group Array can have a different type and specify the channels that correspond to that type.
One way that you can speed this VI up is to place a wait inside of the while loop. This will reduce the number of times the software polls the card if it has available data(increasing the overhead). I would suggest about 500 ms. The data that you receive will all have the same delta t because the sampling clock is hardware driven not software, so it does matter when the data is polled.
You will not be
able to get 60 samples per second when you are measuring multiple channels anyway. The sample rate for multiple channels is about 9/(# channels). This is explained in the 435x Users Manual.
I looked at your code and noticed that you tried to change some of the enumeration controls. Unfortunately you will not be able to change these because they are password protected on the low level subVIs, which is where they are defined.
The way you select if you want the notch filter is in the 435x Config you specify fast or slow. If it is slow then it will select 10Hz as the nitch filter. If you select fast the it will select either 50 or 60Hz You would then use the function "435x Set power line frequency"

Thanks for that 'sberman' - because my iPhone is backed-up to my work computer (only at this stage) I have had to call our IT Department in Adleaide. (4 times this morning). The last guy managed to get the phone into 'DFU Mode' - no more recovery mode screen - (kind of 'asleep' perhaps) from my understanding of same. I am awaiting a call again from IT so they can get my computer to actually recognise my iPhone on the C Drive. This also happened to one of my colleagues in Newman (WA). She got so frustrated with the whole process that she bought another phone the next time she was in 'civilisation.' She hasn't had any problems since. (Cross fingers).

Yes, in fact some people will apply the snapshot when they are in the office and then change the parameters on their merge agent to do web synchronizations from then on.

Problems working with different types of aggregation in two facts table

Hello every Body!! Greetings from Brazil..
At fisrt I'd like to say that I've tried to find some thead with the same problem, but I've foud no answere. That is why I'm typing this new post.
Here we go ...
I've a Fact table with one metric and two degenerate dimensions..
For exemple:
Invoice_number
Puschase_Date
Purchase_Value$
When I model it at Business Model Mapping, I used the Aggregation's type below:
Invoice_number - None
Puschase_Date - None
Purchase_Value - Sum
So far it works fine at Answeres area.. Since I use only values from this Fact..
But... if I try to join values from two different Facts Table (both of them sharing the same Dimensions) and the Second Fact has an aggregated value, it does'nt work... I get 'null' as values (metrics) of the second Fact Table...
I think that it is caused because I'm working whith different types of aggregation, but I don't know the solution.
By the wat, the second Fact I've told has only one metric, aggregated whith 'SUM'.
Is there a solution? Any hint?

Following the standard order of operations, 3.0/4.0 will result in a double, then 2 will be converted to a double before being multiplied to the result, then 7 is converted to a double before being added to the result, and then the (int) cast will force a conversion

1. Can any one help me out in getting 2 different types of SPC charts for a single MIC in an insp. plan. As each MIC can take only one Sampling Procedure and as SPC chart type is assigned to Sampling Procedure I am not able to get 2 different types of charts. Is it possible in SAP if so can you let me know how.
2. Can we plot SPC charts of 2 different MICs of same chart type on single graph via SAP? I tried QGC3 but was not successful.

YES,
You can get two different SPC characteristics.
May be a crude method, but definite solution.
1. You create one characteristic say '0010' with control indicators suitable for SPC characteristics. Assign sampling procedure to this characteristic with chart type say '175 Shewhart chart for np/USA'
2. Now create another sampling procedure with chart type say '520 Moving Average Chart'
3. Now select characteristic line '0010' in the plan.
4. Click copy characteristic & press enter. The characteristic gets copied with same control indicators.
5. For this new characteristic '0020' set 'Calculated characteristic'
6. In formula field enter formula as A00020*1. (where A0 is Measured value for single unit.
7. Now assign the new sampling procedure to this characteristic.
8. Done... Now when you record the results for characteristic '0010', after valuating press 'EVALUATE FORMULA' button... & the same results of '0010' are copied for characteristic '0020'
Thus you have two SPC charts for same results without re-entering it.
