Difficulty locating CS6 serial numbers for discounted Creative Cloud plan

Hello
I have Adobe CS6 (mostly all apps) on my Mac Book Pro which i do not use any more.
I want to move these licenses to my iMac or even buy Creative Cloud subscription but at the discounted rate (because i already own CS6).
I have moved countries last year ( from India to Canada) and do not have access to any serial numbers. I tried to update Adobe ID etc through individual app hoping it will lead me to a registration page or show my serial number, but safari open up with an error

Please advice on how to resolve situation!

  • I am trying to locate my serial numbers for the two creative cloud products? Illustrator and Photoshop.

    We subscribed to Adobe Creative Cloud last October, purchasing a single copy of Illustrator and Photoshop.
    The Web developer we had subsequently left the company, and I removed and re-assigned the products to our new Web developer in the Adobe Creative Cloud admin console and sent the 'welcome' emails to him.
    He said the mails weren't sent, so I re-removed and re-added him in the console but although it states the welcome email has been sent, the user is still marked as pending?
    James has fried to use the products, both of which show up as trial versions, asking for the serial numbers to be entered to unlock the full products & I don't have any record of them, nor can I find them under the CC profile?
    I purchased the software through Softcat and received confirmation emails from Adobe that the products were activated and ready to download.
    What have I done wrong?
    All help welcomed!

  • Missing Serial Numbers for Adobe Creative Suite 5 Web Premium

    I purchased Adobe Creative Suite 5 Web Premium with the education discount in 2010.  My computer crashed and I am trying to install the software on my new computer.  I do not have the serial numbers anywhere.  For some reason, the Adobe Acrobat 9 serial number was saved in my Adobe Account.  However, the remainder of the applications, which were installed on the same day, were not saved in my account?  So now, I have no way of installing anything except Adobe Acrobat 9.  Is there a way to have a new serial number issued to you?  Or a way for Adobe to  use my Acrobat 9 serial number to track down the others?  I have all the installation files.  Is it hidden in one of those files possibly?

    Try chat, they might be able to assist you in finding it thru your account.  You might be able to use the Acrobat info to convince them that you also have the CS5 under your account.

    I have Photoshop CS6 extended already installed on my mac. I want to upgrade to Creative Cloud, £27.34 a month for CS customers but it tells me I don't qualify even though that program is linked to my Adobe ID? How is that the case?

    The product is an education version,the education version are not eligible for promotional offer. Only direct online purchase for retail purchases are eligible for promotional offer.

    I've bought both Photoshop PS3, Dreamweaver PS3 and Adobe Flash Cs4, all for student price, I would now like to join Creative Cloud (not longer a student) for the discounted price before the offer runs out, and wonder if I qualify.
    Also, I don't know where my serial number is and have registered my Adobe Flash product but it still says that no product can be seen with my username.

    I installed after effects with creative cloud login-ed with my academic membership ID. But when I try to start the application of after effects, there comes a dialog ask me to activate the software with serial key, WHY? I have never faced this problem on other adobe application.

    Creative cloud do not need a serial number. it will be using your Adobe ID on which you have purchased the creative cloud membership.
    So you need to login with your Adobe ID and password to activate the cloud membership.

    I just downloaded Photoshop and Lightroom as part of the photography bundle for CC. Each time I launch the app, it is asking me to enter my serial number or continue as a trial. Does anyone know how to avoid this?

    If you are still using them as a trial then I do not think there is anything you can do but continue as a trial or purchase. When the trial period runs out the programs will stop functioning.

    We can't know. You have not told us anything about your existing products nor under which specific licensing/ pricing they were purchased. Not every product is eligible for discounts and that is just that.

    I have just checked your account and found that you indeed have bought a Creative Cloud for Teams subscription but you have assigned the single seat to another user hence you ( If you are using your own Adobe ID ) are getting the trial error message.
    Two options : Either reassign the seat to your self or add an additional seat and invite your self in the same Team.

  • I'm currently paying for a Creative Cloud photographers plan but I'm stuck with a free trial, how can i license it when it asks for a serial?

    I've paid for Adobe Creative cloud photographers package under a monthly subscription but i'm currently only getting access to the free trial as I can't seem to license the software, when I go to license it as instructed by Adobe I'm still asked for a serial number? When I check my Adobe account it shows no sign of any pain subscription yet they seem to be taking money from my account? I can't seen to find a means of taking it up with Adobe directly as I either want a refund of full access to the software i'm paying for.

  • Can't locate my serial numbers!

    I just had my Macbook Pro repaired by Apple and now that I got it back, I have to input the serial numbers for many of programs again. For some odd reason I cannot locate my FCP 7 (Final Cut Studio) serial numbers! I checked my install discs and other stuff for those little serial number stickers and am comming up empty handed! Not sure what to do...any ideas?

    Well im screwed then because I cannot find the serial numbers to FCP7 for nothing! I litterally ripped my edit room apart looking for them and I cannot find them anywhere. Before I sent my Macbook Pro to Apple I backed up everything. Does the computer store the serial numbers by chance any where? If so, could I go to my time machine back up and locate it. I am really worried now that I am going to have go out and buy Final Cut Studio 3 if its even available all over again over this! I can't believe this is happening! Apple said to make sure I backed up everything before sending my laptop off but I had no idea they would do something so I would have to re enter the serial numbers of my software!
