Digital Booklet on Ipod?

I recently bought an album from Itunes that came with a digital booket. However, Itunes says the booklet can't be played on my Ipod. I haven't been able to view it on my computer either. How can I view the digital booklet? I doube click on it and nothing happens.
Thanks in advance!

A digital booklet is just a PDF file. Preveiw should open it. and no you can't veiw it on your iPod.

  • ITunes Store via iPod Touch WiFi download for Digital Booklet

I purchased Drastic Fantastic/KT Tunsall's new music Deluxe Version. I note that the Digital Booklet extras did not download to the iPod touch via the WiFi download. Nor did they download on their own when I did the synch with my laptop. Finally I went into my iTunes account via my laptop and viewed my purchases. Sure enough they were purchased. I then use the check for purchases on iTunes and it still didn't catch the missing booklets. Finally I went into my account to report the trouble and they started to download.
Are the booklets too big to come directly to the iPodTouch via Wifi? Are they supposed to download later on your computer when you go to the iTunes Store?

All videos and digital booklets are downloaded separately after you have synced your ipod touch to the computer and your itunes library. Every album that has a digital booklet states this at the very bottom of the album list on wifi ITMS. When you try to sync a digital booklet to the ipod touch you get a error message stating that "Name of booklet cannot be synced to the ipod touch." Its not a size issue just simply that they are not compatible with the ipod touch.

I've downloaded a digital booklet to my computer.  How do I transfer it to my Ipad or Ipod touch.

From Get info, change the media kind to Book, or right-click and use Show in Windows Explorer, press CTRL+C to copy, browse to the Automatically Add to iTunes folder in your media folder and press CTRL+V to paste, then edit the properties of the version added to the Books section of the library. Once there you can view it with the iBooks app on the device.

  • If I download an album onto my 5th Gen iPod touch, can i download the digital booklet directly ti my iPod, or do I need to use iTunes on a computer?

I recently bought the Great Gatsby album on my iPod touch 5th generation (great album by the way, I recommend it to everyone). In iTunes, it said the album came with a digital booklet. After downloading all of the music, I opened iBooks to see if it was there. A message popped up that said 'an error occurred while trying to download Great Gatsby Digital booklet' and I tapped retry. The message popped up again and I reluctantly tapped cancel. My question is, is this error message normal, indicating that I need to use a computer to download it, or should I be able to download digital booklets directly to my iPod touch?

  • Digital booklet viewable on iPod?

I have a digital booklet which came with my Bob Dylan The Collection purchase. Can this be stored and viewed
    on my iPod classic(80GB).

Is it listed under the Books category of your iTunes library? You should be able to view it by double clicking on it from within iTunes and it should then open up in the default pdf reader application such as Adobe Acrobrat.

  • IPod Touch and viewing Digital Booklets

    Hello,
When i sync my touch in my movies list it list the Digital Booklets i have and i check them. When i go to view the books on my touch i can not find them anywhere.
    Am i missing something?
    thanks for your help

I'm sure it is doable just not directly. The booklet is in Adobe .pdf format isn't it? A quick and dirty method to do this is:
If you have a windows machine, view each page in full screen mode then hit your "print scrn" key. That will take a screenshot of the booklet page and save it in the clipboard.
Then open up Microsoft Paint and paste in the screenshot.
Finally save the image as a jpeg image then load that image into iTunes.
From there you can just sync up the booklet page onto your iPod and view it in the photos section. Then just repeat for each booklet page.
If you have a Mac I'm sure there is an equivilant method as well. I'm just not familiar enough with OS X to be comfortable in offering a series of steps to do the same thing. I know the windows solution does work though(tried it myself).

  • What is the 'digital booklet' in music albums?

    Hi guys and gals
What is the 'digital booklet' I see that has come with a few of my album purchases?
Is it something that I can open somehow?
Is there content in there beyond the songs themselves? Like a cd cover booklet, that has art and sometimes lyrics or whatever?
It doesn't seem to have a 'play' function; but then again, I haven't learned to navigate through iTunes very well yet...
    Thanks for your help!
    I love this community thing!

    Hey snarkypuss,
The digital booklet is a substitute for the paper booklet you might receive if you bought a physical copy of the album. Digital booklets are available in your download queue when you log in to the iTunes Store on your computer. You can find more information about syncing digital booklets here:

  • How to use a digital booklet?

I'm using iTunes v8. I've downloaded a few ditigal booklets, but cannot seem to do anything with them. When I try to open one, Adobe Reader opens with an error message "invalid path." I cannot view them on my iPod Classic either. I asked Apple Support about it, and the nice lady allowed me to download it again. Same problem. They then gave me 5 song credits since I was still having problems.
    Appreciate any ideas. Ben

Well, I know that digital booklets are only for the computer.
Do you have the latest Adobe stuff or whatever? I've never had this problem, but hopefully you find your answer.

LP content can only be downloaded on a computer's iTunes (or 1st gen Apple TV), you can't download them on an iOS device - and I haven't seen anything that say it will change in iOS 8. If you don't have a computer then at the moment you won't be able to download/view LP content
    About LP : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3823
After you buy an album with iTunes LP on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, the album's songs will download directly to the device. The iTunes LP will download to iTunes on your computer when you choose Store > Check for Available Downloads.

  • Digital Booklets - are more coming?

This is probably a question for an Apple representative, but perhaps someone else here has heard through the grapevine. I see in my latest scan of new album offerings on the Itunes Store that 8 of 25 include digital booklets. This is certainly a much higher percentage than just a year or two ago. Has Apple made any plans to increase this percentage, for new or older releases? I have read information on how these are uploaded - is Apple leaving it up to the artists and record companies to do this on their own? Are there any plans to have these booklets readable on the iPod, iPod Touch, iPhone, etc.? Thanks, Jon.

Yes, I hope you know that all of us with names sounding like John Lowry are Mac fans. You're lucky, though, in that you only have to spell out your last name - my parents handed me a double-whammy. Look me up on facebook - I'm in the Atlanta GA network. Jon

    Hello Bdev15,
I would be concerned too if the songs I purchased from iTunes were not downloading to my iPhone. You have taken some great troubleshooting steps already, and thank you for providing the details of the steps you too.  I have a few additional suggestions to get it downloaded to your iPhone.
First, I recommend checking to see if the download was interrupted:
If your download was interrupted using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
From the Home screen, tap the iTunes app.
For iPhone or iPod touch, tap More > Downloads. For iPad, tap Downloads.
Enter your account name and password if prompted.
Tap the blue download arrow to resume.

If the songs still do not download, next I recommend downloading the songs when connected to another network.  For example, if you are using the cellular network, you could switch to Wi-Fi, or you could try an alternate Wi-Fi network.  Follow the steps in the section titled "iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch > Music" in the article below to download the songs:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

If you are still not able to download the songs, you can report an issue with these purchases using the steps in this article:

  • HT203433 I bought a cd today, and the digital booklet came with it, (Of course).  But when I click on the digital booklet, it opens up in Microsoft Words with no pics/lyrics/artwork.  Instead, I get like 200 pages of a bunch of Gibberish letters/symbols :

Anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it???
Please and thank you, in advance
It's not on iPod, it's on the computer labtop that this is happening.  Figured it prob wouldn't work on an iPod

Hello fellow iTunes users. My issue is related to the one above.
I can successfully download the digital booklet included with Taylor Swift's Red Deluxe album, but when I try to open it in Adobe Reader (and the pdf reader included with Windows 8), the following error screen appears:
I have tried to re-download the file several times - and on a different computer. Is Apple aware of this issue and, if so, is there a fix for it? Both are using Windows x64 versions. One is running Windows 7, the other running (the truly awful) Windows 8.
    Many thanks.
p.s. I upgraded to iTunes 11 before this purchase and I find iTunes 11 to be a marked improvement on v10 and the only reliable media player that I am able to use on Windows 8, so congratulations Apple for doing a better job than Microsoft when it comes to Windows 8 compatibility, lol!

  • Digital Booklet showing in Books but not in iBook

    Hi ,
I have changed the Digital Booklet from file > get content into Book.
Then, under the iPad Device, the Digital Booklet appears to be in Books and I tick it and try to sync it over to my device.
After sync, the Digital Booklet is not at my device.
In addition, I cannot see the Digital Booklet at iBook at my MAC OS X as well but it is visible at the Books under device setting there.
I have no idea why the Digital Booklet is showing at Books section but cannot sync over to my device or to my iBook at Macbook.
I want to try to convert it back to the iTunes but it seems I cannot find a place to convert it back so that it can be view from iTunes.
    Please help on this.
