Differentiate between quantity contract and value contract?

Hi,
How can i differentiate between quantity contract and value contract?
The agreement type of contract is  is not MK or WK , its custom created.

N Banu

Hi
In Qty Contract you limit the total quantity of items that  required for you;
It sums the partial quantities of Release Orders with the Contract as a reference.
In a Value contract, you limit the total value of items to be required when
you create Release Orders with the Contract as a reference, that is you
don't work with the quantities as in the first case, but indeed with the
quantities multiplied by the unit price you fixed in the Contract

  • Report for Qty Contract and Value Contract with PO release exceeding limits

    Hi All,
Is there a std report in SAP that the users can use to view Qty and Val Contracts that has exceed in Qty (in case of Qty Contracts) or Val (in case of Val Contracts) ?
    Thanks in advance!

    hi Duke,
If thinking logically, then there is no report for the same..this may be because you enter the qty or value limits in the contract doc itself....So, when you make the PO for the same, and if the qty or value exceeds the system automatically provides the message..stating that the qty or value has exceeded....
So, there is no report for the same...
    Hope it helps...

  • Differentiate between SRM Confirmation and Confirmation Cancellation

We have a requirement to differentiate between SRM confirmation and cancellations.  In POWL both looks same.
    1.  Is there any way we can assign different number ranges for confirmations and cancellations
    2.  Is there any other solution, from the POWL we can differnetiate these two documents
    Thanks

    Hi,
Check in the confirmation POWL status
    1. SRM confirmation posted -- Status - Posted in the Backend

  • Differentiate between oa page and iStore page(jsp)

    Hi,
How to Differentiate between OA page and iStore pages?

If the URL contains the JSP tag as OA.jsp or RF.jsp, then its an OAF application else if you see some custom jsp, eg, jftchrome.jsp etc, then the application is JTT/JTF based application:
    eg:
    OAF application:
    http://sampledomain.oracle.com:5000/OA_HTML/*OA.jsp*?.......
    http://sampledomain.oracle.com:5000/OA_HTML/*OA.jsp*?.......

  • Differentiate between Simple, Medium and Complex Queries.

    Hi Gurus,
I am a Tech. Architect on this new project. I would like to know how to differentiate between Simple, Medium and Complex Queries in BW because I need this info to work on the Estimates. Has this differentiation got anything to do with the Backend config also?
    Thanks in Advance.
    Chandu.

    Hi
You need to understand the requirements and consider the following before you classify........
    1) Queries that are based on multiple key figures--which may result in cell definition.
    2) Queries with complex calculations.
    3) Queries that are based on Variable Exits

  • Difference between using Binding and Value Attribute

what is the deference between using binding and value attribute, when I use binding attribute at the time of Value change listener is behaving like action listener,
    Ex:
If I use value attribute, at the time of value change listener the component is not showing the result in the component but when I use Binding attribute it is happening automatically. So I want to know how the binding attribute is working.
I know, at the time of binding attribute the component is creating an instance at the bean side, So even also how it is following the life cycle of the JSF Frame work, and also Please suggest me weather which one is better to use either Binding or Value?

So I want to know how the binding attribute is working. You need to learn about the JSF lifecycle. The ValueChangeEvent is invoked after conversion and validation in the 3rd phase, while the model values are updated in the 4th phase. In the valueChangeListener method you normally use ValueChangeEvent#getNewValue() to get the new value after the change.

Use the 'binding' attribute to bind the component to the bean. If you don't need to precreate the component or do other things than getting/setting its value, then there is no need for the 'binding' attribute.

  • Difference between Service order and service contract

    Hi
Can any one plz differenciate the service contract and service order??
why only service contract products can carry object list entries and why not service products??
    Thanks in advance.Appriciated with points.
    Regards,
    Nagi Reddy

    Service Order:
A service order is a short-term agreement between service provider and service recipient, in which one-time services are ordered by the service recipient and resource-related billing performed upon completion. Such an order could be, for example, to maintain or repair some equipment, making it necessary to send a technician along with spare parts. These services are usually billed.
    Service Contracts:
Service contracts are outline agreements with business partners which define services offered for a particular period. You support service contracts by processing contract-based and planned services.
Service contracts represent long-term service agreements with customers in relation to the content and scope of services guaranteed within specific tolerance limits for certain parameters, for example, within a predefined timeframe.
    I hope this helps

  • DP90 from service order, and value contract (Resource related billling - DIP Profile)

    Hi all, I've this issue:
I have created a value contract with an only position, dummy service material (DIEN) via VA41. Then, I've created a service orden with IW31, related it with sales document (position 10 of mentioned value contract). I've did confirmations for several opertations from the order (an operation --> an activity type). In a zeta DIP profile I've link activity tipes with anothers DIEN material. This DIP profile is in orden.
I can create sales order with DP90, everything ok! But... value released has not been actualized in value contract...
I found this note, number 1176009, "Value contract FAQs", and say it:
Question: Does the value contract scenario support documents that were
created using resource-related billing (for example, DP90, DP91, DP..)?
Answer: No, this function is not supported in the standard system and
results in update terminations in the statistic.
    Which is the solution?
    Thanks on advance.

Well, I think I find the solution. I did it with BADI BADI_SD_V46H0001, method EXIT_SAPLV46H_001, and this code:
    METHOD if_ex_badi_sd_v46h0001~exit_saplv46h_001.
         c_vbapkom-wktnr = c_vbapkom-vgbel.
         c_vbapkom-wktps = c_vbapkom-vgpos.
    ENDMETHOD.
    I'm testing, but it's working.

  • Difference between service agreement and  service contract

    Hi gurus
please explain the exact difference between service agreements and service contracts

    Hi rajaram,
Service agreement contains only pricing details.
While in case of contracts it contains pricing details, warrenty details & sla details.
Pricing agreement is a subset of contract.

  • CR Reports 2008: Space Between HTML Attribute and Value Causes Attribute To Be Ignored

I have a field in a report with its Text interpretation set to "HTML Text".  When content is rendered in that field that was sourced from a Microsoft Word document, some of the attributes seem to be ignored by Crystal.
For example, I have observed with "style" attributes that if there is a space between the attribute and the value, e.g. "FONT-FAMILY: SimSun" then Crystal will not render the Asian characters, replacing them with squares.  However, if I manually remove the space so that the attribute appears as "FONT-FAMILY:SimSun", then the characters properly render as expected.  I have observed the same issue with at least one other attribute as well, "FONT-SIZE".
This html does render properly in various browsers, so it seems to be an issue with Crystal Reports.  Can you provide me with information about this and if there is a fix for it in subsequent versions.  The version I tested with is 2008 - 12.5.0.1190.
Thanks for any assistance that you can provide.

    hi Ethan,
here are the list of supported html tags in text interpretation...font family is indeed a supported tag.
does the html appear properly in the designer?...you mentioned various browsers and am wondering if you mean the crystal web viewers?
if the issue is in your cr designer, you may wish to patch it to the latest level.
also, ensure that you do not have any unsupported tags in your html that may be causing an issue.

  • To differentiate between normal payment and urgent payment

    Hi All,
I have refered the oss notes 138456, it is very old oss notes and our version is higher. I did know that instruction keys can be used for it. During Automatic Payments F110, would like to differentiate the normal payments and urgent payments.
but do not know what exact configuration is required for it. kindly guide.
    Thanks and Regards
    Reena

    Reena-
In order for you to run your F110 payment runs based on instruction keys follow the process described below:
Maintain instruction key fields in the vendor master data.
In F110 transaction go to the third tab "Free Selection". Under the selection criteria  for field name, drop down and in the next pop up box select "Vendor master record" and click on "Instruction Key". This will populate instruction key in the field name.
Next, enter your instruction key under values. Like if you have configured 01 for urgent and 02 for normal, and if you want to run payment for normal vendors, you can enter 02 here.
By doing this, payment program will look select all the vendors who have instruction key 02.
    Hope this helps.
