Differrence between open inquiry and incomplete inquiry

Dear experts,
I have some doubts . Actually I am a abaper. So please kindly tell me what is the differrence between open inquiry and incomplete inquiry OR Open quotation and Incoplete quotation and  Open order and Incomplete order. I know some std transaction for this.
VA15 open inquiry or V.03  incomplete inquiry
VA25 Open quotation  V.04 Incoplete quotation
VA05 Open order  or V.02   Incomplete order

Hi,
Open Inquiry means, Inquiry is not completely Referenced , once it is completely referenced, it get status as Completed
Incomplete Inquiry, means there is some data missing in the document which required and needed to be entered.
Same applies to Quotations
Open Sales Orders, when all the items are not delivered completely, then that order is considered as Open Sales Order
But when few items of that sales order have been delivered completely, then order will have status as Being Processesed,
but at item level that item will have status as Completed
Incomplete Sales Order - Same as Inquiry and quotations
Hope you get some inputs
regards,
Sagar

  • Difference between open quantity and delivery quantity

    Hi all,
Please anybody explain me the difference between open quantity and delivery quantity My question is both are same in the value or different I need to report these 2 fields based on date.
open quantity is available in table vbbe
delivery quantity available in table lips.
for open quantity i have one select statement.
for delivery quantity i have another select statement.
i want to club these 2 fields into a single report.
    please clarify my doubt.
    regards
    chandu

    Hi,
Open quantity is nothing but the quantity which we have at the DAY starts.
Delivered quantity means which was delivered on that DAY.
So Opening qty - Delivered qty = Closing qty for a DAY.
Again this Closing qty will be the Opening qty for next DAY.
I think based on POSNR u need to club both the quantity in single report.
select vbeln posnr matnr omeng mbdat into itab from VBBE where....
select vbeln posnr matnr lfimg mbdat into itab1 from lips where....
    loop at itab.
    read table itab1 with key....
    move:....to itab2.
    endloop.
    Thanks.
I hope this will help you.

  • Difference between open loop and closed loop mode when finding the index on a stepper motor axis.

I have a test system which uses a PXI-7352 motion controller with a MID-7602 stepper motor drive to position a 200 step/revolution stepper motor with an attached 1000 line encoder.  The MID-7602 is configured for 64 microsteps per step, giving 12,800 microsteps and 4000 encoder counts per revolution.  The system is controlled using LabView 7.1 and NI-Motion 6.13.  To home the motor, I've defined a sequence in MAX which first finds the reverse limit switch and then moves forward to the encoder index pulse.
When finding its reference in open loop mode, the system its reference at the same microstep each time.  When findings its reference in closed loop mode, the system finds its reference somewhere within about a 20 microstep wide range.
I hope somebody out there with more experience with this controller can describe the difference between finding the encoder index in open loop mode and finding the encoder index in closed loop mode.
    Thanks,
    Mark Moss

    Hello Mark,
I suspect that the behavior you are experiencing has today
with the resolution difference between your encoder and your
microstepping.  Let me illustrate with an
    example:
    Example Setup
    Stepper
    Motor
    NI
    Motion Controller
    10
steps per encoder pulse (Every 10 steps the controller gets an encoder
pulse, therefore positions 0-9 all appear to be 0 to the controller)
    The
system has a maximum of 3 pull in moves set
    Open Loop Scenario
    The
system is commanded to go to position 9.
    The
    controller sends out 9 pulses.
    The
    motor moves to position 9.
    Closed Loop Scenario
    The
system is commanded to go to position 9.
    The
    controller sends out 9 pulses.
    The
    motor moves to position 9.
    The
controller checks its position and sees that it is still at position 0
because it has not received an encoder pulse.
    Because
the controller thinks it is still at position 0, it sends another 9 pulses
as its first pull in move.
    The
    motor moves to position 18.
    The
controller checks its position and sees that it is at position 10 because
it has only received one encoder pulse.
    Because
the controller thinks it is still at position 10, it sends1 reverse pulse
as its second pull in move.
    The
    motor moves to position 17.
    The
controller checks its position and sees that it is at position 10 because
it has only received one encoder pulse.
    Because
the controller thinks it is still at position 10, it sends and additional
single reverse pulse as its third pull in move.
    The
motor moves to its final position of 16.
I believe something similar is happening with your
application as it looks for the index pulse.
Because the controller does not compensate for what it perceives as
position error in open loop mode, the motor always goes to the same commanded
position.  In closed loop mode, the motor
is bouncing around inside the single index encoder pulse trying to find a
    certain position.
There are several recommendations I can make towards
    correcting this behavior.  These
recommendations are in order of effectiveness:
    Setup
your system so that there are more encoder counts per revolution than
    steps per revolution.
    Turn
off pull-in moves by setting them to 0 in MAX.
    Use an
    open loop configuration.
    Play
around with the pull in window in MAX.

    Luke H

  • Differrence between HTS Code and Commodity Code

    Hi All,
What is the difference between commodity code and HTS code in US. Also what's the significance of both the codes.
    Regards,
    Prabu

    Hi Prabhu,
The difference between HTS and Commodity codes are as below
HTS is Harmonized Tariff Schedule which is a product classification used when using for US Customs import Declaration
Commodity Codes known as Schedule B Numbers are the product classification numbers used when in doing the Customs Export Declaration.
Commodity Codes or HTS or HS codes are mainly depend on the basic commonly agreed numbering schemes maintained by World Customs Organization(WCO).
The common thing among these two numbering schemes is the first 6 digits are same and rest are different.

    Hi,
Run report RFINDEX_NACC (in SE38, older versions of SAP have RFINDEX as the program) for the GL account.  Please read the documentation of the program; as the program is resource intensive; limit your selection to this specific account.  Select the "more detailed" radio button.  should help you identify the reason.
Also do check that the 2010 period is not open and being posted into.

  • Display between open items and cleared items in FS10N

    hello all,
    I have the following problem.
When I go with FS10N with double click on the initial balance of an G/L account I get the message:
"A large number of line items were selected
    Recommendation: Only display open items
Do you want to display open items only?
    Yes or NO?"
If I click yes, I get the open items only and if I click no, I get the cleared items. The strange thing is that I get same line items in both reports. For example, I can see same line item, one time as cleared (when I click no) and one time as open (when I click yes).
Do you know the reason for this? For both reports I click on initial balance, so key date should be 01.01.2009, if I run FS10N for fiscal year 2009. Right?
The user is confused in this situation because he is not sure if the item is cleared or not.
    thanks for quick reply!
    Daniel Nicula.

If you click yes, you get the open items only , but if I click no, you don't get the cleared items only. With NO, you get ALL items.

  • Relationship between "open" parameters and argv

I'm coming from the Linux world, where the command-line arguments passed to a program show up in main()'s argv parameter.
I ported my app to OS X. It has a GUI, so I built it as a .app using CMake's MACOSX_BUNDLE option.
The actual executable program is burried: "foo.app/Contents/MacOS/foo". When I execute that directly, everything works as expected. If I call my program with arguments "A B C", I get argv[1] = "A", etc.
But launching a program buried deep in a ".app" directory tree made me think I was fighting the intended way of doing things. So I've tried calling my program with the "open" command from the command line. I.e., "open -a foo A B C". But when I do this, argv[1] doesn't contain "A". It contains a string starting with "-psn_".
So here's my question: If I need to launch a program with a GUI, and that program is supposed to take arguments on its command line, what's the most Apple-blessed way to launch it?

Change your program. GUI programs don't take command line arguments. GUI applications get their input via the user or via Apple Events.
When a GUI program is launched, its command line looks like "/path/to/myapp.app/Contents/MacOS/myapp -psn XXXX". You can't alter that and shouldn't try. However, you can look at those command line arguments and, if you see "-psn XXXX", assume you are running under a GUI. If you don't see "-psn XXXX", then your application was launched from the command line and you can process your arguments in the traditional fashion.

  • Moving between open windows and cursor doesn't work

I have several open windows from several programs.
If I click on window 1 in program A, and then click on window 2 in program B, I expect the mac to switch to that window in program B.
But many times lately, in Tiger, that does not happen. I can click on the window, and the cursor does not work. Nor does the menu bar change. I can go back to window 1 and the cursor still does not work.
Only when I go to the dock, and click on the program icon does the window and cursor work properly.
This happens in Tiger. I don't recall having this behavior in any older OS X, OS 9, or other older version either.
This has happened on my iMac G5 and G4 tower. Is this a known problem?

This happens since I started using the Mighty mouse on both computers.

  • Any differrence between SDK1.3 and SDK1.4?

Is there any difference between both version of development tools?...I have a book written by Laura Lemay & Rogers Cadenhead which titled as "SAMS Teach Yourself Java 2 in 21days". Could i use it as my main reference book for the version i currently downloaded, J2SDK1.4.2_01, or should i learn SDK 1.3 first?

    1) If the book is for a newer version than your SDK, it may use some new features that are not present in the older version. 1.4 adds a fair amount of stuff that's not in 1.3, though I'm not sure how much will come up in a book like that.
    2) If the book is for an older version than your SDK, as long as it's not too much older, all the examples should work, and pretty much everything it says should hold. Almost anything that works in 1.3 will work in 1.4
    3) GET RID OF THAT BOOK!! Or at least, don't be suckered in by the title. Don't expect to get anything other than a superficial overview in 21 days. If you really want to learn Java, the tutorials on this site are good, and there are a couple of books that always get mentioned here. A search of the site should turn up lots of posts with their names.
    4) Just go ahead and get 1.4.2 if you don't have it already. Unless you're maintaining something written in 1.3, there's really no reason not to get the latest. Since you're just starting out, you might as well start with what's current (for now, at least).

  • OKP1 What is differrence  between locking period and locking Transaction

    Hello Gurus,
In Transaction code OKP1, which is use to lock controlling periods for controlling. There are two options One is locking the periods and the other is locking the transactions. Any body knows what is the differrence.
    Thanks

    Hi Rickyy,
The two buttons act as 'Select All' function. Select a period (place cursor on any period) and click on button 'Lock Period' to lock all transactions in a period (vertical). Similarly, select a transaction (row) and click on button 'Lock transaction' which will lock all the periods for that transaction (horizontal). In the same way, you have unlock buttons.
    Hope this helps.

  • Full screen mode: How to switch between open windows?

    Hi There,
Is there way to get CMD + ` working in full screen mode?
Other shortcuts like CMD + OPT [ ] to switch between open tabs and CMD + TAB to switch apps seem to work - but without the ability to switch between open windows within the same app, full screen mode is kind of useless.
Any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated.

  • 7344 servo motion switching between open and closed loop operation

I have a custom end-of-line test system presently using a 4-axis 7344 servo controller to perform various functional tests on small, brushed DC motors. The system is programmed in C/C++ and uses flex motion functions to control the motor during testing. Motors are coupled to external encoder feedback and third party PWM drives running in closed-loop torque mode from an analog command signal. The system uses all four motion axis channels on the 7344 board to independently and asynchronously test up to four production motors at a time.
In closed-loop mode, the system runs without issue, satisfying the battery of testing protocols executed by this system. I now have a request to add additional test functionality to the system. This testing must be run in open loop mode. Specifically, I need to use my +/- 10v analog output command to my torque drive to send different DAC output levels to the connected motor.drive while monitoring response.
I do not believe the flex motion library or 7344 controller includes functions to easily switch between open and closed loop mode without sending a new drive configuration. I am also under the impression that I cannot reconfigure one (or more) servo controller axis channels without disabling the entire drive. As my system runs each axis channel in an asynchronous manner, any requirement to shutdown all drives each time I change modes is an unworkable solution.
I am open to all ideas that will allow asynchronous operation of my 4 motor testing stations. If the only solution is to add a second 7344 controller and mechanical relays to switch the drive and motor wiring between two separately configured servo channels, so be it. I just want to explore any available avenue before I place a price tag on this new system requirement.
    Bob

    Jochen,
Thank you for the quick response. The 7344 board does an excellent job running my manufacturing motor assemblies through a custom end-of-line tester in closed loop mode. A portion of the performance history and test result couples the motor through a mechanical load and external shaft. The shaft is in contact with a linear encoder that closes my servo loop.
My new manufacturing requirement is to also sample/document how the small DC motor behaves in open loop operation. Your solution is exactly what I need to perform the additional functional tests on the product I am manufacturing. I see no reason why this cannot work. I was originally concerned that I would need to reinitialize the 7344 board after changing axis configuration. Initialization is a global event and impacts all four channels on the 7344 board.
Using flex_config_axis() to change axis configuration on a single channel without disturbing other potentially running axis channels will solve my concern. It will be several weeks before I can return to the manufacturing facility where the 7344-based testing machine is located. I will update this thread once I verify a successful result.

  • Blends: Difference between open and closed paths modifying spine

Okay, just had a discovery today about the blend tool.
The difference between closed paths and open paths is critical when you want to modify a blend spine, such as make it curve. Between open paths, there is no spine shown when a blend is created. Ever notice this? Between closed paths, there is a spine, which can be modified, such as making it curved. Now, the trick is how to modify a spine with open paths when there is no spine shown. Found out today that starting with a closed path, segments can be deleted to make the path open, then the spine can be modified and the open path state maintained!
This is a huge bug in Illustrator and makes no sense to me. Wanting Adobe to fix this in the next major release. Hope this helps anyone struggling with this issue.

One thing you should be aware of concerning open ended splines:
It makes an enormous difference as to how the blend behaves whether the endpoints have handles or not.
Give them handles and you will find that you can alter the distribution of the blend objects just by adjusting the handles or by dragging on the spline itself.
    Give it a try.
