Dear SAP Gurus
Differentiate between REAL & STATISTICAL POSTINGS in CO ?

NEHA
The REAL POSTINGS allow you to further allocate settle those costs to any other cost object in CO either as SENDERS or RECEIVERS.Objects allowed to have real postings include :-
Cost centres
Internal Orders
Networks
Projects
Profitability Segments
The STATISTICAL POSTING on the other hand, is only for Information Purpose.Further Settlement/Allocation of these statistical costs to other cost objects is not possible.Such objects are like :-
1.Statistical Orders
2.Statistical Projects
3.Profit Centres

  • STATISTICAL POSTINGS repost between cost centers

    STATISTICAL POSTINGS repost between cost centers.
    I try to repost statistical postings in a cost center with KB11N tr., but I can´t because the original cost center (sender) still have the statistical postings and the receiver cost center will have the reposted amount like real posting intead of statistical posting.
    When I run the KB11N I fill with the cost element (the same), the sender and receiver cost centers and the original order but I can´t repost like statistical posting in the receiver cost center.
    There is another transaction to respost statistical postings between cost centers?

    Hi Ajay,
    This is the first thing that I try when I run FK11N tr.
    Real Cost Ctr (43424) , Statistical Order (4024332) and primary cost element (307015) --> I have statistical postings to repost
    What I want is :
    Real Cost Ctr (43398) , Statistical Order (4024332) and primary cost element (307015) must be the same--> I need the statis. post.
    *If I run KB11N , only with the sender, (43424), and receiver, (43398), cost centers I will have:
    1. In the original (sender) cost center ,43424, I still have the statistical postings
    2. In the Receiver cost center as 43398--> I will have the statistical posting for reposting like real posting intead of statistical postings.
    This is because I try also with the original order the tr. KB11N and the reason of this message.

  • Statistical postings for Internal oder

    Hi
    During the month end as usual we settle the AUC documents to the asset,Once
    the settlement is done the values will be flown to the Financial acounting.menaing to say all the line items will be settled to the particular asset.
    Now lets say if i have 100 line items in that settlement,once the settlement is done
    all line items are will diappear in th CO and for the whole amount FI document will be genarated.
    Now i am looking for a solution where even after settlement also i want to see
    all line tems in  CO until the AUC get completed which will give us detailed analysis at any point of time by going through all line items until it get complets.
    As i know in Interanl order statistical postings can accomidate the functionality of
    providing the details when ever we need,but where is in my case this is true postings,
    Can it possible in anyway to have the postings one for statistical order and one for
    real order for the one entry.so that i can settle the true order,and for information
    purpose i can lookout always the statical order for same postings.
    Thanks
    Lily

    Hello
    Check these rules:
    Note the following rules for account assignments:
    ·        You need to specify a true Controlling object in each posting item.
    You cannot assign to a objects such as a statistical project without specifying a true Controlling object.
    ·        In each posting item, you can specify up to three statistical Controlling objects in addition to the true Controlling object.
    For example, you can post costs to a cost center and also to a statistical order and a statistical project.
    ·        You cannot assign costs to more than Controlling object of the same type in one posting item.
    For example, you cannot post to both a true order and a true project.
    The only exception to this is that you can assign to a cost center and one other true Controlling object. In this case, the posting is true for the additional Controlling object and statistical for the cost center.
    ·        You cannot specify the same Controlling object as being true and statistical in the same posting item.
    You cannot post to an order and a statistical order in the same posting item.

  • Statistical postings in special ledger

    Hi,
    I have a question about PA postings in Special ledger.
    When I post a FI doc with PA segment (real posting) and cost center (statistical posting) when I display Special ledger line item I can only see the PA segment but not the cost center. The when I post the same FI doc without the PA segment I can display the cost center correctly ( I think that it is because in this case the cost center is the real posting)
    Is it possible to display both CO objects, real and statistical?
    Thank you very much

    Hi Beatriz!
    Could you please post how did you manage to get statistical postings on the Special Ledger?
    Thanks in advance.

  • This might be a simple question.   On those sites that do not differentiate between models when on the internet I.e. Facebook when after your comment and you cannot hit "enter" on an iPad for examp. And speed is slow to connect.  What is = to post?

    This might be a simple question. On those sites that do not differentiate between CRT, laptop, tablet etc. such as an iPad Mini and using the Facebook site fir example when going to post a comment and you do not have a enter button on the IPad and the speed is slow how do you get your comments to post if we do not have a enter button?

    I don't have facebook so I cannot answer but for your personal security, I have asked the hosts to remove your e-mail address.   It is very unwise to publish this.

  • Htmlb:tree differentiate between nodeclick and tree node expander click

    Hi,
    how can i differentiate between nodeclick and tree node expander (to get to its children) click in my event processing in htmlb:tree element.
    <u><b>What i am trying to achieve?</b></u>
    Onload just load root node and its immediate children.
    On node expand get the children of the current node and modify htmlb:tree table2 with additional node inofs.
    on node click  call some client function.
    But my issue is that i am not able to differentiate between node expander click and node click in my event handling. Any help on this is appreciated.
    (I am not using MVC)
    Thanks in advance.

    After reading your weblog I think I understand better. I did some testing with my example.  I am using the toggle = "true", so that the page returns to the server each time an expander is selected.
    <htmlb:tree id          = "myTree1"
                  height      = "75%"
                  toggle      = "true"
                  title       = "<b><otr>EQI Reporting Tree</otr></b>"
                  width       = "90%"
                  onTreeClick = "myTreeClick"
                  table       = "<%= application->selection_model->itview                             %>" >
      </htmlb:tree>
    However I have not added any coding in my event handler to respond to the expander event.  I only respond to myTreeClick (which loads some data for the given selection).  The BSP tree element itself must be doing the hard work for me.
      if event_id cs 'tr_myTree1'.
        data: tree_event type ref to cl_htmlb_event_tree.
        tree_event ?= htmlb_event.
        if tree_event->server_event = 'myTreeClick'.
          clear appl->message1.
          appl->selection_model->get_chart_data( appl = appl
                                                 node = tree_event->node ).
        endif.
      endif.
    I pass my entire tree defintion to the element.  It appears that it only sends visible nodes to be rendered. When the expander is selected, I don't have to do anything, the tree re-renders with only the newly visible rows.
    I tested and turned off the toggle (toggle = "false") and my page took forever to load because it was sending all the nodes to the frontend on the first load.

  • Differentiate between shortcut keys Alpha (keyboard) Enter and Number Pad (10 key) Enter

    I need to be able to differentiate between the Keyboard enter and the 10 key enter (see image below) using a shortcut key in Captivate and/or Flash. These keys are used for two different reasons in the application that I am creating a simulation for.  Using ENTER allows the learner to use either key to continue with the simulation. I would like to force use of each of these keys differently.

    Hi Rastapote, and welcome to the HP Support Forums!
    I understand that you are having a problem with the numeric keypad on your HP Compaq 6830s Notebook PC. This is a business Notebook and you would get the best answer to your question on the HP Enterprise Business Community forum as they deal with the Business products.

  • How to differentiate between Parent and Child in IBASE?

    Hi. I am working on enhancing a BAPI :BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE by calling the following function module IBPP_CREATE_IBASE at its exit.
    The BAPI is being called from an SAP ME system and will be passing MATNR and Serial Number of Parent and Child materials to create the IBASE in ECC system. I am confused as to how to differentiate between whether a object is Parent or a Child when the BAPI: BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE is called.

    if you have NULL valued fields. If
    you do a compare and one or both are NULL, then the result is always NULL,
    never true or false. Even comparing two fields which are both NULL will
    give NULL as result, not true! Or if you have something like "select
    sum(field) from ..." and one or more are NULL, then the result will be
    NULL. Use always "if field is NULL ..." for NULL checking and for safety
    maybe something like "select sum( IsNull(field,0) ) from ...". Check the
    function ISNULL() in the manual.

  • Statistical postings

    Hi
    When I run the cost center report (S_ALR_87013611) there are two tables with details. One with Cost element, actual costs, plan costs, varience, varience %....The other table is Statistical postings, statistical actual, varience, varience %.. Same accounts are in both the tables
    Pls explain whats Statistical postings...and do I need to get both the reports when analysing cost center reports

    When you make a postingin FI you can post only actual costs on 1 CO-object.
    When you fill in a internal order number and cost center, on posting is actual and the other one is statistical. Statistical postings you can't settle.
    In some cases this is used like with marketing costs.
    The actual costs you post on internal order that is set up as statistical (in the internal order you assign the cost center for the actual costs). Then the posting is statistical on your IO and actual on your cost center.
    When the IO is not statistical the actual costs are on your IO and the statistical are on your costcenter

  • Differentiate between SRM Confirmation and Confirmation Cancellation

    We have a requirement to differentiate between SRM confirmation and cancellations.  In POWL both looks same.
    1.  Is there any way we can assign different number ranges for confirmations and cancellations
    2.  Is there any other solution, from the POWL we can differnetiate these two documents
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Check in the confirmation POWL status
    1. SRM confirmation posted -- Status - Posted in the Backend
    2. SRM confirmation cancelled -- Status -Document deleted.
    Check this status

  • How to clear Statistical Postings from Cost Center

    Hi All,
    Is there a way to clear the statistical postings from the cost center it has been incorrectly posted to and be moved to the correct cost center?
    I think there is a way to do it by making debit and credit entries to the G/L account where the postings initiated, but I am not sure about the whole process.
    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi Pradeep,
    I think u can use T.code KB15N for the issue ur facing.

  • Servlet filter that can differentiate between Filter and Servlet Writers

    Hey,
    I'm trying to build a Filter and HttpServletResponseWrapper that, when applied to a generic servlet, can differentiate between the output stream from the Servlet and the one from the Filters.
    So, say I have a servlet:
    PrintWriter pw = response.Writer();
    pw.write( "Output from servlet" );
    pw.close();And a filter that is applied to the servlet:
    PrintWriter pw = response.Writer();
    pw.write( "Output from filter" );
    pw.close();I want to be able to do this in my filter that is able to differentiate between the servlet and filter response:
    System.out.println( "Response from servlet: " + responseWrapper.servlet.toString() );
    System.out.println( "Response from filter: " + responseWrapper.filter.toString() );The responseWrapper.servlet and responseWrapper.filter can contain all filter responses from all the servlet(s) and filter(s), respectively.
    Can anyone give me guidance as to how to start with this - really I just need to know if I can differentiate between servlet and filter responses in a generic way (without having to modify the response specially in the filter or servlet files that write output)
    Thanks for your time.

    first thing's first..if the OutputStream if not closed Either a Filter or a ServletChain can write on to the stream.
    There could be cases where the servletoutputstream would be closed at servlet end itself.Therefore,its a valiant effort by acomplishing a responseheader in the response to indicate that.
    Now once the response/outputstream is not closed or flushed out there is not direct way by which you do this unless we indicate using response Headers as flags when we are implementing FilterChaning.
    Hope that might help :)
