Difficulty downloading movies...please help.
I am attempting to download a movie, but it doesn't seem to be working. It says that I have purchased the movie, but it won't download because it says that the disk i am trying to use is full. I am not trying to use a disk, and have no idea what it's talking about. It says it's error -34...any idea what any of this means?!?! Please help!! Thank you!
It's probably referring to your computer's hard drive, to which the movie (and anything else purchased from the iTunes Store) will be downloaded. How much space is available on the hard drive? (go to My Computer and right-click on the C: drive and select "Properties)

Absolutely. A proxy can prevent the software from downloading and installing.
I realize you have already purchased Lion from the App Store but a workaround in your case would be the thumb drive.

i used the "erase free space " option in disk utility and now my imac says the disk is full and wont let me download songs. please help!
You could try repairing permissions with disk utility, I don't think you will have the option to repair the drive but you could verify it.
This may help you delete the files that DU made but did not remove when erasing the free space.

When you get your SL disk it will not have the iLife applications, that would have been on the second install disk that should have been with the computer. A search of the forums will confirm or deny this.
As to whether a clean install will cure your problem, i.e. partition the HDD and install I would expect it to be yes, but there are no guarantees it is an old machine. -

Your other music shows under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your Mac's iTunes, and in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your phone - if they do then are you signed in with the same account or is that album hidden (hiding and unhiding) ? Is the laptop the computer that you normally sync the phone to (e.g. could you sync it), and could you copy the album from the laptop to your Mac Mini e.g. via file sharing, a flash drive etc (copying music)

How can I stop auto download of attachments without tapping on them? Once I open a mail, the attachment automatically starts downloading, though it is written as "tap to download". Please help..
To the best of my knowledge, there is no way to prevent the automatic downloading of the SD version when you buy an HD show.
You can, if you wish, suggest that the ability to prevent the SD version from downloading through the iTunes feedback page. But since the SD version is needed for use on iPods and there at least at present is no mechanism for someone to download the SD version at a later time should they decide they need it, Apple may just continue to force the downloading of both versions. If they get enough feedback on the issue, though, they may figure something out.

Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download - have you not got them on your computer and/or on a backup ? If not then you can try contacting Apple, but they are under no obligation to let you re-download them : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/

I had issues with the new update to itunes. I did as the website instructed and uninstalled all components.
I went back to download and it acts like everything has downloaded
by stating congratulations but nothing had downloaded.

I need the itunes on my desktop (PC_)Hi there, to authorize a computer, you open up itunes, and at the very very top lefthand corner, there will be a little window. Click on that, and it will present you with a list of options. From there, you go to the third option down, which says "Itunes Store," hover over it with your mouse, and it will give you another set of options. From there, you can see the two options, "Authorize" an "Deauthorize computer. Just click on "Authorize," enter in your apple ID and password, and your computer will be authorized! What did you use to download it with? iPad? iPhone? Computer?
If it's an iPad/iPhone, play it using the videos app.
If on the computer, look on the left side of iTunes in the library under movies. -
ITunes not playing downloaded digital copy of movie - please help
I bought "The Proposal" on Blu-Ray and used the bonus digital copy disc to download the movie to my iTunes page. The download went fine, and the poster art is showing fine. But when I actually play the movie all I'm getting is a black screen. I can see the screen stills for the chapter stops, and everything else seems to be working fine, and yet I get no image nor sound. Does anyone know why this happening? I have the most current version of iTunes.
And on a similar topic, I synched the movie to my iPod Touch 8G (3rd generation) and it says "this movie could not be played" when I try to play it there. I assume this problem is related to the issue in iTunes? My iPod software (I believe) is 2.2.1.
Can someone please help. Many thanks.In iTunes, click on "Store" at the top of your screen, and select deauthorize computer, and then select authorize computer. This will fix the problem.

Black Screen when trying to play iTunes Movies PLEASE HELP
This is my set up. I have an iMac running OS X (10.5) and a mac mini running (10.6) this mac mini is hooked up to my tv in the living room, it also is fitted with an external hard drive (this is where my itunes media folder is located for my mac mini). I enabled home sharing on both macs and they are both authorized to play my media. I recently downloaded two movies on my iMac and transferred them to my mac mini. Now here is the problem. I can play the movies fine on my iMac but when i try to play them on my mac mini all i get is a black screen with no sound. The movie is playing on the mac mini because i see the time bar moving but nothing is on the screen.
