Difficult to transfer saved games by Storm8(How?)

I bought my wife a new iPad. We backed up the contents and transferred eveything to the new iPad. Eveything worked fine except the Storm8 or Teamlava games like Bakery Story etc. It turns out you can't just backup and restore those apps in a new iPad. Infact it's so difficult and confusing. There's instructions like emailing them the approximate install of the app. I can't even remember when I saw the app. If I can't answer them, they won't be able to help me. In fact the instruction says I need to get to a certain level first(that means if you may have to buy gems in game first) I call that a rip off. We already bought gems in game and now it's all useless.
For those of you or whoever was successful in transferring the saved games, can you share ti here? Don't bother posting a link to Storm8's site. Cause like I said it was useless for us.

You're asked to level up to a certain level first because that's when you unlock the ability to create a Storm8 ID in the game for Storm8 games. Just go to the menu in any Storm8 game you play, select Storm8, and choose Start/Resume Transfer.
Next time, try emailing Storm8 Support ([email protected]) or TeamLava Support ([email protected]) and they'll ask you for your account information to help you transfer your games.

  • How can I transfer saved games to my iPad?

I have an old iPod Touch and just bought an iPad 2.  I'm able to transfer the apps to my iPad, but I can't seem to transfer the progress from games to it.  Can I transfer saved game data to the iPad so that I don't have to start the games from scratch?
I'm not looking at playing the games on both devices - just starting the games on the iPad from where I left off on the iPod Touch.

You could try restoring from the backup of the touch. If you restore the iPad from the backup of the iPod Touch these items will restore. The bold type bullet points (I made the type bold) indicate what you may be hoping to recover. If you restore from the backup, you still need to sync apps, music, vieos, photos etc., onto the iPad however.

  • How to transfer the iPhone4 saved game to iPad2

How do I transfer all my iPhone4 saved game to iPad? so I can continue to play my saved game on iPad2.

3rd party app settings and data created and stored by an app is included with your iPhone's backup, which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process.
You must restore your iPad with iTunes from your iPhone's backup.

  • Moving to a new PC - how to I keep saved games etc.?

I have a new MacMini that I want to associate my iPad and iPhone with.  I don't want to lose saved games and other settings.  How do I do this?

I post this from time to time and it seems to have helped others in your situation.
    Very Important ....
    1. Authorize the computer.
    2. Turn off auto sync in iTunes
    3. Transfer purchases
    4. Backup
The following was copied from this thread. This is essentially what you want to accomplish.
    https://discussions.apple.com/message/11527071#11527071
    1) Without connecting your iPad to your new computer, start iTunes. Click on iTunes. Click on Preferences. Click on Devices. Check the box next to "Prevent your iPod etc. from automatically syncing." Click OK.
    2) Now connect your iPad to your computer and start iTunes.
    3) When iTunes starts, right click on your iPad under Devices in the left column. Select Transfer purchases etc.
    4) After it finishes transferring all your apps to your computer, right click on your iPad and select Backup your iPad.
    5) After it finishes backing up your iPad, right click on your iPad and select Restore etc.
    6) After it finishes restoring, left click on your iPad , then click on the Apps tab on top, and check the box next to Sync Apps, then click on Apply below.
If everything on your iPad looks good after the sync, go back and click on iTunes / Preferences / Devices and UN-check the box next to Prevent your iPod etc. The only other thing you may want to check is if your contacts, bookmarks, etc. are syncing correctly now. If not, go to the Info tab after connecting and make sure you indicate which features you want to sync with what sources.
Read this thread and the support links as well. There are apps that you can purchase that will allow you to transfer photos from the iPad to your computer. Look at Photo Transfer App in the App store and you can search for others as well.

One final note - you may want to leave auto sync turned off - but that is totally up to you. I never did use auto sync.

  • I have a current iPhone 5 with all my apps and games at certain levels, how do I use iCloud to transfer current game levels as only a few games have transferred and other games want me to start all over again on my new iPad?

I currently have an iPhone 5 that I play games on regularly and I have just bought the iPad 4 and I want to transfer all my game progress from the iPhone to the iPad. I have turned on iCloud on both devices and backed up and while all my games transfer only some of the games maintain progress where others want me to start all over again. I pretty sure I doing something wrong... Can some help or give me idiot proof guidance on how do do this successfully. I'm generally pretty tech savvy but this has me stumped and iCloud is ment to be easy to use.

I would not be able to give you idiot proof guide, since different games are different. Some of them have icloud integrated already, but those already taken care of. Some of them use specific logins and once you log - you get your info. General recommendation is to contact support sites of those games for enabling icloud instructions or enabling of transfer. There are other purely apple ways - like sync your phone in itunes and then sync apps with ipad, but those are only one time transfer. There is another way that is not typically recommended - restoring ipad from iphone backup. It may transfer your game content, but once again sync in the future has to be done by game.
So if I were you, I would address that individually with every game provider.

  • HT4539 how to i transfer my games from one ipod to another without starting all over?

can anyone help? i just got the new iPod touch 5th generation, i need to know how to transfer all of my games from my old ipod touch to my new one without starting all over. i want to transfer my games as they are.

Connect the old one to your computer's iTunes and do File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases on iTunes 11) to make sure that all of the apps are on your computer, then force a backup of the iPod by right-clicking the iPod 'device' and selecting 'backup' and then restore that backup onto your new iPod (that will overwrite anything that you've added to that iPod) - hopefully your games and their progress will be copied over.

how do I transfer saved email to my new icloud account?

When you migrate a MobileMe account to iCloud your email is transferred to the iCloud server, including all folders on the server.
However your signature says you have 10.6.8 - is this correct? (If not please amend it to prevent confusion.) Snow Leopard is not compliant with iCloud but you can set Mail up manually to access your iCloud email. Please see this page:

  • How do I stop "delete cookies" from deleting saved games of a flash based game?

    I'm running Firefox 4 under Windows 7.
I have it currently set to delete my history when I end the session, including cookies and temporary files. This is due to privacy concerns.
However, I also have a (downloaded - not run online or via a browser) flash based game on my computer - which saves games as LSOs.
Firefox therefore deletes my saved games when I exit.
How can I address my privacy concerns and still play this game?

I am having a problem where my flash game saves are deleting themselves on their own. I don't even have to clear browsing history, and I do not have any cleaning software installed. I have set storage to unlimited and that worked for a few days but I loaded a game this evening and my save file was gone and the storage had been reset to 100kB. I haven't touched anything, haven't deleted anything. It's infuriating.

How can I transfer a game from one iphone to another iphone with a different Game Center id

you just have to sign out of "iTunes & App Store" in the new phone's Settings App, and sign into your old phone's ID.  Then you can go to the App Store App and find the game in your purchased tab.  Download it, and then sign out of the Apple ID again in the "iTunes & App Store" section.

  • How can I restore single saved game data?

So I recently updated Infinity Blade 2 with the new update that just came out. However, this wiped my saved game.
However, my phone does iCloud backups, and I noticed that the saved game data was backed up previously.
Is there a way for me to restore the game and get my saved game back? I can see the saves but I don't know how to get them back!

I don't know if Macroplant's iExplorer application would help here, but I've posted details on how to back up and restore individual game data (achievements, scores, etc.) for future reference.
