DIGI002 Connected, not recognized HELP

I just finished hooking up my new G5. Updated to Core Audio 7.0, installed Logic 7.2, and went to run AMS but under the audio side there is no DIGI002 showing up. Only the standard Audio Inputs 1 & 2. On the MIDI side the DIGI002 shows up. I've restarted, checked connections, but I'm stumped. Digi Core Audio Manager sees it as well. Has this happened to anyone else? Any luck fixing it?
Thanks

yep, v7 core audio driver won't see my old 001 either - gone back to the 6.9.2.
must be a bug, as i can understand it not seeing mine. but the 002!!!

  • Shuffle g2 not recognized; help?

When I connect my new iPod shuffle in it says "USB Device not recognized... Please try reconnecting the device [...]" I've tried everything, and the closest I got was while doing the steps listed in http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305136 but the Hardware Update Wizard won't even ask me if I want to connect to Windows Update to search for software, so it doesn't work... Anyone knows how to work around that? I'd really want my shuffle to work..

Check the manufacturer of your computer to see if any new USB Drivers are available and download and install them. If not, go into Device Manager, highlight USB and delete the USB Driver. Restart your computer and Windows will reload the driver.

  • IPOD connection not recognized

I recently had my IPOD mini software reset because of low battery life. Battery life is somewhat improved but of course I lost all my stored music. To try to resync the IPOD to my music library, I connected the IPOD to the PC and went through all the reset software instructions again. Now I get a "do not disconnect" message showing up on the screen, and the PC does not recognized the IPOD connection (edit/preferences/IPOD - and get message "no IPOD connected"). That's the situation as of this minute and I'm loathe to disconnect anything.

You could try plugging in your iPod, then opening iTunes. My iTunes store sometimes doesn't recognize my iPod mini or iPod shuffle, andi just plug my iPod in first, then open iTunes. See if that works. If not, i don't know what to tell you.....

  • External HDs, Digi002 suddenly not recognized by Mac Pro or G5

I have a very strange problem that I have not seen on any of the forums. Neither of my two Macs, a G5 or a newly purchased Mac Pro, recognize any of my external hard drives or Digi002, which is a controller used by Pro Tools. I have changed the ports, cables, everything. None of them will mount or be recognized by either computer. They do not show up in Disk Utilities or System Profiler.
Neither of my two Macs, a G5 or a newly purchased Mac Pro (I just purchased this today), recognize any of my external hard drives or Digi002, which is a controller used by Pro Tools. I have changed the ports, cables, everything. None of them will mount or be recognized by either computer. They do not show up in Disk Utilities or System Profiler.
All of the five external HDs I own, the external DVD burner, and Digi002 stopped mounting/being recognized on my G5. I needed to upgrade my computer anyway, so I purchased a Mac Pro. None of the above are recognized by the Mac Pro either.
I have tried FW400, FW800, and USB slots in both computers, and none of them will mount or be recognized.
Interestingly, all three of my USB drives mount in the USB ports that will not show any of my external HDs.
    _*G5 (OS10.5.8, G5 PowerMac7,2, 4G RAM):*_

    - I cannot get iTunes to play through the 1/8" output.
    - Pro Tools 9.0.0 does not have input/output, and of course, does not recognize Digi002.
Thanks for any help you can give.

Your new Mac Pro, by default, boots 64-bit kernel mode; requires 64-bit drivers or you will need to switch to 32-bit mode. At least to test.
Non-system drives are best formatted with the latest OS; and use GUID rather than Apple Partition Map.
Between a new Mac, new OS and all the changes, try a very simple approach.
Also, hope that you didn't migrate / import or use Setup to bring applications over to the Mac Pro; and don't use the G5 drives until you can reformat those to GUID.

  • Internet connection not recognized with Airport Express

Prior to getting my first Airport Express, I'd had my broadband modem connected directly to my Mac mini. Since I hadn't an iphone or ipad back then, wireless access wasn't an issue. When that changed, I purchased a first-generation Airport Express. My setup was as simple as it gets:
    a) Unplug the ethernet cable from my mini.
    b) Plug the ethernet cable into the (single) ethernet port on AE.
    c) Using Airport Utility, create a wireless network.
    d) Join that network with each of my devices - mini, iphone & ipad - so I might access the Internet wirelessly.
That's it. I've no printer or sound system to which I need wireless access. No extended wireless or other complicated networks.
My hardware setup needs haven't changed. However, because I was having intermittent problems with the wireless connection to my mini, I thought the new AE with its dual bands might help. I bought one yesterday, thinking to use it in place of the old AE.
I figured the setup would go as easily as it did last time. I was wrong. I've spent the last six hours trying to get the new AE to work. The problem is that the Internet connection is not being recognized. First, there was a message about a "self assigned IP address." I googled that, found discussions here about it, and (seemingly) managed to get rid of that problem. But now, no matter how many times I've unplugged/factory reset/restarted the various devices (AE, modem, mini), I can't get an Internet connection. The only way I've been able to write this message is to have reconnected the broadband modem directly to my mini. So I am completely without wireless at this point.
What is wrong? How the heck can I fix this?

Well, thanks to my own stubborn tenacity, I finally got my spanking new Airport Express to work. I'd tried several factory resets, following the recommendation that one power down all devices (not just the AE), plus other fiddling about, all to no effect.
The last factory reset I did differently. I kept my broadband modem and computer still on, and only unplugged the AE then plugged it in again while depressing the reset button for ten seconds. (Those factory resets aren't easy to do when you've only two hands!)
Finally, this time when I clicked the wi-fi icon in the menu bar, I saw the AE listed there, which allowed me to follow the setup process as described here.

  • Software activation Premiere elements: error 1: internet connection not recognized - error 2: failure: "Der eingegebene Antwortcode ist ungültig. Geben Sie ihn erneut ein." This I did for several times. I generated a new "Antwortcode", but the system gave

    computer: Lenovo ideapad Z710
    OS: Windows 8.1
    program: Premiere Elements 12.1

    Dear Mylenium,
    my problem is:
Adobe programs do not recognize an established and working internect connection.
So I used the same computer to get with the given request code ("Anforderungscode") an answer code ("Antwortcode"). But Premiere Elements does not recognize this answer code and tells me, that this answer code is invalid ("ungültig"). So what should I do ?
Everytime I try to repeat this, I get the same request code and the same answer code. Should I wait until the 72h time limit is over to get than a new answer code ?
Anyway, why does Premiere Elements (like Photoshop Elements, too) does not recognize the established internet connection, but is able to recognize that there is for instance an update available ?
    Thanks for help.

  • Msi p4n sli - ethernet LAN connection not recognized after reinstall

So I am reinstalling windows xp home edition after replacing a hard drive with over 1,000 bad sectors... The ethernet LAN worked just fine before reinstalling.  I don't have the original driver cd, so using another computer, i downloaded the latest nforce4 chipset / ethernet / IDE / SATA drivers from the msi downloads site.  Installed them and everything worked fine except that the network connection never showed up.  It is not to be found in the device manager, and I don't see it when I view hidden devices.  The LAN chip is enabled in the BIOS and it tried to netboot the first time i booted with the new hard drive (hadn't put the cd in the drive  ).   When that didn't work, I tried downloading the latest chipset drivers from nvidia's site, and the same thing happened.  No local area connection!
Is there something I'm missing?  is there a utility I should be installing before I install the chipset drivers, etc?
I'm feeling stressed as I need to get this finished and returned to my client today but I've been dealing with this since yesterday to no avail
Any help is appreciated!  thank you!
    Jeff

A little embarrassed that I didn't figure it out earlier, but I tried several things, realized I had turned off the LAN chip in the BIOS and forgot to turn it back on after installing the second time.
once i enabled it, I had to manually pick drivers for the "Other PCI Bridge Device", and then for the the nforce network controller windows found after that.
Lesson learned: stress inhibits cognitive function.

  • Microphone connection not recognized on rear panel

My new computer has been giving me lots of problems.  First the motherboard died, then this sound card problem.  Glad it's still in warranty.
Anyway, I sent my computer back to HP just a couple of weeks ago and they replaced my sound card.  I got it back today and, disappointingly, it still does NOT work.  I have the Creative X-Fi Sound Blaster sound card.  When I plug my microphone directly into the sound card via one of those jacks on the rear panel, it's checked under "Line-In" in sound manager, but it doesn't record at all.  However, when it's plugged into the microphone jack on the front panel, it works.  When I check Properties on "Microphone FP", it says "Front Panel Jack".  I called tech support and they thought it might have been that the sound card was incorrectly connected to the front panel.  I can't help but to wonder if this is just the way this specific sound card works since they supposedly replaced the whole sound card this time.  Does anyone know?

  • IPhone not connected not recognized after Leopard install

OK, so all was well with my iPhone and this weekend I installed Leopard, and now my iPhone has only been recognized once by my computer. I plug it in to it's cradle (as always) and no charging happens and it does not show up in iTunes. I have tried both of my available USB ports (no hubs involved) and neither one works, yet my other USB devices work just fine. I tried a new cable, it does not work, and I also plugged in the cable direct to an outlet and my phone charges just fine. All updates are installed. The only way I got it to work that one time was to turn my computer off and then on, but I've tried that this morning and even that does not work. I have no way to sync. Please help me!

    Laura Brown1,
If the iPhone is not seeing power from the USB port, try reseting the iPhone first.
If its still not seeing power, or being seen by the computer, reset the PMU, and then try it again. For some models of Mac the PMU is replaced by a SMC instead.

  • LAN connection not recognized

    Config :
    -wifi connection => airport (music)
-wifi conection => internet (disconnected when LAN connected)
    -ethernet connection => internet
IMac lost connection with internet thru ethernet.
    Don't understand why.
Don't know how to modify settings so we can have :
-wifi connection with airport (itunes and stereo)
    -ethernet connection for internet
It worked in the past and suddenly it stopped
    Thanks for your help
PS : I think the best would be a re-initialization of the network config

Thanks for the info but the pb is not solved.
    Apple > System > Network :
Ethernet = automatic via DHCP (169.254.24.81)
PB= it gives me an IP address which does not correpond to the IP address range of the DSL box (192.168.1.1)
    The most incredible is :
I connect a PC to the ethernet cable, it works !!!
    I'm kind of dizzy...

  • Ipod not recognized help

So last monday, exactly 1 week ago, I got in the mail my refirbished ipod 20gig photo from Apple. Works great, and no complaints. This past weekend it started to act up, less than a week later. For what ever reason my computer keeps giving me the message 'usb device not reconized'. The ipod charges when connected tot he pc, but just won't reconize it. I've been looking at the support articles and these discussion boards for the last two hours or so, trying almost everything, and still, nothing. I've updated my usb drivers, uninstall/reinstall itunes and ipod updater/drivers, tried new usb ports, unplug all usb devices besides ipod, renamed my second hd(was e:) and now e: is open, still nothing. Booted into disk mode on the ipod, still unrecongized. I dont know what to do anymore.
The only thing I can think of is that I connected it to a mac on thursday, using it as an external HD for file transfer. But I wouldn't think that would screw it up.

  • Internet Connection not recognized

My iPod Nano connects perfectly to my computer. When I charge it with Itunes (7.0.2) it says there is a software update for my iPod to versino 1.3. I click download and install or just download and it says that I am not connected to the internet... I am though because I can view web pages, etc. I have restarted my computer and itunes and such processes but nothing has worked. Any other suggestions?

the following document is a good place to start with that one:

  • Connection not recognized

Despite of a connection between the Bluetooth device and and my Nokia 6233 phone does Nokia PC Suite not recognize this connection and reports no phones connected. I use Nokia PC Suite 6.82.22.0. How can I solve this problem?

Yes.........may be I got the problem solved.
You use the Bluesoleil software for Bluetooth, Right???
    If I am right then,
This is a Conflict between the Bluetooth software and the PC suite .When both of the software tries to connect the phone indivisually then this happens.
Try to check that and if there is no improve, REINSTALL both of the softwares.
