Different views on computer and display

Is it possible to watch a slideshow in presenter view on my laptop while the slide is being presented normally on a projector or display - like you can with Powerpoint?

Alright, so I found one way to solve this problem (if someone else has it at some point). I was able to uninstall lightroom 4 (and delete the files on my computer with lightroom 4 including the catalog) and reinstalled the program. This reset everything and now the picutres are looking properly as they should be.

Master Data - Different Views (Warning message in Display Data)

Hello Experts,
I'd like to know what the difference between Display Data and Maintain Data when I'm querying a Master Data. I'm seeing differences between tha records when I'm using this options.
Other thing, when I'm using Display data, I'm getting the message below:
The data from the InfoProvider ZMATPLANT involved could not be checked
Message no. DBMAN242
Diagnosis
A participating InfoProvider is virtual and aggreement between results and selections cannot be guaranteed.
I already activate the data in the object.

Regarding the message DBMAN242, you may try the SAP Notes #1454581 and #1364083.
About the differences, from what I can understand, in the maintain option, you will be able to edit the records. In the display mode, you won't. It is different when seeing the values because the screen for maintaining the data uses a different program. Therefore, the display is different.
For example, invalid characters are showed as '#' in the "display master data" screen. However, they are not displayed at all in the "maintain master data" screen. Only if you double click the record to open the pop-up screen for the record, you will be able to see the '#'.

IPod Touch 5th Gen will connect to computer and display in iTunes, but will not turn on

I've had my iPod touch 5th gen in a Lifeproof case and was taking some pictures, and lo and behold, the case seal leaked. I got water inside my case and immediately turned my iPod off and placed it in rice. After two weeks of drying in rice in a warm environment, I removed it and decided to try it out again. Much to my chagrin, my iPod would not turn on and could not be placed in recovery mode; I've tried to place it in both recovery and DFU mode, if only for some response, but nothing. It displays no screen image, no error message, nothing. It shows up in iTunes just as normal, with the name, and I can even view the sync menus for the device. However, I cannot access any pictures (my iPod has a passcode that must be entered first, and to enter the passcode I would have to turn the device on, which is so far impossible).
PLEASE HELP. Lifeproof will replace my case but not my device, and I have several weeks of photos, lots of music, and unsynced apps. (I know I should have backed up more recently, but life gets busy and I wasn't anticipating such a problem).

Epub to be created and viewed with computer and ipad

Now that Pages can work with video, we at the school would like to create content to promote the ipad while still being able to view it on a computer ereader. I've tried with Adobe which only handles SWF and with the Firefox add on EPubReader. I'm not sure if it me or if it can be done at all. Has anyone had success? The files read the video perfectly on the iPad but only the text and poster frame on the computer. Suggestion?

Basically it is a "hit or miss" proposition. It all depends on which reader/application is being used. Some don't support embedded audio and/or video files at all. Others may have limited support but only for specific formats. You will likely have to warn users that such content is not supported by all readers. One alternative for wider viewing might be to include hyperlinks to a web page containing the media. However, this too would not be a universal solution as it requires active internet access which may or may not be available to all users.

Different view to develop and library module

Hello everyone, I have a big problem during my workflow, or when working images from the development at the end of the work as the images are like me and very sharp. But when I see in the library module are not sharp and the blacks are very mordibi. Below I post the link to see for yourself.

The problem is that when I export my image is identical to the form LIBRARY and not that beautiful clear form DEVELOPMENT. So I find myself not export images with crisp blacks and dishes.
I already tried to delete the cache, but does not change anything, and I use 1:1 previews, you have no idea how to fix my problem?

Gianlu24, keep in mind that Adobe increased the Sharpening amount from '100' in LR3 to '150' in LR4 when using a high 'Masking' setting. For most normal images and Masking settings you should use a Sharpening amount below '100.' There are two basic types–Capture and Output sharpening, each adjusted using separate controls. UPS Set-up Advice. Distance from computer and display?

I have just purchased the APC BX1500 UPS and wanted some advice on set-up. If is fully charged and ready to go. Is there a recommended safe distance in needs to be away from my Mac Pro. It looks like it needs to be 30cm away from the monitor does that apply to the computer as well? Also any issues with connecting the UPS via the USB to the Mac Pro. Thanks in advance for your advice.

No, as long as the UPS doesn't block airflow around the Mac in some way. And if you have LCD monitors, the distance limitation doesn't apply even to the monitors (the issue is magnetic interference from the transformers in the UPS vs CRT monitors).

RMAUTH-Different behaviour for Change and display mode

Dear friends,
I modified a standard roadmap by copying it and added 1 folder called "X" with normal node and saved.
When i go for display mode in RMAUTH, I am unable to see that folder.If i go to change mode i am able to see the folder "X".
Even in RMMAIN I couldnt see it,But if i go to change-->Scope option i could able to see it & has the tick mark in it.

Hi,
You cannot change any of the field you mentioned in infotype 0001.
You can assign a position using action 0000 through PA40 or by using copy option infotype 0000 in PA30. This will be in edit mode.
Suggested to use PA40 so that all other relevant infotypes can also be updated accordingly.
Rest of the components (Objects Job, Cost Center, Org unit etc) has to be assigned to the respective position in PO13-->Relation ships.
Note: Take care of the dates.

Instantiating a form as different views and merging them at the end of the workflow.

I have a big doubt in implementing one of the crucial part of our workflow design.It goes like this.
1.we have a form which is mainly classified into five types and a total of 16 subforms.
2.the five types in which the form is divided is based on the approver and the type. of requests.
3.different views of the whole same form have to be sent to the five approvers.
4.once the approvers approve the request,a wait point must be present in the workflow,where it will wait for all the views of the form (which are approved) and must merge them into one single pdf form ie., the original form.
so the change in the views of the total form must be reflected in the main form at the end while it is merging.
also all the views of the form are to be merged in to one for the sake of arhiving and rendering it to pdf.
so my questions are..
1.How to add multiple views of the main form (xdp) in the workflow separately as individual xdp templates(based on the five types i mentioned)?
2.How to merge the form views again in to single form or how to make the changes reflect in the main from when changes are made in their views.?

Project Web App (PWA)/Sharepoint 2013: is there any way to display two different views of the Project Center PWA web part to the same user in a site collection?

i want some of my users to see all the projects in the Project Center at my top-level site, and those same users to see only the projects they own at a subsite level in Project Center. that way they could see an 'all project' view on the homepage and only
their projects on their dashboard pages (which also have an instance of Project Center web part on them). i have searched and searched but cannot find a solution to this. is there any way to acheive this functionality? thanks in advance for your assistance!

I have tried this in the past, but was not successful, as far as I can recall. Once you access the project center webpart in one page, the view will be retained regardless where you see it again. (until you apply a different view or clear your browser cache).
May be an easier solution is to display a 'report' on the home page with ALL projects (much easier to do), and use the Project Center webpart for the My projects view as it is easier to achieve via Project Server Security, than a report.

Yes, it's a hassle to zoom every single site manually. You can "zoom" all sites using this add-on: [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2592/ NoSquint]. After setting your Global zoom level, you can still fine-tune the zoom on individual sites.
After installing NoSquint, click the % on the Add-on Bar to call up site preferences, then click the Global Settings button, then the Zooming tab.
If you don't have the Add-on Bar displayed, you can right-click the new tab button ("+") or a blank area of the tab bar to the right of it and choose Add-on Bar from the shortcut menu.
You can experiment with sizes larger than 125%, but I wouldn't go much higher than 150% unless you have a large high-resolution monitor.
If there are particular sites that still present a problem, feel free to post their URLs.

Different views in PA20 (Display Personal Data)

Hi,
in our (IDES) system I have seen that different persons could have a different view in PA20 (Display Personal Data).
For example one have a field 'First name' and a field 'Last name' and another have only one field full name.
Could somebody explain this?

This diferences may be exists because of ID of Country Group of this persons. Check if this persons contains the same MOLGA (Country Group).
In others cases, this diferences was related with de relation of Pers. Area and Subarea at 0001 infotype.

Is it possible to retrieve data from 2 different columns of 2 different tables and display it in the same column of a datablock in a form.
For example:

The column from the datablock in the form should display the following:

You can create a view
select ... from table_a
union
select ... from table_b
and base the block on that.
However, if you want to allow DML on the block it gets more complicated.
