i need to know the difference between two statment as below in ecc
1) for eg var1 CO ' 345678910'
2) and var1 CO '345678910'
note the space in first statement as

the prolem is that in earler system the condition n is true as space is there
for eg var1 = '109323223' and its working
but in new system the space is not there hence the sy-subrc = 4 and the check is failed
pls suggest the implication of removing space in new system

I am a beginner so please don't throw rocks at me...
I have created two frames with NetBeans. One is the main frame (extends from JPanel) and the other frame I put it to be started when pressing a button from the main frame (the second frame extends from JFrame). Both frames are created using the designer in NetBeans, so the code for creating the GUI is automatically generated by NetBeans, so both frames use the same layout (GroupLayout).
Here is the code of the button from the main frame to start the second one:

How should I handle this?
What I want to do: I want to have a main frame, from which I can start additional ones (the main frame must be always opened, while the additional ones can be closed after performing certain actions). I read a little about internal frames and I think this can be a solution, but I must edit the existing design...

You must authorize the second computer with the same Adobe ID.
There are sometimes issues with this registration: if you have them ....
Sometimes ADE gets its registration/activation confused and in a semi-authorized state.
Uninstalling and reinstalling does not help.
Unfortunately, it often then gives misleading error messages about what is wrong.
A common incorrect message informs you that the ID is already in use on another computer and cannot be reused.
This can often be resolved by completely removing any authorization using ctrl-shift-D to the Library screen on ADE (cmd-shift-D if on Mac).
Restart ADE, and then reauthorize with your (old) Adobe ID.

I also have Jolly's problem. I found the iMovie 9.0.9 folder and tried to launch the older version of iMove. It would not launch. I removed all of the iMovie preferences from the Preferences folder, removed iMove 10 from the applications folder, and restarted my Mac. iMove 9.0.9 still won't launch and I can't access my videos created with the older version of iMovie. Is there a way to uninstall iMovie 10 and reinstall iMovie 9.0.9?
I am running Yosemitie on a iMac.

You can give this a try on your Ultimate machine. While these are said to be for Vista, I used it on my Win 7 machine just fine and it fixed the problems I was having. Hope it works for you.
The problem is that Vista, by default, will only use NTLMv2 for authentication, which is not supported by Mac OS X's Windows Sharing service.
The other problem is the Minimum Session Security for NTVLM SSP based Clients.
To get around this:
1.     In Vista, open the Control Panel
2.     Switch to "Classic" view
3.     Double-click Administration Tools
4.     Double-click Local Security Policy
5.     Or Secpol.msc
6.     Expand "Local Policies" and select "Security Options"
7.     Alternate : Type secpol.msc to get editor up then
8.     Locate "Network Security: LAN Manager Authentication Level" in the list and double-click it.
9.     Change the setting from "Send NTMLv2 response only" to "Send LM & NTLM - use NTLMv2 session if negotiated"
10.     Network Security: Minimum session security for NTLM SSP Based (including secure RPC) Clients
11.     Change the setting from "require 128 bit" to unchecked (No Minimum)
12.     Click OK

No, the SD slot will not work, you need an ExpressCard/34 slot.
I do not know if it works with cameras, but with two or more HDs, if the first one has two FW ports, you can "daisy chain" one or more additional HDs from it.

i Wanted to create MV on two tables with Fast refresh on commit.
I followed below steps
create materialized view log on t1 WITH PRIMARY KEY, rowid;
create materialized view log on t2 WITH PRIMARY KEY, rowid;
CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW ETL_ENTITY_DIVISION_ASSO_MV
REFRESH fast ON commit
ENABLE QUERY REWRITE
AS
select A.ROWID B.ROWID,a.c1, DECODE(a.c1,'aaa','xxx','aaa') c2
from t1 A
join t2 b
on AB.c1= CD.c2;
i am getting below error.
Error report:
SQL Error: ORA-12054: cannot set the ON COMMIT refresh attribute for the materialized view

Basically i want to take record in MV by joinig two tables and if both of the base tables will updated then record should reflect in materialised view.

does the table support PCT? the other restrictions on joins look to be ok in your statement.
maybe try creating first with on demand instead of commit to see does it create.

Some materialized views contain only joins and no aggregates, such as in Example 8-4, where a materialized view is created that joins the sales table to the times and customers tables. The advantage of creating this type of materialized view is that expensive joins will be precalculated.
Fast refresh for a materialized view containing only joins is possible after any type of DML to the base tables (direct-path or conventional INSERT, UPDATE, or DELETE).
A materialized view containing only joins can be defined to be refreshed ON COMMIT or ON DEMAND. If it is ON COMMIT, the refresh is performed at commit time of the transaction that does DML on the materialized view's detail table.
If you specify REFRESH FAST, Oracle performs further verification of the query definition to ensure that fast refresh can be performed if any of the detail tables change. These additional checks are:
A materialized view log must be present for each detail table unless the table supports PCT. Also, when a materialized view log is required, the ROWID column must be present in each materialized view log.
The rowids of all the detail tables must appear in the SELECT list of the materialized view query definition.
If some of these restrictions are not met, you can create the materialized view as REFRESH FORCE to take advantage of fast refresh when it is possible. If one of the tables did not meet all of the criteria, but the other tables did, the materialized view would still be fast refreshable with respect to the other tables for which all the criteria are met.

Cartesian of data from two tables with no matching columns

I was wondering – what’s the best way to create a Cartesian of data from two tables with no matching columns in such a way, so that there will be only a single SQL query generated?
I am thinking about something like:
for $COUNTRY in ns0: COUNTRY ()
for $PROD in ns1:PROD()
return <Results>
<COUNTRY> {fn:data($COUNTRY/COUNTRY_NAME)} </COUNTRY>
<PROD> {fn:data($PROD/PROD_NAME)} </PROD>
</Results>
And the expected result is combination of all COUNTRY_NAMEs with all PROD_NAMEs.
What I’ve noticed when checking query plan is that DSP will execute two queries to have the results – one for COUNTRY_NAME and another one for PROD_NAME. Which in general results in not the best performance ;-)
What I’ve noticed also is that when I add something like:
where COUNTRY_NAME != PROD_NAME
everything is ok and there is only one query created (it's red in the Query plan, but still it's ok from my pov). Still it looks to me more like a workaround, not a real best approach. I may be wrong though...
So the question is – what’s the suggested approach for such queries?

Which in general results in not the best performanceI disagree. Only for two tables with very few rows, would a single sql statement give better performance.
Suppose there are 10,000 rows in each table - the cross-product will result in 100 million rows. Sounds like a bad idea. For this reason, DSP will not push a cross-product to a database. It will get the rows from each table in separate sql statements (retrieving only 20,000 rows) and then produce the cross-product itself.
If you want to execute sql with cross-products, you can create a sql-statement based dataservice. I recommend against doing so.

In code it should be easy.
The following code adds a button called butman with a text "ADD".
It then registers a listener that will be called if the button is clicked.
This listener then calls the runAddData method if you clicked on butman while it contained the "ADD" text and it will call the runClearData method otherwise.
Therefore it will swap the button's functionality between ADD and CLEAR on every click.

You might want to run the ADD and CLEAR methods in their own threads so that it can run in the back ground, without slowing down your user interface.
I also like to rather reuse one button for multiple functionality in stead of making an application with hundreds of nodes only used rarely with masses of code to show and hide them if needed.

I would like to plot two lines with an xy graph in realtime

I understand how to plot in real time with an xy graph appending to an array, but I would like to simply put a line so I can see when my first plot crosses a certain value on the y-axis, say at like y=30. So I would like to know how it is you can plot two lines in real time. I'll put in my vi so you can take a look at what I have so far. On my vi the array is shortened to contain only 5 values so as not to take up memory.

Dynamically call VI containing only a user prompt

Is it an acceptable practice to call a vi dynamically that contains only a user prompt, for the purpose of prompting the user without suspending the main vi?

I have a prettt simple program that monitors an input voltage, and switches a relay (to turn on a pump) and sounds an alarm when the input voltage reaches a threshold level. The whole time, the readings from the ai and the state of the pump are displayed on a chart. The pump, once triggered ON, has to manually be turned off. I would like there to be a prompt that says "Are you sure you want to turn the pump off?" when the user presses "Turn pump off" button, but in the meantime I would like the chart to still be updating in the background. More generally, there are lots of times when I want to add confirmation input after button presses, and I am trying to prevent them from always suspending the main program.
I have a sneaking suspicion, based on the responses so far, that there is still something fundamentally wrong with the way I design my programs. I am just learning to use queued message handling, state machines, producer/consumer designs. I realize their potential to tremendously improve my programs, but I need help implementing them. I am still searching for good text on the basics of these architectures. Can you suggest any, preferably one that skip over the basics?

Flex 4 BUG with states.

So I have application I am creating, I have built several, and am using the new Flex 4 states. I am finding, when using items that requires dataProviders that about 50% of the time, the data isn't being completely populated in these components. Only when running in debug mode and stepping through the code slowly does the data get fully populated. Meaning if I have an arrayCollection dataProvider with 3 objects, only the first object is being shown in the components, such as a List.
I am not doing anything to crazy just creating a custom component that is based HGroup and that contains three s:lists.
Anyone run into this problem? Or know how to fix it?
