Differentiation between B2B and A2A

Hi,
Can anybody give me a real time example between B2B and A2A in general and XI Perspective?

Here is some more info to top up
Think, Company A is dealing only with Legacy Systems or Java Based applications, but Company B cannot directly understand COmpany A's format. So the Integration Broker like XI will come into picture. While integrating Company A should know how feasible it can communicate with Company B.. More in technical, is thru WebServices Industry Standard Adapters(Seeburger EDI)/(SOAP)/Java Applications(JavaProxy)/.net Applications etc..

  • Can we have different products between B2B and B2C

    Hi Experts,
I have one basic question.  Can we maintain the different products between B2B and B2C users.  Because we have requirement is B2B users should get all the products, but B2C users should get limited products.  Is there way we can setup like this to meet the requirements.  Please let me know.  Thank you very much in advance.
    With Regards,
    Sudheer.

You do this by creating two Product Catalogs (PCAT_B2C and PCAT_B2B, for example)  Then, in ShopAdmin you assign the B2C site to PCAT_B2C and the B2B to the PCAT_B2B.
Another possibility, although not very user friendly is to use one PCAT and allow B2B users to add items to their cart directly, even thought they're not in the PCAT.  The drawback here is that they MUST know the exact number and they can not search for them.  I can give more info on this if you feel it might work for you, but it is not a very good option as a general rule.

  • Difference between b2b and b2c in commerce

    hi all,
Can anyone tell the clear difference between b2b and b2c, and when we are going for b2b and b2c in commerce
    regards
    shya

B2B have few extra features it provides to implement B2B solution like Order Approval, Cost Center, Invoices, Profile Organization structure, CustomCatalog are mandatory, PriceLists are mandatory etc.
With ATG10, B2C also made Custom Catalogs mandatory.
If you do not want the B2B features in your project then go for B2C.
    Peace

  • Differentiating Between Dependent and Independent Data

    HI,
How can I make a differentiation between dependent and independent data?

    HI,
If you double click a Transfer requirement in SE10 or SE09 and then press F4 in the field category, you will find some helpful information.
Client dependent or independent transfer requirements include client specific or cross client objects in the change requests. Workbench objects like SAPscripts are client specific, some entries in customizing are client independent.
If you display the object list for one change request, and then for each object the object attributes, you will find the flag client specific.
If one object in the task list has this flag on, then that transport will be client dependent.
You can also find a list of the high class objects in SAP, here you will see the flag on/off. Use TCODE SOBJ.
Start STMS and double click on the request itself, you will see which type of request it is (Workbench -> client independent or Customizing -> client dependent).
I recommend you to import every request on each client without looking inside the request.
    Reward Points if found helpfull..
    Cheers,
    Chandra Sekhar.

  • Differentiating between open and closed invoices

    Hi all
I am using a database view of tables VBRK and VRKPA  for fetching invoice list based on the customer number. Can I use  'VBRK-RFBSK = C' to differentiate between closed  and open invoices?  If not is there any other field i can use from this particular view for the same.
    Thanks

    Hi Asim,
Yes, you are absolutely right. This field give you the exact result like which billing dcoument is open and which is closed.

  • Integration between B2B and ESB error (DOM Parsing Exception in translator)

    Hello,
We have configured a circuit that has the objective of sending a message to B2B and then the ESB dequeues that message from the IP_IN_QUEUE.
The problem is that for some reason, the ESB cannot read message using the AQ Adapter object.
    The error is the following:

I think that the problem should be because of the "Extra" (eg. <Extra-

    Hello,
We have configured a circuit that has the objective of sending a message to B2B and then the ESB dequeues that message from the IP_IN_QUEUE.
The problem is that for some reason, the ESB cannot read message using the AQ Adapter object.
    The error is the following:
DOM Parsing Exception in translator. DOM parsing exception in inbound XSD translator while parsing InputStream. Check the error stack and fix the cause of the error. Contact oracle support if error is not fixable.
    The trace is the following:

I think that the problem should be because of the "Extra" (eg. <Extra-

  • Mix B2B and A2A in integration scenario

    Hello XI experts,
I'm trying to build an integration scenario in the repository that I want to import later on into the directory for automatic configuration.
The scenario is HTTP -> XI -> RFC. On the sender side I would like to use a business service, so I selected 'External party with B2B communication' for the sending application component. On the receiver side I would like to use a SAP business system, so I didn't select that option there.
Now, if I import into the directory, this doesn't work as expected. I can select my business service for the sender side, this works. However, for the receiver side I always have to specify a virtual receiver service and my receiver determination and interface determination are created with a virtual receiver service in it.
Is there any way to avoid the virtual receiver? Any help is appreciated!
    Best regards,
    Matthias

    Hello Aamir,
you are right, I don't need virtual receivers for my scenaro and I also don't want to use them.
However, when modelling my scenario with an integration scenario in the design, I'm forced to do this and I would like to know whether there is any way to avoid this.
In order to be able to use a business service on the sender side, it seems I have to select the checkbox 'External party with B2B communication' in my integration scenario. When importing & configuring the scenario in the directory, I am then able to select by business service for the sender side. However, for the receiver side I have to specify a virtual receiver, otherwise I cannot finish the config wizard.
    Any more ideas?
    Best regards,
    Matthias

  • Differentiating between RO and RW snmp communities in Prime

      - Will Prime, ever support, different read/write SNMP community-values  for devices in the future ?
(Uptill now only one community can be entered for a device, making it difficult if you manage devices using different SNMP RW community names)
Of course, it would then be expected that Prime will use the RW community for config updating, amongst other tasks (too).
    M.

Apology for my misunderstanding, but the problem isn't clear to me enough. Do you mean :
      1. Using multiple community strings for a same device?
      2. Using different strings in Prime for Read Only and another for Read Write?
For (1) there is certainly no plans as of now. As most of the customer prefer to have one RO and RW strings with all security measures (with ACL's and accounting for particular String etc) use it. But with your business requirement justification, you may raise a Product Enhancement Request (PER).
For (2) it is still an option. We still have a choice of entering a individual RO and RW string for a specific device.
Please check and let us know for more details.
    -Thanks

  • How are B2B and BOB web shops differentiated?

    Hi Experts,
I am have a requirement where in i have to diaplay a table with 10 columns. In B2B i have to display all the 10 columns but in BOB i have to display the same table with only 7 columns. How can i differentiate this display of B2B and BOB? Based on what they have differentiated the B2B and BOB shops? Is there any flag which checks whether it is a B2B or BOB, if so can you please provide some inputs of how to go about it?
    Thanks a lot in Advance!

  • B2b and b2c

    Hi -
Can anyone head me toward documentation that will tell me the differences between a B2C customer and a B2B customer?  Would be really helpful instead of having to test each function over and over to see the differences.
    Thanks,
    Shelby

Well the shopping experience is pretty close between B2B and B2C. There are a few subtle differences in the checkout. B2B customers see a Requested Ship date field that B2C customers don't. Also, you can create an "On Account" payment option that is usually restricted to B2B customers so they don't need to enter a credit card (but you can open this up to all customers if you like, it's configurable).
When the BP synchs from SBO, all the addresses on the account synch as well so these would be available for the customer to choose from when they place an order. New addresses a BP creates in WebTools are created in SBO as well. The BP contacts synch to WebTools as well (as users in WebTools) depending on what BP Contacts synch field you choose (email, userid, internal code, seek and choose). If you chose email for example and a contact doesn't have an email address then that contact won't synch.
Also, if you assign a specific pricelist to a BP in SBO that synchs to WebTools along with other special pricing so when a B2B customer logs in, they see their own pricing that may be different from a B2C customer pricing.
When a B2B customer places an order, it synchs to SBO for that BP but if a B2C customer places an order it normally synchs to a "generic" BP created in SBO with the shipping information in UDF's on the order.

  • Difference between procedure and function

    hi
please give solution to below discussion:
Interviewer: What is the difference between Procedure and Function ?
Myself: Procedure may or may not return a value and can return multiple values and Function must return a value.
Interviewer : Can function return multiple values ?
myself: Yes, It can return multiple values.
Interviewer: Then, there is no need to use procedures any more, according to your previous answer (function can return multiple values) "we can do all the things by using procedures by using functions". Then why there is differentiation between procedure and function ?
myself : no reply (simply frustated at this question)
The above is conversation between me and interviewer.
Please suggest me what would be my reply to above topic.
In one book i find that using functions we can return multiple values but it is poor programming practice.
why this is a programming practice ?
    please suggest me solution

Another difference is function must return something. There is no such restriction on procedure. In fact, a procedure CANNOT contain an expression in its RETURN statement.

  • Difference between party and service without party

    Hi all,
Please tell me the difference between Service and Service without party  and also let me know what is Business system, Business service and Integration process.
    regards,

    Hi Sudha
    <u><b>Party</b></u>
Party is used to represent a Business Partner (doesnt belong to the current landscape) which is defined in B2B Scenarios. So All the systems/services accociated with the Party are referred only as Services.
    <u><b>Service without Party</b></u>
It is used to represent any service within the landscape and is used in A2A communication.
