Different user information: Console One Vs. GroupWise Client

Hi!
I changed user properties on ConsoleOne, but when typing username in
GroupWise Client it shows the older information.
I have synchronized user, po and domain a couple of times but didn't work.
I have disassociated gwuser from nds and associated again but didn't work
too.
How can I force that update?
This user is on a secondary domain.

I did that. It's very fast.
Id didn't solved the problem. I did that on the PO and DOMAIN of user
(secondary) and on mine PO and DOMAIN (primary).
Any other IDEA?
May I do a Top Down Rebuild?

No you do not need separate Apple ID's in order to use 3 devices with one Apple ID. I use 4 devices to Message and FaceTime and all use the same Apple ID. You do need to add additional email addresses for the other devices.

Need Users information since one month or one year

I have cheked with 'ST03' but am getting only one week data of users after that popup message is 'list contains no data'. In our system 'audit security log' is inactive so iam unable to view with SM19. STAT also not giving that much sufficient data.
so how can I get users information means what tcodes they used one (month back ) and logon time every thing .Is there any reports /tables to view the data which is related to users. give your suggestion soon.

Please follow this:
go to st03n
in exper mode-then collector and performance database
then workload collector->under this go to total collector->then go to control and double click
it will show u the view SAP NW Worload collector:maintain the collector parameters
make sure that under week aggr.,month aggr and Gen total all are check in
follow the note 12103 to make sure the job is running fine

Sharing files and iCal events between different users (accounts) on one Mac

Hi,
I have a new iMac with Leopard. I have two accounts on this machine: one for myself and one for my girlfriend. I want to share files with her such as iPhoto events (so I don't have to import photos twice), iCal events (so I don't have to send her an email to synch our calendars), music from iTunes and other files.
Does anyone know how to easily do this? I have tried the drop folder for sharing but it only appears across a network if I am logged in and won't transfer to different users.

thanks, zevoneer. apparently, I gave up too early in my own search. I'm trying it now - the copy process is taking some time. Well, I had hoped to narrow the access down to only one other account but at least this should provide the access that is needed.

Multiple iTunes 8 for 2 different user accounts on one Mac: Possible?

My MacPro has 2 different user accounts on it. Mine and my wife's. I have all of the iTunes music, pod-casts and iPhone Apps set up in iTunes 8 on my user account. The problem is that I want to be able to sync our iPhone 3G which she uses in HER account so that I can sync and save her 3G address Books contacts and calendar events.
I just updated my iPhone's firmware from V2.0 to V2.1 and I backed the phone up in iTunes 8 first. Much to my surprise ALL contact and calendar data was LOST. Am I correct in thinking that the only way of preventing this is by also having this data on my MacPro's iCal and Address Book?
We only use this single iPhone.

Reports from two different users print on one page

Hi, can anyone help?
With Oracle 10g I get the following problem; If two users are running different reports at similar times the user that runs his report second will get his and the previous report on one page, they get combined. The user who ran his report first will get his report correctly.

Thank you for your response. Yes I am using a temp table where I replace variables with paramaters provided by the user. I have rectified the problem by putting in place a check to see if the temp table is in use, if it is a message tells the user to try later. Thank you you were spot on.

Sharing two iTunes Libraries for different user accounts on one Mac

How can I upload or share my wife's iTunes library? She is listed as a different end user on the same Mac as I use but we have different libraries. If I sync my iphone to her account, will it erase my existing applications and downloaded songs? Also, she only uses the iTouch. And yes, I have a mobile me account if that matters. (The $99 package)

How do I copy backed-up files from an external hard drive back to my MBA, but under a different user than the one from which they were backed up?

On the advice of the Chicago Mac Genius Bar, in order to get better performance on my few years old MBA, I copied my Home folders (but not Library) to an external hard drive, created a new user, deleted the old user, and tried to copy the Home folder contents from the external hard drive back to the MBA under the new user. However, I get an error message and can't open most of the folders on the external hard drive (e.g. "The folder “Desktop” can’t be opened because you don’t have permission to see its contents.") Help! Thanks.

As captfred says, yes (as long as the drive is formatted for a Mac, not Windoze).

2 iPhones, 2 different users, multiple computers, ONE itunes library?

I have one big itunes library that stores both my wife's music and my own music and common music.
My wife has her own laptop and her own desktop computer
I have two laptops and one desktop computer
Our itunes library is on my desktop.
Is it possible for her to sync her iphone with her own playlists, music, videos, pictures and for me to have my own separate playlists, music videos and pictures?
If yes, how do I do this because I've searched and read other posts but I am still not clear.

Ssharehare files between different users on the one Mac

How can I share in read/write directories (e.g. documents, pictures. I got an iMac with an SSD and a hard drive. Shared and Public are located in the SSD, which I want to avoid to use.I want shared directories on the hard drive. I also looked at a previous response recommending Sharepoint, which doesn't work either, at it states in the doc that sharing applies only to the directory shared, not including subfolders.

i got arround it by emailing it to my yahoo account and then going into her user area, and accsessing my self sent email from her safari, then chose save attachment to desktop and bingo. But that sure seems like a lot of work to me..
But it has worked.

With XP, with three different user accounts, is it possible to download Firefox 4 to one user and retain Firefox 3 on another, for a learning period?

We are running XP, and have 3 different user accounts on one desktop. We are very excited by the Firefox4 features, but one user has much less comfort with changes, and doesn't want to lose browsing comfort in 3 before he has a chance to get used to using 4. May take a while....
Is there any way to download Firefox 4, perhaps into a new location. Or a new user account. And use this as a 'teaching tool' while still retaining 3?
Or can we upgrade to 4, redownload a version of 3, and import that user's previous bookmarks to the new download of 3, until we get him comfortable.
The answer is probably no. But if there is a creative way to do this, without another computer available, that would be great. If not, we upgrade and deal with the frustration and whining here.... 4 is too good to pass up.

When you install Firefox 4, choose the custom installation option and change the location where Firefox is installed. You will then have 2 versions of Firefox installed.
As you have different user accounts, each user will have their own Firefox profile (location where bookmarks, passwords, etc are stored). You should not switch between different versions of Firefox with the same user profile. For those that want to use Firefox 4, just make sure you use a Firefox shortcut that opens Firefox 4, likewise for the person who wants to stay with Firefox 3, just keep their original Firefox shortcut and it should open the old version.

I am using Oracle 10g Application Server & Oracle 10g Forms & Report services. But I have to pass all the parameters thru a query String. So the problem is all the endusers can view the Database details by taking the properties.
#) I want to set the Database Logon information some where in any confiruration file and this should read when calling forms. so that i can avoid passing of Database user informations. Is there any way to configure like this?
#) Multiple applications are running on Oracle AS and each applications are using defferent schema. How can I set the different User Informations in the configuration file.

As I said, you can edit formsweb.cfg and a user parameter section. For example, lets take yur sample url:
add this section to formsweb.cfg:
[change]
userid=lakmal/mabil@ewis
form=change.fmx
note:
it is better to make the edit at EM console itself.
Then when you will run the form use this url:
http://dunhinda.com/forms90/f90servlet?config=change
The url has been shortened and your username and password is hidden.
and if your user would run diffeent forms, you can drop the form=change.fmx and speficify form name in the url like
section in formsweb.cfg
[lakmal]
userid=lakmal/mabil@ewis
then the url will now be:
http://dunhinda.com/forms90/f90servlet?config=change&form=formname.fmx

Console One Missing the Action Option

I have a new Netware 5.1 SP6 server installed with GW 6.5. Console
1.35
was installed on this server. I noticed that if I run ConsoleOne from
this server, I do not get the Action option so I cannot remote control
to
PCs. How can I install the remote console plug-in for COnsole One for
this server so that I do not have to open different copy of COnsole
One
for GW administration as well as remote control.

User Logged In, Bogus Info in Console One

This is an extension of the "But User IS logged in!" post. I want to elaborate on a few symptoms I'm getting when trying to Remote Control a client's PC.
Review: Using Console One, when I select a user and right-click, the submenu shows "Remote Management". When I click on that I get the famous "1759: The selected user is not logged into any workstation " error.
Here's what I find:
First, when I examine the properties of the allegedly 'not logged in' user, the attribute 'Network Address', under General/Environment, is always empty.
Second, if I look at the Zenworks tab, 'Logged in Workstations' shows multiple entries, noting that the person appears to be logged in to several PCs. But, again, this is bogus information. The person is only logged into one. As for the other PCs listed, that person logged into it or them a long time (a week or even months) ago and has long since logged out.
Here's my questions. 1) How does the attribute 'Network Address' get populated? I don't find it in the registry and a colleague suggested that NDS has, or should have it. Where is it and how does it get into that field?
Next, 2), when the user logs off a PC, shouldn't the entry for that PC in the 'Logged in Workstations' field go away? Or, are their some Persistence parameters in the client that may not be timing out? How does the 'Logged in Workstations' field get cleared?

That's a good clue. We have no middle tier servers. Also, this sounds like a Windows server, we're running NW6.5sp6. I can find xtaddr.dll (mentioned it the TIDs) anywhere, not even on workstations. It must be Windows.
Any more clues?

I Need user and console information on all the printouts.

We have a domain network in this network we have servers,work stations,printers ....all in are in domain network configured through Active Directory .
My question for example one work station (Windows 7 computer added in domain) name abcwks1 .

For tracking, there are third party tools that could do the job (Example: http://www.czsolution.com/print_tracking_server.htm).
